Amazing trip

The guide was excellent as was the driver and I could not fault them. It was an amazing trip. Casper, the guide was excellent. Casper really knew his subject and did not rush at all. DO NOT go into the café place they stop at on route as they are a total rip-off. Because I was paying attention to my boys, I did not initially pick up on the fact that the café charge £30 for four drinks and for bars of chocolate. If it was not for this. I would have happily given them five stars. Apart from the café, I would be more than happy to book with them again.

On our summer holiday to Hurghada, we wanted to see something from Egypt. We chose Luxor to visit as it was less far then Caïro. With this trip you get picked up by a nice, airconditioned vehicle. We had a really amazing driver Achmed who picked us up at the resort at 5:30. He was such a kind person and made sure we had a good trip to Luxor, as he takes real good care of you! It takes 4 hours to get there. As we arrived, our tour guide Saïd was immediately ready to start. He was such a smart smart person and had so much knowledge. He could answer all of our questions and even though it was 43C degrees, he tried to make it as comfortable as possible. In fact, the whole trip was mesmerizing and mindblowing!

Amazing trip to Luxor

We had a great experience and trip to Luxor through this agency. We were picked up in front of our hotel in Hurghada early in the morning and driven to Luxor where we met with our tour guide at the Karnak Temple. We visited a series of historic sites on both sides of the river and also had a nice lunch and a short cruise on the Nile River. Some negatives: - No bottled water provided even though it was supposed to be included in the price. - Driver barely spoke any English. Overall very good value for the money. This package does not include the entrance fees but this is still a cheaper option than some of the other packages out there.

Long ride, but great trip

It took 5hrs from Hurghada to Luxor and 4hrs for the ride back. Though the ride was long, going to all the sites was worth it. Plus the tour guide was very knowledgeable and the drivers did their best to get us on time.

History Brought to Life

Adil picked us up promptly and our drive to Luxor was smooth, Adil navigated the roads with aplomb. Our guide for the day was called Said and our itinerary included 3 different places, Karnak Temples,  the Valley of the Kings  and Hatshepsut Temple with 2 stops in between, one to a Papyrus shop and then a Alabaster factory. The temples and tombs were truly amazing to experience and Said answered our many questions and was knowledgeable and friendly. A note to say that the demonstrator at the Papyrus stop encouraged us to buy something and we decided to skip the Alabaster factory as it's a long day and we were really just wanting to see the ancient monuments.  As expected, at each exit there are many sellers trying to get your business, they approach you from all directions so do bear that in mind. We would absolutely recommend the tour and Said as a guide

A must-do!

A must-do! A great way to kick off a one day trip to beautiful city of Luxor. Our guide, Said, was very knowledgeable and friendly and we had a great time and a fantastic private tour! He gave us lots of historical and cultural information and was more than happy to answer our questions and full of ideas to make our day great! And another quality: he is taking beautiful pictures! And to not forget our driver, Dans (hope i remember the correct name) who made our trip safe! Thank you both for this wonderful day!

Great trip

We had booked this trip for the next day and got confirmation straight away. Bottled water and a snack was provided which was a nice touch. Our driver Mohammed showed up on time and was very courteous, we felt safe with him throughout the journey even though traffic in Egypt could get hectic at times. The car was new and very comfortable. We were very happy with our guide Said too, he was very knowledgable and respected our itinerary wishes (we skipped papyrus factory and etc). He bought tickets prior to our arrival so we didn’t need to waste time queueing. We also opted for Nile boat ride which was a lovely experience - sipping tea while going to west side (it was only us on a boat which was great). Overall, very happy with the trip - it was very well organised, car showing up straight away as soon as we emerged from the sites. Recommend it!

Trip to Luxor

The Temple of Karnak, the Kings’ Valley and the Temple of Hatshepsut are very impressive. We also enjoyed the boat trip on the Nile. Unfortunately our guide was not that engaged about bringing that amazing ancient history to life. It was rather a monotone “mechanical” talking. Even for us, native speakers of German, it was sometimes difficult to understand her because of her poor German pronunciation. As a person, she was quite nice and gave us some valuable tips about dealing with unreasonable prices and the behavior of quite aggressive shop owners.

Summer is very hot in Luxor

Everything was ok! The guide even helped pay entrance fees as we had no cash. But the weather was terrible. Way too hot. We asked to return quicker so didn't end up seeing everything. Felt safe all along the way.

Amazing Daytrip to Luxor

Our Private Trip was amazing. Pick up time at the Hotel in Hurghada was perfectly arranged. The Driver drove safely and was kindly. Our Guide Elhany was very kindly and had much of informations for us. Also when we asked different things about the history of Egypt and the pharaohs. First sightseeing stop was Temples of Karnak - amazing! Then with a boat to the lunch-Restaurant. From Monuments of Memnon to the Valley of the Kings where we could visit 3 of the tombs. Great to see what they created for each of the pharaohs. We were also alone in few of the tombs, that was great. After the Valley we visited a shop and workstation of Alabaster. You could buy something but you didn't had to. Last stop was Temples of Hatshepsut, the most famous pharaoh (woman) of this era. After that Elhany said goodbye and we drove back home safely. It was a great and amazing day and we will definitely recommend this trip.

Great experience. The driver and the guide were nice and we felt safe on the entire trip. The trip is suitable for elder people as well as the itinerary is flexible and there are occasions to sit down (boat trip, etc.)

Great memories

Get a private tour instead of a group tour.Ali is a passionate Egyptologist, who is very interested in the well-being of his customer and draws attention to the beautiful sides and also gives advice on how to deal with locals when it comes to attractions. His enthusiasm for the monuments jumped over and it was a good feeling to be able to move through the sights with him or to walk alone if desired. Really a great guide and a warm person, whom. i Will back to this trip again! The lunch was designed for tourists, of very good quality and sumptuous, with a view of the Nile. Great memories.

wonderful Experience!

We had the most amazing tour of Luxor by archeologist Mahmoud And make sure we get more with history of valley of Kings. We visited a lot of tombs which were amazing. We stopped a local alabaster factory. We learned how to make alabaster and we bought one piece for our home we are already taking back soon to luxor with this travel agent and wonderful guide thanks lots Mahmoud.

Great day in Luxor!

We enjoy our private day trip in Luxor and it was very good experience! Our drive from Hurgada took all-in-all 8 hours which was quite exhausting, but on the other hand we appreciated the privacy, safety and comfort. Including the sightseeing of an ancient Egypt monuments, we also enjoyed the romantic lunch in a small garden, cruise on Nile river and traditional city market (called suk). During the whole trip, we felt safe and organised, our driver and tour guider were well-managed. The fact is, there is plenty to see during the day and the programme was quite busy, so sometimes we felt a bit hurry...nevertheless we enjoy it :) Our special THANKS to experienced tour guider Sajid and easygoing driver Mustafa :)

Great guide and driver for Luxor from Hurghada- you'll be in good hands!

Wonderful trip. We were promptly picked up from our hotel at the stated time by Ahmed, our driver for the day. He was a safe and courteous driver....Egyptian road travel can be an adventure to say the least but we felt safe in Ahmed's hands at all times. When we arrived at Karnak Temple we were welcomed by our Egyptologyst guide Said, who was very knowledgeable and informative. We were offered options on where to go from there as it was a private tour, and our wishes not to tour the alabaster factory, etc., were respected. We then opted to take the Nile River boat tour which was lovely and relaxing, followed by an included buffet lunch at a clean and inviting restaurant. Then we were off to The Valley of the Kings, where Said recommended three tombs to tour but did say we could choose our own if we liked. We went with his recommendations and they were, as expected, very impressive and his information was the icing on the cake. Both Ahmed and Said were ready to finish the day with more stops but we finished our day there and were driven back to Hurghada, taking in the lovely scenes along the way to Qena and through the desert. I definitely recommend this tour as a great value and pleasant, safe day trip if you are in Hurghada!

Very amazing

My trip from Hurghada to Luxor. We were surprised to see the ancient Egyptian temples. They were huge and had statues of kings. The guide was a nice person. We took many memorial photos and we loved this trip and I hope to repeat it.

Fantastic tour

The trip was excellent, well organized and worth it. The guide told us basic things about sights and some things about the Egyptian country and lifestyle. He was fluent in English and also seemed German.the driver was excellent I heartily recommend this trip.

Amazing and Informative Day

Tha First and foremost, our guide Hazem was extremely knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about the history of these amazing places! He really took his time to explain everything to us in great detail! You could tell he enjoyed talking about this, which sparked out interest and made the whole experience even more engaging! He also had a great sense of humor, so even if we had a really long day ahead of us, we weren't bored once! Also, the drivers were very good and cautious! Generally, there is a lot of disregard for traffic rules and road safety in Egypt, but they managed to make us feel safe! It was a very high-paced trip, with lots of ground to cover, so needless to say it was tiring. Nonetheless, everything we visited was so fascinating, it made it all worth it! I highly recommend it!!

Day Visit to Luxor

This was the 2nd trip with the same provider, was blessed with the same driver that took us do Cairo. Mostafa is a 5 star gentlement, who made our trip extremely organised and we did feel looked after. It was a no hassle day, seen all as per description. Guide Nermeena was OK, extremely professional and able to introduce us to Egyptian culture and history. Boat trip through the Nile relaxing before lunchtime (husband drove the boat), at tombs the train driver offered him the experience of driving the train. This was a great and funny day with lots of culture and warm with lovely people. Do not leave Luxor before the pit stop on the cane sugar drink - nice to have the street feeling. Make sure you take: trainers, snacks, water, sun hat (!!!!), around EGP800 per person to cover entrance fees. And MOST of ALL be free to say what you WISH, or even what you like as this team is literally the best :) * Get small notes to cover toilet entrance fees, and Tip if you like the service.

I had a wonderful time in luxor.if I thought this city is beautiful like i see it I would stay longer time there but definitely will come back again .my tour guide hazem was just perfect and he speaks english very well.i enjoyed this day and had great memories.thanks hazem.

Toll!

Es war wirklich toll. Ein privater Fahrer holte uns ab und begleitete uns den ganzen Tag, sodass wir immer mit dem Auto zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten gefahren wurden. Der Tourguide war sehr kompetent, hat uns viel erzählt in gutem Deutsch. Es war toll eine private Tour zu haben, ohne auf andere warten zu müssen. Würde es jedem empfehlen :)

Journée excellente dans un lieu chargé d’histoire et incontournable !

Journée exceptionnelle ! Visites respectées et des options sont possibles (telles que la traversée du Nil en bateau, dans la vallée des rois d’autres tombeaux peuvent être rajoutés….). Notre guide Mahmoud était super, drôle et très à l’écoute de nos envies de visites supplémentaires. Le seul bémol était notre chauffeur qui avait pour seule obsession d’arriver le premier au Check point !!! Conduite trop rapide et dangereuse !

Cairo Trip ist absolut unzuverlässig. es war vereinbart, dass wir im Hotel in Soma bay abgeholt werden. Plötzlich sollte dafür 30 $ mehr bezahlt werden. Dies wurde von uns natürlich abgelehnt. Anstatt der Abholung um 5:00 Uhr sollte dies dann plötzlich um 3:00 Uhr erfolgen. Dies wurde mit fadenscheinigen Gründen erklärt. Schließlich wurde der Vertrag storniert. Ob wir das Geld zurückbekommen ist noch offen. Von diesem Unternehmen können wir nur abraten.

Neues Auto. Guter Fahrer. Kompetenter Guide... Es geht immer etwas besser - aber meistens weiß man das erst hinterher. Uns hat die Tour gefallen. Es war wie erwartet. An den obligatorischen Zwischenstopps muss man nicht kaufen ...
