Best musical ever.

This is my favourite musical of all time and it will continue to be till I die. I was sat in the isle seat of the third row on the circle. Shed a few silent teats at the beginning when the chandelier lifts, I think it's the powerfulness of the overture that makes me get emotional. The actors are great at what they do and I highly recommend this musical to people who enjoy romance or drama shows. Keep it going!!!

Incredible show at an affordable price.

The play was fantastic. Everything was well designed and executed. Great performance by the cast and absolutely superb costumes!

Very Impressive Show

The cast and the sets for the show were very impressive. The show from beginning to end was an immersive experience.

Best Phantom ever!

The costumes, voices, sets, and acting were all superb!!!!! We love this play. Stayed for autographs after. They were all very sweet!

Amazing show, highly recommend

We attended the theatre as a family of four and thoroughly enjoyed the performance, the singing and props was amazing. The orchestra were incredible. We would highly recommend this performance to anyone who hasn’t seen it.

An awe inspiring performance 🎭

Amazing and a must see show I guess. I booked same day tickets and good seats in grand circle. Mesmerising performances and stage props etc . Beautiful voices , costumes and lighting The only downside with all theatres are seating , tiny seats all over with no place to put drinks etc . May be I m spoiled by the luxury cinema seating that is more suited to modern day human beings .

Amazing

One word Amazing This show is without doubt the best theatre experience I have ever had. From start to finish I was totally mesmerised. The stage the theatre and the backdrops are amazing but above all the performers are without doubt the best I have ever seen.,

Fantastic new production

Fantastic new production. The cast were excellent. The production upgraded. A wonderful experience which I cannot recommend highly enough.

Outstanding show

I’ll make this short ( ish ), my sister, my nephew ( who has special needs ) and I went to see the phantom of the opera. We were all very excited by this but the experience was almost destroyed ( I won’t go in to this ). All I can say is the manager of his Majesty’s theatre saved the day. Her name was Kiera ( I’m not sure of the spelling ). What an amazing lady! I mean really outstanding. She could not have been, nicer, better, more professional or understanding. This beautiful lady went over and beyond to make our experience as fabulous as possible. I genuinely don’t know what else to say only she is the epitome professionalism and her customer service is exceptional, this wonderful lady did not have to help us but she insisted. I want to acknowledge a lady called Alice who was so very gracious and Nicole who was so friendly and helpful. I really have to give these fabulous the credit they deserve. The show? Outstanding!!!!! I would highly recommend seeing this, the talent in tangible, my sisters, nephew and I were blown away with the performances, the voices, the costumes and the live orchestra where just phenomenal. If you are going to London and want to see an amazing show, look no further, it has everything! Absolutely thrilling, amazing, emotional, beautiful, engaging and just a sheer delight to behold! 100% recommend, you won’t be disappointed!

Worth a visit

Show was great, didn’t know what to expect but enjoyed it. Would highly recommend if you haven’t seen it.

Amazing decors throughout the scenes ! The actors had wonderful voices, giving me chills more than once during the play.

Amazing theatre experience

Absolutely amazing performance. What a very talented collection of singers. Absolutely could not fault the performance. The only thing I thought was missing was the end part where Christine’s husband attended the cemetery to lay a rose, as depicted in the movie. I think it would tie in with the part at the beginning where her husband bid for the musical ornament. But regardless, outstanding show, leaving us emotional at the end.

Great Show and Experience.

What a fantastic show The Phantom of the Opera was! Enjoyed it from beginning to end was awesome, very cool to catch it in London nonetheless!

Great performance and stage production

The actual show was the best performance I have been to of Phantom but I didn’t realise the seats I ordered were right up high about 3 or 4 levels, had hardly any leg room and you couldn’t see the back of the stage

Too hot!

The play was good and staff nice but unfortunately the Venue was not air conditioned well. We were sweating. The lady next to me was uncomfortable too. It takes away from the experience. The building doeshave air but didn't circulate well.

Great evening to go to theatre

Wonderful old theatre. The performances were engaging. The characters and costumes and beautiful. It was exactly what I expected.

Memorable experience

The entire performance was wonderful.! The actors were fantastic and the sets were great! Also on a personal note, I fell leaving the theater and your staff was amazing. A young woman named Katie (I think) was amazing. She sat me down and gave me a glass of water then walked me to the toilet. Then walked us outside and showed us where to catch a taxi. All employees we came in contact with were very nice.

The musical was good, but....

The show was good, but the theater lacked air circulation. It felt like an oven throughout the entire evening. It was a cool night out with some rain, but the theater felt like the air conditioner was broken. The 3 stars I gave were for the show only.

Memorable

Incredible night, better then I expected. High end production. Actor we’re fantastic and had fabulous voices. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciate a good Broadway show.

VIRGIN EXPERIENCE RIP OFF

Seats cost £60 more when using a virgin experience voucher than it would if booking direct with ALW theatres, disgraceful!

Beyond excellent clearly the best show in the Theater district! Highly recommend when visiting London and do not want to queue up.

A most memorable afternoon

Booking the tickets was straightforward and the show was beautiful! In hindsight, this was the least stressful but most enjoyable part for this family trip planner :)

A memorable musical in an old character theatre

I have seen this show 4 times now and it never fails to meet my expectations. It has a fascinating story with memorable music from Andrew Lloyd Webber. I took my 15 year old granddaughter who wanted to see it and she loved it and has not stopped singing since. Definitely recommend.

Best show anywhere!! We have seen Phantom in LA, LasVegas and this is the best! Actors and the stage are phenomenal.

Trip with granddaughters to see Phantom of the Opera. They loved it. Next highlight was Westminster Abbey.

My first time to experience phantom of the opera play and it was truly amazing! I really enjoyed the singing and acting. In my opinion if you are a fan of the play you must see it you won’t regret it.

Ideal!

It was perfect and do not need additional words! What could be added to brilliant musical perfomance in the wonderful theater!

A great Friday night activity

Great show! The theater was lovely and clean. The music was specular as were the members of the cast. I would return for another show.

An inspiring event!

Well worth a visit! The show has run for years and still attracts substantial audiences. The cast is of high quality whether with "Big Names" or not. Her Majesty's Theatre is an iconic venue for such a presentation with its iconic architecture. We in row C of the Grand Circle and generally had a good view of the stage action. We were in seats 29 and 30 and positioned more to the left. Quite a bit of the detail action takes place on the front left of the stage so there were periods of somewhat restricted view of the cast members involved requiring leaning forward. The cast performed to a high standard and the singing superb.

Good night out

The only thing I did not like is that I am only 5ft 10 and my knees were crushed in the seat in front of me. I noticed other people had the same problem which made it hard on my knees. Opera was great but would not go to that theatre again because of squashed seating

Fantastic!

Music was amazing. Actor we’re excellent and venue have great. Special effects were great. All-in-all everything was perfect. It was a very enjoyable evening.

Phantom of the opera was awesome!!

Wow, what an amazing night! We thoroughly enjoyed the theatre experience. The venue was so beautiful and the stage was interesting and fun. The staff was so helpful and friendly.

I have seen Phantom of the Opera in the US but nothing compares to the one in London. It was a great experience!

Great Performance

Not a lover of the Phantom of the Opera till I watched it live tonight in Her Majesty's Theatre Haymarket . Fabulous staging everyone involved should be very proud. The lead rolls were all excellent as was the chorus and dancers and scenery changes smooth and amazing. Gemma Evans was a very helpful and welcoming young lady and a delight to talk to.

Dated, and frankly....not that great.

I hadn't been to this in years, but got dragged back so my kids could see it. The amazing thing is that for a musical that is notionally about opera, there is almost NO great singing. Literally a couple of big notes by The Phantom (as in TWO big notes) and the rest of the show he is "singing" in an odd mode that is more like talking than singing. 'Bad writing....and not the performer's fault. The show really does seem clunky an dated to me. We saw Moulin Rouge the next night, which was an order of magnitude more entertaining.

Theatre needs some adjustments.

The theatre has no air conditioning and was warm. There are posts in the way making it difficult for viewing the whole stage. The tiered seating isn’t tiered enough and A booster seat wasn’t enough to help me see. And if you sit back too far in the lower level you can’t see the upper level of the stage so you will miss seeing the Phantom hiding at the top and some other top scenes. The bathrooms were dirty and lady at lobby gift shop with long dark hair was rude when I asked about a magnet. The play was great And really loved the chandelier effects

Utter disappointment.

Utter disappointment. No view whatsoever. How you can charge for this seat is robbery. Will be contacting the manager of Her Majistry,s to ask him or her to sit in this seat to confirm what I am saying, ,!,,,,

Still one of the best broadway show

Our third time watching Phantom, previously San Francisco and New York. Really enjoyed the Paris show, well done!

Have seen Phantom before,...

Have seen Phantom before, in Chicago, but this production was better. It lacked the technical special effects but more than made up for that with heart and soul. The small, intimate theatre was a plus.

This was Wonderful production, talented cast, beautiful theater, I would highly recommend. My entire party enjoyed the show.

A classic

A beautiful theatre a perfect venue for this dark powerful performance. The music is haunting lovely. Brilliant cast a must see when in London.

Unbearable seating and dated!

The legroom in the balcony is non existant, they should really warn you more when you book. There was a 5ft 4 child behind us who could only just sit down! The show felt incredibly dated and the vocals were so screechy you couldn't hear the lyrics. Leaving me with no idea of what was going on!

Amazing show

Amazing cast. I want to watch it again already, if you’re small (I’m 5 foot 2) it’s probably worth spending more on tickets so you can see all the stage.

Brilliant Night

Really great show, very atmospheric , everyone loved it including the teenagers. Highly recommend it.

Wonderful production

Terrific acting and singing. Stage was intimate but so much more exciting because we were up close. Only negative was the temperature....it was too warm!

Perfect evening

I was a little bit worried when I wasn’t able to pick what seats I was getting. I should have known better! The seats we were given were absolutely perfect!! The theater is small though so I don’t think there is a bad seat in the house. The Phantom of the Opera was beautifully done and was a great way to spend and evening! Would love to go again and again.
