I recently had helicopter ride experience with Adam and Grayson, such a incredible tour. Both of them were amazing and guided us all the way, very friendly and cooperative. Would visit them again soon.

Birthday Celebration

My husband and I booked this tour to celebrate our birthdays jointly. The pilot was very very charming and accommodating. The flight was amazing the views spectacular. Lunch at Ecra was beautiful and very impressed that they were so understanding of my dietary requirements (Coeliac Disease and Lactose Intolerance). Would HIGHLY recommend!!

Good way to impress the wife.

Fabulous staff & pilot, did a wine country scenic tour & then landed at Bimbadgen Estate for a three course meal with wine to compliment the food. Exceptional dinner & wine then our pilot returned & flew us back to Cessnock airport. Perfect day.

Great Day

We had a two - winery tasting experience. Pick up from McCaffrey’s and flights to two other wineries for tastings. Despite an overcast day, it was an awesome experience. Our pilot, Adam, could not have been more friendly and helpful. I thoroughly recommend this experience to anyone who enjoys a good wine tour, especially if you’ve experienced the Hunter many times before but not from the air.

Worth it!

So I have now used Hunter Valley Helicopters 3 times. I have done a lunch package with my mum in 2014, a breakfast flight in 2019 and today a wineries and waves flight. Customer Service, Professionalism and overall money for value is outstanding. Im not the best flyer however feel completely at ease with their pilots. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

Experience was just wow. The scenery and valley look good. Moreover the customer service was excellent. Grayson was amazing with his information and flight.

Excellent day

Fantastic, the only way to travel between vineyards, and have an amazing view of the beautiful scenery. No fuss, our pilot Grayson was friendly, helpful and contributed to making it a great day.

Perfect

As part of our total lunch package/experience, the helicopter was the stand out. Grayson made us feel very comfortable, especially my nervous wife who ended up wanting more flight time as the scenic flight itself was perfect in every sense of the word. A taste of the life of the rich and famous when we called Grayson from the winery to collect us after lunch and he glides in over the tree top, sets down and we casually stroll over to "our" helicopter for the flight back to reality

Personalised Day Trip

If you are thinking of booking a Hunter Valley flight, don't hesitate. The valley from the air is absolutely stunning - the greenest January in years! We loved Hunter Valley Helicopters because their service was amazing. From booking, personalising our flight through to our pilot Adam! It was the best day! We flew from Chateau Elan (picked up at our hotel) to Adina Estate where we enjoyed an olive and vine tasting, on to Hunter's Dream then an amazing long lunch at Bristro Molines. We returned to Chateau Elan via Hanging Tree Wines. Adam, our pilot, was knowledgeable, humorous and professional. Thanks team for providing a memorable lifetime experience!

Amazing flight and lunch in Hunter Valley.

I surprised my partner with the helicopter flight and dine in experience at Emersons Restaurant yesterday. Hunter Valley Helicopters have absolutely exceed our expectations with the amazing service provided by our awesome pilot Grayson and Amy (we will be happy to be your first flight when you ready). Thank you so much for the awesome time!!! Hunter Valley is definitely prettier from the sky!

Scenic, beautiful exercise

The helicopter experience was a surprise for my 50th birthday. We were picked up from our accommodation and taken to 2 beautiful wineries. It was a clear sunny day so it was a beautiful experience. Our pilot Oliver was very professional and informative. Highly recommend this to be on anyone’s bucket list!

Awesome flight

The flight was awesome, driver was efficient. The only thing is hunter valley doesn't have those views which need a panoramic view . But overall it was enjoyable.

Everything was arranged for us, our stunning flight over the hunter valley wine tasting at Ivanhoe winery and beautiful picnic to enjoy on the grounds before our return flight. Staff were great and our pilot was wonderful cannot recommend this experience enough

Anniversary flight and lunch

We enjoyed a flight from Cessnock airport to Bistro Molines for lunch to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. The conditions were extremely poor due to the surrounding bushfires, however we felt safe in the hands of our wonderful pilot. Before we could finish our meal, our pilot came to tell us that the conditions were worsening and if we wanted to fly back, we had to leave immediately. While some would more than likely be upset about this, we were happy that safety was at the forefront of our day. We would definitely fly with this company again. We were then able to drive back up to the restaurant for dessert!

Hunter valley helicopter flight

What an amazing experience!!! We did a 15minute flight and had a fabulous lunch and beer tasting at Matilda Bay, then return flight. Bibianne and Oliver were so welcoming and delightful!!! I would definitely recommend this experience especially with the gorgeous views of the Hunter Valley 💚

Very enjoyable flight over wines & mines

Visiting the Hunter Valley in August 2019, I booked a 30 min flight together with my son and his cousin. Fantastic! A great way to see the vineyards and also to take a look at the enormous coal mines. Very professional but friendly approach by our pilot and a tip-top R44 for the flight. Can't ask for anything more, would do again

Birthday done right

Great way to turn 25! Exciting helicopter ride, super chill wine touring: we loved every bit. We never felt rushed by the pilots to finish our wine & it defs reflected so well on the hunter valley culture (from a Sydney-sider). Loved it!

It was amazing a little scary with no doors on but I would do it again the view was great and the staff was good the weather was fine if you haven't done it go and do it

Awesome Experience

Big huge thank you to our pilot Nathan for an amazing experience. My hubby loved it so much he did the pilot training course also a few days later . Very professional team and a must do whilst visiting the Hunter Valley ... Seeing it from the air is so much more than experiencing it from the ground!

A scenic and special experience

We were the first trip of the day but Nate had already made sure the helicopter was in good working order. Nate was very particular about observing procedures (we were weighed and ensured our seating arrangement was balanced). Nate made sure we were familiar with seat belts / use of doors / air vents etc. To help make our journey memorable, Nate took photos of us before we boarded and once we were inside - he is a good photographer as well as being a very good pilot. The flight was very smooth and the view from on high was spectacular - it was nice to see the countryside so green after the recent rain. Nate pointed out major landmarks and tourist spots and one does get a very different perspective from the helicopter. The whole experience was very positive and even though we have been in helicopters before, the flight and service from Nate made the occasion very special.

The view from above of the gardens and all the wineries it was spectacular to see and or pilot Adam Freeman was great full of local knowledge it was well worth the money.

Wonderful way to celebrate

Our 3 children and their families gifted us an overall 20min flight with a stopover at Audrey Wilkinson Vineyard for a private wine tasting and exquisite 'picnic' lunch. Wonderful way to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. HV Helicopters were marvellous in coordinating the event for us to enjoy a hassle free 3.5 hours (albeit we could have taken longer at no additional cost). The staff at HVH were friendly, accomodating and always polite. Their craft was clean, tidy and comfortable. The flight was complimented by the reception, service and wine tasting we received at Audrey Wilkinson through one of their senior staff members. - Fantastic - P&D_N
