So much fun! The trip was well organized. Our guide communicated directly with us so we were well prepared. The activities fun and well run. The camels behaved during our ride. Delicious meal. Definitely recommend this trip.

Amazing day and evening in the desert

Had an amazing trip with Iltaf! Dune bashing and sand boarding were amazing in the beautiful desert. Our favourite part was the camp in the evening - Iltaf was so helpful, showed us around all the great activities and the BBQ dinner was amazing.

5* Desert Tour

100% worth doing. Our guide, Yaar, was great from start to finish and made the trip that much more special. The quad biking was so much fun and you got a lot of time doing it which was great. Dune bashing was like nothing we have done before but was excellent! There was then opportunities to take pictures in the desert along with sand boarding. The tour finished with camel riding and then drinks at the end. There is also a shop at the base which is full of gifts etc. Will definitely come back and do the tour again when we are back in Dubai! Exceptional Tour Guide. Inaam Goes Above and Beyond for a Memorable Desert Experience!

Inaam proved to be an exceptional tour guide. He promptly collected us from the hotel and meticulously outlined the day's plan, including the duration of each activity. His photography skills in the desert were remarkable, capturing us in various poses and perspectives. Furthermore, when I asked to be taken to the Safari Dubai Zoo, he graciously obliged, even escorting us to the ticket office before departing.

5hrs trip for 30mins experience!

I asked for 7am trip (early) but ended up 10am for 30mins: 2mins on camel; 15-20mins on sand dunes with 2mins sand boarding! 5hrs for 30mins! I hope my Burj Khalife trip at 9pm is a success?!

Desert Safari

The driver was on time, vehicle was clean on the inside and enough room for everyone. The air was cold which was perfect for our activities. He was helpful with the sand boarding. At the end he was nice enough to stop so we coul get ice cream.

Fun in the sun

This was a very exciting experience. Everyone made sure we stayed hydrated and safe. Every step of the excursion was explained well. oh and our guide was the best photographer!!!

Desert Safari in Dubai

For those who never drove an ATV or rode a camel, this is probably the most fun thing to do in Dubai other than jumping off a parachute. Personally, riding the Landcruiser in the sand dunes was the most exciting since I had done the other activities elsewhere. The driver was very skillful! In addition, the dance/lunch afterwards was very enjoyable where you could try the local coffee/tea and take photos with a falcon. If you are lucky, like us, to have a good server, he would offer you to dress in local outfit for an even better photo experience. Overall, it was a very good experience and good time for us. If I have to be more critical, the ride on the camel should cover a greater area with a longer duration (not just like around a short block) like in Egypt or Morroco.

Amazing tour guide

Me and my friend had an amazing time riding dunes, sand boarding and much more! Our guide Sandy is fabulous, he was funny, knew everything about the desert!! I really recommend it!

Desert bashing experience

Today was the most amazing experience made extra special by our amazing and attentive guide! He couldn’t be more helpful and knowledgeable! He made us feel really relaxed and we all had so much fun! I would highly recommend this tour! And ask for Inaam, the best tour guide you can get! Unbelievable experience! So well run, from booking to the trip itself! We went for the private one, so reasonable too!

Iltaf - a fantastic tour guide!

Iltaf was an amazing tour guide. He began the day by picking us up from the hotel at his specified time and continued to give specific details of how the day would look and how long each activity would take. To further that he took photos of us in the desert that looked fantastic and made sure we had a range of different poses and angles! 😁

It was a wonderfull day full of activities that are unique to Dubai we had a great show and the best food after. fazil our guide/driver was great, he gave us the best time ever. Thank you very much for this beautiful family day that we will remember forever!!

Simply the Best

Every single part of the tour was fantastic. Our drive Kashif was so experienced and smazing. The camel ride, every activity at the camp was so good. Food was so good

Tourist trap!

Extremely inauthentic experience. During the dune bashing we literally rode in the track of the Jeep in front of us. Lots of people waiting at the sandboarding and all tours assemble at this meeting place that is extremely touristy (and ugly!) The company also picked us up 75 min before the chosen departure time and they harrass you through WhatsApp and phone the evening before and also call you an hour before the pick up time to make sure that you are awake, even when you have confirmed the pickup time the evening before. A very unpleasant way of dealing with guests who are on holiday!

Family trip

Inaam was our tour guide and he was FANTASTIC! He picked us up on time and was great at showing us around throughout the day. He was a great driver and gave us great insight into the local history. Highly recommend!!!

Nice quad biking and dinner experience

The experience was really nice ! From pick-up to drop-off our guide/driver took good care of us. The quad ride was super fun (note that 1h includes dune sliding and stopping for pictures). The camel ride is quite short as well, so don’t be surprise. But overall I really recommend it! You don’t have to think, everything is organized for you. The food was very good as well, and unlimited.

Dubai's Top Adventure

This was our second visit to Al Khayma camp. Just brilliant all round experience. Inaam was our host/driver and can't recommend him enough. You will not regret a single second, a must do if in Dubai.

Good package with a great guide (Inaam)

After a week of work in Dubai we decided to do a tour into the desert on our day off. We only booked on the day of, without doing any research. We were very happy with our trip, especially our great guide Inaam, he was not only a great driver but gave us great insights into the region. We could have stayed with him for days just chatting away! The way the tour company set the half day up, we were greatly entertained with activities but in a relaxed way.

My journey to Dubai included an exhilarating desert safari that took us deep into the heart of the desert, where we experienced the thrill of riding over sand dunes in a 4x4 vehicle with Inam. The adventure began as we left the city behind and ventured into the vast desert landscape. Our skilled driver, Inam navigated the dunes with ease, taking us on a thrilling ride over steep inclines and sharp drops. The feeling of speeding over the sand dunes was both exciting and surreal, offering a unique perspective of the desert's beauty. As the sun began to set, we arrived at camp, where we were greeted with warm hospitality and a variety of activities to enjoy. From trying coffee, feeding/riding camel, smoking, or getting a henna tattoo and enjoying a dinner under the sky, every moment was filled with excitement and wonder. Perfect tour! Great mood. Very professional.

The tour was perfect to say the least. Our guide Fazil besides from being kind and having a great mood, had our safety and well being as his first priority. The car was very spaceous and confortable. Great driver in the sand. He also had the consideration of knowing where we would be going in the next days offering a list of suggestions and tips. You can't ask for more! Strongly recommend!!!!

Desert bonanza!

Amazing time with family. Lots of options for quads including small one for younger kids and buggy’s. Dune bashing was wild and just the right amount of scary leading up to sand boarding fun. Camp was cool with lots of activities good food and entertainment. Kids “best day ever!!”

Non-stop fun packed in such small time!

Worth every single penny. From start to finish there are so many different activities you will never be bored. Inaam was a great guide and an even better driver on the dunes. If you are wondering wether to get this tour or not just go for it, its slightly more than the cost of a posh dinner in Dubai.

We booked our trip to the desert and was fantastic experience with allot of credit to the Guide Faisel who was very accommodating, informative and most importantly very humorous... Good food, great activities , highly recommended

OceanAir Travels 👍🏽

We were three adults and three kids (age 5, 4, 1). Overall it was a really good experience. Many different acitvies and a great BBQ at the end. I would say if my kids were slightly older they probably would have gotten more out of it. They may have been a little too young to fully overcome the fatigue that comes with the desert heat and blowing sand. There was some crankiness but otherwise they also had a good time. My one year was carried throughout the whole experience as strollers don't work and he participated more and better than I expected. Good communication through WhatsApp to arrange and complete pickup. Our guide was Nasser. He was friendly, efficient and informative. He made an effort to ensure we were enjoying each part of the tour. After pickup, we were driven to an area where you could purchase time to drive an ATV or a dune buggy. You get 35 minutes and there is a guide you follow through the desert or a specific route. Throughout the route there are stops for drinks and photos. Some of the vehicle options were decently prices but others were very expensive. We saw it as a once in a lifetime thing so we decided to do a 4 person buggy so our kids could join. Afterwards, we were driven to a different location for the dune bashing. This is where your guide drives you through the desert in the 4x4 they picked you up in. They do some tricks and wild driving that was nore exciting and fun than I expected. Our guide did tame the experience since we had little kids. Afterwards, we parked in the desert for sand boarding and more photos. This was really fun and something for all ages. Kids can sit on the boards if they are too little to stand. I saw most adults give it a try. It was really a very serene and calming experience to be in the middle of the desert and to be exposed to such a different geological environment than the one we're used to in Canada. After this part, we were driven to the camp where we were offered a short camel ride, a chance to feed baby camels, henna, shisha, coffee, tea, appetizers and a BBQ dinner. It was really a nice setup. There were shaded open air rooms and dinner tables with poufs arranged in a circular pattern so that everyone could have a view of the stage where there was a Tanour and fire show performance. Both performances were very good and entertaining. The last part was a five minute rest and relaxation moment before we went back to the car. Our guide drove us back to our airbnb.

Fazil was amazing, he coordinated everything as far as pick up, description of activities perfectly with us. Fazil is the kind of person that makes you want to do these excursions because he's so professional with everything. 5 stars, I wish I could give more than that.
