Excellent tour of Northern Wales

It was an excellent tour with an excellent tour guide. Lee was fantastic. Great tour for solo or couples. I think my only gripe would be that the bus seats were rather small.

A mesmerising experience of peace and tranquility in the mysteries of Nature

It was a fabulous trip to the North Wales with Lee our guide and driver who made it more interesting by his narratives of various places. I was enchanted by the mesmerising scenic beauty of Nature in all its grandeur with spectacular views of the majestic mountains and the vibrant greenery across the entire journey. The highlight of the entire journey culminated with the beautiful Conwy mountains and the surrounding fresh breeze which gets you soaked into another planet so to speak. The best part of this trip was it being a small compact group of 15-16 people and Lee engaging each one of us to make us comfortable and relaxed.

Mesmerising

Words and pictures will never do this tour right. It is absolutely captivating from the beginning to the end. We had Lee as our driver, honestly the most passionate and safe driving guide I have ever encountered. He makes the whole tour feel way shorter because of the excitement and feeling he puts behind explaining everything around and even adds extras that I am not going to spoil. As for the tour itself, as I said, words will not do it right, you just have to see it. I as supposed to leave Manchester that day but delayed my leave and it was the best decision I ever took. You will not regret taking this tour

Great value for money and first experience in Wales

An awesome day out in north Wales. Shelley was our driver and she kept us entertained and informed as we travelled between fishing villages and Snowdonia National Park.

Had an awesome trip with Lee as our driver. It's crazy how knowledgable about north wales he is. I definitly learnt a lot over the course of the day. I hghly recommend this tour as an intro to the beauty that is north wales! The only slight letdown as the tour bus itself, it was a bit rundown with signs of water leakage.

Beautiful and Worth It!

A real "taste" the North of Wales

This is a lovely daily trip that will give you a real "taste" of the North of Wales. Personally, I was worried to stay too many hours in the bus but it's really perfectly organized: not too long, lots of super interesting stops with a nice (funny and relaxing) storytelling during the driving. So, on the contrary, time flies. It gives you the opportunity to see & discover interesting historical and cultural details of this lovely region that you may never get it otherwise/travelling on your own. And this year the Oscar Nomination goes to.....🥁....Lee! Thank you Lee for your passion! The funniest & the safer driver ever!

A real taste of the North of Wales

We really loved this experience! This daily trip will give you the opportunity to really "taste" the North of Wales. The tour is perfectly organized from a timing point of you, it touches different interesting places and the driver's company is really lovely! Relaxing storytelling full of history & instresting details that we would never discovered on our own. And this year, a special Oscar nomination goes to.....the wild & safe....Lee!!!!!

Perfect Day Trip!

I had a great tour with Frank this weekend! The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed a great day driving through the countryside. Frank was very knowledgable and gave us a lot of information about the history of the places we were visiting. It was a great balance of fun and informational, he had a great sense of humour that made the long day not seem very long! I was entertained the whole way. Additionally the bus itself was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this tour to others, was definitely worth it

Definitely worth your money!

I went on this trip and was amazed at how much I saw. Not only during the bus ride but also at stops. Our assigned tourguide's passion about Wales and it's history came in handy as he had so much to tell us all about. He went above and beyond to make everyone on the bus feel comfortable and give us as much information about everything as possible. He even kept us entertained when we had a longer drive between stops. All the stops were worth it and you definitely get your money's worth on this trip.

Jerry and his laugh made for the best day

Jerry was our guide for the day and just fantastic, his laugh was so infectious, he was very knowledgeable and made our day one to remember!!! Would definitely recommend a tour with him.

Fantastic. Wish I'd done this sooner

Lee was a fantastic guide, really knowledgeable and made us feel at ease throughout. Really packed in a lot in a short space of time. Had enough time in every place, we went to. Conwy was brilliant place with some great views. Aqueduct, Snowdonia were also great. Been to these places before but we had a great look once again. You won't regret booking. If anyone is posting any poor reviews from the 18th of April trip, DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THEM! They were extremely rude throughout, making noise while our guide was speaking and refusing to wear their seatbelts amongst other things. Lee was a wonderful professional and you'll be in great hands on his tour.

Beautiful Location noisy Bus

Wales is beautiful. This was a fantastic visit and a good overview of Northern Wales and I believe of some of the traditional stories told by our guide (the guide was difficult to hear over the noise coming from underneath the bus) The pickup location was not very clear to me. The bus station is easy to find but where to go is not marked. The bus being 15 min late also didn’t help. I sat at the wrong end of the station and luckily saw people filing out the door to the Busy Bus. The tour itself goes to great locations. The smaller size group we had also made it easier. Even with the wind and the rain we had, the journey was well worth it. I would recommend you study up on the little towns so you have an idea on what you want to see or do before taking the tour.

Wales here we come...

We decided to do a quick day trip to Wales and booked this tour. Lee our safe driver was amazing. Always safe , always engaging and most informative. The tour is well spaced out and allows for enough time to achieve all your goals. Highly recommend this one if you want a taste of Wales.

Worthy of a second trip!

I take a lot of viator tours, and believe me when I say this was up there as one of the best ones I've been on. Jerry was quite literally the most knowledgeable, most personable, most accommodating, funniest, the list goes on - but did I say most knowledgeable? - tour guide that I have had in a hot minute. I would take him around the UK with me in a heartbeat just to hear his stories and history facts! I will be recommending this tour to anyone I know who is going to the Manchester or Chester area. In case your guide doesn't point it out, in Conwy you can in fact get a Wales stamp in your passport!

A must do!

What a fun tour and experience to North Wales!! Frank, our guide was so amazing making the ride super enjoyable. I couldn't help but look out for Black Sheep throughout my stay in the UK as soon as green fields start hahah.

Terrible

I booked this trip through trip advisors on 3-8-24, conditions did state that cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance. About 15 hours before the trip was scheduled to state I received an email that the trip has been canceled. I was given option to reschedule or book a different trip but neither of these options are possible in my situation. The email stated otherwise, to contact TripAdvisor for refund., There is no phone number and no way to email TripAdvisor. If there is they make is purposely obscure. Thus I given both the tour company, and especially TripAdvisor the lowest possible score I can

Great Way to see North Wales!

This bus trip is a great way to get a taste of North Wales. Frank the driver was very knowledgeable and engaging! He got the group involved in several ways and even took group photos for us! Unfortunately, the weather was super foggy in the morning so our views of the mountains were blocked (which often happens this time of year). But it cleared up later in the day! The stops to visit Glyder Au valley and the city of Conwy was worth the entire day - Beautiful sites!!

Breathtaking views

Lovely day in North Wales. So many breathtaking views. I loved especially the short walk in the nature in Snowdonia. There was some mist, which did not harm the experience, on the contrary it made it even more magical. Frank was a great guide. Thanks a lot!

Frank was the best tour guide I've ever had the pleasure to travel with. He was warm, funny, and kept us engaged with pop quizzes throughout the tour. In addition, his wealth of knowledge is impressive. We had a really good time learning the history of the sites and exploring each stop within the given timeframe. Highly recommended tour! A great option for solo travelers!

I booked this trip as a way to see some of the countryside on a very short trip with limited time for relaxing. I adore Wales and am always excited to see new areas and this was an absolutely perfect excursion. Shelly, our guide was really mindful of giving us great tidbits of history as we travelled while also giving us plenty of quiet time to relax and unwind between stops. I was on my own and felt perfectly comfortable touring all the locations by myself. It was lovely to have the peaceful walks around so many lovely places without the hassle of driving there myself. Truly will use this company again. I am not generally as keen on group tours but this has changed my tune. Solo travellers will find this an easy, relaxing and fun way to explore this gorgeous region!

Beautiful views and fun guide

Gerrit was incredible as a tour guide. Very informative and fun. The view from the bus was amazing, and he could go slower when we saw wild horses, and even stop so we could take pictures of the horses. We could not go see the aqueduct because it was closed, but we did another stop instead of that one, as well as a small tour through Chester. It was so fun. We could stop at the Conwy castle and we got tickets for it. The stop is a bit short for the castle so if you want to see it, you should not waste time and go spend the entire hour there. Also, if you bring your passport, they'll be able to stamp it in Conwy with the Wales stamp! Nice and free souvenir. Gerrit also has the best food recommendations for the stops. I'd definitely recommend the tour.

Great Day in North Wales

Castles, sheep (and more sheep), alpine villages, beach resort town, lakes, and Snowdonia! I can't say what was best because it was all so great.

Excellent !

Jerry was a wonderful guide and driver . The family enjoyed ourselves thoroughly as he showed us the places in our trip and also shared with us his vast information and knowledge . Everything was smooth and went absolutely well !

We enjoyed seeing the countryside, viewing Conwy castle and the crazy rainstorm at Ogwen. Shelley was a great guide and shared many interesting stories.

A day trip with friend

It was good. However, we didn't have much time to take photos. And we were expecting to take photos with sheeps, but due to time constraint so we couldn't take.

The sunset in llandudno was stunning. I loved seeing the Alice in Wonderland statues. Also, words can’t give justice to the beauty of Snowdonia.

MAGICAL North Wales Bus Tour

SPECTACULAR North Wales adventure bus tour with BusyBus. Shelly our guide and driver greeted us at the Manchester airport upon our arrival and set the tone right from the beginning, she was friendly knowledgable and highly professional. Shellys background, and experience proved to be an asset as she was able to engage very well with the entire group. The variety of stops that we had, such as viewing the long boats on the canals in Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, driving through picturesque Llangollen village, stops in Betws-Y-Coed and stunning lake and waterfall vistas in Llynogwen, continuing on to the the mid evil Conwy Castle and also the picture worthy “smallest house in Great Britain” and finally our conclusion at the lovely seaside town of Llandudno and it’s beautiful Pier. The icing on the cake was Shelly’s ability to pronounce one of the towns we visited with the longest railway station name in the world to perfection, you will have to do the tour to find out what this is all about ! From start to finish, the day was glorious and the views were spectacular on this clear blue sky and sunny day ! Wales is truly a STUNNING and MAGICAL Country!

When you are only in the...

When you are only in the area a short time, this is the way to go. They really hit the highlights and despite it being only a day, I still felt like I was on an adventure. Frank was very friendly and fun.

Traffic congestion…

Some traffic congestion did not allow us to enjoy the full package, but Shelly, our driver and guide was great!

Red Dragon Adventure

Fun filled adventure to a mythical place, beautiful nature and historical landscape. Absolutely stunning and perfect destination for a holiday trip.

Beautiful and off the beaten path

Our guide was very informative and found the of the way places. The roads are so narrow and was glad to not be driving for sure. Stunning views and stops at quaint villages along the way. My only regret was not having booked a longer trip!

Must See!

Absolutely a highlight of our England and Wales tour. Playing trivia along the way made the driving fun and we learned a lot. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to learn more about Northern Wales from a local perspective; the best fish and chips, the best cakes, etc.

A fun filled day in North Wales

Superb guide (Shelly). Fun filled day pack with varied experiences from a Victorian seaside resort to a medicinal castle from the 13 century to the natural beauty of Snowdonia. Great stories and advice from Shelly. Some amicable group. Well worth your time and money.

An okay tour with bad meeting point

Very nice tour wales is great to visit and enjoy the scenery The castle was good We got many stops for beautiful pictures, my only negative is the meeting and drop point Is far from the center and on the day of my tour due to rail strike !no trains where to be found for a return back so I had to take taxi which cost me extra.

Excellent tour of North Wales with Busy Bus & Gery!

I had an excellent day with Gery on the North Wales Busy Bus tour. Pick up from Manchester Int Airport was easy (at time of writing bay A) and we kicked off on time to Chester. From there the tour started. Gery was much more than an excellent bus driver, he made us feel welcomed, safe, and provided fun and informative conversation for the tour. We were blessed with a sunny day, but I’m sure it was stand up in any weather. North Wales is beautiful, and this tour led by Gery was fantastic! Enough time during the day to get off the bus for photos, food and exploring. Highly recommend.
