So much fun!

Pavan is an amazing host, I had such a fun night! There is so much to learn about the food and drinking culture in Goa - it’s completely distinct from anywhere else in India. Truly a must do!

A must do Feni and Tapas trail

Having done the Latin qtr trail with make it happen in the past, I wanted to try something new, so I decided to do the Feni and tapas trail this time. What a wonderfully curated walk with the right amount of history and an easy flowing narrative. Absolutely enjoyed it. I got to taste absolutely unique Feni cocktails that were unique yet blended beautifully with the all that I ate and drank. Special call out to My storyteller Pawan without whom the experience wouldn’t have been as wholesome as it was. He was authentic and easy to connect with. Highly recommend the walk and the amazing storyteller

Fabulous tour

We had the pleasure of being taken around the hidden gems to try the local feni cocktails and delicious goan specialities with the lovely bubbly Patulla. She was very informative and good company. We had a great time with her! The cocktails were all very yummy and sweet. Our favourite one was the signature cocktail in Kokum Curry and all of the dishes were delicious, but the pork roast in Welcom Heritage Panjim was just a cut above. Thank you. Highly recommend!

Goan to have a good experience

The experience was amazing specially with Petulla as our Storyteller! The Feni & Tapas food trail was well curated. We enjoyed all 4 restaurants - the food and the cocktails.

Great Evening

Great evening with Petulla. Food and Feni your around Panjim, we visit some cool bars and tried some great food. Petulla was great company and made the evening fun and interesting. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to sample some of the Goan culture.

Great for a taste of food & drink

Highly recommend if you are visiting Panjim and want to sample some of the local food and alcohol. We visited 4 restaurants and had 5 drinks, both food and drinks were great. Our guide, Petula was informative, interesting and very friendly.

So much fun

What can be better than a curated food and drink tour from a knowledgeable local guide? Petulla was a warm and welcoming hostess and imparted her information and banter between delicious bites and feni drinks at four wonderful restaurants. It was a fun and well-designed evening in Goa.

Amazing tour with petulla

We did the tapas and feni tour with petulla. She was absolutely amazing and took us to some great places that we wouldn’t have known about. The information and history she provided about not only the food and feni but the area was amazing. It was very educational but also FUN! The ukra/jungle juice cocktail we had was amazing! We didn’t know about this drink before hand and carried on drinking them for the rest of the holiday. 5* would highly recommend if your staying in north Goa. Thanks petulla!

Wow goa

Pawan our host is really polite and good guy told us about alot of thing's we didn't know . It's was just amazing and the places the feni and learning the goa tradition and the history of goa hlo it all started

Such a lovely experience

I had an absolutely lovely time. Such a great way to meet other travellers and learn about the local cuisine - each place Pawan took us to, was super unique and lovely and the food and drinks were great. Amazing conversations and atmosphere - this was a highlight of my trip. I can’t recommend this enough.

Pawan took is to places we would have never found ourselves. He is very upbeat and knows a lot of facts and he created a nice atmosphere, as well helping us to get home safely.

Best way to experience The Latin Quarter of Panjim!

A really amazing way to experience the Latin Quarter of Goa…through delicious food, fenni cocktails and a brilliant tour. Our tour guide Petulla was amazing!

Excellent food and drink experience

This Feni and food tour provided a real flavour of the different ways of serving Feni and tasting different Goan food, which was delicious. We also got to discover some diverse local eateries which we would not have found ourselves. Plus our guide Petula was absolutely lovely and very enthusiastic. Definitely worth it.

Authentic Feni Experience

The Feni and Tapas food trail by Make it Happen in Goa was a delightful experience. The unique combination of local Feni drinks and diverse tapas offerings provided a rich culinary adventure. The intimate setting of local eateries enhanced the overall charm, making it a memorable and authentic Goan gastronomic journey. As a solo traveler, I often look for experiences where I get to meet other like-minded travelers and locals. Our storyteller Amreen was very warm and we bonded immediately, sharing stories and learning about history and Goan culture. The trail offered more than just a taste of the local drink. It provided a window into the Goan life and was also an opportunity for education and preservation of their traditions. It is a must-do for anyone seeking an authentic experience in this coastal paradise. Cheers to the spirit of Goa!

Interesting and tasty experience

It was amazing and very interesting experience . Pawan is very interesting guide who knows all about history and cuisine of Goa. We were walking down the streets, tried Goan food and also feni.

Delicious food and interesting history

Pawan was an amazing guide, taking us from one place to another, explaining the drinks and food we were being served and the history behind them! 10/10, highly recommended.

Very enjoyable experience

We had a great time with Pawan. There were only 4 of us in the group, which made the entire experience even better! Food was delicious and drinks were great! The Goan food is so delicious! The walk around the Latin quarters at night was so peaceful.

Really enjoyed this. Our host Petulla was great. Good way to meet people when travelling solo. Visited 4 or 5 places and had good food and cocktails. Would recommend.

Fenny Tapas trail

It was a well conducted tour , good snacks and tasty cocktails. However, considering that we visited 4 restuarents wherein we had one fenny shot and 4 more fenny cocktails, at the end of the your the wasn't enough 'buzz' to justify 5 drinks over 3 hours. You could increase the quantity of fenny in the cocktails

Had a really good evening on the tapas food trail. Our host Petulla was great. The food and drinks were good and gave a good introduction to the area. Great way to meet people while travelling solo. Would recommend.

Very enjoyable evening out in Panjim

I highly recommend Make It Happen’s Feni & Tapas tour. Our guide Sejal was a fantastic storyteller and very informative. She was also warm and friendly and made for a fun night out. The spots she took us too were hidden gems that we would not have found on our own. The drinks and food were tasty!

A wonderfully curated trail which should not be missed. Petulla was wonderful and I loved how at ease she was at every spot we visited making the whole experience so much more wholesome. The drinks, the choice of food and all of the tiny details and stories filled my soul.

Perfect tour for foodies

Great tour visiting four local bars/restaurants two of which I definitely wouldn't have found on my own with different tastings in each one. Perfectly paced and expertly lead by Sejal who was fun and engaging the whole time with lots of insights and explanations on each dish and drink.

Fun, food, drinks GREAT VALUE.

My host knows so much about the history and food in Goa. Wow. All of the tapas and Feni drinks were great. One person was a vegetarian so I was able to sample both veg and non veg tapas. He explained the tapas and drinks. We talked about regional Indian/Goan dishes and how they compare to other regions. I never knew how many times of Pav/Pao types there are in Goa. We met at a very historical church. All of the spots were cool; he knows the area very well. I would definitely recommend to others; just pace yourself on the yummy drinks and come hungry. Discover precious hidden hole in the wall gems through the vibrant Panjim city!

It was a wonderful experience. We discovered so many hidden gems that only a local can help us with. Meeting like minded people on the journey made it priceless.. we were part of a joyful group and Petulla hosted and guided us with lot of empathy and care. Petulla also had memorable trivias to share which made our experience even more fun! A must have experience!

Great experience

We had a truly memorable night with our tour guide Sejal. She told us about the culture, history and the cuisine. There were many nice stops for drinks and food. Our tour guide and also the other people in the group were so friendly that we felt like hanging out with friends.

Feni, Food and Fun

Took this trip under the sunny Amreen Shaikh, who has a MPhil under her belt and Panjim on her sleeve. She gave the history of Panjim, its origins and the significance of the various landmarks on this walk around tour. Interspersed with F&B breaks for Feni and food , it was a proper immersive cultural experience. Come on an empty stomach as enough food and Feni keep you busy . Budget about 3 hours …we had a couple of teens but for the best outcome , it’s best experienced as adults .

We had an incredible time with Petulla - she was great and super fun, and the food and drink was fantastic. I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone - it's a perfect mix of sightseeing, food, drink and good times.

Eggstrodinarily eggciting tapas tour with an amazing guide!

Sejal was an amazing guide, with a positive attitude and impressive knowledge. We bonded well with the other guests as well and shared many laughs. Feni was an interesting thing to try, but also the good was good - and a very eggciting story about the final dessert! Have already booked another tour by "Make it happen" and can't wait for another adventure!

Feni and Tapas Food Trail with Sejal

The Feni and Tapas Tour hosted by Sejal was a nicely curated tour that started at the Immaculate Conception Church and covered 4 stops in nice bars and restaurants. The food and the drinks were exceptional and Sejal introduced us to the world of feni with a couple of very interesting stories. We also met really nice people in our group. To sum it up: We had a blast! Thanks for this very nice experience!

Interesting and filling

Sejal was an excellent storyteller, full of information and very knowledgeable about Panjim, Goa and India in general, having travelled all over. There were just the two of us on the tour, so I felt I was talking to a friend more than a guide. There was plenty to eat and drink, and she took me to places I had never been before.

Fantastic feni and fun

This was a wonderful tour - we enjoyed it very much. Our guide Amreen was charming, funny, hospitable and well informed (she is a historian after all). The restaurants and bars were excellent, with delicious food and drink. We went back to several of the places because we enjoyed them so much. A great introduction to the food and history of Panaji. Highly recommended!

A really fun experience, perfect for couples or friends

My friends, fiance and I went on this tour with Petulla. We were joined by another couple. Petulla gave us the space to all interact, while also sharing many fun facts about Goan food history. We absolutely loved trying out the different types of feni. We were a bit concerned about going overboard with the feni, but it was absolutely fine (even the next morning). 10/10 would highly recommend.
