Full-Day Jaipur City Tour with Amber Fort and City Palace

Great experience!

We really had an unforgettable experience. The trip was very well organized. Our private driver was very friendly, welcoming and always perfectly in time. He took us to all the destinations along the trip and we always felt safe knowing he was somewhere around. Especially having perfectly working WiFi in the car, was a great benefit on the drives between the cities. The daily tour guides and the driver always were in touch so we never had to wait and made best use of our time. The hotels and restaurants chosen by the agency were very nice and suitable for a western understanding of cleanliness. Overall, we can highly suggest this trip if you have limited time and want to experience the main attractions and culture of northern India.

An amazing experience of Jaipur

It was the best tour we have had. He was very informational and took us to the best spots. He was so patient and kind to us . The best part was that we felt completely safe and comfortable. He even helped us take pictures and they were amazing. I would definitely recommend this tour and him. Abid was the best and you should definitely book with him .

Day trip to Jaipur

Surya and KK gave us such a fabulous day in Jaipur. We were short on time but a trip by rail was easy. Despite the train delay they helped make up time and we saw all we planned. Surya was knowledgeable and made the day a memorable one. KK got us to where we needed to be safely and swiftly. Thank you!

Brilliant day trip in Jaipur

Jaipur is a vibrant city with so much to take in. We were fortunate to have Surya as our guide and KK as out driver who are from the city and passionate about their home. Despite a train delay at the start of our trip they were easy to find and able to reorganise the day to still experience everything we hoped for. The commentary in good English and insight made us see far more things that we ever could have independently.

Don’t waste your money

Tour was okay. It’s is definitely not worth the cost they are charging. The tour guide did a good job explaining the sites. Took some good pictures too. The thing he didn’t do a good job with was listening. I told him numerous times that I did not want to go “shopping”. Especially not for rugs and jewelry. Half the tour was spent in tourist traps where they “show” how a jewel is shaped or a carpet is made. Then he took me to see miniature painting. Again, complete waste of my time. I was curious about the prices at all these places and to my expectations they were exorbitant. It obviously is a scam to rip off tourists and pay off each guide for bringing tourists to these dumps. Do yourself a favor by not taking this tour. You can take an Uber and save yourself half a day and a ton of money

Impressive palace and forts

When in Jaipur, a visit to amber Palace is a must. The palace is very impressive and offers amazing views over the valley. A visit to the water palace, Jaigarh fort above on the hill Nahargarh fort are also a must to see. Highly recommend for a when in Jaipur ❤️

Praveen (Rocky) was a great tour guide. He shared his knowledge about the local food, sites, and shopping. Anil was an amazing driver that was always prompt and kept us safe. Both of these gentlemen ensured we had a great time in India and saw everything we wanted to, modifying the plans and activities to our liking. Highly recommend this tour!

Wonderful day in Jaipur

We really enjoyed this tour! We were picked up promptly at 8 am at our hotel. The sites we saw were amazing. Our guide Surya was excellent - he was extremely knowledgeable and we learned so much about Indian history and culture. Well done!

Remarkable Jaipur Tour! Must recommended

Pick-up from hotel was punctual. Car transport was good. Generally nice driver and tour guide. Went to the different sites as planned. Most appreciated is the time he took to share his historical knowledge of all the sites we visited. Amber Fort and the City Palace and Hawa Mahal were highlights for me. We had a meaningful discussion with In addition to being a tour guide, he studied law, is also a Yoga teacher, a French teacher and can read your palm. He offered to read all of our palms - we were 13 - and left us astounded by the accuracy of his reading. That aside, his jokes and banter made the trip very enjoyable.

Jaipur City Tour

Surya was very knowledgeable about the sights and friendly and customized the tour to see our desired locations. He also helped with the negotiations with shopkeepers. He was very helpful. Car was wan with lots of leg room and well air conditioned.

Excellent tour of Jaipur Highlights

I enjoyed my tour. Ashok Sharma was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable and provided interesting information about all of the sites we visited. Sambhu also did a great job as our driver, navigating Jaipur traffic to get us to all of the sites. They were on time and kept everything on track while allowing me to see the sights at my own pace.

Great Tour in Jaipur (Caveat about Shopping)

Guide: Ashok Sharma Driver: Sonu Ashok was a very personable and experienced tour guide for the city of Jaipur. He had a very strong knowledge of the city's history and knew all of the best spots at each site to get great photos. Sonu was a great driver. Traffic in India is quite an adventure and Sonu navigated us around safely. If the tour just stuck to the historical sites, we would give this five stars, but the shopping portions of the trip were a little uncomfortable. At the three shopping places (textiles, gems/jewelry, and tea/spices), we got put into pressure-to-buy situations where Ashok would leave us alone with a salesperson. Also, being a tourist that is not used to, or comfortable with, haggling further made the experience uncomfortable. Overall, the day was a positive experience and we would recommend this tour, but prepare yourself to be comfortable saying no at the shopping places.

This was our first trip to Jaipur and we were blown away by the gorgeous sites, incredible hospitality and the attentiveness and care exhibited by our tour guide Ashok Sharma and driver. Highly recommend if you want a personalized experience!!

Ashok, guide in Jaipur

Our guide was Ashok and we had a spectacular experience. He is highly knowledgeable about the history of India and the Jaipur region. We visited several major sites, and he had detailed historical information about all of them. He told us where to take the best pictures and was very flexible about modifying the itinerary as requested. One of the most interesting stops on the tour was the Jaipur observatory which was a fascinating combination of science and astrology. I would highly recommend Ashok to anyone who wants to get the most out of a visit to Jaipur.

Excellent full day tour of Jaipur

We had the best tour of Jaipur. Our guide Ashok and driver Sambhu were the kindest and most knowledgeable guides. There was no way we could have accomplished everything on our own. The tour lasted all day, almost 12 hours, but our guide and driver made the entire day special. Ashok took extra care to make sure we were comfortable, while in crowds, at lunch, at each monument. He went to extra lengths to take the best pictures for us as well, capturing every angle. Our driver Sambhu was kind and naviagted the Jaipur traffic excellently. We thank both of them and the tour operators for such a memorable day in Jaipur.

Tour of Palaces

The visit to Amber Palace was the highlight. I enjoyed the guide’s intel about the maharaja and the building of the accommodation for his twelve wives. The hall of Royals was beautiful and the construction work for that century is amazing

Really enjoyed the tour! Guide was knowledgeable and it was great to learn about the city history. Could have done without the stop at the gem shop, but everything else was great!

Ashok made our day in Jaipur fantastic! Not only was he extremely knowledgeable about all of the sites, he was full of so many fun tidbits and stories. He was very informative, fun, passionate and professional. He accommodated any requests we had and made sure we were fueled up on snacks and refreshments throughout the day. He’s really there for you and wants you to have the best day possible. And he’s a great photographer! Our driver Murari got us through the busy streets very smoothly and comfortably. Overall, it was a really great day tour and I would highly recommend it!

Had a wonderful time with my girlfriend visiting Jaipur. Ashok our guide was exceptional. My girlfriend hadn't been feeling well and he looked after us and ensured we were ok and comfortable the whole time and showed us the beauty of the city.

Surya was a fantastic guide. He showed us around Jaipur and really helped us understand the history of the city. He also always made sure we were comfortable, allowing us to stop for water and coffee along the tour. The driver was also very safe and had our safety as his top priority. I couldn't recommend this tour highly enough.

A magical experience in Jaipur

One of the best tours we ever had. We actually managed to see 6 different locations in less than 1,5 days and that including 2 gigantic palaces. Ashok was extremely attentive, helpful and has shared with us not just local history and top tourist locations, but a number of 'hidden gems' - local places in Jaipur we would not have discovered without him. We also had a number of engaging conversations regarding Indian culture, religion, every day life and business. Will work with him again when we're back to Jaipur

Highly recommended

There were nine members in our group. Nikita Travels arranged a clean, air conditioned Tempo van. The driver, Vishnu was always on time and a safe, courteous driver. Our guides, Rajeev Rathore and Suryakant Palival were excellent. Raj ji arranged the two-day trip over the internet. We have been using Nikita Travels for over 10 years on all our trips to India and highly recommend them.

Jaipur visit

Our drivers name is Shambu and our tour guide’s name is Ashok. Ashok was very professional, pleasant, courteous and well spoken. He wanted to make sure that we understood the history of all the attractions and was extremely considerate of the senior citizens in the group. We really enjoyed exploring Jaipur with him. Ashok is also a very good photographer and knew exactly where to take good pictures from. I would highly recommend Ashok and Shambu to anyone looking to explore the city and learn of all the historical facts. Shambu was also very nice , drove safely and tried to make our journey as comfortable as possible.

Tour & Guide in Jaipur was great....

Ashok and Dareem Veer provided excellent service in Jaipur. Tour itself was great. Driver from Surat to Avda Falia provided very poor service. Upon arrival wasn't waiting for us. Didn't know destination. Would not communicate properly with us. Very poor service from him.

A day to remember

The sightseeing and shopping were enjoyable, I really liked this amazing experience. We visited a huge variety of well-known historical landmarks. The day was very packed. This tour had professional and comfortable transportation, admission to all listed monuments and an Indian buffet lunch. Everything went smoothly and the staff were really helpful. I recommend.
