Swiss Chocolate Adventure at Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne

Fine…but not cheap.

It’s about 20 minutes. You meander through some well designed and engaging exhibitions / videos of the chocolate making business / history of chocolate. It’s fine. But hugely overpriced. We paid 18 CHF per person. Yes it is Switzerland. But still…it was just about ok.

Not that creative. Has no wow factor.

It's allright, i would not pat 20CHF though. There was a technical difficulty but am sure that wasn't part of the plan. It's very informative but that memorable it just spins you to different parts within the same are. I should've trusted the previous reviews.

A lot better ways to spend 18 CHF. Like buying chocolate.

Snippets of info about chocolate presented while moving though the attraction in a tilt-a-wheel seat. Would have gotten more out of watching a YouTube video and buying a case of Lindt chocolates for that price. Oh, they did give you ONE Lindt truffle at the end. Not worth it.

Chocolate experience

Fun little activity. Great explanation of how chocolate became a popular Swiss export and details on the making process. My teens thought it was fun. Like everything in Switzerland, a bit pricey for a 25 minute activity but I would still recommend it.

unsatisfactory experience

The adventure itself is quite enjoyable, with interesting facts and captivating scenery. However, the subsequent chocolate tasting experience leaves much to be desired. It took place in a souvenir store, and the lady in charge on that particular day appeared to harbor a strong aversion towards people. Accompanied by my friend and her son, we encountered a rather unpleasant incident when the boy expressed his interest in sampling the chocolate. The lady, visibly annoyed, curtly inquired if we were members of the 'Chocolate Adventure'. Even after confirming our membership, she promptly turned her back on us and resumed explaining the nuances of chocolate to other visitors. Such disregard, particularly towards a child, is utterly unacceptable.

Great activity for adults and kids. It was a learning experience and the chocolates were great. The time spent with the chocolatier was the right amount to keep the kid’s attention

I thought it would be more interesting, you will watch a documentary about chocolate while in the visit, for me and the family didn’t enjoy, i would prefer to do other things during this time as i could know about the history of chocolate from youtube by my own

Interesting way to learn about chocolate

This adventure, or ride, reminded me of the teacup ride in Disney world, but with less turns. It was an interesting way to learn about the history of chocolate and how it’s made

Well, it is a bit little if you have high expectations. I did not expect a lot so I was positively surprised. There are good facts and it is interesting. Staff is not welcoming unfortunately.

Swiss chocolate adventure

We enjoyed the ride learning about how chocolate is made and of course the free samples at the end. Apparently there is a tasting with a chocolatier but it was going to be an hour and a half later so we didn't stay.. Maybe they could have it sooner after the first rides through. Also enjoyed shopping at the Lindt store there!

It’s okay but basically just a pretty and elaborate Lindt sales pitch. Exit through the Lindt gift shop. Wouldn’t recommend. We went because it was included with our tickets to the Swiss Transport Museum.

had to cancel because the changed the times and didn’t get to go. looked good but this site needs to keep up with changes. we showed up for our 11am show and they changed scheduled to 1pm

Not bad but not good either...

You learn how Lindt chocolate is made and get ohne Lindt chocolate ball, not even something special. I wouldnt recommend this to my friends or family. Try Maison Cailer ;)

Not a Bad Place.

Looks into ‘Logistics’ in Switzerland. A good small collection of Swiss aviation aircraft, some you can enter. A section on space, trains and cars. COVID compliant. Food is cafeteria style, but this could be due to restaurants being closed. What a Swiss chocolate experience has to do with transportation is beyond me other than pure commercialism. Lots of stuff for kids to do. Expect to pay Swiss prices.

A delightful chocolate experience

We had a great experience at the Swiss Chocolate Adventure Experience at the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne. Visitors quite literally get transported through the history of chocolate and the Lindt brand in a chocolate carriage. Each display room/area is a visual delight and in one of the rooms, guests are a gifted a small surprise. An affordable attraction among a host of other exciting activities at the museum. Great for families.

Amazing experience - journey of chocolate

Jun 19: Once done with the museum, take the Chocolate adventure. They made the journey from the cocoa to the chocolate as an amazing journey telling about the relevant things. It will take less than 30 mins but an experience for sure. They take you around in a cup-saucer like train inside and tell you the history. End it with shopping at the Lindt shop. Heavenly

Too expensive when compare with the service

Chocolate advanture section is not worth to spend your money. They only offer some videos to watch that you can easily find on video platforms and only one (not bulk but piece) Lindt chocolate ball. Also they took 7 chf from 2,5 year old kid. OK this is Switzerland, everything is money but this was over the sky.

Excellent

This tour was in a little chocolate carriage that takes you around and shows you how they make chocolate and you also get free samples. This was one of the neat things I have ever done and it was excellent

Sliding along the chocolate history

It is a lovely experience, sitting in comfortable chairs and watching presentations. The age does not matter because the films are short in interesting environment. No, the secret is not revealed but you still will learn a lot. And we loved the surprises. :) We bought the combo ticket with the transportation museum and it was a fantastic day, even it was raining outside, most of the activities you do it inside.

The Chocolate Experience

Was a really good attraction, sitting in a cube of chocolate whizzing around the world! Learning about cocoa. Free truffles at the end coming down a chute - yummy. Not expensive either.

Highly Entertaining!

While in the Transportation Museum, we took the Swiss Chocolate Adventure Experience. It was quite informative and fun, especially for families with children. Four to a mobile car, we were transported through a story of how chocolate is made, and we found it fascinating. Plus, we got some samples when the ride was finished. We'd highly recommend it to all, but especially to families with young children.

Wow what an experience!!

We had a very pleasant walk from the City to the Museum. We were there mid week so not too many people around. The Museum was very interesting, and the Chocolate Adventure was most informative and excellent - fully recommend.

A fun and interesting half an hour

This is a little different and the experience lasts about 30 minutes. A motorised cart transfers you from area/screen to area/screen and you are taught how chocolate is made in Switzerland. You receive a few little samples at the end. It's based within the transport museum itself.

Educational tour

This tour explained how chocolate is made in detail and we enjoyed it. Plus, you got samples! Also, there was a museum there and some other adventures for children. Nice place.

This tour was so entertaining. I felt like Willy Wonka was going to pop up somewhere! We learned a lot about Swiss chocolate and even got to try some! Tour is about 30 mins.

A lot of information but not a lot...

<p>A lot of information but not a lot of fun. The automated 'cars' take you into cylindrical rooms where you learn about the how chocolate is made. Having been to Cadburys World we didn't feel we learnt a lot. I'd have been interested in learning more about how they picked different flavours, researched new ideas etc. The space wa well used but felt a little sparse outside of the rooms. Staff were very friendly though and tried to make the experience as enjoyable as possible.</p>

Well… better not!

Unfortunately, there were technical problems, so one station was skipped. You also got 2 pieces of chocolate. It's not an experience... it's much cheaper and you get a lot more at the Lindt Museum in Thalwil! Also, bad video quality and a broken TV in the lift

Why neglected technology in the Swiss Technology Museum?

All in all, a nice idea, well implemented and very entertaining. If it weren't for the completely neglected technology in the Swiss Technology Museum. Lots of projectors are used here. The bulbs in many of them have been in there for far too long and only give off a dim light. But the worst are those that have not been focused. The prisms on the WUXGA 3LCD Panasonic projectors are sometimes warped. Such projectors will never produce a good image again. The question remains: WHY? Who is responsible for this? - You could do better - TRANSPORTATION MUSEUM!!!

Uninteresting if you have already done another chocolate attraction

After having made the Caillier and Camille Bloch house, this activity seems very dull. We sit in autonomous vehicles that look like coffee cups and we travel around a circuit, stopping in front of screens where very succinct explanatory films are broadcast and that's it... No interaction is possible, return to the start without getting off. And in terms of chocolate tasting, a classic Lindt ball is given in the vehicle and a black Lindt bubble when returning the audio guide. And speaking of the audio guide, as all the scenes are in German on the speakers, it's not very pleasant to have French in one ear and German in the other. The only interesting thing for me is autonomous vehicle technology

Petite aventure agréable et instructive

Circuit du chocolat dans enceinte du musée des transports de Lucerne? Compter 16.20 CHF par personne. Parcours d'une 20 minutes en petit wagon. Belle petite balade avec une surprise gustative. A faire.

Giornata simpatica ma non entusiasmante

Interessante ma a mio avviso un po’ deludente, il giro dura veramente poco, abbiamo visitato altre fabbriche dove avevano più attrazioni e sopratutto il giro durava più a lungo . A mio avviso posso recensire dicendo che è stata una simpatica giornata

Schoggifahrt

Die Fahrt war schön, jedoch gibts am Schluss pro Person 2 Kugeln Schoggi. Für den bezahlten Preis von 56.- waren unsere Erwartungen als Schoggiliebhaber doch etwas getrübt. Das nächste mal kaufen wir uns für diesen Preis im Coop 3 Pack Kugeln und sind Glücklich:-)

Für Schokoladenfreunde

Da es regnete entschieden wir uns, das Lindt Chocolate Adventure zu besuchen. An sich ist es interessant gemacht und innovativ. Allerdings denke ich, dass für diese 20 min Erlebnis der Eintrittspreis zu hoch ist. CHF 10.- wären angemessen. Aber um es 1x gesehen zu haben ist es ok. Die Schokolade ist einfach die Beste!

Excellent, super visite

Les enfants (et les parents) ont adorés....c'était vraiment top. Une jolie visite expliquant d'où vient le caco, comment il arrive ici, comment il est transformé et la touche finale, comment Lindt le propose ! A la fin, on récupère quelques chocolat à déguster..mais c'est sûr que ça vaut pas la visite Cailler.....néanmoins pas grave car c'est quand même bien...et les enfants sont sortis avec un énooorme sourire !

Bin der Meinung der Eintrittspreis ist gerechtfertigt. ABER nicht CHF 10.50 für die kleinste Portion Pommes Frites mit 4 Chicken Nuggets aus der Warmhaltebox die ich je gesehen habe. No go....

Belle aventure dans le royaume du chocolat

La visite en wagonnet est très moderne, dynamique et sympa. La petite boule de chocolat à la sortie fait très plaisir, on salive après une visite autour du chocolat. Seul bémol, le son de la pièce on l'on se trouve devrait être couper pour les personnes qui sont avec un audioguide, car on entendait plus le commentaire allemand, que le français avec l'audioguide sur les oreilles.

Musée du chocolat et de transport

Magnifique!..c'est a faire au moins une fois. J'ai trouvé très classe. Le personnel est amaible et souriant,une très belle expérience.

Parcours ludique sur l’origine et la fabrication du chocolat en Suisse. Approche intéressante pour les jeunes et dégustation de chocolat!!!

Superbe journée

Nous y sommes allées avec 2 adolescentes de 14 et 16 ans et avons passé une magnifique journée en famille. Il y a de quoi faire et pour tous les âges. Je le conseille vivement.

Schokolade klassisch, eine Tour

Das war ein schönes Abenteuer. Zuerst fährt man mit einem Lift nach unten und dann steigt man in eine Art Gondeln ein.. Wie auf Schienen fährt man in einzelne Stationen. Dort wird einem die Herkunft des Kakaos, sowie die Herstellung von Schokolade gut und unterhaltsam gezeigt. Man sitzt 25 Minuten und erlebt kurze unterhaltsame Sequenzen.. macht Spass.. denke mal geeignet für Kinder ab 5 Jahren. Kostet 16 Franken / Eewachsener.

Muy regular.

Lo que ofrecen no es exactamente lo que se obtiene. Dan la expectativa de poder interactuar con maestros chocolateros y son puras películas lo que nos pasan. Igual hablan de degustación y es la misma que ofrecen en la tienda del museo. Así que no vale la pena.

Ausgezeichnete Präsentation auf höchstem Niveau zum 50 Jahr Jubiläum des Planetariums. Der Leiter des Planetariums ist Astrophysiker, der es versteht, auch komplexeste Zusammenhänge des Universums auf einfache und verständliche Art zu erklären. Ein absolutes Top - Erlebnis!!

Péssimo passeio sem nada atrativo e caro

Não vale a pena. Alem de caro, trata-se de um passeio super simples aonde ficamos andando em um carrinho de brinquedo e passam alguns videos sobre chocolates, algo muito primitivo sem explorar a riqueza do chocolate. Péssimo passeio. Decepção pois uma marca com a Lindt poderia explorar muito mais e para completar no final tem uma loja simples com pouquíssimas opções de chocolates.
