Highlight of our London Trip

What a memorable day! From the first moment we met our guide to the last bit of the day when we separated, this man was a gem! He took us to the changing of the guard at the appropriate time, perfect spot for pictures. He was funny. He was knowledgeable. He was like a history professor and a cast member of Monty Python all rolled into one. He had bits of knowledge and funny jokes rolling off his tongue all day long -- and it was a LONG day!! Don't miss this excursion

Great tour of London

Will was an awesome tour guide! Very entertaining. I would have liked much more time in Churchill war rooms but our tickets were for 430 and they wouldn’t let us in until 415. Other than that I would say favorite parts were seeing the Russian Pelicans and the war rooms.

Great Tour to see the Landmarks!

My guide Nick was amazing and made this tour fun. The disappointment was finding out the the Changing of the Guard was only on Mon, Wed and Friday and my tour was on a Thursday. Very MISLEADING and disappointing... the description should say that it's only on certain days so it's not false advertising. Suggestion: I know it says the tour ends of London Bridge, but for those also getting the War Room tickets, it would be nice to have a guide take you back. Again, Nick was an awesome guide and will request him when I'm back for the next tour.

Impressive tour of the actual war rooms used by Churchill and his staff

One of the highlights of our week in London was the tour of the Churchill War rooms. Regardless of one's interest level in history this tour will bring to life the magnitude of the WW2 war effort and the role Churchill played in it.

Our guide, Connor, was great! Funny, knowledgeable, great with kids, engaged and interested with his group!

Misleading

This tour is very misleading. You don't do a tour of the Churchill War Roims. You receive a ticket to tour Churchill War Room on your own after your tour of London. Tour guide was fine but very disappointed in the listing and poor inaccurate description.

Not what we expected

Our guide was great. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area. We felt, however, that the ad for the tour was misleading. We thought our guide would be accompanying us to Churchill War-room and would be our guide through out. We thought the time allowed for the tour included the visit through the Churchill exhibit. As it turns out, we were given tickets to go on our own through the war room at the end of the walking tour. We ended up leaving the walking tour before it was over to allow enough time to spend at the war room and still move on to what we had planned after.

Great experience

I would recommend this tour to anyone, it was worth every penny. John was amazing and we learned many new things about the history in London!

Outstanding Tour Guide - 1 of the best!!

Benedict Martin is one of the best tour guides we have ever had in our multiple travels. His wealth of knowledge, his candor and wit, as well as his adaptability to varied audiences was exceptional. Eric & Crystal For Churchill’s War Rooms we can only suggest that the number markers for the audio player recordings be more prominent/ visible as they were oftentimes difficult to spot. Otherwise an excellent tour.

Fantastic tour

This was a phenomenal tour. The group size was just right at 9 people and Connor was very informative, engaging, and a terrific guide! Highly recommended - wear your walking shoes!

Can’t miss activity!

Takes time so plan accordingly n wear comfortable shoes. Historical importance made from these little rooms is mind boggling!

Fun tour with Christopher

We really enjoyed the walking tour with Christopher! He was very knowledgeable and provided lots of info, but kept it fun throughout. Would recommend to anyone looking to hit a bunch of highlights!
