Greatest waterpark we have been to

Just a great waterpark! The whope system with wristvand was working great, plenty of places to get what you needed so queueing was almost non existent except for the slides and the service was great. All the staff was clearly trying to give a great guest experience, helping, guiding and encouraging the little ones. Also food, ice cream, drinks etc. was very fairly priced at more or less the same as outside the parl and the quality was far superior to to the typical “fairground food”.

Fun day out ☀️

First time at a waterpark and it was actually pretty fun! All the rides were really enjoyable and my friend and I had the best time 🙌🏻 Make sure to get there just before they open as it gets very bussssyyyyy! Also pre pay for your tickets as it’s a lot easier and you won’t miss out! Rides were suitable for all ages would be a great day out for kids and adults! The only negative to the experience was the hassle of going to line up to get a locker, put more money on this bracelet to get food/ drinks, to pay extra for towels etc It ended up being such a long process before being able to actually get into the park and enjoy yourself. There’s a lot of “extras” you need to pay for. I suggest taking your own towels and getting a bigger locker to store all your belongings! Would recommend the park to have that option as your pay for tickets online, then you can just grab your locker bracelet there and go enjoy yourself quickly. Other than that, it’s a good place to spend a few hours and try something different 🙌🏻

Good for kids or extreme riders - not lots in between

We’ve always loved Waterbom but this time, with the new area and some old rides taken down, we were only left with a lot of rides with tight/enclosed parts or enclosed with the crazy coloured circles that just left us all dizzy and sick in the stomach instead of enjoying the rides. With 14&12yos as adult prices, we wouldn’t come back. I’m sure the new kids area will make it fantastic for younger kids. And if you like enclosed water slides, you’ll love it The food is always AMAZING, the staff so fun&friendly and the whole place stunning

Best waterpark that's catered to everyone, don't miss this!!!! Best day in Bali

This is a hidden gem! I honestly did not think this water park was going to be as good as it was but it did not disappoint. I can honestly say this is one of the best waterparks I've ever been to. I was told it was the best waterpark in Asia and I believe it! Such a fun memorable experience. Amazing rides, convenient amenities, clean and great food and snacks. This is an enjoyable day for everyone (families, couples, singles, etc). Some of the rides were moderate (but still fun), and others were very extreme so there is stuff there for everyone. I would love to go again, can't recommend this place enough! I'm in Bali for 2 months and I'm one month in and I got to say this was one of my most enjoyed days here.

Best place for a 5 year olds birthday!

The best day of our holiday. The waterpark is clean and well maintained, lots of helpful staff if you have any questions. Plenty of free sun loungers available. We hired towels and a locker on the day. You get a wristband to add money onto to save you requiring cash/card/phone to pay for items. The new section that opened last year had a beautiful swim up pool bar. Lots of water slides for adults and kids of various heights, our 5 year old had a blast. Will definitely be back when they open the new kids area!

Great park

Park was great. Well established and lots to do. Food and drinks were well priced. Lots of areas to chill in. Didn’t feel crowded and most we queued was 20mins for a waterslide. The only unfortunate thing was the bogan Aussie families. Had to move twice - once because of all the cigarette smoke wafting over to us. The other family just had some full bogan mum yelling at her kids and letting the life guards look after her 2 year old. The park itself though is better than any Aussie one hands down.

Been a long time between rides

Havent been since 1997 when I was a kid and I finally got to take my kids and it has certainly upgraded. Good rides, decent snacks for kids, really clean all over the property, lazy river ride... get rid of those sprayers, makes the ride less relaxing! Great to see this establishment after so many years

Fantastic day for young and old!

Fantastic day out family of eleven from grandparents down to three year old. There was something for everyone, however we found that smaller 5-8 year olds were prohibited from a lot of rides because of their height and there was not a lot for them to do. There is a new section being built that hopefully will take care of this. The park is cashless so we put AUD50 on our wristband to cover food and beverages and collected our unspent money on the way out. All rides were well supervised and the whole park runs like a well oiled machine, even down to the toilets that had a full time janitor. Food from restaurants was good and reasonably priced. We arrived at 10am and left at 6pm. A great day out for the whole family.

The Best!!

The MOST fun day out ever. I would go here multiple times if it were cheaper. We hired a gazebo and it was so worth it to have a base as a large group. The food was consistently delicious and actually some of best we ate in Bali.

Fun and value all rolled into one! Epic family day out

We recently visited Waterbom Park as a large family group and everyone had an absolute blast - Highly recommend! Note: Renting a gazebo was an excellent decision as it provided a convenient meeting spot for our group throughout the day, as well as a great place to enjoy our meals - all of which exceeded our expectations (even the gluten-free and vegan options)! Truly the best theme park food I've ever eaten!

A must-visit for families looking for a fun-filled day out in Bali!

Our family recently visited Waterbom Park, and we were all very impressed. The rides were well maintained, the park was immaculate, and plenty of staff were visible throughout the day! Additionally, despite the park being at total capacity on the day of our visit, we were pleasantly surprised by the efficiency of the ride queues. Waiting times never exceeded 40 minutes, a remarkable feat compared to our experiences at Australian theme parks. Extra Notes/Tips: Don’t bother bringing your kids 'floatation devices' there's plenty there you can use free of charge, and they seem to be extra buoyant! Also, be sure to make time to unwind in the Oasis Garden area in the afternoon and enjoy a cocktail as the sun goes down! It’s the perfect way to end a day filled with fun and laughter.

Thrillingly amazing

This place packs a good punch. Entertainment for literally everyone, all ages. Many different rides to choose from and great food vendors. You may extra for lockers and towels. Lockers are secure. Friendly staff too

Have a day interacting with your family

A great day. It’s a beautiful park with all the amenities you need. What I like the most was seeing teenagers interacting with their parents e.g a 15 year old saying mum come on this ride with me. The park is clean with friendly helpful staff. Safety of everyone is paramount. It really is a great day for all ages.

Best day of our lives!!!! Brilliant fun, great value. Clean, friendly staff, beautiful grounds. A must do. We rented a gazebo on a recommendations which is worth having as a base, but we didn’t spend any time there! Food options galore

Go during the week

I enjoyed the swim up bar and was able to find a lounge to lie on -- some of the rides were very busy and had long lines - I think a weekday is better to go as the locals are also there on Sat/Sun

Awesome waterpark

The waterpark is so fun! The pools are heated so you don’t feel cold at any point. The staff are all very kind. But mainly the food is amazing. We weren’t sure what the restaurant food would be like but we had 3 different dishes and each was incredible. The staff understood about my egg allergy and made a dish without the egg!

So fun!

Such an awesome water park. Waterbom definitely exceeded my expectations. So many amazing slides at all different levels. My son had the best day going on every slide. Love that the gardens are very tropical and well maintained making for nice shade as you navigate around the park. Safety was of a very high standard. Food was amazing with lots of different choices. Even got a foot reflexology massage while I was there.

Amazing fun for the young and old

Best day out with your bathers up your a** I’m almost 60 and I had the time of my life with my daughter and my grandchildren 5,7 & 9! This waterpark is so well run so safe so clean and the most amazing day out. We booked online purchased a Cabana for the day and spent 6 hours having the most fun each and everyone of us. The food was awesome delivered to your cabana. Plenty of shade no ques no more that 5 minutes wait to ride any ride in the park! Australia could learn ALOT from Waterbom. We actually had so much fun that we went again 4 days later! Don’t hesitate it’s fun for all ages

Full fun time

It's not a big park. Fortunately, it wasn't very crowded and we reached at 9 am when the park opens and had already bought tickets online at 15% discount on their site. The standard thrill rides are all there. The wave pool is missing.

Hot day in the sun

Clean and tidy pools and slides where all in good condition no complaints from us family of 6…. I would recommend renting a gazebo this made things so much easier With young kids

Heaps of fun for the whole family!! (if you're over 120cm tall lol)

Waterbom was a blast! We had a family of 11 (8 Adults & 6,4,3yo), and we all went home with a smile on the dial - especially the adults, lol. Tips - hire a private gazebo! They range in price 500, 000 - 2,000,000 IDR and size 2 - 12pax providing undercover shade, come with a lockable safe for your valuables, and are a great base to have lunch, chill out and keep all your belongings. ** 90% of the rides are for a height of >120cm. So if you have a couple of littlies like us, then they can only go on a couple of waterslides, so they're very restricted, and it sucks for them. ** They use a cashless system where you load up money on a wristband upon entry to the park, to pay for food and drinks, etc. If you intend to hire a gazebo, then make sure you put enough IDR to cover the cost of it. They can be "topped up" at various points throughout the park.

Making a splash!!

Awesome facilities, all staff were so accomodating and helpful. The park has so many different activities and water slides to have a go on. Magnificent views from the top Of the waterslide towers, great and varied food options. Make sure you go and enjoy Waterbom Park.

Lifeguard is super inconsistent

I've been going to Waterbom since 2000 and always loved it, but not kn my most recent visit. Their lifeguards were so inconsistent. In the morning, my partner and I wanted to start with our favorite ride, the Boomerang and continued with the the drop. The lifeguard was welcoming and we had no issue going together. A couple hours later, we wanted to go again. We picked up the tube, lifeguard was fine. When we walk up the stairs, we were stopped for a weight check and couldn't go together because of the weight limit. I understand that it's there for safety. But I am super disappointed at the inconsistencies. On what basis do you weight check? Because on the same day, in the morning, we saw 5 different lifeghard and no one stopped us . But at noon, we were stopped?!

A great famiy day

Waterbom was great. All the kids loved it. I don't think it is essential to book a cabana if in the quiet season (we were there January 2024), as there are plenty of umbrellas and places to leave your belongings. You can't any food in to the venue, but the food is not expensive inside.

Great venue- fresh paints ( unmarked) cause damage to swim wear

While the venue is great, and they partially fixed my stained Ripcurl shorts, my Roxy shirt also ad a stain from the wall I was leaning against. Either the paint was fresh or not sustainable. Local food inside us tasty and at reasonable prices, western food is more expensive. Go outside of school holidays and early in the morning.

Be careful, pricing on trip advisor is in usd. Rookie mistake The park itself is great and better than Australian water parks.

Good for kids

It is a good family day but it struggles to cope on school holidays as it is packed . You have to line up for every ride and it is a very expensive day with food and drinks.

Good day out for all ages

We visited 23/12/2023 and had the most amazing experience, it wasn't overly busy and you could get on most rides within a few minutes We also had options on gazebos We also visited 3/1/2024 and it was really busy much longer waits for rides, food and drinks with no gazebos available As a result it's a great day out but you'll get a much better experience if it's not so busy.

Waterbom is the best fun you can have in Bali, even with the kids

Waterbom is truly amazing in so many ways. Having visited water parks all over the world, from Dubai, Singapore, Australia and the US, I was pleasantly surprised at the recommendations and positive reviews Waterbom Bali was receiving. Where do I start? After a few hot days, we decided to hire a Gazebo in advance to relax under the shade in the Oasis Gardens which is surrounded by beautiful landscaping with thick lush green foliage. I was impressed with the affordability of the Gazebo that comfortably caters for the 5 of us. The park is 30 years old, but with recent renovations and great maintenance, the park looks relatively new. Its spacious and well-thought-out layout made it easy to navigate and also distributed the crowd. At no time did we feel as though we were in large crowds. The selection of water slides offered something for everyone from the lazy river to relax and drift around to the fast-paced adrenaline slides. The staff were extremely friendly and well trained and lifesaver staff was abundant around pools and slides. The biggest surprise was the food. Multiple food options throughout the park. The exceptional food would rival many local quality restaurants. We ordered and the Cafe staff delivered the food directly to our Gazebo. The wood-fired Pizza was amazing. I would highly recommend a visit to Waterbom, its got everything you need covered. Feel free to contact me for more finer details

Awesome way to spend a day with kids in Bali

Great place to spend the day. Especially for families. This is a world standard water park. They have just opened up a brand new section with more fantastic slides. Cost is around $50aud per adult so is quite expensive for Bali but it is world class and not dodgy at all. And you have to try the pizza. I'm a mad wood fired pizza enthusiast and these pizzas beat most that I've ever had. Not just the best I've had in Bali, but as good or better than any I've had in Australia. You won't regret it.

Great family day out

Just a really excellent family day out. We paid for hire of one of the deluxe gazebo (mid-range) which gave us towels and water and a shaded base for the day, just across from the Oasis pool (the new area). Got there just before 10am, left ~4pm. Miss 5 year old didn't do much other than swim in the pool (the kids area was a bit much for her with the big buckets of dumping water), but she had a great time. Everyone else went crazy with rides. Pre-payment for 6 (1 famiy ticket + 2 adult children) with gazebo was ~3,600,000 and we ended up spending another 1,300,000 on a full lunch, drinks and some ice-creams. The water in the swimming pools was uncomfortably warm for our tastes, so as adults we didn't spend much time in there. The 3 rides close to the Oasis were all moderate (even though I think one was techinically "extreme") and we all went on them lots of times (9yo-49yo). Tried every ride in the park except the two more extreme "drop" rides. Some of them quite hard on the body, some of them very hot, but all really excellent quality. We went on a Friday just before Australian school holidays started, and there were practically no lines for anything. The staff were uniformly excellent. Everyone spoke good english and were very welcoming and happy and geniunely contributed to a fun environment. Food was solid. We had hot dog, sushi, burgers, fries. Service to the gazebo was great. Only thing we would do different would be to leave earlier, as we caught peak hour traffice in our Bluebird taxi on the way home at 4.20pm. And to wear more hats, as we all got sunburnt on our scalps. The whole photo thing didn't work for us. Checking the photos at the end of a long day was not an efficient or quick process, and in the end we just said sorry we have to leave and made for the exit. All the reviews are right. A great and fun family day out.

Something there for 7 to 70 yrs PLUS

Go early the crowds start coming in around lunch time, we arrived at 9:30 am and was quiet so were able to get to all the slides. We put $50 on the wrist band to pay for drinks and lunch. We took a towel of our own instead of renting towels with a bond amount, many people didn't rent or bring towels as you drip dry quick enough. Our 12-year-old granddaughter and I (69 yrs.) tried 2 of the extreme slides but loved the tube ride down the python slide which is one of the three other MODERATE slides group. The entry is high but at the end of the day we all had fun. A LOT OF STAIRS as you can imagine as the towers are massive!

Completely ridiculous and ruined my day! Don’t bother with this one.

This was my second visit, my first was great, this was anything but. I went to go on a couple of the more extreme rides and I had a metal button so was told I couldn’t ride two of the rides due to this. The option was to turn it inside out, they said you can do this here, I explained I just had swim shorts so could not unless I’d be done for indecent exposure which wasn’t going to happen, they said I could go right back to the changing rooms and change to their swim shorts - which I declined as it was a hassle, in fairness after discussions they refunded 25% of the price, but this could’ve been highlighted or mentioned somewhere prior to entering. I was annoyed at this point as 2 of the best rides were out then I tried to ride the Python and another ride I can’t recall and the staff said I could not as I was as a solo guest under the 100kg required, which is an identical ride to many other parks in other countries, so failed to see why I couldn’t just join other guests in the “raft” but was flatly told no so 4 of the best rides I couldn’t use. I then went to order lunch and had a wait but the price was debited yet my wristband wasn’t feeding through to the kitchen, a lot of wrangling and explaining the exact situations to each and every staff, at least 4 times and I at this point just wanted out of the park, at almost 1pm having planned to stay until 5/6pm but it was a comedy of errors and highly frustrating. Then when I tried to get changed the key band wouldn’t work so that was something else to mess around with and change. All in all a complete mess and maybe I got unlucky with things compounding but the level of communication is appalling and the staff need to be trained to allow solo travelers to be able to use the multi user rides, as management explained could be allowed but wasn’t relayed properly. So I left with a bitter taste and sadly after the first really enjoyable visit, this was a day to forget and to never return to Waterbom, there’s better activities in Bali and the rides aren’t that exciting now.

Slide before you fly!

So many great slides! In such a beautiful setting. One of the best things is that there’s lots of rides you can go down as a couple which keeps it sociable. Make sure to top up plenty on your wrist band as you go in. There’s charges and a deposit on locker and towel rental. It’s a great thing to do before the airport. They will look after your bags. Enjoy!

Best day ever

This was amazing and so much to do not only for kids but adults also. Highly recommended this as a place to go when visiting.

Absolutely Awesome

I was expecting this watermark not to be exceptional, being in Bali, but it was absolutely spotless with very new looking slides and extremely helpful, polite staff. Prices were good. The overall experience was fantastic. This water park is easily as good, if not better than the ones in Gold Coast Australia. Highly recommended!

An Amazing Experience

Our family (2 adults & 2 x 11 y.o. kids) had a blast at WaterBom. The whole experience from start to finish was first class. The staff were helpful, friendly, well trained AND there were LOTS of them! It was also obvious that the management are making an effort to minimize their impact on the environment with their water usage. The food was surprisingly good and reasonably priced. The slides are EPIC fun including lazy river, which was a nice way to recharge. Next time we won't bother with the cabana, we don't think we need it and a locker will secure our belongings. We can't wait to return in 5 weeks!

Well worth a visit

Awesome waterpark. Super clean and not overly crowded at all (even during peak school holidays). Staff very friendly. Good choice of food and refreshments. Kids had an absolute blast, playing all day long.

Fantastic Experience

We were booked for a VIP gazebo and the night before a lot of us got sick, so at 8.30am on the day of our booking they allowed us to change our date for no charge and no problems, which made life a lot easier. On the day of using it we checked in and we’re escorted to the gazebo and through the day we were looked after by some wonderful lady’s from putting money on the account to drinks and food they looked after everything. Everyone had a fantastic time and the best day in Bali, would highly recommend Waterbom Park and the gazebo’s. Many Thanks to Waterbom Park.

Bali's best attraction for the children

We are family of 4 that come to Bali for the first time. One place that our family decided to visit which highest expectation is Waterbom Bali. We all love water so much but our youngest daughter still learn to swim and not able to follow us since some of the rides have restrictions of age and height. With bit hesitate we follow our guts to hire nanny from Dome Bali instead of leaving her behind while we doing the extreme rides. And its worth every penny. Our daughter got instant bonding with the nanny and leaving us happy to explore kids slide. She was in the pool all day, except a moment she ask for a hair braiding and Euro Bungy that she and her brother tried after lunch. Honestly we never seen our children scream in happiness like that before. The lunch was tasty and our nanny is really informative to share which places is great to visit for family after we share our schedule. We went to visit several places until our 8 days holiday ended, but I remember me and my husband made a promise to our children that we will revisit Bali again after we come back from Waterbom. We also want to shout out for our best nanny ever from Dome Bali, as she will be one of the reason we will come back to Bali soon, thank you.

Great day out! Bit expensive but i think it was worth it.

super fun water park. Me and my partner came here on one of our chilled days and had a great time. Waterslides were great, a lot of fun. Highly recommend pre-booking. Also recommend pre booking a gazebo if you intend on getting one because when we went I completely forgot to book one and they were sold out which was a shame. Food is good. Overall a bit more pricy but personally I think its worth it. 

aquatic fun

This is a beautiful water park, very clean, with safety attendants everywhere.The staff are friendly and helpful, and speak good English.We went for our 7 year old boy. I am a senior, senior, and my wife and I did not do any of the activities, except watch our boy at funtastic. The kids water play area is really great for the youngsters. Overall it is costly. We only went to chaperone our boy, yet we had to pay full price. We also rented a gazebo to be comfortable. As it turned out we did not need it and we wasted the cost. The web site does not really make clear the availability of free loungers with umbrellas and tables. If we had know we would not have spent money on the gazebo. In each zone there are about 50 loungers with umbrellas. If you go when they open you will surely be able to claim loungers or a table with umbrella. You can rent a small locker for your valuables. All the other slides and activities looked like a lot of fun if I were a bit younger.

Forget the digital photos at Waterbom folks, this is a rort!

Waterbom Park is no doubt a fun day out, but be prepared to stack your wallet!! The food was good and the drinks were cold, but everything was more expensive than other places we visited in Kuta. But, what I want to warn travellers about and what has taken all the shine off our visit, was the rip off with the photos! We paid for one photo in a folder and then extra to get a digital copy of the photos taken. We were given the definite impression that we would be getting a digital copy of ALL the photos taken for the extra money, however, this was not the case, we only got the digital copy of the photo we already had a hard copy off!! I just resent feeling duped! My advice is do not pay for the digital copy, just take a photo of the hard copy you have and you hve the same thing for no additional cost!

Awesome park great for all age kids an families most of the rides your little ones will have to be 125 cm tall but enough for the younger ones to go on an enjoy the day littles splash pool is awesome also but suggest if you have a little one an a bigger on to take two adults as need somebody to assist baby / kids and on rides

A definite MUST DO when in Bali!

Our family had SO MUCH FUN! We went on almost all the rides, some had longest waits than others but all worth it! We also got a small gazebo, which was great as we didn't have to carry our stuff with us everywhere in the park. There was a small safe in the gazebo too which was good for keeping all our valuable stuff safe. The wristbands they give you to make buying food and drinks in the park are super handy, less time worrying about having to go get your bank card or money from your bag and more time for fun!! Staff were friendly, easy going and helpful, food was great and cocktails were even better! Definitely highly recommend doing this while in Bali with family (or group of friends). 😊
