It it was what we expected it to be. Our guide was quite helpful and friendly. Nothing bad happened on the trip. Got to see a couple of wild animals, and tropical plants.

A Great Bintan Memory

Loved this tour, the guys were very professional and good company. Very reasonable price for the experience. They were very knowledgeable and we saw lots of wildlife in the mangroves. A big contrast to the bustling city of Singapore yet only a short ferry ride away. The tour itself is a couple of hours so you can do it in the morning then have the rest of the day to relax. Highly recommended!

Everything smooth

It was a quaint tour with considerate guides on a small boat through the narrow mangroves. Even saw a few snakes.

Recommended for experience!

It was a good experience. Not crowded at all and it almost feels like we are the only tour in the river. The sound of the motor was really loud as I was sitting at the back and hence couldn't really hear the tour guide explanation clearly. However overall experience was still really good we spotted a few sleeping snakes.

Wonderful

The driver was punctual and friendly, collecting us from a hotel. He handed us over to the two boat crew. We were the only people on the boat - tourism has been hammered by COVID. The boat crew were very accommodating, slowing whenever we wished. They were able to point out various wildlife (mainly tree snakes). The ride provided a beautiful view of the mangroves and the estuary. Also a slightly sad view of disused hotels on stilts above the mangroves themselves. When we returned to the quay, the driver took us to a very nice seafood restaurant - it was quite a drive away from the boat location, but it was just nice seeing countryside. The restaurant was excellent - al fresco, and very fresh seafood.

Star and fireflies

Great service! Driver came to pick us up on time at the hotel and the tour was amazing. Saw lots of fireflies and stars!! Tbh the stars outshone the fireflies a bit. Highly recommend

Bintan Mangrove tour

It was a really nice experience. The guide was very friendly and the boat driver was exellent in finding wild animals :)

THE GREATEST DAY EVER！

On one day trip from Singapore, we joined this tour together with the blue lake tour. In the mangrove tour, I could see wild animals such as monkeys and snakes. In addition, the staff members were so kind and polite that we could enjoy the tour all the time. The day ta Bintan was a greatest ever, and we could make memorable experience. It's thanks to the plan that was considered to be fulfilling, the hospitality during travel, and the personality of Mr. Rio. (The picture is for every tour on Bintan Island.) Great trip

Rio was very punctual and friendly on picking us up and taking us to and back from the place. The boat trip was nice at 4 pm and our 3-year-old son loved it. The engine of the boat was a bit noisy but I guess it's similar for all the boat trips there. All in all a very good experience.

Fun Time!

We had a great time on the river despite the rain. It was exciting to see a snake sleeping above us on the branches and the charcoal kiln was cool too. Unfortunately the weather kept the other animals away. Halfway through our tour it started to sprinkle rain and then it started pouring. Our guide provided rain jackets and did a great job explaining areas of interest. Our captain was amazing and did a great job navigating us back in the pouring rain. My kids (ages 12 and 8) loved it! Next time we want to try the night tour to see the fireflies. Thank you so much, Rio and team!

An easy and enjoyable mangrove tour

The boat was fast and the breeze felt great. You can easily see the large mangrove jungle from the boat. If you're lucky, you might even see crocodiles. The guide was fun and kind. He spoke slowly, so it was easy to understand his English. If you wear a hat, make sure it has a string attached, otherwise it will fly off, so if you're worried about sunburn, it's a good idea to bring a hat with strings and a jacket. There were no bugs at all, but we did use bug spray just in case. Maybe because it's aimed at tourists, the toilets were clean too!
