Truly, a lovely experience. Our driver, Tony was safe getting us to each destination and honestly, it was a smooth ride. Our guide or speaker Pablo was amazing. He had so much knowledge about each destination, including history and how each destination is today. Highly recommend.

Great experience!

It was a great tour, and our guide guy was really nice. Only thing is that we wished to stay longer at Bath and Windsor, but we also understand the time restrictions due to the distances, traffic, etc.

Avoid this your, not worth the money

Extremely badly planned and executed event. The itinerary was changed last moment, the tour guide was awful and rude and the 3 attractions promised were not shown. Really bad show - won't recommend it to anyone.

Hurried and too little time at Windsor

Guide, driver and tour were great, with exception that too little time at Windsor. We gained about 20 minutes in Windsor by NOT buying entry in advance and simply buying on site, after which we entered ahead of our tour group. Need to recognize that tour is a hurried overview.

Great tour! Many experiences packed into one.

Bruce was a great guide and Koli was a wonderful driver. We were able to see so many different things it’s hard to remember it was all one day and one tour. Bruce was very engaging and funny, but kept everyone on a strict timeline so we didn’t have to miss anything.

It would have been nice if Viator had made it more obvious that Windsor Castle was going to be closed on the day that we toured

The tour was excellent our Guide Apple and driver Pawel. It’s was an absolute marathon of a tour. I would recommend just don’t get the one bad seat all the way in the back that has people on either side of you. Thank you guys

Long bus rides but worth the time.

After a hectic morning getting on the bus we made it to Windsor Castle with lots of time to see St. George’s Chapel, the Doll House and the State Rooms. Bath was rainy but a beautiful town. Stonehenge was as advertised - a mythic place on the top of the hill with a lot of people taking pictures. There was some traffic and some rain but the countryside is gorgeous. Our tour guide, Lisa, had a good sense of humor and was very helpful all the way through the tour - making sure we had recommendations for getting home and for the next few days.

Pressed for time but generally alright

The tour was alright. It did cover the essential bits but there really wasn't much time to explore the places especially Windsor Castle. We were given about 1 to 1.5 hours at each location and that wouldn't be enough to cover even 1/4 of a place. We were basically rushing and it's a shame given how much we paid for the tour. The morning check in was messy too. I'd suggest assigning the participants to a certain guide instead of just asking us to line up and guess where we're supposed to go or if we are in the right queue to begin with. We had Lisa for our guide. Frankly, I was going to give her a really bad review given how she didn't organise the group properly and just left without checking if everyone in her group is following her at Windor Castle. It was hard to spot her also cos she didn't have an umbrella or a flag, or something really for us to easily see and follow, especially with a huge crowd. I've been on many tours and this is the first time we got left behind cos the instructions weren't clear and the guide wasn't easy to spot from a distance too, so it's not like we can't follow instructions. I understand it's a rush to get to the queue at Windsor Castle to give us ample time to explore the place but it's just as important to clearly tell your group the instructions and not just run off and not checking if everyone in your group is at least following you (something I noticed all the other guides did when we were trying to locate our group). However, Lisa was generally approachable, well-mannered, and friendly. She brightened up the tour with some jokes here and there. Since she's still very new and she's learning, I wouldn't heavily penalise her for that mishap, but rather, it's a constructive criticism she can learn from and do better next time. It would really help if she had an umbrella or flag for us to identify her from afar. For someone still new to this, I'd say she performed relatively well.

To rushed

This day felt very rushed!! By the time we got through security and into Windsor we had less then an hour to get through it! We felt we could not finish all of the Roman Baths so we had some time to get something to eat. Stonehenge did not feel rushed since there was less to it! our guild Lisa added interesting tidbits as we went.

Three Incredible Places

The tour was amazing. Right on time and our tour guide Lisa was incredible. It was with a tight schedule, but to be at the three places in one single day it was appropriate.

Fun in the UK!

This was such an excellent day. My family and I went to Windsor Palace, the Roman Baths, and Stonehenge. The tour guide, David was exceptionally witty and polite. He made an effort to speak to the entire bus group and was very knowledgeable. Windsor Palace was my favorite place to learn about on the tour. I do love the Royals! 👑 When we approached Stonehenge, the weather was cool and rainy. The bus driver, Armand was kind and handed us a rain poncho. This made for a more memorable tour being in London with the wind and rain. The ponchos helped us stay dry and a little warmer. Overall, I give this tour an excellent review. I hope you enjoy your Golden Tour and get David as your tour guide. He might even spill a little tea! 🇬🇧🚍🫖

Some people do their job. But David and Armand made the trip an experience that will be remembered for many years to come.

Quick intro to sites

This tour is a sampling of each site, don’t expect to stay long. Our guide (David) was informative and as they say, cheeky. Bus drive (Ashley) was great. Please listen to when you need to get back to the bus, it’s a long day and the world doesn’t revolve around you.

Barbara was AWESOME, her boss, not sooo much. Great tour because of Barbara.

This is a bit of a struggle. Our tour guide Barbara had her 1st tour with us and she was awesome. What I did not like was the way her "Boss", the head of tours (he mentioned many times to make sure we were aware) treated her. As the leader, he should have been encouraging and using his vast knowledge to educate Barbara on only details only someone with his experience would know. Instead he chose to diminish her value and demean her, which I took offense to. I do hope he remembers his first tour and how nervous he might have been. I gave Barbara a hug and told her she killed it. Great job Babs.

Great tour. Software review mechanics awful.

Everything fine up to writing this review. I typed a lengthy summary of tour (why does software try to change “tour” to “your”)? Then tried to submit, but button was grayed out. Only option was Back, which lost my detailed review. Apparently I forgot to check box certifying that account was my own.

Great, but fast.

Excellent tour for those that want to see these 3 attractions. Less than 2 hours at each place from the time you arrive to the time you leave.

Fantastic Tour

Ivan and Sanjeevan were great. The tour day covered so many places in such a short time. We got a glimpse of everything. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Special kudos to Ivan for making sure we were well ahead of other tourists to get into the Windsor Castle right at the opening time. We got a peaceful 20mins all for ourselves in the castle before the crowds started pouring in. And their suggestions for the local favorites were great too.

Our tour guide, Bruce, was amazing! He was so informative, not just about our 3 stops but everything in between the stops. He was very helpful with all aspects of the tour. Will, our driver, was great as well. Would definitely recommend this tour!

Beautiful places to see, amazing tour guide

The tour was so easy to navigate and very much fun to follow, tour guide David was very fun and very helpful. Even on the things that were not his responsibility and a big problem for us, he tried his best and more for our experience. Not that i can say the same for the tour officials. I did not think the sitting adjustement for two people could have been so hard to manage. But i learned today, it is very much possible. Just because the tours are crowded and it is peak tourism time, doesn’t mean it is not a once in a life time experience for someone like me, and my friend. It does not mean that my problems are unimportant, and i don’t think i deserved to feel unimportant, just because it was peak tourism time. Am i not also a part of that tourism peak? I did not feel like it. In my opinion, the tour officials could have been nicer. At some points, they were quite rude. Bath was definitely breathtaking, the town is very magical, very much worth to see. Windsor castle was also an experience for sure, it is a beautiful castle. Driver Antonio was also great, didn’t feel a thing whole journey, it was very comfortable. Again very much thanks to David, he was the only reason that kept me going the whole day!

Golden Tours-Stonhenge/Windsor Castle/Bath

Fantastic tour, covered a lot of ground. It is great if you have a limited number of days in London. Bruce was our tour guide and he was great, a lot of personality and gave tons of facts. He kept everything on schedule & moving swiftly. Sanjeev was fantastic driver, very cautious & patient. Would highly recommend this tour, my wife & I really enjoyed it.

Was put into the wrong group. Tour guide was difficult to understand

I was put into a Chinese-English bilingual tour (I ordered only an English tour). While our guide was pleasant, her English was difficult to understand with a Chinese accent and her jokes were very odd probably geared for Chinese tourists. The tour itself was pleasant, obviously not enough time for 3 places but bath and Windsor Castle were beautiful experiences.

Very nice day spent sightseeing

My wife and I absolutely loved this tour. We got to see three places in one day while able to sit back and relax while traveling from place to place. Our tour guide, Babs, was absolutely amazing. She was so informative, clearly spoke and very professional. She made for a very nice day. Babs was also helpful in recommending things to do while in London and also in giving directions back to our hotel after the tour. If you are lucky enough to get her as your guide, you will have a very enjoyable day. Definitely would book with Golden Tours again.

Such an amazing experience!

So much fun! Loved hearing the history from the tour guide. It was all amazing! The only thing I didn't like was that people were left behind if not back to the bus right on time, and in one case they started to pull out a minite early - folks where very close to the bus but they started to leave and we had to tell them they were right there. That time crunch was stressful, I understand needing to be on time but leaving without several people isn't good. And we got wrong instructions on where to find the bus from the guide and it was stressful knowing we would be left behind with our stuff on the bus.

It was a great experience to see the Stonehenge, Bath town and Windsor castle !

It was a good experience. Our tour guide was bilingual, Spanish and English( forgot his name), gave instructions and history of the place well. We departed and arrived at tour destinations on time. Thanks to the driver for driving safely.

Lisa was amazing! Very energetic and enthusiastic! Knowledgable! Very prompt! You definitely have to stay within the time frame and you may not get to see everything, but at least you got the highlights of it all! And that is just what we wanted! We had an amazing day! Definitely wouldn’t recommend this to older adults or those who have trouble getting around quickly. They will leave you behind if you aren’t back on the bus in time; no waiting.

Great Day Trip

Stonehenge was fascinating. Windsor Castle was beautiful. Paula, our guide, and Dan, our driver, made the country come alive. Well worth it tour.

Much to do in too little time!

Five stars for Oliver our guide and Tony our driver. All three destinations were terrific. The biggest negative for the (long) day was that there was not enough time available to spend at Windsor Castle and Bath. Be prepared to wait for admission to the Castle (45 minutes for us and we were FIRST in line). We were only allowed 90 minutes to see the Castle; including the 15-20 minutes to walk back to the bus. Next stop Bath, we were afforded two hours (maybe less). We didn’t go to the baths; instead had lunch and walked around. So much more there to see. Time allotted for Stonehenge was fine. Be prepared for hours of riding on the bus.

Comprehensive tour, but not adequate time at Windsor Castle. Bath and Stonehenge were great and enough time was spent there. Our tour guide, Oliver, was very friendly.

Windsor/Stonehenge/Bath Tour

Windsor/Stonehenge/Bath Tour -Ivan is a most enthusiastic and informative guide. He managed our 12 hour day to the utmost, given the breadthand depth of this whirlwind adventure. Ivan navigated our early & group entries flawlessly. He also offered many 'insider info' tips for our benefit at each destination. In addition, Ivan issued clear directions regarding timing of each site's visit and corresponding bus boarding and departure times. Herding a busload of tourists is a daunting tadk. Ivan is highly recommended as a guide. -Our driver Sangee did his best navigating both narrow lanes and highways. -Regarding the itinerary, this should be considered as an 'appetizer'. Packing-in all 3 allows one to gain a firm basis for an in-depth extended return visit.

Bruce was absolutely amazing! He was very funny and enthusiastic. Very good at telling you where to go, where to meet for the bus and times. Kee was an awesome bus driver as well!

Trurly Amazing Castle

What an Amazing Castle. The sheer size and scale took our breath away The grounds, and all facilities were spotless Castle state rooms and their furnishings were an amazing insight into the past. Souvenir shops were also excellent with a hugh range of souvenirs. Would recommend this Castle as a must see for anyone in the London vicinity

Great tour to sightsee outside of London

We had Paully and Kiran as our guide and driver and they were great! Paully was very knowledgeable about all the places we went gave us good insight and commentary on our trip. Our tour went to Windsor Castle, Bath and Stonehenge last. They are quick stops at each spot and our group was lucky enough to be first in line for Windsor castle to get see it all. Pro Tip: if you want to have the most time in Windsor Castle arrive at the meeting point at 7:30 am, you’ll spend a lot of time in the queue but you’ll be first in. The group was large, but the charter bus was very nice with tvs and good AC.

Actual tour - Bath, Stonehenge & Windsor - it makes a difference.

This trip is called "Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath", however it is actually, "Bath, Stonehenge and Windsor Castle". This makes a difference because you have no chance of getting in the Chapel at Windsor Castle when it is the last place to visit. We expected that it would be the first place on the day trip. We arrived at Windsor after 3 pm and the Chapel closes at 4. The line was up the hill. What we did see of the Castle was beautiful, but we did not get into the Chapel. The driver (Koli) and guide (Bruce) were both great, but even so, Bruce gave us an expectation that we would get into the Chapel by hurrying to get in line, when he should have been honest and said that there was little to no chance of getting in. With 19 years (or so) years of guide experience, he should know that. And according to Bruce, it wasn't even that busy of a day. Stonehenge was fine - wind and raining sideways, as always. The buses to/from the site to the center were not running timely so had to stand in the rain 25 minutes waiting for one to show up. That's not on Golden Tours, it's on Stonehenge. Bath is adorable, but not enough time to really see the Roman Baths and do anything but gift shop shopping. All three places should be visited to complete your UK experience. I would recommend only going to two of these sites in one day - Bath & Stonehenge or Windsor Castle and either of the others, depending on your wants. Three in one day means its rush, rush, rush to get them all in, so you don't get the best time in any.
