The perfect way to spend a long layover

My wife and I went on a 3-hour tour to kill some time during our layover. Our guide, Furqan, was exceptional. He was really nice and knowledgeable, and he gave us a really nice tour of some of the main hotspots in the city. Highly recommended if you’re facing a long layover in Dubai.

Dubai-a quick lay over tour after the flooding.

It was a quick tour of Dubai and Furqan was able to show and explain to us what Dubai is all about. The city was so cleaned up showing no signs of flooding that happened just a few days before. Furqan speaks good english, polite, and very knowledgeable about the city's history,culture, political, social , etc. Definitely, I'll endorse him as guide to my friends who'll decide to also visit Dubai.

Layover in Dubai

I know most people don’t read past the first sentence but this is worth while. This was such an amazing experience! Being a single female traveling alone can be scary for some. This was nothing of the sort. I had the most amazing guide, Furqan, who took me so many places. I had a short time in Dubai, 3 hours, and Furqan, was able to show me old Dubai and new Dubai. I saw the spice and gold souq which were absolutely amazing. He took me to experience traditional Arabic coffee and tea in the old city. We then traveled to the new city to see all the amazing buildings and sites. He took me all around the Dubai mall and explained the history of how new Dubai started. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone, especially single females who are worried about safety. I never felt out of place with Furqan and I will be looking forward to returning to Dubai and requesting Furqan.

A Remarkable Layover Experience in Dubai with Guide Furqan

I was contemplating on how to spend my 13 hour layover in Dubai ,that I came across this flexible start time/flexible duration private layover tours. This turned into a grand idea with delightful experience in the hands of my very good guide Furqan. Furqan was punctual, picked me up at a predesignated time promptly. He was very knowledgeable about Dubai history, culture and ideology. He was full of fun facts as well as pride for his country. The tour started from old Dubai , to appreciate the roots and progressed into spectacular new Dubai with amazing skyline, unbelievable skyscrapers, luxurious hotels and architecture. We also stopped for a nice dinner and a visit in Dubai Mall and Chinatown. The grandeur and polish of everything in Dubai was remarkable. After 7 full hours of historic, geographic facts and sceneries he dropped me at my new terminal to embark the rest of my trip to US. I highly recommend the layover tour and Furqan as your guide if you have more than 5 hours to spend in Dubai, a city/country full of riches, innovation, human feat and amazing sceneries

Simply perfect! I met Furqan perfectly on time, had a great tour with pics stops and a very interesting explaination of almost everything I saw! He's a very gentle, enjoyable and smart person! Hope to meet him again!

Best Guide ever

We had a wonderful tour with our very friendly guide Furqan . He speaks very good English and always asked us what we wanted. We go to old Dubai, Dubai Mall and Global Village. We would book him again at any time. Thank you Furqan for the wonderful afternoon.

Great Layover Experience!

I had a 13 hour layover in the Dubai airport and thought this was a perfect opportunity to see the city. Finding this tour was fairly easy and the immediate communication via WhatsApp made me feel good that everything was going to go smoothly the following day. Furqan was my guide and was on time to pick me up directly from the airport. He was very knowledgeable of Dubai and also was willing to ask any question I had. We were able to fit in a good amount in my 6 hour tour and even ended with local food an dessert. I would definitely recommend this tour and highly recommend Furqan as a guide. Thanks!

2 hours layover tour, brilliant!

Furqan took us around the city centre in Dubai and it was such a great experience! He was friendly, knowledgeable and organised and took us to very nice spots around the area. Even took photos of our little family 🙂 Will definitely book again!

Great overnight tour with Tamour. Great knowledge about the city, a fun variety of destinations and photo spots. A great way to spend part of your layover. Very safe.

We took a 3 hour layover tour. Our guide was Tamour, who was simply amazing! He was organized, highly efficient, knowledgeable and very polite! Tamour also took great pics of us as well. Definitely recommend the tour, and more importantly, I recommend you seek out Tamour if you want a great experience.

Worth the Layover

Had an 8 hr layover in Dubai and took advantage of every minute there. We saw all the highlights from the gold and spice market to the tallest building in the world Burj Khalifa and everything in between. The end of the tour was treated to an authentic, delicious falafel wrap! Can’t wait to go back and will definitely book a longer tour on our next visit.

I only had a short time in Dubai and Waseem was amazing. I learned a great deal about the county, the people and the sites. He is a great tour guide. Key 2 destinations fE were easy to deal with. They stayed in touch to confrim my details, adapt to my flight changes and were very helpful. I would highly reccomend. The process was easy, hassle free and insightful from beginning to end.

Excellent layover tour to get to know Dubai in a few hours - with Sameer

It was a great experience for us with this layover tour, utilizing our long transit and got the chance to see all the landmarks of the city within a couple of hours. This could not be done with the excellent support of Sameer - our tour guide. Sameer has a deep understanding of the city and took us around. Also we got the chance to try some local food (chicken wrap and tea) which tasted so good. This was definitely an awesome tour for us, though short but very fulfilling and enjoyable. Big thanks again to Sameer for your great service and hospitality. Hope that we will have another opportunity to have more time to explore Dubai... and certainly having Sameer again to accompany us...

Night layover tour

I had a layover in Dubai starting from midnight until 8h30am, and I wanted to get to know the city a little bit. I am a female and it was my first time traveling solo, so I was a bit insecure. But, the city is very safe and Sameer made me feel very safe as well. Although during my layover time most things were closed (so I recommend you to book a flight with a layover during the day) I could get to know the city, there was no traffic, Sameer took a lot of pictures for me, we visited the most beautiful places possible, he gave me time to enjoy the view, I ate a very delicious sandwich and tea. We stayed at the beach for a little while, we stopped in the most important spots of Dubai and he explained me all the history of the city and the places we were visiting! I had a lovely time, Sameer was very friendly. I arrived at the Dubai airport a bit earlier than expected and Sameer agreeded to start the tour a bit earlier, and he sent me a message on Whatsapp one day before the tour, and it was very easy to find him at the airport. We finished the tour and I still had time to come back to the airport, pass through security, take a shower and wait for my next flight like I was planning. Summarizing, I loved the tour, it's much better than just wait for 9h at the airport, it was very nice to hear explanations about the history and the local culture, the city is simply incredible and I hope to come back during the day and with more time.

Exhausted but amazed

Waheen was a great guide. Showing us the Dubai highlights but also history and showing us places to shop other than malls.

Waseem made the Tour Educational and Fun!

This tour was amazing! Waseem was able to customize the tour to just what we needed for a layover after a long trip in the Maldives. He was able to pick us up at our hotel and drop us off at another activity it was really awesome how he was so flexible. We started with old Dubai and he was able to share so much history and facts about the city and early life. He helped us with negotiating at the souks and we got some really cool stuff to take back as souvenirs. I highly recommend this tour especially Waseem who not only knew so much about the city but he was funny and made the tour fun for my husband and I. Don't think twice! Book with Waseem!

Awesome Dubai Tour

This quick layover was one of the Best I have had. This tour went to the listed sites and they were phenomenal. I highly recommend using not downloading WhatsApp. This will help with a smooth transition from terminal to Tour. The guide was very knowledgeable with a good understanding of Dubai and it’s history. If you want an enchanting tour during your layover this one was awesome.

Fun filled night in Dubai

Highly recommend this trip. Quick and it hits the most iconic spots in Dubai. Please use or download WhatsApp to ensure a smooth transition from the terminal to the tour. We visited all of the spots listed in the description. Very knowledgeable tour guide on the history of the city. Also knows excellent spots to take photos at every site. Traveling from Boston to Cape Town and this was by far the best layover I’ve had.

Great option for a 15 hour evening...

<p>Great option for a 15 hour evening layover! I am a solo female traveler and had a 15 hour layover in Dubai. I booked a hotel for the night and had the guide pick me up there. </p> <p>My guide, Wahid was very nice and accommodating. He drove me through the older part of Dubai then to the Jumeirah Mosque. We took a walk around the outside of it it was too late for the daily tour. Then he drove me to the new part of the city where I saw the Burj Al Arab and then to the Dubia Mall where Burj Khalifa is located. He dropped me off parking is limited there and gave me time to see the fountain show. He was waiting for me in the same spot after the show. </p> <p>He then drove me to the Palm Island where I was able to get a picture of the Atlantis resort.</p> <p>I wish I had more time to explore the city but I was glad I booked a tour to see what i could in a short amount of time and in the evening.</p>

Great tour

Having a 7 hour overnight stopover in Dubai we chose to take a tour of this city. Despite the unusual time we chose a 3 hour tour (from 3am to 6am) The guide Taimoor immediately showed himself to be super kind and helpful in telling us some curiosities about the city and showing us the most important places. (speaking understandable and very simple English even for those of us who were not very expert in the language) He was a super photographer and offered us water and delicious Chai. (a typical drink from the Middle East) We booked on Viator and they were also very kind and super organized from the moment of booking, giving all the necessary information for the tour. Highly recommended

Excellente organisation. Notre guide nous attendait à l'aéroport à l'heure au point de RDV indiqué. La visite de Dubaï a été très enrichissante pendant un peu plus de 4h. Nous avons terminé par le vieux Dubaï, notre moment préféré de la visite avec de très nombreuses informations données par notre guide. Un guide au top ! Merci beaucoup à lui pour cette jolie visite de Dubaï en famille.
