2 beautiful cities in one day in he tour guide was excellent .We were able to have plenty of time to eat and enjoy the city .

Sara our tour guide from Fun and Tickets was very passionate about the history of Avila and Segovia and explained it well, and kept it interesting. The double decker tour bus driven by Luis had good driving skills and got us to our destinations on time. I would definately recommend Fun and Tickets

Great WALKING tour of Avila and Segovia! Nice day trip from Madrid!

This was a great day trip from Madrid! As advertised this is a nice coach bus, mostly walking tour of Avila and Segovia. Sara was energetic and full of just the right amount of information. She stopped at great places to take pictures and give good instructions for the brief free periods we had in each city. They built in an appetizer and a drink around mid day, which was a welcome break. We toured a couple church/cathedrals and a royal palace with commentary from Sara! The walls of both cities and the aqueduct in Segovia made this trip worth it. If there was anything to know before booking it was a lot of walking (5-6 miles, 8km) through lovely streets, but in the hot Spanish sun in June, it was a lot!!

Great outing to see two medieval towns

Sara was a great tourguide! We learned a lot about both Avila and Segovia. The itinerary is well thought out, although the free time in Segovia was a bit short. We enjoyed the trip and took lots of photos!

The beauty of History with knowledgeable tour guides.

We had such a great time. Very punctual and professional. Carlos and Sara were very knowledgeable and always attentive to the group. Suggestion. The bus was not equipped with a usb connectors. A little bit disappointed. Bring your extra battery charger. We had a great time.

Wonderful Avila/Segovia tour

A wonderfully paced tour. Guide (Sara) was fabulous. Loved the commentary that came along with the sites we visited. Very informational.

Amazing experience!

This tour of Àvila and Segovia was amazing! Full of historic sights and views, the guided walking tour allowed you to really immerse yourself in the experience. Gloria and Daniel - our guides for Àvila and Segovia respectively were incredible and answered any questions we had about what we were seeing on the day. Highly recommend walking the wall in Àvila and walking the tower at the Segovia castle.

Superb guide Sarah

Sarah was such an amazing guide. She’s very knowledgeable about history,art and architecture. You can tell she is well educated in each subject matter. Her presentation keeps you engaged and you don’t want to miss a single word she says. Very considerate and made sure no one stayed behind. Highly recommend her! Also love her name ;)

Great tour but with dodgy audio.

Gloria and Daniel were very knowledgeable and provided a wealth of information about Avila and Segovia respectively. Unfortunately some of the commentary was missed due to audio cutting in and out which was frustrating.

Segovia: victory path

This was a well timed tour. We got a lot of info on walking tours. Segovia was amazing and beautiful. That could have been the whole day. I only wish I had more time to explore on my own:)

Good trip but not what we expected.

Overall the trip was a good experience. We really enjoyed the cities and learning about their historic significance. What we did not appreciate and expect was that this would be such a large group. The description was for 35 people, however, there were 74+ people stuffed into a very large, albeit comfortable, bus. One person was masked and coughed throughout the trip which was worrisome. Another problem we had was understanding the tour guides heavily accented English. Although she seemed knowledgeable, throughout most of the tour it seemed like she was reading from a script. I really could not understand a lot of what she was saying and lost interest by the end of the tour. Also, more specific locations could have been given as to meeting locations after the breaks (not just meet in the shade). Overall the tour was well organized just not what we expected.

Best tour ever.

This was one of the best tour I had. Very thorough guide. I think he was Luis. Audio devices were provided for all parts of the trip. Extremely well organized, knowledgeable and thorough. Just overall great.

Large groups, but guides were lovely

The groups were massive, but the guides were very knowledgeable and managed them well. Avila and Segovia were beautiful and we really enjoyed walking around through them.

Great tour with Beatiz

Beatriz is a great guide, full of historical knowledge, friendly and patient with the group. Her pace was just right to keep the schedule and still enjoy the sights.

Great tour. The bus group was split into 3 with 3 tour guides on the bus. All guides were very knowledgeable and a pleasure to listen to and walk with. Personal time in addition to the tour. I highly recommend this tour.

Segovia and Avilia one day tour.

Beatrice, Marina and Gloria were amazing guides. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip to Segovia, what an incredible city. The walled city of Ávila was very impressive also.

Satisfied , good trip and pace . One toilet stop in the old town of Segovia would make it perfect .

Wonderful experience, guide Martha was knowledgeable , friendly and funny . Only one drawback , there was not enough time to explore the shops , maybe just an additional 30 mins will do.

Avila and Segovia in one Day

The tour was fantastic. The guides, Luis, Marta, Carlos y Gloria were terrific. Avila, our first stop and Segovia, our second stop, our a must if visiting Madrid and one is looking to learn about local history.

Two stunning towns with rich histories

We were told by a friend that we should visit Avila because it is a lesser known day trip from Madrid. I chose a tour that included Segovia, not really knowing anything about it. Wow, Segovia is one of the most beautiful towns I have ever visited. From the intact Roman aqueduct, to the gorgeous gothic cathedral, to the Alcázar. Just one amazing sight after another, and the town itself is so charming. From there we traveled to Avila and toured the fully walled city, including a walk atop the city walls. What an amazing town. Our tour guide, Beatrice, was knowledgeable and shared lots of local history. I would recommend this tour as a great excursion to anyone visiting Madrid.

The tour was great! Our guides were very knowledgeable and were really friendly and welcoming. The tour was filled with many visits to speacial locations and we were given plenty of opportunities to take fabulous pictures to preserve the memories. I would definitely recommend their service and would go on another trip to other locations with them!

We enjoyed our history class, living and traveling back to the past through our magnificent guides Carlos and Sarah. Special thanks also to Luis our bus driver for a safe trip. You have to be fit or prepared to walk almost 10 miles between Avila and Segovia all together.

Very historical and beautiful

Everything was great! Our english speaking tour guide ( Sarah) was very easy to understand and very knowledgeable about the history. The only bad thing was that the castle was closed, which is not the tour’s fault, but I would advise looking ahead of time to see if it would be open when you go.

Sagovia and Avila in summer

The tour started with Sagovia and finished in Avila. Personal my son and I enjoyed Sagovia better. The mix of Muslim, Christian Romania, and Jewish architecture is wonderful. Avila is more of Royal families and Christianity history. The lady tour guide is very experienced. She us able to give details of each historical sites.

Lovely cities, bad tour guides, especially the one in Avila, put everyone to sleep. Take the train and do it yourself.

Great walking day tour!

This was a fantastic experience. They provided headphones with the audio guided tour. We had a large tour group but they broke us up into smaller groups with English speaking and Spanish speaking guides. Sara was wonderful. She kept a great pace and we learned a lot! They built in short breaks throughout the day—would definitely bringing a refillable water bottle and snacks.

Great Experience

Our travel guide Sarah was knowledgable and able to also converse in perfect English. There is adequate time to eat and drink in between the sights. The walking pace is quick. You need to be in decent shape to walk up and down the narrow streets. My IPhone showed over 12,000 steps. A great experience.

Avila and Segovia

I recently took a tour to Avila and Segovia, and it was an incredible experience! Both cities are rich in history and stunning architecture, with highlights including Ávila's medieval walls and Segovia's breathtaking Roman aqueduct. Our guides were very knowledgeable and engaging, making the history come alive with fascinating stories. The only downside was the bus; it was advertised as a “luxury bus” but felt quite dated. Despite this, the overall experience was fantastic and I highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in exploring Spain's historical gems.

Beautiful, entertaining and Informative.

***** An amazing Trip. Sara, our guide was very knowledgeable, detailed and with lots of information to offer. We were very pleased to have her. Both cities are beautiful a total delight. My only change to this trip will be to have lunch in Segóvia. But we had a good lunch in Avila as well. The tour was organized, the bus was great, and the driver, Luis was good as well. I am glad we got to enjoy it.

Segovia is amazing!!

This tour was amazing and so worth it! Maria was a great guide, allowing everyone time to see the sights in Segovia and explaining the interesting history of the buildings and the city. Avila was less interesting unfortunately, and we split up the group and went with a different tour guide named Gloria. Her English seemed limited and she kept using simple words to explain the sights which made it feel boring and long. But hey, we now know that there are 2 different kinds of windows and doors in the city, so there is that. Still, highly recommend this tour!

Thoroughly Excited!

Fantastic tour with these guys. The guides were super informative and knowledgeable, the sites were incredible and the time allowed was just right. The coach was very comfortable also. I would highly recommended this tour company.

Excellent day trip tour from Madrid.

This was my first trip to Spain. This is an excellent day trip tour from Madrid. Very informative. Kind and knowledgeable guides (Daniel and Maria). Definitely recommend!

Nice trip

The trip was mostly good except their sound system had a constant static noise and at times it was hard to hear the guide. They also didn't always give warnings of when they wanted to leave the site, so you have to be on top of the schedule and plan.

Segovia and Avila

Rafael was our tour guide and he was fantastic. The family really enjoyed the tour. Both towns have some amazing history and architecture and our tour guide’s stories brought the history together very well.
