2.5-Hour Ultimate Learn to Surf Adventure

First Surf Lesson between sisters

My sister and I participated in this activity on 15.05.24. It was our very first surf lesson which we were looking forward to. And it was simply amazing!! Everything was absolutely perfect: a Chilean instructor with a top learning method, sunny and mild weather, magnificent souvenir photos and obviously a great atmosphere!! This will undoubtedly be one of the best memories I will keep of these 8 months of living in Australia. Thank you Australian Surfing Adventure !!

Great beginner lesson

I thought it was not going to be a great day because of the weather. However, I was brought to a great location to surf. Staff was very supportive and friendly.

Great experience

Instructors were very patient and helpful, it was a great experience (think we didn’t have a whole 2.5 hours? But it’s okay we were very tired at the end of it!)

Once in a lifetime experience!

This is definitely something fun to do. It is not as easy as it sounds but the directions and model of how to do it made it much easier than it is. The instructors were able to closely notice any mistakes we made and tweak them. They had everyone standing on their boards and riding waves within the 2 hours. Very Fun and pcitures came out great

GREAT Surfing Experience!

We really enjoyed our surf lesson with Arthur (our instructor). We had a small group, which was very nice. Arthur was a great teacher and fun to talk to. Me and my partner both got up surfing quickly and Arthur was helpful with additional tips and tricks. The water was beautiful and the waves were manageable. Arthur gave us some great tips about where to spend time on the Gold Coast and other areas we visited. It was a great price for what we got. I would highly recommend!

Auch a cool experience

It was so much fun and we had one teacher who was great, for three people. Therefore we got to surf a lot of waves and got to practice a lot. In the end I was able to stand every wave.

Best surfing class

Had the best time of our life ! The 2.5hours felt like 30min as it was so much fun ! It was our first time surfing for me and my family but it seemed "easy" with all the good advices from the instructors Jordy and Gavy ! If we had more time in Australia I'd gladly do it again !

You’re never too old to learn to surf

I had the best time today doing a 2.5 hour surf lesson. At 52 I embraced it all with my fellow learners & totally enjoyed my day & watching so many stand up & surf. I managed to get up & achieved my goal. Give this a go. It’s a great morning of fun in the sun, sand & surf ♥️♥️

I highly recommend the Australian Surfing Adventures to anyone wanting to learn to surf or to improve your surfing. The coaches are second to none! Jody, Alex, Remi, Arthur, Ciaran, Cody and the others are all so knowledgeable & passionate about helping us all be better surfers. They offer photos and videos analyses that you just will not find at other surf schools. We have so much fun in our lessons and our one day adventure was the absolute best time. The long standing company has been teaching the locals and visitors to have fun and learn to surf for years and you can always count on a great experience. You will not be disappointed!

Alex is an excellent coach

Alex is such a great coach and is very knowledgeable and experienced. He is so good at always helping focus on the next area to improve on, whether a beginner or a pro. Super positive and highly recommended.

Fun surfing lesson

The surfing lesson was great but it's finished earlier than the stated time. And that's what I disliked.

Went with these guys after being recommended by a local surf store and wasn't disappointed. The coaches are helpful, caring, and pay attention to all the details that help you stand up and have fun. I've been to other surf schools and this is the beset one so far!

Surfing lessons

We did our third surfing lesson with Aus Surfing Adventures and as always it was great fun. The weather was terrible and the surf wild but we still had a great experience. Everyone in the group caught many waves, my kids loved it!

I surfed for the first time and the coach was so kind that he taught us the basic skills very gently. His explanation was quite easy to understand and I felt great surfing on waves. The weather was great and the waves came constantly. So satisfied!

Fantastic surfing experience

My brother and I took a 2.5 hour surf lesson on the Gold Coast and it was great. Both instructors were very patient and went out of their way to help everyone. They made almost everyone stand up on the surf and ride a wave. Thanks guys! We recommend this surfing course to everyone.

Surfing welcome :))

I was a stranger to surfing before I took 2.5 hour class with Australian Surfing Adventures. However, I don't feel like that now anymore. :) I got from instructors so much care and attention that it would count for a private lesson. They both sparked a passion for surfing in me and I am more than grateful for that. It is an incredible feeling to befriend waves. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Actually standing up on the surfboard :D Instructor explained safety & technique on getting up on the board simply and was helpful & experienced. I was at ease and prepped to put words into action. I think next time wearing a wetsuit would help with the cold water as it was on around 23 degrees

Professional from start to finish. Easy to arrange, instructions were clear regarding meet-up etc. Surfing instruction was clear and enjoyable and time in the water was awesome. All in the group stood up and fabulous photos were sent to us. Highly recommended.

Amazing first surf experience!

This was my first surfing lesson ever and it was amazing! The instructor was very kind, enthusiastic and took the time to help you. I took this lesson with my mom and she also liked it, even though she is not fan of the sea! She was kinda scared before we started but the instructor helped her so well.

Great, fun surfing lesson

We were a family of 5 who booked our lesson which was really easy. They gave us clear instructions on where to meet whicwas really helpful. Our instructor Alex was super friendly and helpful when we arrived. He gave us really easy to understand instructions on all aspects of learning to surf. In the water Alex was amazing, helping each of us catch a wave. He made it really enjoyable and all of us had a great time. And we all managed to surf 🏄‍♀️ I would highly recommend Australian Surfing Adventures

More than just standing on your board

My son had an amazing experience. Alex is a good coach, very patient and knows how to teach people with different skills. 2.5 hours will not just get you stand on your board, but also learn how to control your board. Just amazing. Recommend to anyone likes to give surfing a go.

Well worth the experience!

Had so much fun with these guys over a few days. Remy was awesome, not only did he get this overweight, middle-aged guy who has never surfed before to stand on a board consistently, he got my wife to get a good feel for how to surf and read waves, and he also showed us some beautiful parts of the Gold Coast and Tweed we’d never seen before. Highly recommend!

Surfing solo

The instructors were so patient and helpful. My skill level was definitely low too so you don’t need to be embarrassed if you suck! Haha. The water was crystal clear and warm too. Make sure you bring water down to the beach with you, as it’s thirst work.

Excellent surfing! Learnt a lot from my experience and was happy with both my instructors. They were both very knowledgeable in surfing and have me lots of tips to surf better.
