Annecy was quite good with a very good guide, had enough time to explore and didn’t fill rushed. Genève was ok, important spots like UN was covered and overall a good tour and will advise this trip to fellow travelers.

This city was unexpectedly quant and picturesque. The ride there was beautiful and a lovely countryside. I enjoyed all of it.

Total failure

The most memorable part of this journey was when we were given insuficient and incomplete directions and we couldn’t call any one to inform about our problem and to receive help! Therefore we missed the entire trip because of this miscommunication. Total dissatisfaction and disappointment.

A Great Tour

Loved the tour Annecy was really interesting and scenic The city tour was a combination of international plus the old town - very enjoyable The boat cruise was a nice way to wind down with a wine and nibbles.

All good except lake cruise

Annecy is nice but too crowded. Our guide Gabriel was fantastic. Unfortunately, the lake cruise was boring.

You can do this much cheaper on your own - HIGHLY recommended

Honestly, if you're looking to save money, I recommend taking a Flixbus from Geneva to Annecy for 5 euros - it's a lot cheaper than over a 100 for this tour and it takes you to the exact same place! Our tour guide was lovely and 100% a gem, but for those looking to travel and not spend unnecessary money, I'd skip this one. The tour itself in Annecy is relatively short, only about 30 minutes out of the entire duration of this experience. Annecy can very much be explored on your own and that way you have time to grab a pint and enjoy the atmosphere on your own, without doing the tour and then being rushed for photo ops and a meal. I did like the Geneva tour, so maybe the ideal experience is to go to Annecy on your own and then book the Geneva tour with the same company. That way, you get the most out of your money.

Just don’t bother.

Our driver and tour host did well considering, this is NOT against them. I have done tours in several countries now, and this company has been the worst in delivery. Zero signage letting you know you’re in the right place, no real history of area presented ( which is half the reason for booking for me) and overall poorly organized. We booked for the Geneva and Annecy tour and were shuffled between two different tour buses, the first (to Annecy) was TINY and had no restroom despite being the location that needed about an hour to travel to. However, for the Geneva tour it was a much larger bus that did include a bathroom. Very little time in Annecy for a “day trip” about 2 hours in town only. Would not recommend booking this company for any tours. Just book a train ticket to Annecy ( much less expensive) and make your own itinerary. Tour of Geneva, not worth it. Just walk around the city and use any “travel guide” to find points of interest.

Very Disappointing - Missed Half the Tour due to Zero Communication

I can say: Annecy was beautiful, and I'm so glad I took the opportunity to go. It was the arrangement of the tour itself that was a problem. I thought I had booked a full-day experience, returning home around 6pm. But when I got on the tour bus, everyone informed me that no, we would be done at 2pm. We went to Annecy, returned, and were all dismissed and went our own way. I ended up hiking the hill to Saint-Pierre with a few friends I had made on the tour, and 15 minutes later, my phone rang: It was the tour guide, wanting to know why I wasn't on the bus for the second half of the tour. Apparently these were 2 different tour experiences packaged as one? Whatever it is, the setup is terrible and I feel scammed that I paid for a full day and then missed out on half my tour due to incredible disorganization and terrible communication. I feel less bad because I really enjoyed experiencing Geneva with my new friends, and the tour guide was somewhat difficult to understand anyway. But please do not pull this bait-and-switch of a "combined" tour without being more clear about what's going on.

Very disappointed

The trip to Annecy was below expectations. We were brought to Annecy when the city was still opening up. The restaurants open at noon and the bus left at 1.00PM. Very disappointed. Loved the Geneva tour. Gabriel was very good and explained the history in detail. I would suggest doing Geneva innAM and Annecy in PM

Was meant to do Geneva first Many places closed at 10 dumped for 3 hours no guide no maps or suggestions to go anywhere Normund had no idea just a driver The recordred tape repeated very loud waiting room music Geneva guide in afternoon was ok

Great tour!

Gabriel was a great tour host. He knew a lot about the tour and gave us great tips about everywhere we visited. He allowed us to stop off at all attractions and take our time with the views/experiences. 10/10 would recommend!

Annecy is beautiful, but the guide was unqualified

Annecy is worth seeing, and everything was on time and as per description. The biggest disappointment was the guide. He talked a lot without saying anything. “The old town is called that way because it’s very old” sums up the quality of information he conveyed.

A Lovely City!

Anthony is a fantastic guide full of energy and knowledge! We had him for two of our tours this week and we were so excited to have him again for this tour! Annecy is a wonderful city full of colorful buildings, a gorgeous lakeside and a vibrant town! We could have easily spent a few days here. The Christmas Market was a bonus treat! I highly recommend this tour and you’ll be especially lucky if you get Anthony as your guide!

What a wonderful surprise! So many great views with helpful guide, Zakaria, to explain every step of the way. Zak was the BEST! ⭐️ He kept checking on us to ensure we had a pleasant experience. He even loaned us his charger for our phones. The local shopping and food was so authentic and quaint. Would definitely recommend! You can stay with the group or go off on your own. Either way is enjoyable. Safe for all ethnicities. 🫶🏼

Tour guide & all activities were in exactly as advertised. Our guide was very informative & personable. The boat tour was absolutely wonderful, with an excellent captain.

So Worth Your Whole Day

We had the best time. We started from the bus station and drove to Annecy. What a delightful city and so beautiful. Our guide took us around and explained many parts of the city. We had incredible views from which to take pictures. Then we had some free time for shopping and lunch. We found a busy place to eat. Then we drove back to Geneva for a city bus tour. We had to get off the bus and wait 30 minutes for this to start but we jLake ust hung around the bus area. We drove around the United Nations area and many city parks. Everything was beautiful. We went on a little train around around the city and we finished off our day with the Lake Leman tour (they do not call it Lake Geneva) What a great experience.

Geneva and Annecy tour.

The tour of Annecy was fine. Our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The tour of Geneva was however very poor. We rode the small train through the city which should have been great. The problem was that the speakers on the train were awful. We could not hear anything. Very disappointing.

We enjoyed 3 different tour modes, namely, 1. Aircon coach bus around Genève city 2. Mini train ride on Old Town of Genève 3. Electric boat cruise (zero emission) on Lake Genève (Lac Léman) with focus on Jet d'Eau

Annecy was fantastic!

The Annecy portion of the tour was fantastic, the perfect amount of time in the town. Plenty to do and see and we enjoyed the tour at the beginning. The tour in Geneva was so so and a bit cheesy with the little train and cow boat tours.

Geneva & Annecy tour with Lake Geneva cruise

Annecy was the most picturesque town!! It was so pretty ... straight out of a fairy tale! Definitely the "Little Venice" of France!

Worth it!

This tour is worth the price. Very informative. I did the Annecy tour with the Geneva city tour and cruise on lake Geneva. The hosts was very lively and friendly.

Wish I had done these separately….

I did not realize when I booked this it was 4 separate tours…..lake Annecy by bus, Geneva international district by bus, old town by trolley and then an hour cruise of the lake. Made for a very long day. That said each part was good in its own way. Annecy was beautiful if a little crowded. Should have done a day there to go into castle and a cruise in the lake there. The guide in the gebeva bus/trolley was informative and it was nice to remain seated. No narration in boat tour but nice views of city and snacks!

A wonderful experience!

Annecy is beautiful and the Geneva lake cruise was fun! I took a lot of pictures of beautiful scenery, historic buildings and sculptures.The experience was worth the price.

Fantastic 1-Day excursion in Geneva

Annecy Tour was fantastic. Our guide Zara was funny and entertaining plue the coach was comfortable. Annecy was a fantastic city to visit. After our Annecy tour, we proceeded to a highlights tour with Gabriel. Again an excellent guide who explained the highlights of Geneva. A few tour members were obviously not interested in listening and were carrying on with each other, which made it difficult at times to hear. One individual decided to hold a work meeting via Facetime, while others tried listening to the guide. The tour was great; some other adventurers were less to be desired. We changed seats, and it became tolerable. The boat cruise was a must-do. It was a small group (8), and a surprise was homemade tuna salad with cheese and wine. A fantastic trip overall. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Geneva to see the most must-sees in 1 day. Hats off to all of the tour operators. Thanks for the experience.

Beautiful day in Annecy and Geneva

Morning bus trip to Annecy village in France was very special, the guide (Sara?) for that part was very energetic, fun and upbeat. Sufficient time to see the village, grab some great ice cream and pastries before heading back to Geneva. For the afternoon some of us continued on with a city tour of Geneva with another great, upbeat and helpful guide (Gabrielle?). Afternoon tour started by bus to see areas around UN and NGO part of town. Then tour transitioned to walking through the old town of Geneva. At the end of a long day some of us then continued on with an hour long, relaxing tour of the lake. Wonderful time overall. We were blessed with great weather which made things even nicer. Highly recommend on first full day in Geneva as tour provides a great orientation to the city and can help alert the first time visitor to additional sights to see in more detail across the city.

Great tour

Lovely town, guide pointed out a lot of things of interest. Annecy was a lot better than the Geneva city tour.

Tours of Annecy, Geneva and Lake by boat

Time in Annecy was fun, sites picturesque. Our guide for the Geneva city tour, Gabriel, was friendly and animated. The old town tour with little train was informative though sometimes it was hard to be sure which building the recorded voice was referring to. Boat ride was lovely. To improve the trip, the tour company could make sure there’s access to toilets (eg between train and boat). Also the description of this tour could help us be more prepared that it’s actually three different tours—Annecy, Geneva and boat. Knowing that would have prevented confusion.

Bad Experience

We’ve used Viator for 10 years and this was by far our worst experience. We went 15m early to the address listed on the voucher and listed when you click “copy address.” We then waited for 10m and decided to message the tour guide to make sure we were in the right location. We gave them the address and listed the restaurant we were in front of. They replied “hello, yes”. We continued to wait. They then messaged and said we were at the wrong place but our guide was waiting for us. We ran to the other location within 5m but they had already left. We then went to the tour office and met a very rude man who kept rolling his eyes and sighing at us. He told us the address listed on the voucher was for the general area even though it is a specific address that leads you to the wrong place. I contacted Viator about our experience and they said we should have gone to the tour company’s website for the address instead of relying on the address in the voucher provided by the tour guide and Viator. I’ve never had anything like this happen before with the site. Extremely disappointed and makes me reconsider ever using Viator again.

lovely cost effective trip

It was a very nice trip.the guides are very fun and approachable and they explain to you what you want to hear about every place.it was a trip very worthy of the price and I would highly recommend it tp anyone who wants to explore annecy and geneva while savoring it in a quick way.

The guide Zahra was so nice and helpful, I had a wonderful experience. I advise tourists to go to Annecy.

Good tour but time was cut shorter than the said time.

It was a 9 hour tour and they finished it in 4 hours despite saying that it would be a longer tour. Be cautious before you buy this tour.

Absolutely fantastic

The tour was was wonderful. Annecy is picturesque, while Geneva has many attractions. To top it off, we had the delightful Gabriel as our tour guide - a very knowledgeable and engaging speaker who provided us with an interesting overview of the fascinating history of Annecy and Geneva.

Fabulous excursion

The medieval town Annecy was magical and very historical. Our guide was so jolly person made our trip even more eventful. The weather was perfect. The city Geneva is very cosmopolitan and I finally got to see the sites that I never visited before. The Lake Leman tour was really eventful as we had a sudden storm broke out while sailing peacefully after a gorgeously sunny day.

Well Annecy is pretty even when it’s raining. The guide is ok. Not exceptionally good. Geneva city tour is good but the guide is excellent. Very well verse in different languages. Spoke clearly

Overview of Geneva in a bus and scenic visit to Annecy

The tour was informative. Annecy is picturesque and plenty of time to walk around. Zara was a breath of fresh air. The geneva tour involved remaining on the bus and going around understanding the buildings, so that you can visit the tourist areas in your own time later. Would have preferred time to take photos but it wasn’t that type of tour.

Not enough time to sightsee Annecy!

The tour of Annecy is very short so there is not much time to sightsee. Also as it‘s a morning tour, most of the restaurants are closed and they open at the tail end of the tour. It would be better if the tour is longer in duration.

Different type of tour

Anncey is a beautiful town even though it was raining. the tour is a little different as you take the anncey trip first, come back to the bus depot and wait for the 2nd half of the tour. the little train ride through the city was fun and the boat trip nice.

Unfortunate circumstances

Unfortunately the bus was a half hour late. I had chosen this tour because there was not a lot of walking. I have a heart condition. Because of the delay we missed our little train and had to walk through the city. But our tour was abbreviated because of the delay. It was not the guide’s fault. Gabriel did the best he could under the circumstances. But it was a disappointment.

A great overview of two amazing cities

Annecy was something from a picturebook and the food was amazing. We got a great taste of Geneva but I would have liked a little more time to get off the trolley near the park/cathedral rather than the cruise being as long as it was. All in all, it was an excellent day and Annecy alone was worth the price.
