Jakarta Night Tour : Enjoyable Night time in Jakarta (Hotel Pick-up)

Perfect hotel 👌

I had an enjoyable time in this wonderful hotel. Everything was excellent in this hotel, starting with the reception staff and their manager Khaldoun, who dealt with everyone with all friendliness, and there was Abdul Rahman, that friendly person from the gym who helped me a lot, and Yan, that kind person. The rooms were Clean and tidy, and the food was good, but other items need to be added in breakfast. The swimming pool is wonderful and the gym is excellent. In the end, I would like to thank everyone for the good treatment and I hope to return again.

Jakarta by night

It was an interesting tour. We saw the monument, the mosque, the cathedral, had some street food and saw what the city does on the weekend. Catherine and our driver were very good. Was an enjoyable tour

Great evening tour in Jakarta

We had a lovely evening tour in Jakarta. Our guide Rizky was very knowledgeable, friendly and easy to communicate with. Rizky communicated with us via WhatsApp regarding pick up time from our hotel, and from an operational side it was all very smooth. Rizky did a wonderful job showing us some of the highlights in the city, explaining the history, traditions, culture and introducing us to some great local food. I must also mention our excellent driver who got us everywhere we had to be, driving through some crazy traffic 😊 overall we had a wonderful evening in Jakarta. Thank you!

Amazing night tour

We had an amazing private night tour with Rizky. He is very knowledgeable about the city and is generally a fun guide. He speaks English very well. This is strongly recommended.

Jakarta at Night

I decided last minute to do a night tour of Jakarta. So glad it did. From the start, the Service and communication was great. I was picked up at my hotel and was warmly welcomed by Rizky. He was informative, knowledgeable and made suggestions about what to see and do while being in Jakarta. By just listening, he promptly suggested to some additional places. I appreciated that Rizky was able to be flexible of adapting the tour based on our conversations. Both a great guide and tour. Only suggestion to tour company is the night visit to the port. Not sure that visit is needed at night. But that may just be my opinion. Not much lighting at the port. But Rizky adapted quickly and we continued to another location.

Worth every penny

Rizky was our tour guide the tour was the best I have ever been on. it was full of info and good laughs. He took us to so many great places. What ever you do don't eat the king fruit but that was even a great experience. My wife and I took so many pictures and have memories to share for a long time. Thank you so much Rizky

Best tour in Jakarta for sure !

Amazing night tour with Tashia! I strongly recommend it, the agency is super reactive and flexible and can really build a program to match your expectations. In our case we wanted to do a tour very focus on street food, and thanks to Tashia and the driver we have been able to taste a lot of food in a very local market (we were the only tourist) and then in other places along the way (including tasting of a very known local fruit Duran on little table next to the road where the fruit was cut in front of us, again only local indinesian family around), then went to 2 beautiful places (Land’s end and The Riviera) for a peaceful digestive moment, magic time here ! Strongly recommend, Tashia has a perfect English and is super kind and creative ! Go for it don’t hesitate! Thank you Tashia for this wonderful moment 🙏

We had a wonderful tour around Jakarta at night with Ms. Hertin. She speaks English beautifully and is a wonderful ambassador for her country. Our cruise ship evening tour was sold out, and we feel so fortunate to have spent the night with Hertin. We loved to ask many questions, and she was knowledgeable and patient in her responses. She and her driver knew the backroads and shortcuts and took us to places a large bus could never have gone to. We loved the Jakarta chocolate pancake and testing the local fruit. Rizky did a great job. He was very professional, flexible to adjusting the itinerary to what we wanted to see, and very knowledgeable about his city. Our street dining experience was a highlight. Our driver was a gem. Would highly recommend this tour and our guide.

Amazing and fun night tour

Fantastic and fun tour around Jakarta at night. Seeing all the important places at night gives it a different feeling. especially the New China town is incredible. Despite unexpected extreme traffic, Guide Ben and Driver Yono were an absolute joy to have along for this tour and made the very best of it. very polite, informative and relaxed. 100% reccomend.

Awesome night time experience in Jakarta

We stumbled upon an unexpected adventure on Indonesian National Army Day that far exceeded our initial expectations! Scaling the tank at Taman Pandang Istana Park and snapping pictures with those awesome Army vehicles was a blast. Our guide, Hertin, and our driver, Yonok, were not only super friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about every place they took us. They also introduced us to a whole new area in the north of Jakarta called Batavia PIK. It felt like stepping into a vibrant new city with a completely different vibe from the heart of the capital. The absolute highlight for us is indulging in snake blood with herbal-infused whiskey and savoring snake meat satay, which turned out to be surprisingly scrumptious! The texture, combined with the perfectly blended soy sauce and spices, was a flavor explosion. Without a doubt, this tour delivered a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we couldn't have found anywhere else. Huge thanks for looking after us so well!

A taste of Jakarta at night

Jakarta lights up at night!

I booked a his last minute and was thoroughly pleased with the tour guides and the places we stopped. I ate street food and in Chinatown much more food and novelty shopping. There was plenty to see, from the port to all the monuments. The national monument is closed Monday but the guide knew a place for the perfect picture. Friendly and nice people with lots of history and culture. The old town was filled with many people where the Dutch invaded and built buildings which now are museums and Indonesian state houses and governmental buildings. Would definitely recommend!!! 4.5 hours, could be longer with more people so plan for maybe 5-6 hours depending on group size and traffic to get around.

Can’t miss it

Even the most of places are closed, you will see the different aspect during the night time. Our guide, Jeff, is so friendly.

Very chilled tour of the historical parts of the city!

Really enjoyed the tour with Jeffry. Always like to book a tour when travelling solo and sometimes they can be a bit rushed and “tick list” like - this wasn’t like that at all - it was super laid back, we walked around, soaked up the different areas and moved on when I was ready. We skipped over places I was less interested in, stopped for a drink and/ or paused to chat in a couple of places, and jeffry was fun to talk to and hang out with throughout and was willing to go with the flow. I saw places I wouldn’t have bothered travelling to in such a short trip otherwise, but am glad I saw. Thanks to Jeffry and Iwan - was a really chilled, low stress tour night driving around and seeing the different areas to get the Friday night vibe!

Great Tour, Better During the Day! Incredible Guides!

I did the day and night tour, the Day tour had much more to see, Chinatown, most monuments, the mosque are all closed at night. You can walk around outside and take awesome photos but there is not much to do. The guides are incredible which is why I am still giving this 5*, I appreciate Thomas and Netti (day tour) VERY much. Totally Overpriced

Although the 2 x gentlemen who were my driver and tour guide were very lovely & tried their best, I didn't enjoy the tour at all. It was supposed to go for 4-5 hours.. I was back at my hotel in 2 hours...partly bcoz it started to rain and I didn't wish to walk around in the rain. So for $150 Australian I saw a Mosque, a church and National monument and the harbour with some rickety old boat that I could barely see bcoz it was surrounded by sandbags. The tour did take me to a place with markets etc and we were to walk around and sample Street food but I decided not to as it was raining. I also didn't realise that I would be alone with no other tourists. I felt safe but it lacked atmosphere. For $ 150 it was utterly overpriced. I could have jumped in a taxi and driven around for alot cheaper and the sites I saw weren't anything marvellous.

An enriching experience in Jakarta

Thomas is a highly knowledgeable, wise, and kind tour guide. He provided tons of details (including historical and cultural background information) on the famous landmarks we visited and Jakarta neighborhoods we drove through during the evening. He is well versed in the history of his country, geopolitics, and cultural and religious traditions across Southeast Asia. His descriptions added a lot to my understanding about Jakarta, Indonesia, and its neighboring nations.

Excellent night trip! Visit to street market was very interesting. Our guide was very nice and told us lots of history of city and country. The boat yard at night was beautiful. Recommend if you have no time for tourists activities during the day.

Me and my friend took a tour with Thomas on my birthday. He was an incredible guide, friendly, funny, entertaining and incredibly knowledgeable. We learnt so much about Jakarta & Indonesia from him, and he was patient and responsive to any questions that we had for him. An evening of fun and happiness, and informative as well. Waste of time and money

The night tour was just a drive in the car. None of the places was open. The guide was lovely and friendly but this was not a tour just drive around. I will not recommend it to anyone. I felt it was a waste of time and money.

Rainy day surprise!

Thomas was an excellent tour guide and driver. Despite the rain he navigated all the sites and had excellent stories for each location. Thomas spoke fluent English and brought to life Indonesian history for the kids who were visiting for the first time.

A great--and new!--experience...

The guide and driver were a great team: fun, filled with information, great energy--and did I mention fun? Taking in the "usual" sites but at night presents a whole different angle to the city, and especially (I would think) to a wonderful city like Jakarta.

Awesome Tour

Jose was an awesome guide full of information. Additionally, he was flexible in catering the times at each spot to my desires, allowing me to spend more time at places I found interesting. The Street Food was the best part.

The food street scenes especially the the cobra snakes. Jose really explained some history along with info about the food we were seeing and had us taste a special dessert.

Awesome Jakarta Night Tour

We did the Jakarta night tour and our guide/driver Thomas was really amazing & helpful. He spoke very fluent English and explained all the sites really well. We learned a lot about each place and also Jakarta’s history. We had a lot had fun enjoying the sites and exploring neighborhoods we didn’t know existed. He also showed us some great food places to try. Definitely a must for anyone visiting Jakarta!

Great views of Jakarta at night, with fantastic guide Jose.

Jose was an excellent and considerate guide. We saw Monas, President’s palace, Glodok, New Amsterdam, cathedral and mosque and many things in-between. Stopped for sweet martabak and to see other interesting street vendors, like cobra and durian. We also had good conversation throughout. Highly recommend.

Fun Night Tour of Jakarta

This was a great tour experience. The guide picked me up promptly from my hotel and told me what we would do for the night. He was very knowledgeable and was able to give me insight on the history of the city. Seeing the city at night is a great sight. We also had a culinary tour that night where I was able to try different Indonesian foods. The guide recommends items and will describe what is in it and how it is made. He is also very accommodating and if there is something special you wanted to do or try he was happy to fit it in. Highly recommend this tour service if you are in Jakarta.
