Read carefully as to what is covered

Take care to fully understand what the tour includes - we expected narration on the bus ride down and guides to 3 sites. Neither of those occurred. This activity is good for the bus ride down and back but plan to tour mostly on your own,

Horrible Yellow Bus Tour Operators!

This tour was provided by local yellow tours. They were an hour late! We boarded a bus with sticky floors and a non-working mike. We were transferred to an older bus who stalled twice before leaving the gas station we were taken to outside town. The mike still had a lot of static. The bus stalled twice before exiting in Toledo. Fumes spread all over the road and inside the bus. I was emailed 3 vouchers for entrances and was given a paper one who was no good. We had to visit these on our own. That was not mentioned on the Viator description of the tour. Before we left the tour guide told me to get the Cathedral voucher from the tour guide there. That tour guide told me to wait by the traffic light by the pharmacy. An hour later we left because no one arrived! We couldn’t visit the other sites we paid for they were far, up the hill and we didn’t have time. Horrible tour and tour guides! When we made our way to the pick-up spot about 30 people were left behind to wait for another bus because this bus got full. What a waste of a day! We should get our money back because we missed seeing beautiful Toledo! Do not book this tour!

Excellent tour, but needed better organization.

The trip was excellent, with 2 exceptions. The cathedral tour was in English and Spanish, so it was difficult to follow. It also extended the tour bduration by 1/2 hour, which cut into our free time. The second issue was the return bus to Madrid. Boarding was confusing and pure bedlam. Perhaps there is a more organized way to do this.

So so trip

We had a very difficult time finding the location of the departure. When we finally did after looking for it for 30 minutes, the bus was late 25 more minutes. The city of Toledo is pretty, but so filled with groups of tourists. It made it a bit hard to hear our guide and honestly the tour didn’t really encompass much. However our guide Jesus was very nice.

Very nice day

We drove to Toledo in a comfortable bus, it was full so we were a little concerned at first, but when we got there we were divided in small groups, only 3 of us on our group for the day which worked as a private tour. The guide was excellent, local, knowledgeable and very nice, unfortunately now 10 days passed and we forgot her name. We visited all the main sites with her detailed explanations, had lunch in a very cozy restaurant, including sangria/ wine and 1h or so after lunch to walk around for some souvenirs. A perfect day in a beautiful city. We recommend it.

Toledo day trip

Everything about the day trip and tour was wonderful. Staff at Plaza de Espana was very helpful and bus left on time. We can't say enough wonderful things about our guide, Soroilla ( not sure about spelling). Her explanations in English were very clear. She is very intelligent, knowledgeable and helpful... a delightful person We truly had a marvelous day!

Toledo Trip from Madrid

Loved Toledo - a must see if you are in Madrid. While the guides were very knowledgeable, we were put in the wrong group (1/2 day versus full day) and missed the Cathedral part of the tour and had to go back and view on our own. Advise to make sure you are in the right group when you get to Toledo. Also, if you are over 6' the bus ride from Madrid and back can be very uncomfortable - I'm 6'2" and my knees were up against the seat in front of me - no leg room at all.

Disappointing. Only hit a couple highlights

There’s so much to see and do in Toledo that a person could easily spend a month there, So I understand that an afternoon is just way too short of time to cover the territory. Plus, Our guide spoke very broken English and was hard to understand. In Spain I do not expect that anyone should speak English, UNLESS I pay for a tour in English. We only ended up seeing two churches . I wanted to see Muslim mosque and the Jewish synagogue, But we never even walked by either of those. When the tour ended and I asked the guide for the synagogue, the man pointed. We followed his general direction for about 25 minutes until we finally located the synagogue but by then it was too close to the bus leaving for us to be able to go inside. Before the tour began the guide told us The elevators weren’t working to return down to the bus parking lot so we spent about 15 minutes discussing how we would find our way back to the buses, which was very difficult to understand. The guy could’ve simply said to meet where we were 20 minutes earlier and every thing would’ve been solved. in the end we found our way to a Makeshift trail, where we blustered down until my boyfriend stepped in dog poo. He was not a happy camper!! I think it should’ve been much clearer what the tour covered and if you only have a very brief. At least go to all the highlights not just the churches. I would not recommend thus tour

Beautiful city!

The city tour and the guide were great. For this a 5 star rating. Only complaint is the initial loading zone at Plaza España was confusing. There were no signs to distinguish which bus was what tour. This could have been handled better.

Disappointing trip

Although urged to be at our meeting point 15min early we in fact left 40 minutes late. There was no introduction on the coach and once we arrived we had to wait 45 minutes for the rest of the group to join us. The 'day trip' to Toledo was in fact about 2 hours actually guided around Toledo. After a mediocre lunch we were abandoned to look around and find our own way back to the bus. Only told to keep going down and ask a local where McDonald's is if you get lost (which several if us did). Back in Madrid we were not dropped off at our starting point. This trip was overpriced and not well organised.

Awesome tour

David was very knowledgeable about everything. My boyfriend was full of questions, testing David’s knowledge and David was more than happy to accept the challenge answering every question he could conjure. My second time on a walking tour through Toledo and I felt as though I’d seen it through new eyes! All around an amazing tour.

Lovely city tour with a lovely guide Jennifer

Toledo is a beautiful city and you need a good guide to give you the essence of this city. Thankfully, I and my group had Jennifer - the cheerful and knowledgeable guide who ensured we made the most out of our time in Toledo. She narrated the legends of Toledo both in Spanish and English and was kind enough to answer any questions and didn’t rush through the tour (which is great) Although she had a big group, she managed to keep everyone engaged and curious about the offerings of Toledo. I would highly recommend doing the tour with her. Best, Swagat

Very enjoyable tour!

Our tour guide Inma was excellent and made the tour so enjoyable! She was very detailed and made sure we understood her. One thing we found was the bus service to pick us up at Plaza España was late half an hour and apparently they had to use a replacement bus with no air conditioning. Aside from that, the visit at Toledo was everything we expected. We took the full tour and the food was excellent. The attention we received from our tour guide Inma was top notch and she was extremely responsible paying special attention to kids and seniors. I recommend.

Sehr schlechte Organisation der spanischen Veranschtalter.

Wir haben 5 Besichtigungen inklusive,aber haben mit Mühe nur eine Besichtigung der Kirche erhalten. Uns wurde erklärt,dass eventuell wir alle selber finden,zahlen und erkunden sollen!

Excelente guía (Olga)

Parte favorita fue La Catedral. Olga una excelente guía de turismo. Consejo: comprar Toledo completo PERO NO incluya la manilla pues no le da tiempo a ver los 6 restantes lugares de intereses (Iglesia santo tome, sinagoga de Santa Maria la Blanca, Monasterio de San Juan de los reyes, Real colegio Doncellas Nobles, Iglesia de los Jesuitas, Antigua mezquita del Cristo.

PASEO EN FAMILIA

Pasear por Toledo con buena temperatura ya fue un lujo , habia poca gente. Visitamos las sinagogas y el museo del greco y luego hora de comer

La vista de Toledo desde enfrente sobre el río Tajo. Caminar por las calles del casco histórico. LA Catedral. El Museo de EL GRECO.

Recomendable 100%

Hice esta visita el 14 de Julio y la recomiendo ampliamente. El guía David muy atento y amable en todo momento, nos brindó un tour divertido, con conocimientos y anécdotas de los lugares visitados. El único pero que le pongo es a la comida, si bien hay platos variados sería bueno que el lugar contara con carta de alérgenos. Por lo demás todo bien.

Gita per gente dalla bocca buona!

La gita di 1 giorno a Toledo tutto incluso, partendo da Madrid e tornandovi, organizzata dall’operatore turistico locale Madrid BusVision sarebbe molto interessante e giustificherebbe il costo scontato, comunque per nulla a buon mercato di 177,60 Euro per 2 (due) persone, se non fosse manchevole in alcuni aspetti. Innanzi tutto, la puntualità: essendo un tour previsto della durata di 8 ore, partendo effettivamente dal punto di incontro alle 09:45 e non alle 09:00 previste (dopo essersi presentati sul posto già da prima dell'inizio del tour, così da poter iniziare in orario, come richiesto testualmente da Madrid BusVision) già inizia male; non fosse altro che oltre ai 45 minuti sprecati, il traffico per uscire da Madrid è caotico fin dal mattino. Le audio guide in italiano: nell’offerta e nel voucher prepagato comprensivo anche di questo costo è previsto che ci siano ma, soltanto dopo aver sollecitato l’accompagnatrice sul bus (disconoscente di questo extra prepagato) a telefonare agli organizzatori affinché trovino una soluzione, a Toledo si raggiunge un accordo. In sintesi, per evitare la contestazione del voucher, le audio guide in italiano saranno consegnate dalla Guida che attende a Toledo ma unicamente per 3 (tre) ingressi monumentali. La visita ai monumenti: la Guida assegnata è stata molto capace a condurre il gruppo ma avendo il compito di completare la visita prima di pranzo tutto si svolge con notevole fretta perché i luoghi da visitare sono solo apparentemente vicini e alcuni prevedono maggiore impegno di tempo. Il pranzo: è convenzionato con un self service proponente un’offerta totalmente insufficiente in qualità e appetibilità. La durata: dovendo trovarsi alle 16:20 al punto di incontro per attendere il bus di ritorno (naturalmente di nuovo in ritardo di 30 minuti) resta il rimpianto che di una gita di 1 giorno a Toledo tutto incluso è stato apprezzato veramente poco e soltanto per sommi capi.

Linda cidade que nos leva a reviver o passado. Fomos guiado por uma guia tolerante apaixonada por toledo e que nos passou a emoção de cada lugar visitado. Parabéns Soraia que brilhante trabalho que desempenho e sobretudo pelo amor e carinho com que trata os visitantes.

Buen día en Toledo

Descubrimos la historia de la ciudad y visitamos los principales monumentos guiados por David y Juanpe. Son dos guías preparados y que con sus explicaciones aclararon dudas y nos contaron anécdotas interesantes de forma muy amena. El único inconveniente es que las explicaciones se realizan tanto en español como en inglés y eso hace que resulte un poco pesado. Creo que sería mejor separar los grupos de la visita en función del idioma. El tour incluía un almuerzo en un buffet, no tiene mucha variedad de productos pero es correcto para reponer fuerzas y continuar la visita por la ciudad. La vuelta panorámica por la ciudad ya de noche con los edificios iluminados fue espectacular!

Toledo súper vengan

Arancha es súper buena onda, estuve un poco tímido al inicio por bobada mía, luego nos incorporamos y todo él grupo de viaje se integró como amigos. Estuvimos en la experiencia Toledo.

varias veces he viajado a Toledo y sugiero a los turistas pagar por el servicio adicional con comida incluida porque se pierde mucho tiempo al momento del luch buscando donde comer. Ademas les recomiendo llevar algo para picar durante el viaje.

MUY RECOMENDABLE

la guia del tour no recuerdo el nombre pero me parecio excelente muy simpatica y entretenida toda su explicacion. Nos llevo a los puntos mas importantes de Toledo tal como indica la excursion, exceptuando el castillo.Tambien nos recomendo donde hacer las compras y que marcas comprar. Recomiendo contratar el almuerzo con ellos ya que al mediodia colapsan los restaurantes por el turismo y es la unica forma de tenerlo asegurado. Me quedo poco tiempo para recorrer la ciudad por mi cuenta ya que entre a un local a comprar cuchillos y me tuvieron 1 hora.

Vale la inversión

Me encanta viajara con mis hijos y de esté fue un hermoso paseo porque además de los paisajes disfrutamos de mucha cultura e historia, el guía super cool y amable, nos tomo muchas fotos y estuvo siempre al pendiente de nosotros, muy recomendado para viajar con los niños

Bus confortable, mais l’organisation médiocre!

Bus confortable et sécuritaire, conducteur professionnel et attentif. Organisation épouvantablement médiocre: Le bus devait nous prendre à l’hotel NH Atocha à Madrid à 8h30, arrivé à 9h. Un arrêt en quelque part à Madrid durée 1h, manque de places dans le bus. Un autre bus arrive, distribution des places, sans aucune raison du retard. Arrivé à Toledo, super, mais notre visite guidée de 90 minutes n’a duré que à peine 60 minutes avec le guide. Départ de Toledo à l’heure prévue mais au retour le conducteur du bus nous a débarqué beaucoup plus loin de notre hotel. Terminus dernier arrêt et votre hotel est là-bas à 5 minutes de marche. Service médiocre sans aucun respect. À éviter par son manque d’organisation et son horaire. Bonne chance, mais la visite de la ville de Toledo, c’est magnifique à visiter. Gracias!
