Very Memorable Day Out

I booked this tour as part of our weekend getaway for our 25th wedding anniversary for my wife and I, and it did not disappoint. The staff were very accommodating, ensuring we were seated together and making our celebration special. The bus was spacious and clean, and Steve kept us entertained between stops with his extensive knowledge about the region. Their professionalism and friendliness made the whole day fun and easy. The experience was well worth it.

Wine trip to Margaret River

The service in booking with Trudy was first class and the experience on the day with Steve was a lot of fun and very informative in relation to the region and its food.

We had the best day. Our tour guide Clarise was very informative, so lovely and helpful and the vehicle was very comfortable. We met lovely people on the day. I would recommend everyone to use them when visiting Margaret River. They really put themselves out to help you in every way. What an incredible day and experience

The perfect day out!

Fabulous! I highly recommend this tour, Clarise was a wonderful tour guide. A great day out, the small group was just perfect. 3 wineries, olive farm, chocolate factory and coffee roastery. A great mix to see the true culture of the Margaret River.

Fabulous Margaret River Tour

Fabulous day tour of the Margaret River region! Steve was a terrific tour guide and provided us with so much knowledge about the area. The whole day was extremely well organised and we enjoyed each place we visited. The wine tastings were extremely generous and lunch was delicious. We especially enjoyed visiting Vasse Virgin skincare and gourmet foods and the Margaret River Chocolate Factory in the afternoon. This is a great tour if you are limited in time as it gives you a wonderful experience of the Margaret River all in one day. We will definitely be back!

Definitely recommend

Really nice tour! Steve was a great tour guide, kind and helpful. He had great knowledge about everything - The wineries and the town itself. Harvest Tours have great employees, I cannot remember the name of the person I had on the phone but she was amazing. I would definitely recommend ! The wine tasted great, plenty of choices for everyone’s taste. The skincare olive oil shop was great as well.

Fantastic and fun tour

Brilliant tour. Enjoyed the stop at the coffee shop to start the day. Wineries were lovely. Lunch was very enjoyable. Out tour guy Steve was friendly and informative. He went above and beyond for us - we had a small group so he took us to Canal Rocks and to locations to see kangaroos. This was an extra bonus and a made the trip very memorable.

Amazing family orientated

This was a fantastic tour. I brought my parents to see this region of WA who are a bit elderly I their 70s, my mother also being a non drinker. But they loved every minute of it, from the coffee in the morning to the wineries and chocolate in the afternoon. The wine tastings just keep coming, so you'll never sober up lol. Also on our trip the group were the most decent diverse ppl from all over the world just looking to have a good time and we all got on so well. I would definitely recommend this trip and for me personally one of the best tours I've been on in my life because of the awesome ppl I met on the tour and Clarice who ran the whole thing. She was an absolute sweety. Cannot recommend this anymore

Enjoyable wine tour

Great tour, friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. Many wines to taste. A visit to a coffee house and cleansing beer to finish the day.

Top Notch Tour

From the special pick up service to the drop off back to our accommodation, Harvest Tours did everything to make sure we were looked after and having a great time. Every stop was fantastic and the guide Steve was incredibly knowledgeable. Best tour I have been on. Would definitely recommend this tour or any other run by this family owned business.

Great day out in Margaret River

Fantastic day out - Steve (our guide) was knowledgeable about the local area and took us to some amazing vineyards, coffee roasters, olive grove and brewery. Highly recommend this tour.

Amazing intimate wine tour experience!!

Fantastic all day wine tour!! Firstly, Clarice was the absolute BOMB!!! So informative about all things wine and the place she calls home. Such a gorgeous person and made everyone on the tour feel relaxed and happy. We never felt rushed at the stops. Saw some amazing family run wineries. All of them incredibly passionate about their craft and you can’t help but get swept up in their journey. Our favorite was Brown Hill winery. Really beautiful wines! We had a great lunch at the Nookery cafe and they even gave us all a complimentary sparkling wine to celebrate our honeymoon! We finished the tour at the West Wings Distillery and tried their amazing gins and vodka (not that we needed more alcohol by then!!). I would highly recommend this great tour. Small and intimate with a great host! Thanks again Clarice!!! 🥰

Set aside a day for this great experience

Our guide Steve was friendly and very informative. The Koffeeworks stop was the perfect start. The information provided by Alex on the roasting process was an eye opener & the whole tasting process was up-beat & enjoyable. We enjoyed all the Vinyards & wine tastings. Lots of great wines available and delightful people sharing their passion for wine-making. The lunch stop was in a beautiful setting and delicious. Thanks Steve for you recommendation. We had the nicest barramundi we have ever had. The rest of the trip took in other products of the region and rounded out the trip nicely. Highly recommended.

Good value tour. Well worth it.

Very informative wine tasting experience. Tour guide (Steve) was very knowledgeable about the region and the various local produce, not just wine. Not exclusive or prestige wineries, but we saw that as a bonus. Family run organisations are far more interesting and personal, with the people who actually produce the products providing the information on wines for tasting. Lunch was excellent, with yet more wine - although we opted for a soft drink by this time. Lovely day out with friendly, multi-national companions.

Alright experience, not a fully day wine tour.

The wine tour experience fell short of expectations as it only included visits to three wineries. Adding one more winery to the itinerary would have enhanced the overall experience. Additionally, the selected wineries lacked the prestige and renown typically associated with such tours, further detracting from the anticipated experience.

Great day out

Great trip taking in 3 x wineries, coffee, chocolate and olive oils. Guide was brilliant. Helpful and very knowledgeable. Lunch was also superb. Great all day, relaxed trip. Highly recommend.

Fabulous Trip

What a full fun packed day! Our guide Steve was so knowledgeable and friendly. We had time for a little detour to see wild kangaroos which was a first for us. The beautiful bay we saw was an extra stop and stunning. Would highly recommend this trip. Wine, food, skin care, chocolate, coffee tasting. Thank you so much.

Full day exploring the very best of Margaret River

We had an amazing day exploring the region with our excellent guide Steve, who was very friendly and full of knowledge. It was very well organised as there was so many places that we visited. The food at lunch was excellent as well as all the wines along the way. Steve was so kind at the end of the day to take us to see lots of kangaroos close up and a stop at a lovely bay. Would definitely recommend this tour especially as it was a small group and made it more personal

Fantastic tour

Steve is a fantastic tour guide, we went to 3 great wineries, a coffee tasting, olive oil, lunch, chocolate & a brewery along with some spectacular scenery. We were wined, dined & filled with knowledge, food & wine. We loved the tour & highly recommend, it’s a great fun day out.

Enjoyable but disappointing

We found the overall tour enjoyable but aspects were disappointing. We enjoyed the Koffee works to starts the day. We were disappointed at the first wine tasting as we were expecting a beautiful vineyard (as advertised) but were told that this was under construction and instead got taken to a a ‘temporary cellar door’ situated on the side of a main road which was very underwhelming with lots of background noise and not at all scenic! I felt as though we should have been taken to an alternative vineyard to start the tour but learnt that it was owned by the same family as the tour! The ‘meat and cheese’ pairing here was also not worth mentioning! The wine tasting itself was enjoyable as was the second wine tasting and the lunch. However, we felt as though we were discouraged from doing the wine tasting after the lunch as scheduled and rushed on to the next place which was very disappointing as we had paid for this in the tour! The second half of the tour was also underwhelming as we were taken to two very touristy shops (the chocolate factory and vass virgin shop) and just left to our own devices. The final tour stop at the brewery was more of a restaurant than a brewery and, again, we were just left to our own devices. Overall the tour was enjoyable but given that it was advertised as a ‘wine tour’ we only visited one actual vineyard! It should be advertised more as a tourist tour. Not sure I would recommend.

We had the best day on this tour! Our tour guide Steve was fantastic and the full day was fantastic start to finish. 10/10 recommend!

Great day out

Lovely host, Steve, gave us a really detailed commentary as we trundled around Margaret River and surroundings. We tasted wine from three wineries, drank coffee and had a fun time with the other rogues that we met that day. Went for the whole day, which was maybe a bit long - we could have dropped the chocolate factory from the itinerary I think. Anyway, good value and great people.

Day out in Margaret River

An enjoyable day with Steve and our small group. We started our day sampling gourmet coffees, followed by wine tasting. Our hosts at the wineries were welcoming and informative and the wines sampled were varied and delicious. Lunch was tasty and plentiful. The Olive oil store we visited sold beautiful body and food products and the staff were especially helpful. We finished the day at a chocolate factory where last minute Christmas gifts were purchased. Our final stop for drinks was perhaps a stop too many after a long and busy day.

Best Experience Anywhere By Far!

Outstanding experience that obviously included amazing wines and beautiful vineyards, and was SO MICH MORE!!!! I would strongly recommend doing this first in your trip to the area to appreciate the true spirit, beauty and diversity of Margaret River! And our man Steve was the best guide in the world!!!! Talk about someone who loves his community!!!!!!!

Look no further than this tour

Could not recommend this tour enough. Had the best day out covering the finest wineries, coffee, chocolate, brewery and even an olive oil skin shop which I honestly didn't think was going to enjoy however got around it and ended up coming away with some products. Steve our tour guide is hands down the best I've ever experienced. His knowledge of the area was incredible and made the day so enjoyable and easy. The lunch supplied was to die for as well as every tasting was too tasty. Learnt loads from every stop. If you want to experience the best of Margaret River has offer this is your tour.

Wine and food tour

Steve, our driver, picked us up from our hotel as arranged and took us to three different vineyards, coffee tasting, two course lunch, very nice plus chocolate tasting, scenic sea views, kangaroo seeking and dedicated soap/oil testing - Vasse Virgin. A full day. Very enjoyable.

Most enjoyable tour and a great day.

We all enjoyed our full day tour of the wineries, coffe and food places. Great lunch, Clarice was wonderful, very helpful and made the day most enjoyable. Pick up at our door was fantastic. We loved our stay in Margaret River and hope to come back soon. Thanks Harvest for a great tour.

Our guide Clarice was the best! She was very helpful and knowledgeable. The small groups were great. Lovely food for lunch. Never felt rushed or under time pressure to move on. Great job!

Wine, Beer & Chocolate!

Variety of things that were covered from wineries to brewhouse & chocolate factory. Excellent value for money as picked up at 9am and dropped back at accommodation about 6pm. Tour guide & driver .. Rusty .. was knowledgeable & helpful.

Great wine, great food and wonderful guide

The day started very well with the pick-up at our accommodation by the very professional and competent Clarice. She demonstrated her knowledge of the area and of the wines throughout the day. The wines were all delicious and we even bought some and will definitely look out for them in the shops. All in all, a great day.

Small Group Day Tour of Margaret River

Excellent day which ran very smoothly, thanks to Steve’s professionalism! A good variety of experiences which Steve adapted to the small group needs! Really appreciated the door to door service which made for a very relaxing day!

Brilliant tour

Brilliant tour. Booking very efficient and all email queries were replied to quickly by Trudy. Steve picked us up promptly at our accommodation in a very comfortable mini-bus - much nicer than other tour buses we passed during the day!! Maximum of 10 on each tour - we were a total of 8. Great start with coffee tasting - much needed before two full tastings, delicious two course lunch with a lot of choice and then a third tasting session in the afternoon - ending up with a luxurious natural cleansing product and then chocolate factory visit. Oh - and then the beer and distillery to complete the day. A very full and very enjoyable day. Never rushed. Enthusiastic, informative, relaxed and friendly throughout

Tasting Margaret Rivers best

Fantastic small group tour. Had a fantastic day tasting coffee, wines, olive products, chocolate and beer of the Margaret Rivers region. Steve was so knowledgeable and made our day complete. Each location had a wonderful experience. Made to feel welcome we will return to this beautiful area again.

A great day out with Harvest Tours

Our tour guide Steve was incredibly knowledgeable and very pleasant. The tour is a small group in a (super clean) mini van, which we preferred. It included a visit to a coffee producer for tastings and education, 3 x different wine tastings, which was enough. 2 course lunch, main and dessert and a glass of wine at lovel Woody Nook Winery. A visit to Vasse Virgin, beauty products and delicious tastings of local produce to try and buy. A visit to Margaret River chocolate factory and a final drink one the way home. Pick up and drop off from our accomodation was also included. It was a great way to experience the area and see, taste and learn about wine making and sample local produce. Well done Steve and family on a great experience.

Lovely tour operator

The guide - Steve was amazing! He ensured no one was feeling left out during the whole tour and even helped us to plan our road trip and gave recommendations of places to visit so we do not feel bored during our whole stay in Margaret River! Definitely recommended.

A Must Do Full Day Margaret River Experience

We had a great day of fantastic wines, food, Chocolates, Vasse Olive Oil Products, and a cleansing ale at the end of the day and expert commentary from our Guide Steve and some great company for our wedding anniversary. We had some great stops in the Margaret River Region which was a fantastic day out all round

A day around Margaret River area

A great day with a variety of lovely places to visit. The staff are so friendly and made us feel very comfortable and happy. I liked how the tour included Johava Coffee, Vasse Virgin products and the Chocolate factory as well as great wineries Thanks Harvest Tour's. 😊

Drink and drink and drink.

The entire trip was well organised. Food are great. We tasted nice coffee and understood the correct way to taste your coffee. Plenty of wine to try so make sure u can control dun drunk before next vineyard (if u are not a good drinker like me haha). Steve is knowledgeable and super friendly. Thanks Steve and the tour coordinator. Def will reco to my friends and be back!

A Must-Do while in Margaret River

Great way to see and experience Margaret River and surrounds. Clarissa, our lovely host, was very knowledgeable about the area. The tour was well-organised and definitely value for money! We enjoyed a lot of wine tasting, plus a delicious lunch at the cosy, Woody Nook winery.

Superb experience and very worth it!

Went on a wine tour with Harvest Tours with my husband, baby (18 months) and mother. It was such a lovely trip! Before the trip, Trudy was easy to talk to and she was very responsive with my questions! On the day of Steve was right on time and helped me set up the car seat. He has so much knowledge of the region and shared a lot of information! Steve was also very accommodating and sent us back earlier because our little one was getting fussy! Also drank a LOT of wine and saw many different places. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!
