My guide was lovely, st Andrews itself is a pretty lowkey place. If you want a relaxing calm holiday this is the place to go. I really liked that we stopped along the way, felt good to get out often and stretch

Fantastic tour and enjoyed all of it!

We absolutely loved the tour and Graeme was fantastic! He was animated and kept us laughing while providing wonderful facts and stories that made the tour that much more enjoyable. Great amount of time for all the sights and just perfect.

This was an excellent tour. Love the history and charm of the old villages. So much to see. Our tour guide Graeme was absolutely fantastic. So entertaining with his knowledge of history as it pertained to the locations we visited. He made this tour great fun.

Get back to Edinburgh on your own

The bus broke down in St Andrews. Not the fault of any of the tour team, but the response to the issue by the company was unsatisfactory (wait hours for another bus, no voucher to go eat somewhere, nothing). I left, took a taxi to the train, and was back in Edinburgh before the next bus was supposed to arrive to pick up people.

You did it!

Over the top! Our tour guide went out of his way to see that the tour captured everything on the guidebook and more. He was clear about meet ups and the tour stayed on time. Great sense of humor and knowledgeable about Scotland and the area.

Great day! Our guide Peter, was also our driver. Peter was awesome! The history and stories told along the way were amazing! Peter was knowledgeable and made the tour so much fun! We highly recommend this day tour!

Picturesque and Friendly

St. Andrew and the old course are gorgeous. The village was busy but not too crowded and we spent about 3 hours there. I felt we could have used a bit more time there. The villages of fife were picturesque and the locals were friendly. Our guide, Mike was knowledgeable but kept telling us the cool-er things we could've done if we didn't have a coach. He was also a bit hard to understand at times.

Of course, I loved the opportunity to walk around the Old Course at St. Andrews! Memories to last a lifetime. We also thoroughly enjoyed the little villages that we visited.

The views were fantastic! Our driver/guide, Graham had a lot of knowledge and a great way of sharing all information. Despite … a bit of delay due to the bus issue and some rain in the afternoon the journey was amazing! Highly recommended. Thank you Graham for making the excursion very memorable!

Great!

Excellent trip to St. Andrews, along with the Village of Fife and Falkland. Philip was our driver and guide. He was excellent! Very informative and funny! The only downside are the roads around Edinburgh and surrounding areas…it makes the ride in their nice buses a bit uncomfortable.

Excellent Day Trip to St. Andrews and Interesting Villages

Saint Andrew’s is definitely worth a day trip from Edinburgh. Our tour left each stop on time and kept to a schedule without anyone feeling rushed. Our guide, Connor, was excellent, offering a lot of interesting historical information along with some good jokes. I highly recommend this tour.

Lovely but a little dull

It was a beautiful day. Our guide, Marty was excellent. Full of history, jokes, interesting facts. Honestly, I found St Andrews charming but dull- I'm not a golfer. If you are an Outlander fan you will love this trip. The highlight of the trip was meeting two couples who were part of the same family traveling together. They were just such lovely, interesting and accomplished people.

Edinburgh

Fishing villages were nice. Saint Andrew’s was beautiful. Overall a nice tour and would recommend. Smaller mini buses are generally better experience but it was still good with the big bus. Tour guide was funny and entertained during the drive.

Lovely Day

We had the best time visiting some smaller places outside of Edinburgh. Our guide was engaging and full of fun facts to fill the time during our drive. The villages were stunning and so fun to explore.

Fantastic experience

James was an amazing guide and driver. He was a fountain of local fact and historical knowledge. He made the trip. Well coordinated and lots to see with enough time to see.

For golfers.

Very suitable for golfers but Falkland was far too long and little accomplished. Fishing village useful. Stuart’s general and historical knowledge was excellent.

Making memories

My family enjoyed the fishing villages but as a family of golfers seeing and walking the old links course was quite an experience.

Amazing day out with Eric

This was the first time for us doing an organised trip with a guide in a bus, so we didn't really know what to expect. After 20 mins into the ride we knew we made the right decision. Eric could not have been a better guide and entertainer on this tour. Highly recommended!

Wonderful tour, would highly recommend!

We were lucky enough to get Eric as our tour guide. Eric regaled us with his history in Scotland, he played the perfect mix of music along with Scottish history and stories as we went along. It was just an overall amazing experience. My older parents loved it as it was a driving tour as well as you could get out and walk around at many spots along the way to St. Andrews. Would highly suggest this trip if you want to see quite a bit of the Scotland coastline, smaller fishing villages, get out of Edinburgh and spend some time in St. Andrews. Would definitely suggest Eric as a tour guide at any time!

Awesome trip to St.Andrews

This was a great tour. Eric our guide was fantastic and very informative and made the trip so fun and educational. He did not rush us at any stop. St.Andrews Old golf course was awesome and I went on a Sunday the course was closed and you could walk the course so awesome.

A wonderful day trip

Five Bostonians, including several who have visited St. Andrews before, took this tour with Eric, who was informative and entertaining throughout. We were on a smaller van/bus that enabled us to go to the smaller fishing villages of Fife, and the spend several hours in St. Andrews. Eric was a wonderful host and guide, who actually dropped us off by our airbnb when we returned to Edinburgh.

Andrew T was our tour guide and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour! He was accompanied by Jada and Mark, who were observing the tour. Both contributed greatly to the tour process. Andrew provided a wealth of information in an entertaining manner. We would definitely recommend the tour!

Excellent guide

Andrew T was an excellent driver and guide! So helpful and friendly, on top of being really knowledgeable. The town of St Andrews felt a little small for having been given 3 hours in, but other than that had a great time and would recommend to anyone looking to see some smaller towns!

Stunning countryside

Magical moments walking across the Old Course since it is closed on Sundays and you are allowed to walk it. Local St Andrews college kids were trying to raft down the creek on 18, very entertaining! Lot of history in one place. The guide was fabulous at all the stops we made and we found some very unique antiques in Falkland.

A memorable day trip with Rose our tour guide

Rose our driver and amazing story teller took us down the country coast to St Andrews, it was a fantastic day! Rose got us back to Edinburgh safely and in time for a great dinner!

Best Day In Scotland

The trip was informative and extremely fun, largely due to the extra efforts of our guide, Stewart , who was witty and very knowledgeable of the history, culture and current “not to miss” spots all along our itinerary. And, need I say, it is a real treat to visit the Home of Golf with an actual golfer!

Hairy cows

Excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable and went out of his way to make trip enjoyable. Especially seeing the hairy cows and getting to feed them. Made my wife’s day.

Must visit

Inspire of the historical torrential rainfall, we enjoyed our visit. Sadly, my husband wished he could have golfed there, but still a highlight to see as a good lover. Quaint town, enjoyed the castle, cathedral and university campus. Even met a celebrity!

Worth the trip!

Stuart -our tour guide was great- excellent commentary and knew history. Funny. Great trip! Bucket list is checked. Tip: to get the picture on the bridge just have to wait between tee off. Then get out of the way quick! Plenty of time to check out the town.

All I can say is ask for Graham ! He was our tour guide and cannot say enough about how wonderful he was . So funny !! Made the day amazing . St. Andrew’s is beautiful. Graham took the time to show us a few extras on the way . Really great day .

Great time and absolutely recommend!

Graeme was a great tour guide for this outing! We had fantastic stories, history and driving while heading to St. Andrews. St. Andrews is a gorgeous small town/village. We loved the stops in the little villages and photo opportunities. Definitely recommend this trip!

No compassion

My wife became violently ill minutes before the tour left the meeting point. I told the tour manager we could not make the tour and we were leaving to get my wife medical treatment. I requested a refund from viator and they refused. The company’s customer care was far from compassionate. Buyer be ware.

Lovely tour

St. Andrews was a wonderful town with so much history and so much beauty. The drive along the coast was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Watching our golfing friend eyes when she walked on the greens. We also enjoyed walking along the beach.

Loved St. Andrews

Had a good amount of time to walk around St. Andrews, an item that my husband can now check off of his bucket list. The first stop at the fishing village was a nice start. Commentary on the bus was interesting and not too much. The only thing costing a star is that the USB charger did not work.
