Great tour!

Mike was a great tour guide and shared lots of interesting stories as he drove along with advice on what to do in the places we stopped as well as in Edinburgh when we got back. He made sure to point out the cafe in St. Andrews where the Prince and Princess of Wales used to go for coffee dates when they were at the university, so I’m pretty sure everyone in the group either stopped for pictures or a coffee themselves while they were there. The pace of the tour was perfect and gave us plenty of time to wander around everywhere we stopped

Enjoyed the day and Declan was informative and friendly. The country side was great seeing agricultural areas and the villages we passed through were scenic

Would not recommend

Very disappointed in the whole day! We are 4 seasoned travelers and expect to get what we paid for! This tour was absolutely the worst experience in Scotland so far.We are here whole month!! Guide was not understandable in back of our vehicle, dropped us off at one locations and expected to pick us up elsewhere, not enough time for some attractions….Sorry, not sorry for negative review.

Great points of interest. Could use more time in St. andrews.

Grant, our driver was great. Despite being a little under the weather, he was a real trooper and stuck it out. He was very knowledgeable for the tour aspects but threw many personal experiences in as well. I would highly recommend as a guide…. And driver…. Great skills!!

Wonderful experience!!

We had an amazing time on this tour! The sites are beautiful and Eric was an amazing guide. He even sang a wonderful song for us to keep the rain away and it worked so well!

Trip to St. Andrews

St. Andrews was very nice. I wish we had spent more time there and skipped some of the other sites. The driver was entertaining but he talked more than we would have liked. Some of his stories were a little off color and political for our tastes.

All of the stories that Swain told along the way were wonderful. He dealt with changes along the way, St Andrews graduation, on the fly

Great day trip from Edinburgh

The fishing villages area in Scotland is really beautiful and “off the beaten” track. Beautiful drive and a wonderful guide (Eric) who gave us so much history as we drove. St Andrews golf course and castle were also lovely.

Stewart was amazing!

Stewart was an informative, funny and enthusiastic guide. He provided great recommendations for places to see and eat during our stops. The best part was that he interspersed his stories with music as he drove.

Awesome day!

This was a great tour! Our tour guide/driver, Eric, was very interesting and knowledgeable. He even sang for us :). We really enjoyed all the stops, especially loved the views if the North Sea. I only wished we had more time in St Andrews. The small group was also a selling point for us.

Loved Mr. Duncan

We had a great time with Duncan. We were in town for the Taylor Swift concert and he played Love Story for us while he narrated our drive. Very knowledgeable and kind guide!

Perfect day for fish and golf

We had a great day with perfect weather. Pete was an absolute blast to listen to and also very considerate for our kid with mobility issues. The locations were great and his recommendations were spot on. The time in St. Andrew’s gave everyone a chance to see what they wanted, from the cathedral to the Old Course.

Nice day trip for shopping and sightseeing

Nice day trip to explore the Kingdom of Fife and St Andrews. First stop was a cute Harbor town (Anstruther)and then on to St Andrews where there is something for the golf enthusiast and the shopper. The last stop was a bit disappointing , not much in Falkland All in all , an enjoyable day. Our driver, Duncan, was very entertaining and accommodating.

Unbelievably windy at St. Andrew’s. We had a great tour guide who was very informative and entertaining. I wish we would have had more time at St. Andrew’s

From start to finish. Trevor kept us informed on facts and stories throughout the tour. We had enough time at each stop and still manage to see a number of places. Loved it.

David was an amazing guide! He regaled us with Scottish history as well as many fun anecdotes. We had a thoroughly enjoyable and very memorable day! The bus was comfy and the stops we made in Anstruther and Falkland to book end St. A ndrew were lovely. HIGHLY recommend this tour AND David! Thank you!

Outstanding day trip to St. Andrews

St. Andrews was an amazing place and well worth the trip from Edinburgh. From the Old Course to St. Andrews castle and cathedral, there is so much to see and do. Our driver (Stewart) was phenomenal. He was full of interesting facts about Edinburgh, Scotland and St. Andrews as well as being very attentive to our interests and needs. Highly recommend Rabbie’s (and Stewart)!!

We loved visiting these beautiful fishing villages and seeing St. Andrew’s! Being able to see a variety of towns during our trip was really fantastic. Rhys was a wonderful guide and very knowledgeable!! Thank you so much for a lovely time!

Great road trip to golfs Mecca

Enjoyed the villages we stopped at but St Andrews was the highlight. I was finally able to visit the Old Course and even though I wasn't able to play it was great. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made the trip very interesting

Very interesting tour of contrasts

The small fishing villages were very well worthwhile a look, maybe 10mins less in each place as nothing to do other to walk up the street and back again, many businesses closed. Falkland also well worth the visit but for a shorter time as due to the late hour shops were either closed or closing. This is a bit nitpicking I realise but it makes an overall difference to the day. Without doubt the St Andrews main portion of the tour was excellent. We were left to focus on aspects of this great destination at our own leisure. Rabbies Tours, with their small groups have hit on a very good formula for interesting touring and with the very good guiding provided by the knowledgeable and entertaining Sean, we were assured of a great day. Well done to all concerned

We had a fab day visiting St Andrew’s and Falkland

Loved the stories and dad jokes our guide David told us. St Andrew’s is spectacular! My only complaint would be timing. By the time we reach Falkland the castle was closing and there was only 20 mins till the gardens closed so we missed out on this tour. Maybe Falkland could be first or loose Anstruther

Our guide Ally (Alasdair) was very knowledgeable and friendly. I did however get mixed up about the pick up point, be sure to listen closely! We visited many magical places!

A fun easy day to St Andrew

Staurt was a Great tour guide !!!! We had a wonderful day! Would definitely recommend for someone that wants to get a quick look at St Andrews. Enough time to shop for souvenirs, get lunch and take some iconic pictures.

Nice day trip from Edinburgh without overnight commitment

Rabies team was very friendly and organized at check in. Owen was a fantastic guide- engaging, informative, fun. Bus was slightly aged but comfortable. Great selection of stops.

Great tour and guide!

Our guide, Gavin, was awesome! His knowledge of the area and personal map he provided of the sights in St. Andrew's was very helpful. Although it was a rainy day, he ensured we enjoyed the tour by providing great commentary and related music for the sights we were seeing.

Overall, I really enjoyed the tour, but our guide was a bit inappropriate at times talking about personal and political things. I wish we had more time in St. Andrews.

For us there were no memorable moments on this trip; it was pretty ordinary. There are better tours from Edinburgh.

Excellent local knowledge from the driver, who was careful and smooth. Comfor seats, great places to stop, and timely arrivals and departures.

JP was the Best! get JP as your driver and guide, 10 out of 10 would highly recommend!

We had a lovely time on our journey to St. Andrews. We appreciated the little stops along the way to break up the trip. JP had the best Dad jokes and puns, I'm still looking for that Unicorn JP! He also was very knowledgeable about the towns we visited, were surprised to learn about Johnny Cash Connection in a town we were driving through. He also pointed out the best place to get ice cream and lunch. If you can get JP as your driver and guide, 10 out of 10 would highly recommend!

St Andrews tour

St Andrews was lovely. I wish we had more time in St Andrews itself. We didn’t have enough time to do the golf course at all. The first stop at the fishing village was great, the last village was just ok. Dave was very friendly and personable.

Must Do City Escape

Dave, our driver, was funny and knowledgeable. We loved seeing some seaside towns, and my husband was a bit starstruck as we stood by the 18th green at St. Andrew’s. In town, I had an amazing fish lunch at Tailend (grilled hake with a lemon garlic sauce -delicious!) and superb gelato at Jannette’s Gelateria. Both were recommended by our guide and Rick Steves and we were not disappointed! We also visited a small, picturesque town used in Outlander and got to see the three distinct bridges that span the Firth of Forth. All in all, it was a fun day out of the city.

Great tour! Eric was a wonderful tour guide. He even sang some classic Scottish tunes. The fishing villages were just beautiful and picturesque. Getting to walk on St Andrews golf course was a once in a lifetime experience. We even were able to get a few pictures!

Small group of very awesome travellers. Stevie (our tour guide) was absolutely hilarious and showed us all the best spots in the area. I would definitely book with them again if or when I come back to Scotland!!

We had Jim Scott for our St. Andrews day tour. He was very entertaining and made sure we had a great trip. We loved visiting St. Andrews and Falkland Palace. We strongly recommend this tour.

Fabulous experience

Very enjoyable trip. Our guide, Bobby was great! We visited fishing village of Fife, St. Andrew’s golf course and the town of St. Andrew’s. We saw the University where Prince William and Late met.
