Excellent “typical” Spanish experience

Excellent show!! The dancers, singer, and guitarist were passionate and very talented! Extremely prompt upon arrival and knew exactly where to seat us based on our reservation. Booked this show based on other high reviews and it did not disappoint! A little further away from the central area but extremely easy to find via metro (Príncipe Pío).

Beautiful show with amazing talented performers. Authentic tablao experience away from touristy areas. Locals go here. Includes a drink and a snack. Would go again and again.

Great first time flamenco show

The wait staff were responsive and dancers were very emotional. It was a small venue and a great experience! Book it if you are looking for a flamenco show in Madrid!!

Authentic and intimate Flamenco

In this venue, the Spanish word temple translates into temperament, a force that knocks you over. Sala Temple is a small, intimate club where you can hear Flamenco guitar, singing & dancing up close and personal. It’s a welcome change from the big, touristy establishments. At Temple Sala, you can have a drink or some tapas. It’s walking distance from Temple Debod. At the right time of the year, you can see the Flamenco performance and also catch the amazing sunset overlooking Madrid along with many locals who are camped out on blankets and sharing a bottle of wine.

Amazing flamenco experience at Sala Temple

I researched many flamenco options in Madrid and I'm so pleased that I opted for Sala Temple. The performance was amazing and exceeded expectation! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the performers...wow! We were transfixed for an hour by their incredible artistry. There was a guitarist, singer, and two dancers (a third joined the group for the last number). The venue is intimate and there are no bad seats, but we opted to be in the front to be as close as possible (I think it's called zone A). The sangria was delicious and while we didn't eat, other tables looked pleased with their tapas. I won't hesitate to return in the future. 10/10, would recommend.

Artistry to the outmost passionate performance!

A magnificent show of force, pure passion on stage! The musicallity of body and soul is well above artistry like never seen before. Those we call "other" artists can't barely kiss the floor these incredible performerce perform for you!

A taste of flamengo.

A small troupe of performers but they perform well. Evokes emotion and passion. Good value for the price. If you are ordering tapas or if tapas is included with your ticket make sure you received them before the start or immediately after the start of the show otherwise you may not have time to eat them. When the show is finished they immediately start preparing for the next show...no time to finish drinks or eats. Arrive 10- 15 min ahead of the show (no earlier) so you can get seated for ordering.

Interesting to experience on one occasion...

This is a small, intimate venue (approx. 30-40 people) where you, apparently, experience authentic flamenco compared to some of the other performances across Madrid. Based on my experience, it was a good way to kill an hour or so...didn't understand what was happening as I cannot speak Spanish but it was interesting nevertheless. The staff were friendly and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. The part that really confused me was when a member of the bar staff got up and performed flamenco with the main performers towards the end of the show...it felt a bit random and disjointed.

Highly recommend, great fun.

We had an awesome time! The music, singing, dancing, the food and sangria....Mia....it was all perfect. So glad we decided to go with this activity.

The venue was intimate, performers were professional and interacted with audience . No translation in English would have been interested in knowing about history and story of dances and songs . Overall excellent

This Flamenco show was amazing. Great service and value. I would recommend purchasing the ticket that includes a drink and tapas. I highly recommend this venue as it’s small and intimate.

Best Flamenco and Evening!

This was the most amazing experience! The guitarist and singer were so talented it was unbelievable. Same thing for the two dancers. They were incredible! The food and drinks were absolutely delicious and the service was amazing. Our lovely waitress got on stage at the end and did flamenco as well! She was superb! We loved every minute of it! It was a highlight of our time in Spain!

A fun way to spend an hour in Madrid

Beautiful music, singing, and dancing. We only got the 1 drink so I can’t comment on the food, but we were also pleasantly surprised to get chips and nuts to nibble on!

Small intimate venue, great show, very authentic and accomplished performance. Drink prices good, we didn’t have food so cannot comment on that.

Spectacular Flamenco Show

We went to the 7pm show on a friday night. The venue is very intimate, probably sits 20 to 30 people. The show was amazing. All the performers show how much they love to share their culture thru dance and music. The support staff was great too and at the end of the show one of the waitresses joined in a final number on stage. This show is well worth the price you pay.

Really cozy atmosphere,...

Really cozy atmosphere, yummy tapas, and the flamenco dancing was energetic and crowd pleasing. The sangria was also delicious and we had a wonderful evening!

Excellent performance with a surprise twist at the end

Excellent show. Well coordinated between the performers and surprise performance at the end made this worthwhile for both us and the kids. My daughter of five really enjoyed it.

Fantastic show, drinks, and food

The flamenco show was amazing. The hummus plate was delicious and big enough for our party of four. Sangria was refreshing and tasty. Staff is friendly and helpful. Bring your group here when visiting Madrid.

Personal, Passionate, Delicious and not a Tourist Trap!

I thoroughly enjoyed this as my first ever Flamenco and Tapas experience. The room is small and the show was therefore intimate and not full with lots of tourists. The show unlike the bigger Flamenco productions in Madrid was improvised and this meant the Flamenco artists, dancers, singer and guitarist played what they felt like playing and this really showed. Their emotions and passion was electric, I felt it in every bit of my body making this not just a show but an experience. I would 100% recommend and when I return to Madrid I will go again for sure - especially as I am told that every show is different. —————— They waiting/bar staff were so lovely - however if you speak English, they do not, so make sure you have Google translate at the ready! Our ticket included traditional (not touristy) Tapas tasting but the menu was in Spanish. It did not translate well on Google translate! However, I discovered after ordering that if you go onto the Sala Temple website that the full menu is available there in English - and not only the names of the dishes but an explanation of their origin place in Spain and a description of that the dish is! I would 110% recommend this to anyone travelling to Madrid. It was personal, passionate & the tapas was traditional and delicious! Make sure to go early if possible to get a good seat! - Amy, Dublin, Ireland.

Best night in Madrid

The flamenco was incredible, I loved the passion, the attitude of the dancers…both amazing and the music great as well…I really recommend this place. After the flamenco show there was live music, OMG that was unbelievable, the guys were great!!!!

Great Experience! A must go!

That was really a great performance and a terrific experience. Everything very intimate and individual, no mass gathering and above all artistically very successful. I would definitely go again and will definitely come back!

Amazing!

Wow what an experience! Went Sunday 7pm show with my daughter and my Spanish friend who we were visiting. She had a recommendation to this venue by a friend who is a flamenco dancer. Staff were so friendly and engaging with customers. Small intimate venue that really enchanted the experience. Dancing and music was amazing! I felt quite emotional when the dancing started it was so intense. Almost felt like they were performing just for us not the whole room. Highly recommend. Book early and you’ll get seats at the front which I think will give best experience. Enjoy!

A memorable show

Excellent creative and romantic flamenco performance! The show made it a very memorable night in Madrid. This is a smaller intimate venue with 4 people performing. We choose tapas as well and there was a nice authentic menu to select from.

The dancers and singers were incredible! You could tell how much it meant to them to be able to share their passion with the audience. I highly recommend supporting them and enjoying the beautiful art they create every time they get on the stage. 100/100

Best flamenco ever!

Skip the busy touristy flamenco shows and come here! It was an amazing performance that brought tears to my eyes! The singing and dancing was phenomenal and I’d recommend this show to anyone!

Mesmerising. Intimate. Captivating. A must see.

FANTASTIC venue! Easy to find, yet discreet and intimate. Charming and warm hospitality at all times. Beautiful ambience with cabaret style tables glowing with tealight candles. Was completely absorbed as was everyone else there. Felt the music throughout and the dancers and musicians were soooo passionate and true artistes. Food was very tasty, beautifully presented and very generous. Was a real highlight of my trip to Madrid. Thank you! <3 <3 <3

A spontaneous incredible night

We originally booked for another show but it cancelled so we found this one! Let’s say it was fate! It was an incredible night filled with passionate dancers singers and guitarists ! The vibes in the crowd was excellent and the dancers were incredible in their own ways! An experience to never forget and something we can never get from our home town! Excellent price complementary drinks and snacks and the atmosphere was truly one of a kind ! 10:10!

A bit of authentic Spain!

The location is not too characteristic, in line with the style of the big city of Madrid. However, the show was really interesting and engaging. We booked with GetYourGuide a few days before.

Good but both the show and the food need improvement

Very reductive as a show. The dish included in the very low cost. The theater is very small for maximum 30 people. For me, as a vegetarian, a dish of sauce with a lot of onion

Tivemos a oportunidade de ficar em um lugar pertinho do palco, e assim foi incrível poder ver as expressões e o trabalho dos pés dos bailarinos que foram maravilhosos. Quase hipnotizada, saí amais apaixonada pelo Flamenco. O atendimento também é muito bom, Giovana, uma brasileira paulista, assistente que nos atendeu a mesa, muito amável e ainda deu um show a parte ;)

Wonderful! The artists change, the shows are not always the same and that makes each of the performances unique. Wonderful experience. In our case with: Dancers: Elena Ollero and Isaac de los Reyes. (impressive dancers, with a beastly rhythm and a resistance that leaves you speechless). Cante: Antonio "el Pola" (jondo, melodic, pure singing) On guitar: Roberto Monteiro (His rhythm is impeccable, his concentration...his faces while he watches the clicking of his teammates, are also the best) Also, you don't expect that at the end one of the waitresses...(we won't say who) will make a spectacular appearance. The staff treatment is great. The place is very collected, very enveloping. If you order it with dinner and a drink, you snack a little while everything starts. Thank you very much team.

Highly recommended for an evening immersed in the tradition of flamenco

Beautiful experience, extremely immersive in the flamenco tradition. We had a front row seat and had the enormous pleasure of seeing the various shows in all their artistry while sipping a tasty sangria. Highly recommended.

One hundred percent quality!

We all liked the show very much! Both the dancers, the guitarist and the singer are really good. The singer reminded me of Camarón in his singing style. His guitar version of “Pa qué me llamas prima” was spectacular, and then the male and female dancer with that contained strength and that regal sober style. A marvel! Everything is divine. I have seen many flamenco shows and this is one of the best without a doubt. The waitress and the waitress also gave us exquisite treatment. We will return for sure!
