A must do experience

This trip was amazing. The scenery was breathtaking and the food was delicious. If I’d have known how good the chocolate was I’d have bought more. The day was incredible value for money, so many highlights. It is a must do if visiting Hobart.

Coastline to Rainforest

Lots of stuff packed into one day! Sights, local produce to procure and a lovely lunch (seafood chowder) yum! Coastline to rainforest Bruny Island is amazing and the people were nice and Bunsy our informative driver had a great sense of humour and kept us on track. Thanks for a wonderful day out:)

Highly recommended

Full on and excellent programme. Our guide Mark was excellent. My friend left her jacket on the bus but upon tracking them down early next morning, they delivered the jacket back to our hotel in time before we left for the airport. 10/10 for customer care. Highly recommended indeed.

Good day out

The driver and Guide Bunzie was knowledgeable and funny. It will be good to include the lighthouse tour in the itinerary. For vegetarians/vegans the options are very limited so better to inform them before the tour to make alternate arrangements.

Incredible Bruny Island - Tasmania

Truly enjoyable tour. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, fun and patient. He customised our tour with a balanced mix of breathtaking landscapes, as outdoor activities, and tasting of the local produces of Bruny Island (fresh oysters, local honey, local cheeses). This great balance allowed our 4-years old son to be fully involved and enjoy together with us the nature (including spotting the white wallabies) and the food. Highly recommended for any age brackets.

Bruny Island day trip

Andrew was amazing. Other than some scenic spots, he showed us historical sights, choclate, wine, beer, oyster farms. He managed people and time well and along with his excellent commentary (he spent his summer holidays and long weekends here growing up) the trip was a breeze.

Bruny, a great day

The trip with Andrew was excellent. I don’t think you can beat a driver with passion for the area and local knowledge. Andrew had plenty and ran the day smoothly. Also Lachlan provided very useful advice which assisted with the choice of Tassie Tours.

Beautiful Bruny Island highlights in a day.

Lovely full day tour - covered all the highlights on this small island with an informative and educational talk. Great to arrive at the pub for lunch having pre-booked our meals, so no wait time. Bus got us back into Hobart before real peak hour hit (despite many late to the bus - not only for morning pickup but also on the island).

Our tour guide (Jodi) was amazing, knowledgeable and friendly. We had a wonderful day in Bruny island and saw lots of wallabies and white wallabies as well as breathtaking scenery of Bruny. Bruny in a Day

A great in depth tour of Bruny Island Gary was our Knowledgeable tour guide who went to great lengths to tell us about the history of Bruny Island Only down side was it would of been nice to have no commentary on the way back, he was full on, engaging us in conversation, when all I wanted to do was rest & enjoy the scenary😊

Great Tour - easy way to see the highlights of Bruny Island in a day

Good experience with Tassie Tours for the Bruny Island Day Tour. Well-organized and pretty easy for travellers - I did the option with the pick up and drop off from a CBD hotel that made it much easier. Enjoyed the food stops including the oysters, cheese, and even lunch at the pub was surprisingly good. Fun to see wallabies in the wild as well. Tour guide Andrew was excellent!

Bunzy is a really knowledgeable and friendly guide! Although we couldn’t stop for long at each place, he was able to tell us a lot of facts about the places. He has a great sense of humour, and awesome taste in music :D. The views at the lighthouse were especially impressive~

We have a superb professional and knowledgeable driver / guide Andrew. A day packed with fabulous sceneries and shopping / eating spots. We also encountered a group of caring travellers. A must for oysters lover. Our lunch stop at Bruny Hotel was great with tasty food.

Great day trip to Bruny Island! Jodie was knowledgeable and showed us around. The weather was good and consisted of ferry ride, taking in the views, walks, and spending money on local goodies.

Bruny Island at its best

We had a fabulous day exploring Bruny Island. Stunning landscape and gourmet food. Seeing the white wallaby was a highlight. Andrew was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. Would highly recommend this tour.

Birthday experience

Totally enjoyed being shown Bruny by our tour guide, Andrew (5star). We got to experience all aspects of the island, and hidden gems that you would miss as an independent day tripper. Enjoyed the sites, wildlife and food stops. Andrew was easy going, fun, and provided good commentary throughout the day.

Bunzy-exceptional tour

Beautiful day. Wonderful and engaging day tour. The tour guide Bunzy was very entertaining, knowledgeable and helpful. He made the tour extraordinary. He told the history of the land with such details and included extra entertaining information. We had cheese, chocolate, honey, oysters and lunch along the way. Bundy you’re a legend mate!

Fun on Bruny Island

A wonderful tour of the jewels of Bruny Island, with great commentary and pizazz from the very knowledgable, Bunzy. Rich in beauty and history and supplemented by plenty of opportunity to taste the food and drink of providers on Bruny Island. We met some great people on our tour which rounded out a very enjoyable day. A nice balance of driving, walking and stops.

Comprehensive tour based on sharing local knowledge.

I booked this trip through Viator but if I return I would definitely book direct with Tassie Tours. The driver and tour leader Andrew was excellent. Pick up place very convenient and right on schedule. It was clear that Andrew had great knowledge and familiarity with the Island and I really felt that I'd got to see the best of Bruny that is possible in a one-day tour. Lunch at the Bruny Island Hotel (cost not included in the tour) was also excellent. My only suggestion for improvement is that once all participants had been picked up it would have been helpful to ask each to introduce themselves and give a very short summary of what brought them to the tour. As a solo traveler i would have found it easier to "break the ice" with others this way. I highly recommend this tour

Excellent tour - exceptional tour

Andrew, our guide, knew the island intimately and ensured we were able to experience its natural wonders. Beaches, coves, forest, wildlife were all a real experience.

Andrew was the loveliest guide with a vast knowledge of local history. This trip did not disappoint. The food, the views, everything was spectacular!

Beautiful Bruny

Excellent tour and Jodi was fantastic! The tour was toddler friendly and everything was easy flowing in the day. We also had some autonomy at a few stops to choose where we spent our time.

Marc was our incredible tour guide and we learned so much! He kept us safe, was fun and light hearted, educational, and accommodating to us (even when we had someone not wake up in time, he went above and beyond to make sure he wasn't left behind). Bruny Island was such a wonderful experience. Beautiful island and culture! We thought this might be a long day, but it went by so fast with all the fun we had together! Thank you so much for such an incredible time!

Great day out.

We had a really great day. Our driver (Chris) told us a lot about the history of the island and showed us some amazing sights. He took us to some artisan shops where we purchased local produce and gifts etc. Lunch at the Bruny Island Hotel was very well organised although you don't have to eat there. You can bring your own food. In all it was a fabulous trip, thoroughly enjoyable and highly recommended.

Had a brilliant day. Weather was good, very interesting and enough time at each stop to enjoy the experience. Chris our tour guide was knowledgeable about Bruny Island and good company. Great people on board. Plenty of photo shots to remember our trip. We were going to drive, so pleased we didn't as we could relax and learn about the Island also we went to places we wouldn't have known about.
