Hidden Gem - so true

Beautiful countryside, vineyards were lovely and the wine was great for the most part, one vineyard didn't take my fancy but the others were exceptional. I bought way too much wine, but don't regret a thing! The visit to the farm was nice and coffee and scones were a treat (the scones were huge, I couldn't eat all mine but the chickens enjoyed the leftovers)! Our guide, Ziggy, was a great source of information and he made the day so much more enjoyable. Thoroughly recommend this tour.

Ziggy was an amazing tour guide and gave us a lot of insight. He had lots of knowledge about the wine tasting as well as the animals we got to visit on the farm. Very accomodating to us and would definitely recommend him to anyone going to Margaret River!

Fantastic Day out in Margaret River

Spent an amazing day with Dani visiting Margaret River. When we got in the van Dani told us about the history of the region, as a well his knowledge of the wildlife. We went to see if there were any whales out in the bay migrating north, however, alas we didn't see any (a bit to early). The visit to the wineries were well planned and prior to going into the venue Dani explained the history of the the vineyard and the types of wines they produced. All in all it we had an fantastic day with Dani, he's very engaging and very easy to talk to. Would highly recommend this tour.

A wonderfully diverse day out, supporting local businesses and wineries. A fantastic tour guide.

This was the best day trip that I could have planned. Our driver Dani picked me up from my accommodation and we met the rest of our group in Margaret River. We started off the day at a farm stay, feeding the wildlife and having deliciously fresh scones with great coffee. Then it was off to Coweramup to visit Temper Temper chocolate and a local tea shop. We were then off to our first wine tasing at a local winery. Lunch was wonderful at Ollio Bella, an olive farm. we then had 2 more stops at local wineries before being dropped back off at our accommodation. Dani was so knowledgeable and passionate about the local history, wine making in the region and the areas that we were visiting. He made the day so fun, exciting, relaxing and adventurous all at the same time! This is the best tour company that doesn't just go out for a day of drinking, but also to visit and support the local small businesses and family wineries, do some shopping and spend a great day with like minded people. Thanks Dani and Ziggy for a great day out.

The day was amazing from start to finish. Danny (our tour guide) made the trip too! Its the perfect balance of different activities and you really get to experience all the best parts of the Margaret River wine region. We had a great mixture of people too on our tour which made the whole day and experience a fun one with lots of different and interesting conversations. Would highly recommend this tour! Good, even if you don’t like wine.

I don’t like wine, so doing a wine tour may not have been the smartest of moves on my part. However, I had a great time. Highlights included feeding alpaca’s, listening to the history of the region, and going “wow this one actually tasted good”

There is so much more to Margaret River

There is so much more to Margaret River than the wineries. This tour incorporates the natural beauty of the area, local produce and off course the wineries ,and hits the right balance of what the area has to offer. Our guide Danni was terrific and very knowledgeable on the area and wine and wine production. The group was small so we had a more personal experience. We had a very enjoyable day indeed. Would recommend this tour very highly.

Great value tour, passionate guide, beautiful region

Fabulous tour with our informative guide Danny where we visited a farm stay, three wineries, a chocolate shop. The lunch at Olio Belo (the shop has many olive products too) was absolutely delicious. Our guide and the vintners were passionate about this beautiful region, and the small tour bus of nine people made it an intimate and very fun trip.

Perfect mix of experiences & wine

We had a phenomenal day with Dani, he's an excellent guide and really packed the day with interesting places. Unlike previous tours we've been on we hardly wasted any time on the bus - thoroughly recommended.

What a great tour, from pickup to drop off, we had an awesome day. Danni our driver and guide was great. Very knowledgeable about wine and the local area of Margaret river. All of the places we were taken were great. And lunch was superb.

Taste the treats

This tour was fantastic. It explored the area a bit, gave you a taste of some locally produced products, wines and chocolate to finish with. What a fabulous day!! The guide was very knowledgeable and easy going.

Well balanced day to see a little of everything Margaret River has to offer. We got to feed some alpacas, saw some boutique wineries and ended the day with a little chocolate delight. Also our tour guide Dani was a legend If you have time for one tour this is the one

We had a great day out with Danny. He was extremely knowledgable and chatty. Great stops all the way with a wonderful balance of experiences through Margaret River. Certainly several hidden gems.

An excellent experience all round!

The booking process was easy, Ziggy called to answer some questions that I had regarding vegan food options and assisted with making the booking. Our tour guide Dani was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and clearly loves his job and the Margaret River area. He shared lots of local information and stories. We loved the variety that the Hidden Gems tour offered. A nice change from a standard wine tour. Would definitely recommend this company if you are looking for a tour in Margaret River.

Brilliant tour, and a nice small group

That was fun! One of the wineries was amazing so we now order 2 boxes a year! Was great to visit other places in addition to the wineries. Our guide knew the area and people really well so was able to answer all our questions and give us so much info and unknown facts!! Wholeheartedly recommend!!

Great Margaret River visit

Had a good time on the Margaret River tour. Interesting vineyards. Dani was a great tour guide who went out of his way to be helpful. When we had a bit of extra time, he added a stop with a great view. One of the guests had trouble with stairs and he drove the van around so the guest could participate in the event.

Best way to spend a day in Margaret River!

What an amazing tour! We had Dani for our tour guide who was so knowledgeable on the history of margaret river and the art of wine making and tasting and such good energy which was an added bonus! The tour included abit of everything, we fed some animals, indulged in delicious food and learnt so much at each winery. It was a small tour group of 6 which was much preferable, we all got to know each other throughout the day which was lovely.

Such an enjoyable day!

My Mom and I thoroughly enjoyed our day starting with alpaca and emu feeding, then scones and coffee conveniently at the Margaret River Hideaway & Farmstay accommodation where we were staying. Then off to Cowaramup for some chocolate tastings followed by an incredible lunch at Olio Bello (highly recommend the prosciutto pizza or baked Camembert for lunch, then browsing some pestos, olive oils, and olive tapenades to take home). Afterwards we enjoyed 3 amazing wine tasting experiences. Our guide Danny was sweet, knowledgeable and very attentive throughout. We loved our fellow tour patrons - a great bunch of kiwis. Thanks also to Ziggy for confirming the timing of pickup and discussing general details beforehand. Would definitely recommend this tour. We’d do it again, we had such a wonderful experience!!

Fantastic wine tour and day trip

Fantastic tour! We booked this as part of our honeymoon and Danny our tour guide was fantastic. This was a great mix of not just wine tasting but seeing some other areas of Margaret River too, the vineyards we visited were all fantastic and all very different. Lunch was also very good. A great tour that I would absolutely recommend!

Emu’s, Scones & Wine, Wine Wine

Great day out, plenty of variety, starting with feeding Alpacas & Emus (no Rod Hull or Micheal Parkinson required 😉), followed by Scones and coffee to fortify the humans for the day ahead. After a quick stop at Chocolate/Coffee/Tea & Spices shop, we did 3 boutique wineries around MR as well as lunch amongst the Olive groves. Great wines, good food, great company and knowledgeable guide, thanks Dani and Ziggy. Hasta Luego!

Great selection of vineyards and great tourguide. On top, food especially scones and coffee in the morning were very delicious.

Had a great day touring Margaret River with Ziggy. Very knowledgeable about the local area and businesses. Food was delicious and winery tours and tastings were educational as well as palate pleasing. Thoroughly recommend this tour as a way to appreciate the local region's artisans and small family businesses.

This small group tour was magic. I was made feel like a real person not just a number of the group. The whole experience was above my expectation. The broad range of experiences made it fun and the tour guides knowledge gave a great insite to the places we visited. Would highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic Margaret River food and wine tour

Ziggy was a great host who is passionate about local produce and sustainable practices. The farm bit at the beginning was thoroughly enjoyable as we fed alpacas and emus and had home made scones. It was good to have something more than wine tasting. Chocolates and olive oil was great and we had the pasta options for lunch - delicious!!

This was an easy and enjoyable day of good food and good wine with Dan as our guide. He was very informative of the processes the wineries used and shared his love of the Margaret River region.

A great variety of experiences, with suitable time at each stop. Tour guide Danny was very personable and had an extensive knowledge of the region. Lunch at Olio Bello, using their own produce, was delicious. The presentations at the first and third wineries were thorough, extensive and delivered in a cheerful and professional manner, with no pressure to purchase (though we did). Would thoroughly recommend this tour!!

Fantastic tour, even with children

This tour was fantastic. We did it early in our stay to MR. Our tour guide Danny was fantastic! We loved connecting to local, small, quality businesses. We loved the farm visit for the kids and the wineries were absolutely fantastic. We got a history of the region and felt more oriented for our stay in the region. Highly recommend! Our kids are 8y and 10y, for reference.

An absolutely great time

Experience We had a blast touring 3 Margaret River vineyards, a farm, and a chocolate / coffee shop. We were a party of 6 friends, and it was an absolute breeze as our guide was so on the ball getting us from one point to another on time. The highlight for us were the vineyards, particularly After Hours, whose owner (Warrick Mathews) very informatively and entertaingly took us through a flight of his wines. Come for this tour expecting great company and a magnificent showcase of the produce Margaret River has to offer. Tour guide On the topic of company, this review wouldn't be complete without a special shout-out to our guide for the day, Daniel (or Danni for short). From the moment Danni picked us, he was warm and accommodating, and passionate about all things Margaret River. We couldn't have asked for a better guide for the day!

Great full day Margaret River experience and some nice wines

Nice tour, I was asked to switch to the all day instead of half day due to numbers. I was a little sceptical of the llama and emu feeding, but it was fun (and scones were yummy). My favourite winery was the last one, RedGate. A thoroughly entertaining tasting by Ray, with a generous number of wines to try. I wish I’d bought a bottle at this one instead of the one before, but hey ho. Ziggy was a great host and was knowledgeable and informing throughout the day. I’d strongly recommend someone else driving on any tasting and this fitted the bill perfectly for me. Highly recommended! Thanks Ziggy

Fantastic tour of the region

We really enjoyed this tour. We learnt lots about the region, we got to sample some amazing wine & produce and we had a fabulous lunch. Our guide Dani was fantastic, he knows the region so well and his knowledge of wine making made the tour that much more special. He really went the extra mile to make sure everyone had a great time. Margaret River wine tour

We had a great day starting with a farm visit with coffee and scones followed by lovely boutique wineries, chocolate shop and delicious lunch. I can recommend the gnocchi. Our tour guide Danny was so knowledgeable and kept us entertained all day. I came home with lots of gifts.
