A Madrid Must Do

This was one of the best tours we have been on, in large part due to the knowledge and passion of our guide. In all honesty I went in rather anti bullfighting and just wanted to see the stadium and hear the history. By the end I wanted to buy tickets and see one. We did learn a tremendous amount of history, saw matadors in trading, took a lot of photos, saw how they were preparing the ring and what happens to the bulls after the fights. There is a small chapel there we got to see. All in all a great experience.

Great Arena worth a visit

We really enjoyed ventas and its cafes and restaurants after the horrendous time we had had in museo de jamon in peurto del sol near the 4 Victoria Hotel,there food upstairs was rotten,the girls where lovely but the manager wearing glasses was horrible he gave my fresh paella 🥘 to his freinds and gave us a rotten one we will never go there again,and this is the only place I have ever given a bad review too.they are nasty and everyone should Avoid this dump.make your own mind up here are some pictures of a fresh one from Arabball restaurant in playa de mayor Square try them there wonderful

Amazing place

We been in this lovely place few days ago. The tour was amazing, our tour guide Jaime a lovely guy. He explained , showed us everything so well . We spent a lovely time with him. On the end of the tour we got gift . I can recommend to visit this place . Thanks Jaime 😊.

Even if you don't enjoy bullfighting, it's still worth the trip.

A very spectacular location, both in terms of size and impact. It is also worthwhile to go around the first level to get a sense of the arena and its vistas. The acoustics are also fantastic. Even if you don't enjoy bullfighting, it's still worth the trip.

Not for the faint of heart

Incredible experience, but not for the faint of heart. If your an over the top animal lover, you may want to skip this event. My family & I had never been to a bullfight & really didn’t know what to expect. We found out in short order that this is pretty brutal. The stone hard seats are very uncomfortable, so splurge on seat cushions when you go.

Carlos was a terrific guide! He was extremely knowledgeable, patient and entertaining. Our group of four had a fantastic time!

That’s a Scam

That show was a scam. We went to the arena and they didn’t even know that there was a reservation. We went to Madrid especially for the show and that experience ruined the whole day and left a very bad flavor in our mouth for the rest of the trip. The workers at the arena were so empathetic and gave us a free audio device to roam the arena on our own.

Brutal and cruel

We visited the arena in April. The arena is beautiful but the bullfighting was utterly aweful. We weren't prepared for the brutality of the fight, would never visit a show like that again. It is cruel and unnessecary!

Super interesting! We learned about the bullfighting world and the experience was very dynamic and entertaining Our guide Guillermo was excellent!

Un rodeo al estilo mudéjar

Un bello toreo de estilo mudéjar de 1929 en donde pasaron los mejores toreros del mundo, pero si es una extraordinaria construcción, es solamente el tercer rodeo más grande del mundo después de la monumental Plaza de Toros de México (ya cerrada por las presiones de los grupos protectores de animales) y de la de Sevilla. Un lugar imperdible en particular su excelente museo.

Sehenswert und einmalig

Ausgezeichnetes Erlebnis für die ganze Familie, man sollte sich für die Besichtigung der Stierkampf Arena ungefähr ein bis 2 Stunden Zeit nehmen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, man darf selbst Fotos machen kann dort auch Fotos zehn Euro käuflich erwerben. Im Zuge der Besichtigung sieht man die gesamte Arena, von den Zuschauerrängen über den Kampfplatz selbst.

Wow

Wow wat een rondleiding. Het allerbeste deel ervan was onze geweldig aanstekelijke tourguide Raúl. Onze groep bestond uit een aantal kritische mensen maar hij speelde heel vlot op ons in! Beste gids ooit!

Increíble visita guiada a las Ventas

Hicimos un tour guiado por Guillermo en la Plaza. Nos enseñó demasiado y sobre que, el mundo taurino es mucho más complejo de lo que parece. Fue interactivo y salimos con muchas más ganas de volver a la Plaza. Es un guía que hace que tengas interés en el mundo taurino, que quieras entrometerte mucho más. Increíble. Lo recomendaría sin dudar a todos los que quieran visitar la plaza. No hay mejor inversión que contratar a un guía particular. Así se vive la experiencia.
