We had an amazing time on the Segway tour around Retiro Park in Madrid. The tour was well-organised and provided a unique and fun way to explore the park. Our tour leader was very friendly and knowledgeable, offering interesting insights about the various areas we visited. Before we started, we received some basic training on how to ride the Segway, which made us feel comfortable and confident. The Segways were very easy to ride and added an extra layer of excitement to our sightseeing. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Retiro Park in a fun and informative way.

Great break from walking

Very fun and beautiful ride through the park with a little history thrown in. Great break from all the walking around the city. Love how u can cover so much ground.

Fun and easy to do

First time riding a Segway and thought it was excellent ! We did the 1 hour tour of Retiro and it was just enough. The guide was great, took lots of pictures of us while riding, was knowledgeable about the park and ensured we were safe. The park is huge and we would not have visited all of it, had we not been on a Segway.

Highly recommend this tour!!!

Great instruction on how to operate the segways for our family group of four beginners. Christelle was our guide and she did a fantastic job of conducting our tour in both English and French for our family and another family in our tour group. It’s a fun and great quick way to tour the highlights of El Retiro Park. I highly recommend this tour company to see the park as there are other Segway tour companies but they are located further from the park and you have to negotiate your Segway through the city streets before you even make it to El Retiro. With this tour company, you entire time is spent in the park on the segways.

Alan was an excellent guide/teacher for our Segway tour and he is obviously very passionate about Madrid!

Segway tour around the city

We had an hour long trip around the historic part of the city. We had the pleasure of Alan to give a brief history of various landmarks including the Royal Palace. Although we were on roads for some parts of the tour, it is a very safe route for all. Would definitely recommend and next time we visit will opt for the 2-hour tour to see more of Madrid.

Best day out in Madrid

Fantastic tour from start to finish. Our guide Alan was first class and kept us all thoroughly entertained Had never set foot on a seaway before but his patience and explanation had us zooming round the park in no time Don't miss this if you're in Madrid - great fun and best way to see the park

So fun

Promised the younger teen we would do something that interested him and that was being able to ride a Segway. We had a great time with our guide exploring the Retiro Park. Had a quick intro on how to operate the Segway and off we went. We explore 5 locations and were given great detail and history about the park. Teens had a great time operating the Segways and even my clumsy self was able to operate the Segway without any issues.

Need a refund

Badly organized, could not find where to meet. I asked for a refund and still haven’t gotten back about it

Fun hour tour

Tour started 15 minutes late but they made it up on the back end and were friendly and helpful. Tour helped us cover more ground in the park, but I’d probably just walk it all or the Crystal Palace another time.

Segway in El Retiro Park

What a way to see the park. Very friendly guide and so accommodating. If you are pressed for time this is highly recommended. Fantastic value for money. What a beautiful city Park.

The Perfect Way to See Retiro Park

I did the Segway tour of Retiro Park with Cristel. This park is huge with fountains, statues, gardens, a lake and a crystal palace. It would have been impossible to see as much of the park in one hour on foot. Cristel shared lots of history about the park and face it, riding on a Segway is just fun! I recommend this tour.

We have segwayed in cities all over the world and this was the best - retiro park is perfect for riding - our guide was great - lots of info but lots of riding time - just a great experience!!! Never could have walked the whole park

I truly think the best...

I truly think the best way to see Retiro Park if you have limited time in Madrid is on a Segway! The tour itself was really great - I do wish we would have stopped for pictures a little bit along the way, and maybe gotten slightly more history about the park, but I understand that the tour is very quick (only an hour) and they want to show us the most they can and let us ride the Segways. Zipping through the park on a sunny day is quite a memory. We did stop at the main points like the Crystal Palace and the lake! Overall, the tour was well-organized and fun, and I highly recommend it!

Fantastic tour on the Segway. A lovely and scenic way to tour the city. It was my first time in Madrid so it was a nice way to see the sights at ground level, rather than being driven around. You also get a better sense of direction and bearing. A great taster from which you can explore the landmarks in better detail yourself.

Great way to see Retiro Park quickly

We chose to do a segway tour of Retiro so that we could see a lot of the park in our limited time in Madrid. We were there on a day that the heat was going to close the park early, but they made sure we would get our full tour in and we did! We really appreciated that care! The tour itself was fun and detailed. We visited many spots in the park and heard very interesting stories about the various areas. We recommend this tour and can't wait to explore Retiro on our own.

Would definitely do it again

We had a great time. It was very warm outside and being on the Segway was great. We visited the El Retiro park and were able to see a lot in one hour. Raphael was our guide and he was nice and patient to teach us the basics before heading for the tour. They accommodated us with a buggy pulled by the guide for our small built 9 YO daughter which was great as she was afraid to ride the Segway. We would definitely do it again except we would chose the longer tour.

Great tour of a beautiful park. The kids said they could have done another hour at least. Will come back in the springtime to see all the blooms.

Fun way to get around

Really great way to spend a couple of hours. The Segways are fun and its a brilliant way to see the park. The guide was very patient with the youngest who was a little nervous to get on. Also some very interesting facts about various monuments throughout the park. A very enjoyable time.

Best sageway tour in Madrid

It is the best way to see Ratiro in July and Alan the guide was excellent, with very interesting stories about the park. We all had great time. Highly recommended!!!

Fun, cooler way to see the park

Miguel gave a wonderful Segway tour of Retiro Park. He was personable and knowledgeable. Segways made the tour so much better in the hot weather, and several people asked where they could rent them. It was so beautiful and so much fun!

Good one if not done Segway before

If you have not done segways before, then it’s a good thrill. But if you have done Segway before then gets boring as speed is very slow due to cops around. Plus your can be completed in 30-40 mins, the one hour is quite a stretch. Nice team and people who try and keep things interesting

Must do activity!

Such a fun experience exploring Retiro Park by Segway. Definitely a unique and fun way to see the whole park. Our tour guide, Miguel, was fantastic and even recommended some eateries and things to do while in Madrid. This is a very creative and inexpensive activity for everyone.

Great tour of the park. It’s quick, but the price is right. It’s a great introduction to the park. We walked it after the tour, and it was perfect! Our guide was great. We really enjoyed it! I should also note that our guide gave us some great recommendations.

Excellent experience

As a solo traveler I thought this activity was for groups, I was wrong my host was excellent gave me time to become comfortable with the Segway then off we went. A lovely park, without my host knowledge and experience I would have not seen what I did. Lots of information about the park, plenty of photo opportunities. Don’t think book just book it you will not regret it. 😁

Meet at storefront not park entrance!

A little confused on where to meet so has to walk 10 minutes to the store front. Guide went pretty quick. Family enjoyed it.
