London Royal Parks Bike Tour including Hyde Park

The royal parks bike tour was one of the highlights of our trip. The bikes are solid. Bike paths and bike lanes 95% of the time. Great venues to visit. Our guide put the tour over the top. Ask for LINCOLN as your tour guide! He mixed history with urban legend and a great sense of humor to make the day 5 stars! Lincoln is the difference between good and great! Young, bright, totally in the lead even timing our arrival at changing of the guard so we could follow the horses to Buckingham Palace. Please Viator, give that man a raise!

Dan is the man

Dan was a fantastic tour guide! Felt like a friend who is a great storyteller inviting you to tag along on a bike ride through his hometown. Our kids, aged 12 and 15, loved the tour, too. Highly recommend and we agree that it was one of the best afternoons of the trip !

Relaxing and fun

Took another reviewer’s advice and came straight from a redeye to this tour. What a terrific way to get oriented — easy, comfortable biking with fun stops just where you want them. Dan, our tour guide, was a good sport and a good storyteller!

London Tour

Top notch experience! The tour took you to amazing view points of London and a beautiful lunch spot midway throughout the tour. Fat Tire was professional, safe and we had a terrific guide. I would recommend this tour to anyone!

Wonderful family tour of London

Noel led us around downtown on a wonderful tour. He kept our 11 year old super safe, shared lots of knowledge, and made for a great day tour. We previously did a Fat Tire tour in Paris. Always top notch people, bikes, and service.

Worth it!

Great. The tour guides were very nice!! They were knowledgeable and helpful. The bikes were good. Lunch place was nice.

Wonderful snd exciting

My family enjoyed this tour and our guide. We had some unexpected surprises like seeing the Queen and Prime minister in the same day! Each were being driven around at different times during the tour and it was amazing g to see how the security stops traffic to let them pass. It was exciting! We also enjoyed Hyde park but wish biking was allowed in the park. Our guide was very knowledgeable on history and taught us interstate facts.

Fantastic experience

Great easy bike tour

Very good tour covering many of the sights in London. Our guide Lincoln was great and helped bring history to life. The overall biking was easy and fit for purpose of the tour.

Biking in the Rain

It ended up raining on the day of our tour. Our guide Emily was very pleasant and the small group of us made the most of it. The shop offers £1 for a poncho and I’m glad I did. Overall it ended up being a fun day, my favorite activity of the entire trip. You really get to see all the touristy spots with a few uncommon ones, and explore a vast area of London that on foot would’ve been impossible.

Dave was an absolutely wonderful tour guide! He took us all over London and was super knowledgeable. We also too our 14 mo son and it was so fun for him too! 10/10 recommend this way to see London

We had a phenomenal time with Nick as our guide. He shared so much amazing information and even gave us advice for the rest of our trip. If we ever visit another of their locations, we look forward to using their tour services again!

Great way to see London

This was a great way to see the city. Definitely recommend the tour for anyone. It is not a challenging bike ride at all and suitable for most ages. We had two boys 11 and 13 and it was great. Our host Lincoln was fantastic!

Cool Guide Emily

Emily was great, it was a beautiful tour. Nice entertaining anecdotes. Emily was very aware of the bad weather and was very accommodating when it came to getting an early lunch break to avoid the rain. Recommend !

Brilliant experience

Our leader, Emily, was great. She told fabulous stories (one was about Horatio Nelson) and had us act out the parts of history. I liked how she included the kids. It was so fun and my favorite part of the trip to London.

Best way to see the city

Great way to see the city!! Of course you need to be prepared for London weather.. Can be a bit cold and wet.. But we really enjoyed it

Fantastic city tour!

Fantastic city tour! Despite visiting London multiple times, I discovered numerous hidden histories. The highlight was my first glimpse of the King Albert Memorial!

Great experience.

Franklin was my tour guide and I got a private tour because I was the only one in the group. You would think that would lead to an uncomfortable day. But it was quite the opposite. He was super knowledgeable and informative about history and fun facts and I had a great time just riding with him. we skipped lunch and did the trip in three hours which was perfect considering it was very cold and it rained throughout. Most of our ride. It was also cloudy and windy. The fact that he made it fun with all of that happening shows how good he is. The pace of the bike riding is very gentle.

Great way to see London’s main attractions and parks.

This was a great way to see London Parks and main attractions. Duncan was a great historian with stories about different buildings and areas of London. The riding was easy especially with the bike lanes. There was a 10 k race that altered our route, but we were still able to see everything.

Nick was an awesome tour guide. Just flew in this morning and perfect way to stay awake and immediately see all the sites!

Good experience

The day was perfect weather for a bike ride. The tour guide was good. Too bad there's so much traffic and pedestrians to work around. Despite that, I would still recommend it. I wished we would have spent more time in the park and would have preferred the entire time was spent riding and seeing rather than having a break for lunch.

Awesome tour!

James was awesome! We really enjoyed this tour getting a good sense of the city! He was very fun and informative and guided us well! The pint at the pub and graffiti alley tunnel were such fun highlights

The royal london bike tour is a must!

Look no further! The royal london bike tour is absolutely the best way to explore the heart of London and its royal traditions. The tour is perfectly timed and crafted to show you the royal traditions (i.e. changing of the guard), while also keeping you safe on dedicated bike lanes as you cover all the mentioned sites. Our tour guide Nick had the most amazing stories of each of the places we saw, mixing in a bit of history as well as cool, quirky facts that make the buildings and parks come to life. You can tell that the tour has been perfected over many iterations, as the order of stops made sense, the timing felt precise, and the right amount of detail was included. I recommend doing this tour on the earlier side of your trip to London so that you can visit some of the sites more deeply if they spark your curiosity!

Leisurely Ride around London

It was a great ride around London's main attractions and the royal parks. Andrew was a great guide and had many funny stories. The weather was a pleasant summer's day which made a specular lunch stop at Hyde Park.

Great Bike Ride

A bit of exercise and lots of information. We saw horseguards assembled and the parade from the Changing of the Guards at Buckingham. The parks were beautiful. We heard so much history of Westminster Abbey, Parliament, the Royals. Great day !

Fun, informative and a perfect way to spend a few hours in London

This was a spontaneous activity with my 11 year old to be tourist for the day even though we live in London. We had Josh as our guide who is a source of knowledge and kept the tour age appropriate and engaging throughout. Relaxing and lovely to cycle through London’s parks even in a little rain. Bonus to meet some great group companions from the States. Thank you!

Bike, learn, relax

Brilliant Royal Parks bike ride, leisurely, fun, informative.

We had a brilliant time riding around London. We saw so many landmarks and Isaac the guide was fantastic and full of knowledge.

Very little bike ridding

Very little bike riding. We were asked to walk the bikes over 1/3 of the time and then we additionaly stopped every 5 minutes for the guide to tell a story.

Great way to get London overview

We just finished our 3rd London Fat Tire bike tour. This is a must do activity when visiting London -- great overview of key sites. The new office location allows for an even better tour than we've done in the past. Highly recommend this tour.

Our tour leader, Lincoln is knowledgeable about London's history. He was entertaining, reading the group, which included adults and kids. He put safety first and his easy-going nature was a delight. We were fortunate to also have David (a London firefighter) along, as he is in training to be a Fat Tire tour leader. He is also knowledgeable about the area and its history. We highly recommend this tour for adults as well as kids. We all loved it! 10/10 !!

Brilliant bike tour with a great tour guide

What a fantastic tour this was. Lincoln, our tour guide was brilliant. He had so much information or us, and the way he told the stories was so entertaining. He made me want to listen to him. The tour itself was great. Very well organised and paced. It's never too long on the bike before you stop for more stories. The lunch stop is nice, beside the lake. The bikes were great, I was worried the y would be old and tired, but they weren't. Thanks Fat Tire, great day

Lovely, chill bike tour

Lincoln was the best !! Lovely tour with some history lessons and fun trivia. Not exhausting at all and there was a 30 minute lunch break at Hyde Park. Would definitely recommend doing at the start of your visit to get to know the city.

Matt was brilliant!

Matt was brilliant! All 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 teens, loved hearing his entertaining stories about English history. Would definitely do again. The parks were such a nice break from the city and we enjoyed the snack break in Hyde park!

A great tour for our kids

Ashton (or Ashley not sure) was a fantastic guide. We went on this tour because it was off the Roads more so and it went to the attractions we loved. We liked this one so much we booked another through another place in London because the only other tours Fat Tires does we didn’t feel comfortable with because we had our 11 and 12 year old girls with us. We felt this tour was much better than the Love London Tour. Much safe too.. we liked this one more because it hit all the tourist spots worth seeing but we also went through the parks and I love that. Loved the luck stop at Serpentine Lake in Hyde Park. You won’t be disappointed!

Excellent Bike Tour!

What a wonderful experience! Our amazing tour guide, Jamie, (who is also the manager), lead our tour. He has a great amount of historical knowledge. The bike tour is super fun and you get to see so much of the city. Half way, we stopped to have lunch by a beautiful lake. It was mostly flat and easy to do. It is a 5 out of 5 experience!

Educational and fun!
