Very well run tour, and the crew was very attentive, catering to every individual's needs, from the ones who can swim well to the ones who can't really swim. During the mating season, the chance of seeing the komodo dragons is high, and the rangers take good care of you. In general, the people of Flores are very chilled, polite and hospitable. The beaches and snorkelling sites are great. Highly recommend!

Best day of entire trip! Exhausting but amazing. Kids loved it and so did I. Komodo dragons (5 to be exact), brilliant snorkeling, even a wonderful vegetarian lunch. As soon as I started feeling tired there was ice cold watermelon or water to strengthen me. Wonderful! Don’t miss it!

Komodo Dragons, Turtles and a Manta Ray

The day was magnificent! Super well organised, helpful informative guides. We climbed the volcano, swam with turtles and a manta ray. We were very fortunate to see multiple komodo dragons, both male and female, and young ones.

Everything was perfect: the organization, the guide, the landscape, the people and the animals ... It was just like dreaming with open eyes!!!

Best day ever!

This was an amazing day! Well priced when compared to similar tours run by the luxury hotels, plenty of sights and we did see Komodo dragons. The snorkelling spots were unreal, there were dozens of sea turtles around us at turtle Point and everything we saw was just beautiful. The crew were very helpful and friendly. The boat is an older boat and can get cramped but it did the job.

Amazing experience, get to see everything!!

This was the most amazing trip, it’s a long day but 100% worth it. An early wake up but a quick and easy pick up meant we were quickly on our way in the boat. A small group of us so plenty of space on during the trip. So many amazing stops and so many beautiful views with the opportunity to see Komodo dragons, Manta Rays and so many turtles. The people running our trip were very welcoming and helped us to have the best time with some good food along the way.

Great experience!

Great experience with so many great stops! Incredible views on Padar Island, saw multiple Komodo dragons and great snorkeling! I was most excited about the Komodo dragons but the snorkeling experience was probably my favorite! Our group got lucky and saw a manta ray! Be prepared that the boat rides were a bit choppy and unpleasant at times, but that’s just the nature of being on sea and can’t be helped.

Perfect experience

Amazing experience. Everything was perfect, the 4 guides were extremely friendly and could not do enough for us. The early start meant we were ahead of the rest of the boats and saw all the sights first. The boat was great, not the one on the picture. very Modern and comfortable, ( very clean windows or sit outside) for the approx 12 of us on the tour with toilet and coolbox. The snorkelling gear was in great condition. The guides knew where to find the sharks, turtles and mantas. The Komodo tour was great, the dragons we took the photos with may have been enticed there but we saw plenty of wild ones aswell. Although everyone does the same tour there with Komodo guides. Lunch was good. No need to book on Tripadvisor. Text Doddy direct through the number on their google maps for much better rates. (Around 1.5M in May 24) He was very flexible with cash/card/bank payment.

Fantastic experience!

By far the most well organised day trip I have done. The communication both before the trip and on the day was fantastic. Nothing during the day felt rushed; the whole team were so welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we got the most out of the experience. As others have pointed out, a different (smaller) boat to what is in the picture; I was lucky enough to be in a smaller group of only 15 and we were very comfortable. Lunch was good, and the afternoon snack was unexpected. Plenty of water available. Thanks to the team for a great day.

Don’t think twice! Book it!

Absolutely exceeded expectations. With minimal time in Labuan Bajo, we saw all of the major highlights we wanted to and more! The crew was fantastic and made everyone on the trip feel safe and comfortable. The crew was willing to call audibles in the itinerary to accommodate what everyone was looking for.

Great Komodo sightings

We had a great day seeing the Komodo and snorkeling. We were able to see a handful of Komodos and get some great pictures. The spots that we stopped to snorkel were amazingly beautiful and we saw tons of turtles and mantas. The crew was great and super helpful and super nice. Highly recommend this trip if you enjoy snorkeling I want to see the Komodos.

Fantastic from start to finish

If I had to pick the most important things you look for in a trip this one had them all in bucket loads. Great communication before pick up with all the info on things we needed for the day ahead. Fantastic guide and crew, told us everything we needed to know on each stop looked after the kids amazingly especially during the snorkelling our 9 yr said it was the best day of his life after seeing turtles, sharks and manta rays. Komodo island is what it says, we saw 4 adults and two babies with plenty of chances for petting photos for instagram. Fabulous day can’t recommend enough 10/10

Wonderful experience

This trip was absolutely amazing. Kind and knowledgeable guides, snorkeling was also awesome. Saw manta rays and turtles along the way. Definitely recommend :)

Best tour in Indonesia

Awesome experience

Pros: the tour includes a lot - has an early start then we hop in a speed boat with lovely funny tour guides/staff that explain what we are seeing as we go. We managed to see 4 dragons at the national park and we saw a lovely view at the top of the mountain and a green viper! At manta point we saw a turtle and along the way managed to see 2 manta rays - sadly they were too deep though so it was a bit difficult to see them. The staff are also very generous and gave us so much water, watermelon and a proper lunch at the komodo national Park as well as a cinnamon bun at the end as a gift :) Cons: honestly the only issue is that the boat was very very old and falling apart,specially the interior. The windows were foggy and full of scratches so it was difficult to see out of the window. The toilet was virtually unusable too. It would have been better if we had travelled in a well maintained and newer boat. I'm a bit concerned of the safety in this regard. Overall, this was a rewarding experience and we enjoyed it very much. The views are amazing and we also experienced a wonderful sunrise. Thank you! Terima kasih

Overall amazing, but small boat

Our guides were great, we got to see tons of wildlife and some pretty beaches. The only downside was we had a very small boat that is completely different than what is shown in the pictures. Knowing that, I would definitely book again.

Food , drinks, safety and destinations

The guide and his ream were exceptional. Could not fault them at all . Very well looked after with drinks,food and safety. Absolutely top notch . Someone recommended this company to me so I took a chance and so glad i did . Only 16 of us on the trip .

Exceptional service!

From the outset, the exceptional service of the One Day Komodo boat tour team surpassed all expectations. Anticipating my need for a drone permit, Doddy graciously assisted with the application process, going above and beyond. Despite a setback when my drone went missing, already having the permit, we embarked on the tour with slightly subdued spirits. However, at the harbor on the morning of the trip, Doddy's team informed me that a local had found my drone, demonstrating remarkable kindness and assistance in facilitating its return. Throughout the tour, the crew, led by Herri, exemplified professionalism and warmth, ensuring our comfort and safety at every turn. Despite our fatigue, they accommodated us graciously, even capturing stunning underwater footage of manta rays and corals. Komodo - Manta experience

Amazing day trip ! Very well organized, all staff were great in English communication - we were really lucky by being able to see 2 mantas and 6 Komodo’s ! I truly recommend the journey, very worth it!

Great team, great tour, lovely dragons, mantas & turtles

I did the full day trip to Komodo National Park. The boat was smaller and comfortable and I was glad that the group was not too big (around 18 people). First stop was Padar with the famous viewpoint. I was a little shocked how busy it was but when we arrived at the top of the hill, most people have left as they already made there way down (I guess they arrived with an overnight cruise for sunrise). So timing was good! Our guide speaks good english and it he is also a great photographer because he was keen to take photos of everyone on the viewpoint. Next was pink beach for snorkelling, afterwards Komodo Island. They say that you do not always see the dragons because the island is huge. It is a nice trick to keep people expectations low but in the end I am pretty sure you always see dragons. The area around the beach has food stands and souvenirs and of course this attracts the animals. So when we arrived we saw right away a dragon walking around the beach. It was amazing! We did a little walk with a ranger and saw 5 more dragons. Most of them hang around near the beach. In the end, it felt a bit like an organized „safari“ or zoo because many groups of people visit the island and the stalls of food (you have lunch there) and souvenirs doesn‘t fit to this wonderful piece of nature. I also bet, it will only become worse as the government doesn‘t have interest to control tourism and control it in a sustainable way (see Bali). But this is a different topic and I was just happy that we found the dragons. Tip: if you want the real adventure of Komodo, try to find a private tour with guide who will hike around the island the whole day. Next stop was snorkeling around a sand bank. Due to high tide we started from a point where we could flow with the current and that was simply amazing! Next stop was Manta point and we managed to see 2 Mantas! Also here we used the stream of the current and it was like beeing in a movie theatre. You just let the scenery of wonderful marine life pass by. So colorful, healthy corals, happy fishis. Last stop was snorkeling at a turtle spot. And yes, we saw many of these lovely creatures. Thank you Bintang Tours for making this full day tour so successful, for the nice and helpful team and the expertise.

Great!!

Guides were fantastic! Great long day out exploring. The reef and snorkeling was incredible. My only tip to the guides is to explain to the guests not to kick the reef with the flippers in shallow waters. I did see some other tourists doing this and a briefing to be mindful would be good! The day starts off early, but worth it as you arrive a little earlier then the other boats!

Mesmerizing, Lovely and Close to our hearts

The entire tour was well planned and every activity was well executed. The tour manager and his staff were very jolly and helpful. The food was amazing and our over all experience was Mesmerizing! Thankyou for the great once in lifetime memory :)

Great day in Komodo National Park

An early morning start to the day, but rewarded with being ahead of some of the crowds at the view points throughout the day. Staff were good and knowledgeable about Komodo and the park.

Amazing day!

This was the highlight of our vacation. Our guide Hery was great, very positive and friendly person. The other crew were also very friendly. The hikes and snorkle stops were absolutely beautiful. Thanks guys!

Amazing

This was an amazing one day tour! There were so many highlights and I'm not sure which was my favorite! The view on Padar Island was maybe the most spectacular I've seen. The snorkeling was the best especially with the Manta Rays. And the Komodo Dragons were really cool too.

This was one of my favorite travel experiences ever. The dragons, mantas, turtles, and service were unmatched. I cannot recommend this more. Thank you for the day of a lifetime!

WOW!

The trip was absolutely fantastic. We were very lucky and were able to see Komodo dragons, manta rays, sting rays, several tropical fish, corals, and sea turtles! We even swam next to them! Please be aware that these are national parks and the animals are free, so it is not 100% guaranteed to see all of them and it is not the guides fault. Speaking of which, Andre was simply outstanding, very good English and great knowledge of the marine animals. The trekking in Padar island is intense because the island is very hot, even though it is only 20 minutes. However, the view is worth it and they provide you with plenty of water. All in all, a really unforgettable day!

Amazing experience!

Amazing experience! Views from Padar island are stunning. In Komodo island, we were lucky to see 3 Komodo dragons. Snorkelling spots were impressive: we saw many colourful fish, corals, cute baby sharks and manta rays! Swimming close to turtles, and above the manta rays was the highlight for me. The boat was comfortable, the timing for activities was good and the guides were very friendly and respectful of the environment and the animals.

Excellent day but very overpriced tour

The boat was pretty packed considering the price paid, I've paid alot less for similar tours. Not sure if this is because the tourism industry is still growing in this area, the reason I booked this tour was because of the reviews and because I was on my own, but I recommend trusting in the locals who charge half the price and going with them The komodo Islands were beautiful and the tour guides made the day But definitely over priced

Excellent trip , life time experience

It was a amazing experience for every single place the tour guides took us the tour guides made sure that we were all there and safe he made sure that we were having fun and was willing to go snorkeling again if someone didn’t see the Manta rays he was willing to go again all of the tour guides went out of their way to help us and I recommend this magical experience for everyone.

Amazing day!

Everything worked like promised: pick up from the hotell was on time, boat was good, food was good and plenty of water and soft drinks for everyone, all the crew members were really friendly and helpfull, all the spots where we stopped were beautiful and different to each other with beautiful views and good snorkeling places. Overall it was an amazing experience and I would go again anyday! Just a thing that is good to know that the boat engines are quite loud so especially if you are sitting in the back of the boat maybe bring a pair of earplugs.

Memorable tour in Komodo national park

We had a wonderful time on this tour within Komodo national park. Everything was organized well and the staff were friendly, patient, and took lovely photos & videos for people that wanted it. It starts early but it’s better that way since you avoid the crowds and climb to the viewpoint earlier in the day (it gets hot quick). Seeing manta rays and turtles while snorkelling was definitely the highlight for me!

Amazing tour!

Amazing tour, well organized. We were about 13-15 people on the boat. The guides/crew were very friendly, they explain us in details the itinerary and took amazing pictures and videos for us. They brought us to pink beach before all the other tourists. We were lucky to see mantas & Komodo dragons during the trip. That was a fabulous day/tour!

Great organization and nice people

Great experience, a guide was very helpful and spoke good English. They took excellent care of us with watermelons, water, coke and always making sure everyone is alright. They also took great care of a person that cut their leg.

Amazing experience

Fullu recommend to go on this trip! The tour guide was very nice and helpful and the places that we visited were very beautiful. We swam with manta rays, turtules and we even saw a shark!

A memorable adventure

The boat was comfortable and fast. Water, coke, lunch and an afternoon snack was provided. Friendly and knowledgeable guides who helped and encouraged people that weren't confident swimmers with the snorkeling. Good variety of places to visit.

Komodo experience

The climb to the top of the mountain was a bit of a struggle, but the view of all three beaches was amazing!

100% recommend for Komodo Day Trip!

Perfect day trip to see Komodo National Park! We stayed in Labuan Bajo for 3 nights and did the full 1 day tour with Bintang Komodo Tours! Hugo our guide was very friendly and helpful, and the tour couldn’t have been any better! We saw everything we wanted to see, Padar Island, Pink Beach, Komodo Dragons, Manta Rays and Turtles, and the beautiful Taka Makassar Island! Incredible views and wild life!

An excellent and unforgettable day trip.

Our day trip with Bintang Komodo Tours was excellent. Well organised, pick up on time and a very good team. It was reassuring to be contacted the day before with confirmation of pick up time and suggestions of appropriate clothing, etc. We were especially glad we took sturdy footwear as the tour began with a steep climb on Padar Island (breathtaking views), and the terrain in the National Park is rough and dusty. We saw Komodo dragons and had several swimming and snorkelling stops, the guides were very keen that we made the best of the day, were helpful and informative and made sure we were aware of the strength of the sun, comfortable with the equipment and stayed safe in the water. Without doubt the highlight of our trip was swimming among manta rays, it was an amazing experience. Lunch and snacks were provided along with plenty of cold bottled water, but we did wish we’d packed some snacks of our own as it’s a long, hot day. It was a power boat with 2 big outboard engines and 12 passengers so there was plenty of room. We thoroughly enjoyed it and felt we had made a good choice of tour company.

A wonderful experience

A wonderful day out.Beautiful scenery, unique landscape, flora and fauna. We had a toddler (who absolutely enjoyed the whole trip) and staff were very helpful in terms of accommodating us. This part of the world is amazing.

Highly Recommend!

I highly recommend this tour. It's a long day but very well-organized, action-packed, and goes by fast. The boat to the national park is small, so if you get seasick, be prepared before getting in the boat. After that, the rides are short. We got to see Komodo dragons, pink beach, and basically all of the Instagrammable spots. The guides speak English and are extremely helpful. We had a great day!
