I took my twin 12 year olds and 14 year old. We had an amazing time. It was very beautiful landscape and a great travails ride.

It was absolutely amazing! Mariano was extremely nice and welcoming. He gave great instructions for beginners and was very patient. The experience was well worth it and I would do it again in a heart beat!

First time on horse, very gentle one; need to listen carefully on how to handle the horse; guide was very good in handling the horses; great weather and scenery. Though I was in Madrid, he provide some options in getting there which was fine.

Marino was very thorough in explaining how to handle the horses and what to do. The views were exceptional and overall great experience. Had plenty of time to take several pictures and videos of the experience! Thank you for an amazing time!

A perfect nature excursion

It was a fun experience! Mariano was attentive, helpful, professional and skilled with the horses. We started in Madrid for our trip and this was a perfect opportunity to explore the countryside. Highly recommend!

Amazing Horseback guided tour

Excellent guided horse ride!! Horses seemed happy and well taken care of. The owner/ tour guide was funny and friendly, always attentive and caring to the whole group and the horses. Location was simple to find by car, and fellow visitors who took the bus also found it easy to get there. All instructions were perfectly clear and understandable. 5/5, 10/10!

Great activity.

This was a really nice activity. The horses were very calm and the view was amazing. This is on private land by a sole proprietor but was great. The owner arranged an Uber driver who picked us up and dropped us off. Great pictures too.

A relaxing riding tour in beautiful nature.

My son and I enjoyed this calm horse riding tour in the mountains with Mariano. It was truly relaxing and enjoyable and the view is fantastic. Mariano was very accomodating and friendly.

Amazing!

This was such a great experience!!! Unfortunately, the day we went was foggy but even with the fog it was still a beautiful view in the mountains. I can only imagine what it would be like if we had a clear day. Mariano was very kind and helpful. He obviously cares a lot about his horses and your safety so he will make sure you know what to do. Due to it being in the mountains, I think this may be intimidating if you’ve never ridden a horse before, but if you have, even as a more beginner level rider, you’ll be fine. I highly recommend this experience. It’s amazing!

Very pleasant trail ride with good horses

Highly recommend for a perfect break from the city . Both my daughter and I have experience riding and we thought these horse were calm and very well kept. Mariano had everything ready on time for a comfortable ride and guided us with good conversation thru a trail of beautiful views. Our native language is Spanish but Mariano constantly spoke in English during the trip so our riding mate, another guest which was not fluent in Spanish ,would not miss any details of the trip. I am planning to do a 2 or 3 day trip with Mariano after this doing this ride with him .

Great trip with super care of the horses

Wonderfull trip with my friends in beautiful surroundings. Very safe trip with a awesome focus on taking care of the horses. No doubt that the Well being of the horses are most important as they are free to move around during the day and night. Absolutly recommend this trip to people who like horses and riding.

First time taking on an experience like this, Mariano was very kind and reassuring that all would be well… gave us pre riding instructions and made sure that everyone was comfortable around the horses. Definitely will do it again and would like to return some time in the spring of next year.

Fun ride in the mountains

Very relaxing experience in the mountains with incredible views. Beautiful, well-trained horses and the instructor speaks English, which is a huge plus. I really enjoyed the ride and it was a small group with only 2 riders + Mariano. I would definitely do it again!

Great half riding with Mariano who is a knowledgeable and experienced guide. Great to get out of Madrid for a day and experience the breathtaking countryside and spectacular views. Would highly recommend.

Besides its a unique opportinity to experiance nature so close,Mariano the operator before we arrived near the horses,he asks ever rider their experiance with horse riding. Spectacular Views

This was such an amazing experience with the views and background information that Mariano gave. His horses are very beautiful. They definitely all have their own personality! I would definitely do this again. The excursion did not feel like 2 hours though, it felt shorter, but still very nice experience. You can tell that he cares for peoples safety. His tone might make people feel some type of way, so if you’re sensitive and easily offended, this either might not be for you or just stop it because he’s only caring for your safety and the horses safety, assuring you are following his guidelines. Some climbs and down steps are really steep so if you have problems with heights, this isn’t for you. I would suggest you ride a horse a couple times before doing this as your first time riding. Also, no backpacks are allowed so be mindful on how you pack. Mariano does allow storage for your bags in his car or shed as well as there’s little side bags on the horses saddle. Definitely dress for the occasion. Don’t wear any sneakers you don’t want to get dusty. Don’t forget you’re in control of the horse!

Wonderful way to view Madrid

Mariano was wonderful! I had a great time and met some wonderful people. It’s a different experience going into nature on horseback. It was so beautiful, we saw almost the whole way around his mountain. Would highly recommend to anyone, Families, couples, solo travelers, anyone.

Beautiful scenery

Fantastic experience - the scenery is breathtaking (inc Valley of the Fallen) and the horses very well behaved and skilled at going up and downhill! Guide sends very clear instructions on how to get there and will pick you up and drop you off at the bus stop. I wouldn't recommend the hack for a very nervous beginner - horses are very safe and will just walk happily but it is steep and there are no lead ropes so I would say go on a horse at least once before doing this! Unless you are a confident person who likes trying new things. 100% would do again.

Great tour

This was a great way to experience the nature, highly recommended. It’s easy to get to from Madrid by bus following the guide’s instructions. Previous experience with horseback riding isn’t necessary, as Mariano will instruct you and pick an appropriate horse for you based on experience.

One of our highlights in Spain, must do.

The pictures don't make justice to how beautiful the scenery was. Being up in the mountains looking at nature, and the city at the same time was surreal. We are as beginners as it gets but Mariano took well care of us, we felt safe and in good hands throughout the ride, the horses were carefully selected based on everyone's levels. We took Mariano's suggestion for his Uber contact, which was a 100 Euro round trip to the city center, significantly cheaper than a taxi or Uber app, another couple that took public transport had no complaints about it, so you can save that money if you don't mind using public transport. This was definitely an experience that we'd do many times over. Thanks, Mariano!

An incredible experience. The trail and view were amazing. Great for both beginner and experienced riders. The service was great, we were picked up and dropped of at the bus station.

Worth the trip!

Mariano takes great care of you from responsive replies, to uber connections door to door to the trek itself where he gives you the history fun fact tour! The horses are healthy and the scenery is breath taking, it's worth the 30min trip outside of town. Our group was mostly beginners but Mariano did give the experienced riders space at the end to get up some speed which wad very considerate and appreciated 😀 This was the highlight of my trip! 🐎

Beautiful scenery, calm horses.

We were connected with an uber driver to and from our hotel, which made it super convenient. Mario, our tour guide really seemed to love his horses. The Spanish countryside was beautiful, and our horses were perfect for our level..... very beginner. I was at ease the whole time, no fear of the horses running, etc. They were all very calm. It was a wonderful experience.

Wonderful family adventure

Wonderful experience. Mariano took very good care of us from beginning to the end . Would recommend the transport arrangements Mariano has with Uber to get there, especially if you’re staying at central Madrid.

Excellent horse riding experience

Amazing experience. Took the bus from central madrid (took exactly one hour as the guide described Google is WRONG) just follow his instructions and you will get there no problem! Bus is 5.10 euro each way and you need cash. Once we got there we saw the horses were healthy and well kept and the scenery was amazing! I struggles a bit as it was only my third time on the horse but the guide gave me directions and tips. It isn’t an easy ride so I don’t recommend for first timers, but my friend who was an experienced rider loved it! My only suggestion is, wear bug spray!!!

Our family of 4 (2 daughters - 16 and 14) rode with Mariano and had an amazing time. It was our first time on a horse and with Mariano’s patience we all succeeded - steep climbs and all. Amazing views of the countryside. Fun fun fun family time. Thanks again!

Incredible!

The most stunning views with a guide who cares so deeply for his horses and his land! Such a unique way to experience the landscape. The horses were veery well trained and knew their way! It may be a lot for cautious first time riders because there are some steep slopes!

High Hills and Wonderful Views, Amazing trail ride!!!

This was an awesome experience! Would definitely recommend for anyone who loves horse riding trails and mountain views. Marianno was great and the horses were wonderful. They were all well trained and calm and patient throughout the ride despite going up and down and all over the hills and to the top of the mountain. Gariano was a fantastic and beautifully black horse! The trails were a mix of dirt roads, rocky pathways, and grassy, bushy uphills. This isn't quite your straight path horse riding trail so if you are afraid of heights or have an inkling to be afraid of horses, maybe think about it more as you will be on top of a horse on top of a high hill. The horses are wonderful, so you don't have to worry about trotting, cantering, or galloping, it's just a leisure walk up and around the hill for the views. Definitely worth the trip! The taxi was great too. It was a set price of 85€ there and back, so definitely should do it if you don't want to navigate the bus system. It is a reasonable price. Hopefully when I have more experience next time I come to Spain I'll definitely do the longer trip if I can.

It was an amazing Trip. Really recommend it! Nice view, cute and calm horses, sympatic guide. For advanced riders and beginners absolutely good. Good instructions for the arrival. Google maps is wrong, trust the owner with the bus instructions. I would book the trip again.

Best part of our trip to Spain - Amazing!

An amazing experience! Mariano was very friendly and funny. The horses had their own personalities. Suitable for all levels, the horses know where they need to go anyway. Amazing views in all directions, including snow capped mountains. Even the shortest ride was beautiful and definitely the best part of our entire trip to Spain. Suitable COVID measures were in place, including hand wipes, and refreshments were provided. Would definitely ride with Mariano again and has left us wanting to try horse riding wherever we go next. Can't thank Mariano enough!

Great riding for all levels with beautiful views

We had an amazing time on this ride. It was a bit chilly, but we got a great ride in none the less. We are experienced riders, however there was brand new riders as well and everyone had a lovely time. The owner was super friendly and very responsive to messages.
