Perfect morning

Our tour guide Maha, Ashraf and our Quad bike guys was amazing. We love the experience from quadbike to carmel ride. It was a lovely morning.

Morning bliss

Well organized. It's very much do this and do that and onto the next thing Which was OK. We almost had the whole place to ourselves so can highly recommend taking a morning tour.

Great trip with a great host - worth the few AED extra

First time in dubai, so wanted to go on a desert safari. Looked a cheaper alternatives on groupon, but reviews weren’t great. So went with Oscar Knights. Trip was great. Tour guide, Shabir, was lovely. He was knowledgeable, multi-lingual, and just a lovely guy. He made the trip for us and tailored it to our needs. 4x4 dune bashing was great, just long enough. Sandboarding, pictures taken, camel ride, falcon holding/picture were all included. Great trip and great memories, thanks Shabir and Oscar Knights 👍

Viator doesn't provide invoices!

This review relates to Viator and not the Tour Company. I booked this experience for a corporate event. Could not get an invoice from Viator despite multiple requests. Viator agent advised they don't provide invoices??? An invoice is a basic tool of business and I require it to expense the payment. It's a shame as the experience was well received by the team.

Amazing morning in the Desert!

Amazing morning in the desert! We had an amazing time and our Guide was spectacular! The falcon experience, the (amazing) arabic coffee, and of course the camels, Jojo and his gang were so cute and lovely!! Dune bashing, squad bikes, each activity was fantastic. We take with us such amazing memories, thank you! ♥️

Fantastic tour to venture beyond Dubai

What a fantastic tour! Such a super way to experience many different things in a short period of time. From driving in the dunes, to sandboarding, to a camel ride, this was such a worthwhile experience. Iqbal was a fantastic guide and photographer. He went out of his way to make sure I had a memorable and safe experience. Would definitely recommend this tour if you’re looking for a desert experience close to Dubai!

Awesome experience

I had the best experience at the desert safari with Oscar Knight Tours. My tour guide, Maha, was very kind and patient. He made sure I got good pictures, which is always a plus for me. I will definitely book with them again.

Highly recommended

We thoroughly enjoyed our morning dunes tour. Our guide, Abdul was friendly and accommodating. He also has some serious 4WDing skills and our drive was an absolute thrill. The camel riding was also fantastic and we loved the opportunity to meet a falcon.

Excellent varied desert tour!

This tour was awesome and a great value for the money. Dune bashing was exhilarating, the sand boarding was fun, the camels were adorable and the ride wasn't too long or short, the falcon (shamsey?) was so sweet and so well-behaved. Loved the coffee and donut holes in the berber tents. Only thing I'd improve is the gear for the sand boarding (the straps on the older board didn't secure so it was difficult to get a full ride down the dune). Overall A+ would recommend. Wonderful weather in the early morning too!

Private tour of the desert with my daughter.

As a solo female traveller with my 7 year old daughter, I was a tad apprehensive to be going on a private tour with Oscar Knight Tours. All worries unfounded. Our guide Qurban was a joy to be with; he is very careful and caring with my daughter, took great care to ensure that we were always comfortable, takes great photographs and made my daughter laugh so much and feel at home. He is a very careful driver as well and prompt with pick-up and drop off. The experience is seamless. I will highly recommend this tour.

We had a great time on our Desert trip this morning. Ashraf our guide was amazing, he is great fun and very efficient and informative, highly recommend!

Brilliant morning desert safari

We had a great morning desert safari. Picked up from our hotel and in the desert within an hour! Ride around the dunes in the car followed by sand boarding and camel riding, was lots of fun. Plus stop for refreshments. Ashfraf was a brilliant guide, very friendly. 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting Dubai!

Efficient and as expected

As expected. No major surprises and no incidents. It was very hot, so we ended the excursion a little early.

Great experience and fun packed trip

Qurban was a very good guide, knowledgeable and relaxed he made the whole trip a wonderful experience. The sand dunes were great fun in the 4x4 and Qurban was an accomplished driver. The sand surfing was thrilling and good fun despite never being on a board before. The camel ride was safe and enjoyable with 2 very placid and graceful animals. Great experience.

Amazing experience

Amazing experience! I had Ashraf as our guide and he was amazing throughout the entire tour! We went during summer season which is incredibly hot and they took great care of us and made the whole experience enjoyable! Would easily do it again!

Exciting drive in the dunes

Qurban was an amazing driver - so exciting but at the same time felt completely safe. He also spent a lot of time ensuring we had all the photos we wanted setting up and taking several.

We had an amazing time on our sunrise tour with Ashraf! The whole experience was fun-filled and everyone involved was super kind and accommodating. The food was yummy and there was so much! We were able to customise our tour to suit our needs and it was very affordable for us as a young couple. Would definitely recommend!!! (Thanks again to Ashraf for being an awesome guide!!).

Dune safari

Ashraf is an excellent guide and driver! He is knowledgeable and friendly. It’s not a long tour so plenty of time left to enjoy the rest of your day. Highly recommended.

Awesome Excursion!!!

This excursion is an absolute must if you're in Dubai!!! We did the quad bikes, sandblasting, sand boarding, camel rides, and had refreshments at the end. Ashraf, our tour guide was wonderful! We had a blast with him. He made us feel comfortable with every activity. I would definitely recommend him to anyone considering this excursion.

Well worth the time and money

It all started with an awesome tour guide (Shabir). He was super friendly and knowledgeable. He definitely had great driving skills (a plus for driving in the dunes) and is a surprisingly good photographer ... he directed us to jump/pose for Instagram worthy photos. Camel ride, sandboarding, and riding on ATV in the desert were all fun for both adults and kids. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Dubai.

Best thing in Dubai

Best thing we did while in Dubai! Ashraf was a great guide with awesome driving skills- on and off the dunes! Tip- first stop is a place to rent atvs before the tour- definitely worth it! Loved every moment and will be telling everyone we know to take this tour. Thank you Ashraf for an amazing day!

Awesome experience

Came out to the dunes and it was beautiful. By far the best desert/sand in Dubai. Camels were also amazing.

Family Fun!

We had a fantastic morning, from our easy hotel pickup to feeling the warm and soft sand under our feet to riding our new camel pals! All of us from age 4-40 had a blast. Definitely recommend!!

Best thing we did in Dubai

The tour was well organised and did everything described under the expert guidance of Iqbal who was a pleasant and knowledgable guide. He was on time and went out of his way to deliver a super desert experience.

Fabulous desert experience

The morning dune tour with the camel ride was fabulous. Qurban was a wonderful, fun and professional driver. I did sand sledding instead of boarding because of a recent back injury and it was great fun. The camel ride was definitey a highlight for a first-timer. Holding the falcon at the main refreshment stop was a nice novelty too. I skipped the ATV ride but the other person on the tour did it and said it was ok.

Best trip to dunes if pressed for time.

Best trip if you are pressed for time. Plenty of time in the dunes with professional drivers, camel ride in authentic setting, falcon and snacks. This is the same trip as the one with the dinner and dancers if you have more time. It was perfect.

Amazing, convenient, memorable experience

Absolutely fantastic experience. Really convenient - just a couple of hours in the morning to slot in so many experiences! The car ride in the dunes was fun, the boarding was a little intimidating but really fun (give it a try!), the driver was super professional and courteous, the coffee and snacks were lovely but the two things that I adored were just wandering around in the dunes and feeling the desert and the camels themselves. The camels were docile, friendly, gentle and just amazing. I adored them.

Our guide qurban was excellent. Sandboarding and dune bashing was really fun . The camel riding and traditional arabic refreshments- foods completed the experience

Exciting and thrilling

Our guide Ashraf was really great at hosting and guiding us! We had a blast with the exciting car rides and also the sandboarding. The colour of the sanddunes is also very beautiful. Highly recommend!

Safari Tour

We didn’t like Qurdan as our Guide for several reasons. We could feel he was not engaged and was just absolving a program. We originally didn’t want to ride on the Quad, so careful, this is a ríp off. They take you to a place to pay 80€ for 20 minutes Quad drive, so almost what the Trip costs you. After I complained we payed 40€. Not to mention the 10€ they take for taking a Picture of you on the Quad. Our Guide let us feel it was because of him that Superdeal, to us it seemed he was friends with the Quad guy. He left us alone many times (my daughter and me were the only passengers on that Tour) and his answers to our questions were short and Not really friendly. We wished we would have had another Guide. This Guide is Not recomendable

A must do when in Dubai!

Our driver Ashraf, was amazing! From the minute he picked us up to the time he dropped us back to our hotel, he was knowledgeable, sharing information both about Dubai and our excursion. He made sure all of us were comfortable the entire time. Enough about our driver, this is a must do excursion, everything about it was so well organized and put together! You won't be disappointed! Seriously AMAZING!

One of the best experiences in Dubai

We just had a dessert safari amd it was one the best experience I’m Dubai so far! I really enjoyed the company of our guide, Kurban. He was very funny, talkative with great music taste and best photography skills. I highly recommend to book the tour with him, you won’t regret it. Dunes and Camels rides were amazing! Worth every single penny:)))

Fabulous Sand Dune Experience

Our guide Qurban was fabulous he was outside our hotel waiting on us and explained everything that we’d be doing along the way. The Red Sand Dunes was a great fun day with sand surfing for the energetic members of our group, followed by a visit to the camels and then traditional coffee dates and donut balls before we left to return back to our hotel. All in a wonderful experience and Qurban took lots of photographs for us to remember a fab day. Highly recommend
