Great day all round

Fantastic day, John was a great guide and he really knows the area and the industry - so much passion and knowledge. The choice of wineries was diverse and I learned a lot and chocolate and finishing with a beer made it a great day. Windance was our favourite for the day and our host was so welcoming and so was her Dalmatian Solomon. John mixes up where he goes and what wineries so I’d definitely go more than once and recommend it to anyone coming over. Blending at Swings and Roundabouts was good fun and their pizza was amazing. We also had some vegetarians and vegans in the tour and they were really well catered for too… John, it was a great day and see you next time we’re back over west!

Highly recommend this tour

Mateo is a fantastic guide. He really knows his stuff. He makes the day really worthwhile. The day is great for anyone who is wanting to experience and explore Margaret river. The amount of wines on offer is extensive to try and I would highly recommend anyone to try this day out. It's definitely worth the money you pay for the experience

Wine Tour with Fran on 9th February 2024. Fran was a great tour guide. Very professional and friendly. Was very knowledgeable on all things wine and very proud to show us around the Mary River wineries Looked after us and made sure we got back you our accommodation safely. I Would go again with that company

Riding the buggy around the vineyard was super fun! we just asked and they were lovely and said “yes” .The tour guide Caleb was very relaxed . For lunch Pizzas were all different and yummy the vegetarian was also catered for. Wineries were good ( I bought a bottle from each one ) Caleb suggested if we go again to notify them and they will take us to different wineries. As there are so many. Just wished we visited a cheese place or had cheese with one of the wine tasting. Over all we had lots of fun

Great small group winery/brewery tour - highly recommend!

Great day out visiting some of the smaller wineries and a couple of breweries. Our guide Mateo was super helpful and very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend this tour. So much fun!

Great wine tour

Fantastic!!

From the minute we were picked up at our accommodation we knew this was going to be a great day and we were not wrong. The tour took in a number of small, family run wineries which was a terrific alternative to the bigger, more famous wineries. Great lunch at Black Brewing Co and the tour finished up at the Beerfarm with a beer tasting. Extremely comfortable bus and last but by no means least our driver/host Fran who made the day truly memorable. Don’t be put off by the slightly out-there name of the tour: this is definitely not a ‘get pissed quick’ tour- it’s well-designed and very informative. Also really great fun!!

Great vibes all day!

We had such a great day with Rusty from Wine for dudes. We were lucky enough to have a small intimate group of people which provided such a great vibe all day. This was my second time doing this tour, and I never did the same winery twice! The places we visited were so beautiful, and a few included their wine and dogs! ☺️ Rusty wad very knowledgeable and friendly. Lunch was absolutely delicious. Would only book my tours in Margaret River with Wine for Dudes.

Josh kept us entertained...

Josh kept us entertained on the bus between venues. We all had a great day and most of the bus meet up for post event drinks too!

Fantastic experience!

We experienced one of the better known wineries and some boutique ones. Had a choc factory and a soap boutique visit as well.

Absolute must do

We are lucky enough to have had several wine tours in our fine, and I’m pretty sure this was the best one so far. Josh was great from the start, incredibly friendly and welcoming, full of local knowledge and better still, great conversation. A lot of what makes these tours great are the strangers you meet who become friends for a day too, and we had some lovely people with us. The chocolate tasting was amazing! The cellar doors offered some fantastic wines, I couldn’t pick a favourite tbh as there were perfectly diverse. That said, the Guinea Fowl and Lola the dog welcoming us was a highlight at Murri Wood park! A brilliant day out, one that we will certainly do again with these guys….. be sure to enjoy the sunset on the drive back :) Thanks again Josh, we had a great day.

MARGARET WINES EXCURSION

We enjoy Margaret River wines when we're home in Florida. On this trip, we got to actually taste these fine wines on site. And with other wine enthusiasts, some of whom were quite knowledgeable. But you can be a rank amateur on wines and yet enjoy this trip and learn about wines.

The best wine tour ever and I’ve done plenty around the world. Josh was awesome host, very knowledgeable and variety of wineries was really great.

Good way to taste Margaret River wines

Thoroughly enjoyed the tour and tastings. Allowed us to get a good taste of Margaret River wines. Good group and very informative tour guide! Recommend!

A perfect day out

This was the most fantastic day. I was a little worried as I felt the tour was geared towards younger people but I couldn't have been more wrong. Everyone was made really welcome by Josh - all the winery were great but the meal at Swings and Rounders was perfect. WE had freshly made pizza's, fries and salads. We could not touch the amount of food. I am a vegetarian and had lots of options. The timings of the stops was good but it was certainly Josh and the company which made it Perfect.

Amazing!

Super tour! Our guide Josh took us to some amazing wineries with different types of wines and production-methods. Very good lunch with pizza and make your own blend of Malbec and Merlot. Absolutely reccomend!

Wine & Beer Tour with the lot!

Such a great day! Our moderately priced tour included around sixteen participants, with ages from 18 to 70's! There was instant friendship between (us) three older couples and several younger singles/couples, despite the age variation. The Tour Driver/Guide, Ryan, succeeded in creating a friendly atmosphere both on-board and at each destination, which led to a great camaraderie. Tastings were generous, and food excellent! We visited several wineries, a brewery, chocolate factory, plus coffee & ice cream!

Would absolutely recommend!

Couldn’t have asked for a better day with pick up and drop off from our AirBnB. The wine tour was as described in our booking. We attended 3 wineries for tastings, had lunch, attended a chocolate shop and then finished off at a local brewery for a few drinks. Ryan was a fantastic host for the tour. Tried keeping us to schedule but made sure we still spent enough time at each location. The three wineries were great, with each having a different feel. I don’t think we would’ve found them on our own!

Great day in Margaret River

Great day out! Beautiful vineyards & cellar doors. Lunch was delicious. Small group which was fantastic. All while being driven around by an informative and relaxed dude (thanks Rusty!)

Fabulous fun day!

We had a fun group on the bus, great driver and gorgeous wines and food. A great variety of wines and seeing parts of the Margaret River area we would not know.

Great tour exploring the beautiful wine region!

This tour was great, very friendly tour guide and a really enjoyable day getting to know a great bunch of people. You won't regret it! And don't worry... it's not JUST for dudes, there were more dudettes on our tour than dudes ;).

Excellent way to spend a day

Picked up from our BnB for a really laid back trip to some lesser known wineries in the beautiful countryside. Wine tasting was included, discovered some fabulous reds and whites. Had a lovely lunch at one of the wineries and finished off with a couple of beers at a busy and picturesque brewery. Thoroughly recommended if you have a passing interest in wine, and the locations are all stunning.

Amazing day out in the Margaret River region

We had a great day out with Wine for Dudes! Had a great group, the wines we tried we delicious and a great mixture of different cellar doors. Both professional and relaxed at the same time, we never felt rushed or as if we were just another wine tour. Taz was an amazing guide, highly recommended

Great tour to lovely boutique wineries

Loved this tour! Ryan was a fabulous guide and we had a great day. All of the wineries I had never been to before which was an awesome experience. I’ve been to margs a heap of times so it was a real treat going to some smaller, more boutique wineries. Swings and roundabouts never disappoints for a lunch stop either. Would recommend ro anyone ☺️

Awesome day, would highly recommend!

Cannot recommend the Wine for Dudes experience enough! We had the best day trying some of Margaret Rivers best wines. It was relaxed and not too rushed, and most of all fun. A no brainer if you are in the Margaret River area.

Unforgettable experience

Great experience with an amazing selection of vineyards. Comfortable group size. Very diverse experience with 3 different vineyards, chocolate factory, wine blending, great lunch and a beer bar. We had a lot of fun - definitely a must do!

It’s wine o’clock somewhere...

(Sorry I didn't get your name!) We were picked up by the most dude of dudes from wine for dudes at our airbnb. We were introduced enroute to the illustrious history of winemaking in Margaret River. Instead of the usual big-boys, we were brought to a series of smaller family-owned wineries. In all honesty, that was a good call because we got to experience the different characters of different ways of making the same bunch of styles that I don't think we will see in big-boy land. Your visits may vary but I can guarantee an interesting mix! We had lunch in a pizza-winery in between, and ended it at a local brewery (what more a happy ending?). Got sent back to our airbnb drunk and happy.

Drive was awesome

The driver is lovely guy, very informative about the Magaret River and local places. Really impress that they have taken us to a smaller venues good for supporting small business. Definitely would used these tour again if I come back.

Wonderful small group wine tour!

Mark is a fabulous tour guide, the vineyards we visited were diverse and each offered something unique, the wines were all lovely, the craft beers were a nice surprise and the lunch was very tasty! Not too much driving in-between locations and there wasn’t a huge push to buy. The small group of 6 couples max was just the right size and the door-to-door pickup made it very easy. All in all, an excellent wine tour! Can highly recommend.

Yeah the dudes!

We had a great time on this winery tour - Johno was extremely knowledgeable and kept us entertained. We went to some really great wineries, you could tell Wine for dudes have curated a diverse group of boutique wineries for their tour groups versus the typical mainstream options. This allows for a unique experience! We had a great group of people from all over and Johno even let us take over the playlist which really united the group! If you’re headed to Margaret River Wine for Dudes is a must do!

Amazing fun day!

This tour was so much fun, we got to see wineries we hadn’t heard about but make such good quality wine, had a great lunch included and a glass of wine plus tasters at the other wineries, visited a chocolate factory and a brewery to finish up the day, and got a stubby holder as a gift :) 100% recommend the tours from Wine for Dudes

Diversity of people on the bus trip, great day out. Loads of different wine tastings and good company, lunch was great. Pizza available gluten free and tasted great. Bus driver very friendly and knowledgeable.

We really enjoyed this tour. We got treated to some of the smaller wineries plus a couple of larger places. Our guide, Jeremy, had a great knowledge of the region and we liked the experience of sharing the day with a small group of people.
