Totally worth the experience!

It was amazing! We had such a great time and Prashanth is such a good guy, guide, driver and chef. Also the whole team was excellent, including the falcon trainer and the camel trainer. Dinner was delicious and we had a blast! Super romantic and private, as we wanted! Thank you so much for the experience!

Simply impeccable.

Every detail and aspect of the organization was pristine. No detail was left unturned from the spacious nomadic tent, set up of the dinner tables, seating around the fire pit and even the option of adding on a bathroom for the little ones. Managed impeccably from a company that knows how to go above and beyond. Would highly recommend, without hesitation.

Above and beyond

Highly recommend Destination Insight for your private event. We have organised our elopement with then as a private desert experience with dinner and some activities and cannot recommend them enough as things have turned exactly as planned and expected. Mary has been our support before the big day and Ali and their team on the day. Things have been organised to plan on the day and Ali has been so nice and kind and made us feel like everything was about us, he has been a big support looking after us. I have to also mention that sometimes Mary took a few days to respond to my questions, but don't be put off by it, because once she did, she responded with more details than asked about everything and suggestions. I understand they are a family run business and sometimes very busy, but they definitely know what they are doing and know how to make your event special. Also, I really appreciated that Mary shared with us many many options for decorations and I even had in mind things they didn't do before, but we discussed and discussed and came up with a solutions that I was very happy with. The food has also been delicious!!! I feel they went above and beyond to make our day special and with this feedback I want to thank everyone once again.

Amazing Night with our Company's Leadership Team!

We held the closing dinner of our company's Leadership Summit with them. Everything was spot on! the location and the set-up was great. Mary and Ali's team are amazing. Everyone had an amazing time, food was good too!

This Tour with Baiju was amazing!!! I tried different Tours but would definitely recommend to book here! We saw a huge camel racing track, a lovely camel farm and had delicious BBQ in the middle of nowhere!!! The sandboarding and dune bashing was great fun and the camp was amazingly beautiful!!!

Wonderful event

Myself and my colleagues just experienced a really nice event in the desert for our company end of year event organised with Mary. The event was flawless, the set up divine, the food delicious and all around good vibes. Mary arranged a bus to take 40 of us to and from the desert .. unlike many things in the middle east the bus ran on time and we were appreciative of that :) All of the guys I work with, including the CEO said how much they enjoyed the event, so thank you to DI for a making it a memorable event for us.

BBQ in the Desert

The evening was perfect: We were picked up and taken into the desert by one of the team who greeted us with a welcome smile.. The camp was welcoming and perfectly organized. The food was excellent , a good variety and high quality...We passed a beautiful evening under the stars around a camp fire and will definitely return. Such a wonderful evening under the stars. The word fabulous just sums up the whole experience - fabulous location, fabulous team and fabulous food. We enjoyed every minute and cant wait to come back.

We have used this company numerous times . Initially invited with friends we have now used them for group events and corporate . The attention to detail is perfect . Nothing is too much trouble and it suns so smoothly . What I especially enjoy is the quality of the food and the catering experience is so unique . The peaceful atmosphere to watch the sunset . 100 % perfect!!

The whole day was 100 % perfect. Could not wish for anything more. Just Perfect! Lovely staff and well organised. Ali picked us up at the hotel and made sure we would be at the buggy area before the crowd. Than we went to do the dune bashing. Just A lot of fun and afterwards we went to our own private BBQ in the desert. Nice welcome drink, fantastic surroundings and everything very well organised. BBQ was very good, even for our gluten intolerant friend. Then tea and coffee with marshmallows for the kids at the campfire. We had a fantastic day and we recommand this perfect Organisation.

Exceptional sight and food

Exceptional set up and very attentive. We went to do the BBQ experience for two people and I say it could have gone better. The service to book via WhatsApp is very easy and they give you a full range of options. It is not cheap, but I truly believe it is worth the value.

Most amazing private desert tour

we booked destination Insight for the « just for you private BBQ diner » and it was truly amazing. It was the second time we were doing it and it was even better than the first time. The staff is extremely nice and welcoming, the food is delicious, and the spot is really in the middle of the desert. I can only recommend this tour as I get amazed every time I do it.

Authentic experience in the desert

It was such an authentic experience in the desert ! We loved dune bashing with our experienced driver. A beautiful BBQ was served in the evening. The kids had great time playing with sand board. Only our family there was amazing and so relaxing… I will definitely recommend you !!!

A magical evening under the stars

The staff at Destination Insight really captured what I wanted in our desert dinner and camping night. We had a gorgeous table set up, a beautiful and chic lounge in which we enjoyed the stars before moving to the fire pit for s’mores.

Amazing private barbecue

We had the perfect private sunset barbecue last week. Our 40+ guests were all amazed by the seating in the desert, the fun activities, the perfect sunset view, and also the exceptional fire dancing. On top of this, we enjoyed a nice barbecue prepared by the lovely team. Big thanks to Mary and Ali for organizing that event that gave to all of us an unforgettable experience!

Desert BBQ

The team were punctual and very organised to get everyone to the desert location for sunset, were we were able to relax and catch up with each other. The food was great, we wanted for nothing, and there were also some activities available before the BBQ dinner was served to our tables including sandboarding. Afterwards when the temperature dropped a little we sat by the fire with marshmallows.

Boho Birthday Dinner!

Destination Insight did a lovely job organizing and setting up for a intimate birthday dinner. Very easy to work with, open to all our requests and definitely a great price point.

One of the best private experience in the UAE!

The experience with destination insight is a must do in the UAE. We had a series of activities during my the day and at night there was nothing better than the great BBQ and a bonefire where we partied till Sunrise. Nothing can describe the beautiful set up and lighting that they did for us. It was such a private, beautifull evening with a full moon and starts for my friends and I. I would recommend anyone to try it. The value you get compared to the price is nowhere to be found elsewhere!

Must do when in Dubai

An amazing experience away from the busy city life in Dubai but close enough to make it convenient. The dinner was delicious and very private - we were very well looked after. The schedule was also perfect so we could see the sunset out in the desert and did sand boarding before the dinner itself. It’s so good we’re going again with friends!

Amazing service!

My family and I wanted to do something in the desert for Christmas and, I found this great company. Desert Insight organized a desert picnic with a bbq dinner, out in the middle of nowhere. Really lovely setup, very private- the kids enjoyed the space and sliding down the sand dunes with the sand board they provided. On arrival we were offered refreshments, olives, dates. They started the bbq at that point and offered those who wanted in our group to go dune bashing (their drivers are very experienced). After dinner they had a bonfire ready and marshmallows for all us to enjoy by the fire- the kids loved it. They also laid out coffee/ tea for us. Wonderful experience! I dealt with a gentleman named Ali, great team great experience!

Totally Remote Wilderness Desert

We did a self drive safari in the Liwa desert (one night). I think it was one of the best experiences ever. Prashanth, our lead driver and guide, was amazing and we did some incredible driving down steep sand slopes, over the dunes, got bottomed out and towed out. The driving was really fun and the camp and food were great (we just camped where we found a spot which looked good so don’t expect loos or power or a proper building), exactly what we were expecting and we had a camp fire with marshmallows under an endless carpet of stars. It’s so remote there was no-one else around and all we could see for miles was rolling sand dunes. If you want remote wilderness desert this is a must do but do get some practice driving in the Dubai desert (on the smaller dunes) as these dunes are big and we side slipped and took 2 or 3 attempts to get up some parts so you want to be a confident desert driver to enjoy it.

Wow...An unforgettable experience!!!

Where do I start... from the moment I spoke to Mary prior to booking anything her professionalism was brilliant, she was so helpful and answered my numerous questions! The instructions to meet our driver were so simple and Hakeem our guide was so knowledgeable and couldn’t do enough for us. The bbq food was delicious and my husband enjoyed the sandboarding immensely! It was a special treat for his 40th and what an experience we had with our three year old (who loved running on the dunes!) We will be back, thanks again to Mary and her team x

Besides the place that is magical, we have really appreciated the attention of our guide Mithi who has been very kind and helpful throughout the whole experience. It was great and easy also for my three years old daughter. we absolutely recommend - great value for money

The Surreal Desert

I never thought I would have this much fun on a trip like this! Shoukath our guide was knowledgable, friendly, and so considerate! After our trip between the dunes, seeing the gazelles and the camels we reach our spot. A spot in the middle of the desert that is private and quite. They had some activities set up such as kiddy (suction ) archery and a sand board. But dinner and the service was truly amazing. And then the sunset and the stars came out and the sand cooled down! What an amazing experience. 😊

An 18th Birthday Celebration I Will Never Forget!!

For my birthday this year I knew I wanted to do something special. I mean this when I say it, nothing could have topped the Glamping experience that my friends and I had with Destination Insight. There was not a moment that we did not enjoy. From driving into the desert and seeing our setup in the distance surrounded by dunes to going to sleep in a beautifully set up bell tent. This night is one that we will never forget. My friends and I were completely blown away by how stunning the set up of the camp was. Sitting at the table, surrounded by the dunes and little twinkling lights was something one can not even capture with a photograph. The tent was warm, cozy and spacious. The beds that had been set up for us were very comfortable. After sitting around the table and the warm fire we loved getting come into the tent where we played cards for a while and then went to sleep. This experience is one that I would highly recommend. I truly believe that this set up and the peacefulness of the desert is something that can not be matched or replicated by anything else. My friends and I will remember this wonderful evening for years to come.

Desert bbq glamping

I’ve used Mary and her team on several occasions to set up a bonfire and gorgeous environment for friends and family! We’ve hired her team for an Arabian experience a modern one and an overnight camp with 3 tents and it was beyond expected! She’s always been so accommodating and tailors the experience to my budget and location! The hassle of setting up and cleaning up is managed by her awesome team and every time my friends have been in shock! Planned by dads big bday and 40 of our fam members and it was a night to remember! Thanks so much team Destination insight!

The best thing we have done in Dubai

I’d have left 6 stars if I could. Destination Insight created an incredible experience for our family in Boxing Day. We took our young kids and their grandparents and everyone loved it. Our guides were friendly and knowledgeable and expert drivers in the sand. We felt totally at ease in the dunes. Arriving at our evening camp was magical and the food prepared for us went down a treat. The lemon almonds have become a family favourite. Sand boarding and marshmallows around the campfire were highlights for everyone and gave us some really special time together as a family away from all the usual distractions. Thank you!

Very professional - guests loved it!

We were looking for a 'dinner in the desert' option for a corporate group attending the Formula One race on a business trip. The Destination Insight team were extremely helpful, accommodated our needs/timings, the booking process was simple and standards high. Awesome Boxing-Day Dinner in the Dunes

Destination Insight were impeccable. They catered for our every, individual need. The dune bashing was professional and exciting, the camel farm was low key and non-touristy and the dinner was beautifully organised with pretty lighting and the most delicious barbeque. First Class Personal Service

I have now used this company twice in the last two months. The first event was a lantern walk festival for a group of young families. Destination Insight created a beautiful set up for us with low tables, cushions, rugs, a fire, lanterns, fairy lights and many small added items that altogether created a stunning, warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was delicious and there was more than enough food to cater for the people gathered there. The location was peaceful and remote and the organization to get 20 people into the desert from all different locations in Dubai was exemplary. The second event was a much smaller more intimate celebration for my 18 year old daughter and my elderly parents both of whom are in their late 70's. It was my mother's dream to spend the evening in the desert and ride a camel under the full moon. Mary fulfilled this dream for my mother with her perfect organization and attention to every small detail. As my parents are not comfortable sitting on low cushions close to the ground, Mary went to enormous trouble to create a perfect comfortable set up for our dinner, providing a proper sit down dinner at a table with upright chairs. The atmosphere was again perfect and so beautiful. The camels were big and strong to take two of us at a time and Mary had thoughtfully provided a step for my mother to be able to climb up onto the seated camel more easily. Riding those camels through the dunes as the sun set was a most magical experience that we will never forget. The full moon rising that night was breathtaking, again a memory to live with forever. The quiet and the peace of the beautiful desert is an experience that is hard to beat and Mary and her team go above and beyond to ensure that the setting that they provide matches the beauty of the desert nature.

Amazing! Wonderful 2 days in the desert. Camel trekking, bbq in the desert, night and beautiful morning in the desert. We all enjoy, kids, parents. They enjoy to do surf. Fantastic evening in the desert sunset!

We spent one of our vaccations most memorable evenings with Destination Insight and their desert trailer. The tour felt extremely private and exclusive. The fantastic views in the desert, the excellent food and the childrens laughter when Dune-drivning and sandboarding was so satisfying. Mary was very helpful and made the booking easy and flexible and our driver Hakkem showed great expertise and was so nice to us! We strongly recommened recommend Destination Insight and Hakkem.
