Excellent Jack the Ripper guided walk

Absolutely amazing guided walk with Harry our guide. The tour lasted a full 2 hours and we learnt so much about Jack the Ripper, the women he murdered and what life was like in 1888. Harry was so knowledgeable and was a brilliant guide.

Great historical story of London and it’s storied past.

The tour was fun and very interesting. The guide did a really good job setting the context for what was going on in London at the time and drawing us in so we could experience the stories in context. On this tour, I feel like it really was the guide that made the tour; without his preparation and knowledge, it easily could have just been stories that happened, instead it was a really rich historical lesson. Really good!

A ripping time

A Trip Not to Miss

Ben was our amazing, talented, and well-research guide through Whitehall and the sites surrounding Jack the Ripper. Pictures Ben used showing then and now, brought to life the hard life of the East End at the turn of the century. Ben had great respect for the women who lost their lives at the hand of Jack the Ripper. He has had a life-long interest in this topic, and brings facts not exaggerated colorful theories. Ben was a very interesting person and guide.

Fully immersive experience of these horrific crimes.

WhiteChapel murders tour 9th Feb. 2024

The tour guide Michael was very knowledgable on this subject and passionate about the White Chapel murders. He really brought what living for the poor was like in those times. Really enjoyed it and highly recommend to anyone visiting London.

Ripped off

The whole tour was confusing ….not in chronological order. The tour guide was not engaging and did not seem sure of the facts he was delivering. E.g which shoulder the intestines were on…could have been left could have been right. We left bewildered and lost as after the tour the guide left, leaving us in a different area to which we had started.

We had a brilliant tour guide named Ben who was absolutely amazing! 100% could not recommend enough, he knew so much and was very respectful talking about quiet a difficult subject. Incredibly knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble.

Eva was an outstanding tour guide! She was very knowledgable and animated in her story telling of the Jack the Ripper happenings. Would definitely recommend the tour and Eva!

Real story came alive

Great experience, we would highly recommend this tour. Our guide was very informative and enthusiastic. We did this tour before and is ours second time. The only thing we missed were pictures of the murder victims at the scene.

No show

We showed up 20 mins early and stood for 40mins exactly where the email told us to stand and meet the group. Nobody showed up. We were quite disappointed as we could have planned something else with our London pass if we would have known.

Fascinating learning experience and great tour guide

Ian was my tour guide for the Jack the Ripper tour. I couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. Ian was so friendly, knowledgeable and was very passionate about all aspects of Jack the Ripper. He brought us to all the relevant locations as well. I learned so much from this tour. Highly recommend!

Frank and respectful

This was absent of all bells and whistles. This was a frank and historicaly detailed tour that was at all times respectful of not only the victims but of the people on the tour also. Our tour guide was Konstantine and he was so interesting you could almost forget how cold it was. A phenomenal experience and nothing like I expected. A must for anyone who loves history. Price was also very reasonable for what we got out of it.

The worst tour I have ever been on

This is the worst tour I have ever been on. The guide was was horrible and has no knowledge of the subject, just rambling incoherently. He was very unprofessional and the meetup point was very unorganized. We left the tour after 30 minutes because we could not stand it anymore. A total waste of our night. Do not book this tour.

A well paced, knowledgable experience!

We really enjoyed the tour. The tour guide Ben was very knowledgeable and witty. Everything went at a great pace. A small interruption by a member of the public was handled with very well ! Thank you, I would book with the company again.

The guide spoke well, he was very clear and interesting, there were a couple of small mistakes and a few things were omitted, I realise that as we only had two hours there wasn't enough time to cover everything

Very good tour with facts well explained and context given to help understand the conditions of 19th century east London. A tour everyone should do.

A Must Tour

When in London, you absolutely must take a Jack the Ripper tour. Our tour guide was very passionate about the story and sharing his knowledge. It was fun to walk around at night and see the sights that he was talking about. I marked it down one star because it was difficult to hear him at times, especially when there were other tours around or traffic. We've taken other Ripper tours, and they used headsets so you could hear the guide better, this would have been a good addition.

The whole walk was a very interesting experience. Ian was extremely knowledgeable. To follow the trail of the “Ripper” enabled us to fully understand the conditions in which the poorer people of London lived.

Fantastic tour made all the better by our guide Ian who was friendly from the minute he met the group. He was very informative, funny and by the way he presented the tour showed passion for the subject making the experience great from start to end. Money well spent!

Fantastic, thoroughly interesting and informative tour. I booked this tour for myself and my 2 sons (23/15). The tour guide Ian was a great guy from the moment we met him. Friendly and engaging with a great sense of humour too on what is an incredibly dark subject matter. He was always happy to answer questions and really was money well spent, we all really enjoyed (for use of a better word 😬) it. Thanks Ian!

A great way to see the underground of London

This tour far exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide in was incredible. I love murder mysteries, so jack the ripper I was right up my alley. My husband not so much. But the tour was so cool and it showed us a side of London. We never would’ve seen. Had we not signed up. Highly recommended!!

Couldn’t attend due to a crisis at home and returning back early. Explained this to the company but wouldn’t credit our account or give refund.

Knowledgeable, interesting, not cheesy at all

We had a tour guide called Chris who was fab. The tour takes you through the streets and alleyways of Whitechapel and its great to see the bits of Victorian London which have remained, dotted amongst the newer city. The story of the murders is really fascinating too. The guide kept away from all the gory murder details (maybe becasue there were kids on the tour) and it felt more like a historical window into that time.

Entertaining Jack the Ripper Tour

Philip was a very entertaining and informative guide. He made the tour very interesting which is not an easy task when the older buildings of London have mostly disappeared.
