Perfect combination

Perfect and massively recommended light and fun trip. Viewed the wonderful mountains around Luzern, experienced cogwheel views of Queen mount rigi and spent a few hours unwinding in a lux spa. Rigi was soooo helpful and helped my inquiry right away! Book this deal, seriously.

Last minute cancel and fantastic customer service

It was raining nonstop for days so we would not have made the most of the ride to the Mt. Rigi or the spa. In addition, from where we were staying in Lucene, it would cost us $100 Francs each way to Weggis to get to Mt. Riggi. The communicated with the tour guide and they suggested I contact Viator for a refund. Once I did it was all accomplished within 15 minutes! And we cancelled the day of the tour! My friend and I were amazed at the customer service and prompt response. I have booked many excursions with Viator and will continue to do so.

Loved it!

Train ride up was quite scenic. Spa was excellent, clean and spacious. Views from top of Mt Rigi and spa are spectacular. Plan to spend the day there.

Worth the Trip!

Don't let the cogwheel in the description confuse you, it looks like a normal train. The spa was a really fun experience! Really warm water with inside and outdoor options with great views of the alps. You can also take a break and go into the amazing steam room. Getting here from Lucerne is fairly easy. Just take the ferry from the massive port that you can't miss and if you can't you can ask locals. The cogwheel train ride is literally 100 steps once you get off the ferry so you can't miss that either.

Breathtaking views of Lake Lucerne

All went smoothly with the tickets and highly recommend visiting Mt Rigi by cable car. The SPA was a wonderful finish to a huge day of walking. Stunning views in every direction.

This was so amazing, we wouldn’t have even known about this without booking this and it was such a great day! Well worth the money and the spa was such a relaxing surprise! The views at the top of Rigi were spectacular.

This was an amazing package and experience! The spa is amazing and has so many different offerings. They don't allow phones or pictures inside the spa so you won't find much online, but there is a crystal bathroom, relaxing rooms, steam and sauna rooms, and indoor and outdoor pools that are amazing. Definitely worth the convenience and money saved since it includes your trip up and down the mountain as well. We went while it was snowing and it was still warm and extra magical.

Lovely self-guided day out

Great day out at Rigi & Weggis from Lucerne. The trip is completely self-guided which gives you lots of freedom over travel to and from Rigi and exploring the summit of Rigi also. We opted to take the boat from Lucerne to Weggis; and then the cable car & mountain train. The cable car operator was very friendly, especially as it was my partner’s first time on a cable car (- and he doesn’t like heights!). When we reached the summit, we walked straight to the top of the mountain - the panoramic views are incredible, even in low-visibility. We then opted to take two trail hikes down to the spa, as shown on the map to Rigi provided by the cable car operator. The spa was a lovely addition to an excellent day, the facilities were gorgeous and all areas of the pool and spa were very clean. Lots of other things to do on Rigi including restaurants, cafes, cheese-dairies and parks for children. Worth the money to pay for access to cable car, mountain train & spa as these can incur additional costs if booking separately.

Amazing experience staff are very friendly and place is clean and a lot of spa activities to do the outside area. Is amazing bar drinks are great too

Wonderful...bang for the buck!

Nice package! However need to give more details of the inclusions like the train boarding point, ropeway boarding point and schedules for both. Mineral Bath was a great thing but again need to publish the schedules too!

Rigi day

Took the train up to the top (rigi kulm) then back to the spa area at rigi kaltbad, then took the weggis cable car down. Lots of ways to get from weggis back to vitznau (where we stayed) including ferry, bus, or walking. Beautiful views, spa was super fun.

Relax time in the mountains

The spa is small but very relaxing, with a relaxing area and incredible views. The only downside is that the price does not include a towel.

MUST DO!

Must do if you are in the Luzern area! Unforgettable views and a great way to spend the day. Important note: the trip does not leave from Luzern, we took the ferry to Weggis (40 min, 35 CHF RT per person). From there you can take the cable car up the mountain and the rest is up to you. There are plenty of restaurants on the mountain with excellent food and drink. The spa is great - bring a towel, robe, and sandals. The ticket only really covers your entrance fee. This was by far the best trip we took in Switzerland and highly recommend it to all future travelers. Cheers!

Excellent! Good value for money and not to be missed

The Spa, views and rides were unique. Weather was good. Good value for money as you have tickets to the spa can travel in the trains and cable car as many time as you like.

The tour does NOT start or end in Lucerne

The most important thing to know about this excursion is that you have to get yourself to the base of the cog train (Vistnau) or the cable car (Weggis) -- which are NOT in Lucerne and NOT covered by this tour cost. You must take a boat (takes about an hour each way) or bus (multiple stops, longer travel time) to one of these locations. Once you figure that out, you're good to go and will enjoy the day. We took a 8:10 am boat to Vistnau (48 chf adult round trip per person), which conveniently left from near the Lucerne train station, and it was a lovely ride. This is a "self-guided tour" which "allows you to skip the line" - what this means is that your QR code works as a ticket allowing you to jump on & off the train when ever and where ever you like. This was convenient since we had to manage the the boat & train connections, decide how much time to spend hiking, and fit in our time at the spa. It's all very do-able, you just need to know what you will have to do to make it work and be flexible. Easiest if you give yourself most of the day and don't rush. We enjoyed the spa a lot! Again your tour code gets you entry with no additional fees unless you rent a towel. The spa is super clean and you can spend as much time here as you like. Bring swimwear and a plastic bag for your wet suit when you are done.

Beautiful mountain views, superb spa

(Went on a sunny Tuesday in mid-August) - My girlfriend and I were a bit tentative beforehand because of the fluid description on here, but it turned out to be a very good experience. The cogwheel train up to the peak wasn’t in a traditional looking cogwheel train as advertised in certain leaflets around the station, but did the job nonetheless. The views at the top were beautiful. The real treat was the spa though, a gorgeous setting with a heated indoor and outdoor swimming pool with lovely views. The crystal bath was especially relaxing. We went to get the cable car back down but there was a very long queue and not much information about how many people it could take and when the next trips down were, so that was a little disappointing, but we just got the cogwheel train back down instead.

Kaltbad

Was a relaxing day. Super experience provided you come prepared. Either bring your own towels, slippers, bath robe and toiletries or be ready to rent them out. The views can largely depend on weather. For us we liked the overcast especially because we could enjoy the outdoor pool without fear of sun burn. The quinoa salad at the reception tasted great!

An experience not to be missed

Outstanding experience and would recommend it to anyone. The only downside is the cost of the steamer from Lucerne to Vitznau which was almost as expensive as the spa. This was not advised at the time of the booking

Beautiful in the sun!

Such a great way to spend the day! Definitely recommend the mineralspas and the cable car down. A nice extra to do would be to get the sledges!

Pure bliss

To walk, eat and finally relax in the spa - with a gorgeous Panorama, on top of a blanket of fog - is pure bliss. The special arrangement - train plus spa - is worth every Rappen.

Day trip to Mt.Rigi and Spa

Overall a great experience in Mt.Rigi. In order to maximize your experience, I recommend to budget this as full day event. This is a self guided tour and Mt.Rigi has a lot to explore. If you are more of a casual traveller, you take the cogwheel train all the way to the top for amazing views of mountains on one side, and lakes on the other. There are plenty of viewpoints for unforgettable photos. Hiking down the mountain can take several hours, and there are stops along the path where you can rest, eat/drink and use the restroom. You can always take the train back down as long as there is a train stop, but just be mindful that the train can be full depending on the time and location (I.e during peak hours, the train was usually near full from the first two train stop heading down; if you were in the last stop, you would have to wait for the next train and hope for seats). The spa was a great experience, but it can be a bit packed during the weekend. We were here on a Sunday so it was a bit packed, but we could still find room to experience all areas of the spa.

Experience of a lifetime

Living in Egypt, I have never expected to be swimming in warm mineral water while it is snowing over my head at almost 1.6 kilometers above sea level. The place is luxurious, well organized, have all what you need to spend a relaxing day. It has a covered and open areas with jacuzzi. There is also sauna area. You will need your shampoo and shower gel though. For others to feel privacy you are not allowed to accompany your mobile or camera.

es básicamente una reventa de los tickets que menciona, te dan un QR que al mostrarlo en los lugares miraban con cara de extrañados, pero me permitían el acceso. Los lugares visitados están bastante repletos. No te dan información alguna sobre horarios de trenes o cable car, cuánto tiempo puedes estar en el spa (no tenía límite), debes averiguarlo tu mismo.

瑞士雪山好的體驗連溫泉

我們參加了來回齒輪火車券上Rigi 山 +Spa 溫泉浴，由於這個時段是吊車維修期，只能提供齒輪火車直上山頂，一直搭至頂站，天氣很冷，景色很好也很高，繞了一圈也在餐廳光顧了一些食物和熱湯，坐在餐廳設的車卡廂內享用；1小時多後坐兩站下山去浸溫泉，事先自備了泳衣泳褲等衣物，和浴巾兩條，同時租了兩件浴袍（CHF 9／per each）溫泉設施不錯，分上下兩層，上層有一個L形的大小池和按摩池，水溫約37°C 左右，外景有一個大池可以高地欣賞雪山美景，下層設有靜態溫泉可以放鬆身體，水溫大約38°C，也有Sauna 桑拿和蒸氣浴室房 Steam Room, 另外有收費按摩和休息室設有熱茶或水供應。整體設施滿意，可以放鬆一下身體，推薦。 最後記得留意上山車的班次，下午時段是每小時一班，（Train at p.m. is 1 hour/shit）到時剛好開走了一班，記得留意班次。

Nichts besonderes und zu teuer

Das was man da zu bieten bekommt ist überhaupt nicht den preis wert. Für 2 so kleine becken und so überfüllt sind maximal 15 franken ok. Auch beim dampfbad gibt es garkeine abkühlung. Alles zusammen gequetscht dort. Duschen sind auch voll komisch neben der rezeption. Meiner meinung nach eine abzocke.

Montée au mont Rigi...à faire par beau temps

Nous sommes partis de Vitznau avec un billet à la journée pour prendre le train à crémaillère (compter 72 euros le billet en juillet 2020). Attention, c'est plus cher de prendre un billet aller et billet retour. De plus, le pass à la journée permet de s'arrêter à n'importe quelle station. Vous pouvez obtenir une réduction avec le pass hôte Lucerne si vous logez dans le Canton (à demander à la réception de votre hôtel) Ainsi, vous bénéficierez de 20%, ce qui n'est pas négligeable vu le tarif du billet. Si le temps annoncé est mauvais, les billets sont aussi moins cher sur le site (mais pas cumulable avec le pass hôte Lucerne). A Vitznau, il y a des places de parking pour 8 CHF la journée, ce qui n'est pas trop onéreux comparé à d'autres villes Suisses) . C'est le même prix pour le téléphérique de Weggis. Vu que nous avions un temps pluvieux, nous avons fait le Spa Rigi Kaltbald. Le spa est récent comprenant une piscine couverte et une partie dehors avec de nombreux bains à remous, un espace de 3 m de large pour voir la vue (qui est la même que lorsque l'on monte avec le train à crémaillère). Un grand sauna (zone nue), un hammam et une petite zone relaxante au sous-sol. Là encore les clients ne respectaient pas les indications données sur le maximum de personnes par activité (cause du Covid). Le spa n'a pas été une expérience incontournable et l'attrait de la vue est un attrape c"""" vu que l'on ne voit rien de plus qu'avec le train. Toutefois, cela reste agréable à faire pour 37 euros le pass à la journée. La location des serviettes payantes à moins de prendre les siennes ou d'avoir le pass hôte Lucerne. Enfin, le train à crémaillère, impressionnant par la pente et le décors plus que la sensation. Nous sommes allé au point culminant mais le climat était contre nous, donc je ne peux pas commenter la vue qui semble magnifique (selon les photos).

Excusions au Mont Rigi

Activité parfaite elle comprend des trajets illimités en train à crémaillère ou téléphérique, elle comprend également les entrées au Bains Minéraux et Spa du Mont Rigi. Il n’y a pas de restrictions d’horaires mis à part les horaires de fermeture. La vue depuis les hauteurs du Mont Rigi est splendide par beau temps. Pensez à regarder la météo sur le site du Mont Rigi grâce au webcam. Je recommande cette activité !
