Wonderful tour of the Abbey

This tour was worthwhile, starting with meeting in the Cellarium for tea and coffee and croissants. Leon was our tour guide, and he was amazing. So knowledgeable and made learning about the Abbey lots of fun. We would have stayed with him for another hour. I highly recommend this tour and fingers crossed you get Leon!!!

Great Tour

Our guide was fun and informative and the refreshments before the tour started gave the guide time to meet everyone and share how the tour was going to proceed. We enjoyed this tour very much and would recommend it highly.

Westminster Abbey

The interior of the abbey is fabulous with all of its details. Guide provided a detailed history of the various areas within the abbey including Poets Corner and all of the major crypts.

Totally worth it

Derek was lovely, very informative. We really enjoyed the tour, definitely one of the highlights of our trip to London.

Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace-a must see!

Tour Guide was extremely knowledgeable about London and Abbey history and shared many stories and historical facts. She whisked us right to perfect viewing spot for changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace after our tour of Westminster.

Excellent way to see Westminster Abbey

Leon was very knowledgeable about Westminster Abbey. He had great vignettes and explained the traditions. Though nothing really explains the Jubilee window-- its just a mystery. I recommend this tour because it is long enoug and comprehensively covers the church. He clearly is a good guide and keeps track of his tourists as well as speaking clearly and loudly enough to be heard. The group was pleasantly small enough to allow a lot of give and take.

Westminster Abbey Experience

The Abbey was beautiful and filled with so much history. The guide could have spoken louder and honestly, I know Westminster is a huge place, but there were things I feel were missed that most people definitely wanted to see. She spent more time talking about the architecture than any of the tombs. We did not stop and get a chance to truly look at any of the famous tombs such as Mary Queen of Scots, bloody Mary, Elizabeth the first, the lady Chapel, tombs, etc. Too much time spent on architecture and getting off topic. She was also fairly abrasive. We did not enjoy as much as when we were on our own looking around. The coffee and croissant prior to the tour was nice.

Missed the tour - unforeseen circumstances

We missed the tour. But the company said they can’t give us credit For another tour on the Viator app.

Our guide Derrick was phenomenal. He knew so much about the Abbey and so much about British history. He answered all our many questions.

Great tour with London eye

Great tour. Your guide Derek very knowledgeable. You could tell he knew and loved the history of Westminster. Worth the money and the London eye was really cool. Definitely do this tour.

Expert Knowledge, Insider Access, Magnificent Tour!

Our Blue Badge guide, Derrick, was superb! After a delightful private breakfast of pastries and coffee in the Cellarium, we were the very first group inside Westminster Abbey, before all the other private tours and the general public. Derrick is extremely knowledgeable, and we very much appreciated his detailed and interesting stories about the history of this magnificent cathedral. He knew exactly how to steer us, to gain the most from our experience. We enjoyed every minute of this wonderful tour. After a quick trip to the gift shop, our other Premium Tours representative, Rashika, safely escorted us on our short walk past the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben to the London Eye (taking great photos of us along the way), where our Fast Track tickets gave us immediate access to the front of the queue. We highly recommend this tour!

Money is better spent going on your own.

This tour would have been better if we had audio. We couldn’t hear our guide at all. We also did not see the iconic graves in Westminster Abbey, such as Queen Elizabeth I and Mary Queen of Scots. We had to go back on our own when it was even more crowded to see what we booked the tour for, including the gardens. For the price we paid, it is best to do the tour solo. We did not see value in the early entry.

Great tour!

John was a fantastic tour guide; very knowledgeable and friendly. It was great to begin our tour first thing in the morning, as the church quickly filled up. Coffee and pastries to start were also very tasty, and a nice addition.

Lovely tour of Westminster Abbey!

Derrick was a fantastic guide. He was so, so knowledgeable of the history and really aware of making our group know what was happening next so we could stick together in such a busy, but amazingly beautiful, church. Was just the right amount of time to spend at Westminster!

Great Experience at Westminster Abbey Priority Access Tour

It was a great experience. Our tour guide Frank was fantastic, very knowledgeable, and very personable. Saw a lot of great things and learned a lot from Frank's presentation. We found the person who met us at the start very pleasant as well, can't remember if his name is Paddington or Winnie.

Great Tour of Westminster Abbey!

Wonderful tour of the Abbey on Wednesday, May 1st . Our tour guide Frank was a gem. Very personable, knowledgeable and patient. We had a very cranky couple on tour with us who couldn’t stop complaining about literally everything. He handled them with grace and kindness. Impressive! We also had a family with 5 children and he kept them engaged as well. Highly recommend both Frank and Premium Tours.

Great day at Westminster Abbey!

Another overcast day in London. And what a wonderful day it was! I toured Westminster Abbey, which was absolutely STUNNING. It legit took my breath away. My tour guide was so knowledgeable and personable and funny. I can’t emphasize enough how everyone should do the tours when you visit Europe. They’re worth every penny. I also rode the London Eye, which was a lot of fun and a great way to see the city from another perspective. All in all, another great day in the UK. 🇬🇧

Extremely Knowledgeable Tour Guide

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about Westminster Abbey. He was on time to start our tour, gave us the perfect amount of information so we could appreciate the beauty, history and importance of the Abbey. My husband and I appreciated his expertise and professionalism.

Special Tour

The amount of history provided was great. I was happy to hear the oldest working garden in the UK was here and it’s beautiful. Walking the building was something I won’t forget.

Early entry

Tour was early (or first) entry into the Abby. We ended up having the coffee first, which put the tour in a full Abby. Guide did not have headset and tour was large, so we spent a lot of time huddled to hear. Tour was very detailed for kids.

No comment

There was no guide waiting for us at 10.00.... We were waiting in the line to enter in the church like others, who didn't pay for priority acess. No comment.

A great tour of the abbey

A great experience with Frank. He was a joy to be with, very knowledgeable and have a century of history in a few hours!

Frank was amazing; so passionate and was so informed and articulate about the Abbey, its significance and its history. I loved this tour and would recommend it to everyone. Great visit of Westminster Abby with our very knowledgeable tour guide Lucy! Lots of valuable explanations provided. Ample time to see the church and take photos. We were accompanied safely to the London Eye, which was also memorable.

Beautiful sites and lots of history.

We enjoyed seeing the Abby and the London Eye. The tour was a bit unorganized with a long wait time. At one point, we were unsure if we had a guide or not. Eventually, we met the guide and was able to go inside. The tour guide was good and provided lots of info, but overall, the organization should have been better.

Inside Access

We met our tour guide at 9, and he took us into the cafe inside the ground floor of the Abbey, which didn't open for tours until 9:30. We had a croissant and coffee while we waited. Then at 9:30, we were already inside and ready to go - not standing in the line outside. The Abbey is beautiful, and I learned a lot from our guide.

Coronation place

Very exciting experience we were able to see where the coronations for queen/king take place. The place is beautiful we went early before was open so line wasn’t bad anyway.

Great Experience

I would highly recommend Premium Tours as I had a great experience with them. This was my second tour with them, specifically I was amazed when I visited Buckingham Palace. It was a special experience and both of the guides were very knowledgeable and friendly.

Must see if visiting London

Great tour with our guide Frank. The Abbey gets very busy inside but Frank knew exactly how to steer us to get the most out of our visit. Frank was full of interesting information and funny too! Westminster Abbey is a must see if you’re visiting London!

One of a kind experience!

What a magical experience this tour was! Frank is naturally charismatic and a really knowledgeable guide, eager to answer any of our questions about the Abbey and its rich history. If you’re interested in the Royal Family or have seen The Crown series this is a must-visit place. It really gave me the chills, knowing that so many important events took place exactly where I was standing. Also the coffee and pastry at the Cellarium Café were fresh and delicious!!

Beating the queues was special

Having a professional guide to explain the history of Westminster Abbey was truly amazing. Beating the queues and walking straight in felt special. Same with the London Eye. Well worth paying extra to not waste time.

A Singaporeans admiration for the beautiful Westminter Abbey tour

As I was on a business trip it was a last minute decision before heading back to SIngapore to go on this guided tour of the Westminster Abbey with the London Eye experience. The day was blessed with bright sunshine, I got there at 9:00 AM and was greeted by the tour guide Ben (I guess, pretty bad with names) who took us to a nice quaint cafe inside the Abbey where I had coffee and croissants and met others who were on the tour. The tour guide was excellent ...so well versed in English history., simply the best. He took us around the soverign's entrance, showing us the ancient coronation chair recently used in King Charle's coronation, and the grave of the unknown soldier. He showed us where famous scientists like Sir Isaac Newton, Stephen Hawkings, and Charles Darwin lay buried or have their ashes interred. The Abbey has a 1000 year history, with over 3000 great figures, kings, queens, scientists, music composers, writers, poets, authors, great military men and religious figures buried there. The art work, the altar, the vaulted celing, the nave, the stained glass work is the most beautiful I've ever seen. If I begin to describe everything I'll have to write a book. I highly recommend this tour to everyone, people who love history and tradition and also who don't as they will begin to admire and appreciate. The BEST part was no queueing and instant access. We then went on to the London eye a short ten minute walk and saw some of the most spectacular views of the most beautiful city of London, truly one of the greatest cities in the world. I hope to bring my family and children on this tour next time and hope to keep coming to London again and again. Love from Geau from Singapore

Fantastic journey through history.

Cellarium should be signposted a little better but there's lots of staff on hand to direct you to the right place. An amazing attraction - lots to see. Great view into English history. Frank the guide was excellent - witty, funny and fully engaged the group. Cellarium cafe make a great cuppa. Great tour.

Excellent Tour, Great Guide!

Guide Frank was excellent, highlight of the tour! The Abbey was beautiful. as a fan of English history, it was fascinating seeing all the kings + queens buried and architecture, though would be equally enjoyable for followers of the Royal Family, or in fact anyone in general! Highly recommend!!!
