Viatour Dubai City Tour

The Tour Guide was excellent. Very informative. Kept to his schedule and was not late. Covered a lot of ground and had me interested in what he had to say. Chose Viatour as they were recommended by the holiday company and was the only company who would pick us up from our hotel which just outside the city. Excellent value for money considering the length of the trip 4-6 hrs and information provided by the tour guide. So looking forward to the Frame and was somewhat disappointed that it didn’t have more exhibits. But it’s a bucket list that can now be ticketed off. The Blue Mosque was interesting made special by the Tour Guide who provided information I hadn’t considered before. The only negative comment I would make for future travellers is to bring a snack to keep you going for the 6 hours without a lunch break. A little snack was provided but not enough in my opinion. In summary I feel a proper break for a meal would have been nice.

Our Tour Guide Yussuf was great, entertaining and really made us learn a lot about the culture of Dubai.

Great day out. Lots of places to visit

Had a great time. The guide was full of information and glad to answer any questions. He also showed us some cool places where we could by good food. The sites were good. Was a good way to see parts of Dubai I hadn’t been before.

Great tour!

It was nice to see different parts of Dubai. Hamza was a wonderful tour guide and very knowledgable. I appreciated the background he gave us on the city and natives of Dubai. He made sure we all had a great time and took pictures for everyone at each stop. I highly recommend!

WHAT A DELIGHT!

What a great experience! Our guide Hamzah was amazing and very engaging. He ensures we were well taken care of as well! I would definitely recommend this tour. Frame was amazing it was late when we get there 15mins to closing but we have ample time to enjoy it! The best was the night view and almost no one around so you can to enjoy the place well.

A wonderful experience and everything went according to schedule . The Frame was a great sight to see, the height and seeing the view from within . Great to see the “old” and the transition to the “New”

Great Tour

This was a great experience! Our tour guy Zeeshan was very knowledgeable. He definitely made the tour fun and had a great sense of humor. All the sites we went he gave us the history behind it. He was attentive to everyone’s needs. I highly recommend this tour!

First time in Dubai - highlights

Hazma was a great guide and this was a nice way to see various areas of the city. Hazma gave good insight as to living here and the attractions we saw were all on my list. The line for the Frame was very long but we were in and out in probably 75 minutes. Thanks for a great tour!

This is a good tour to explore Dubai

Tour with lunch

Our tour guide Fesal was really great. He shared so many information and was always patient and very considerate with all of us. The tour went smoothly as planned. The van was clean with a container full of cold bottled water. The driver was very efficient as well. The lunch was worth it with very large servings and we ate in a private traditional dining area.

Dubai key features - half day tour

Good tour that covers the main features of Dubai in about 5 hours. Only downside was the very back seats (3rd row) of the Toyota Previa was a bit cramped and I had to duck down to get a better view from the small rear quarter windows when the driver was pointing out features.

We had a great experience. Our tour guide Noor was very knowledgeable and told us many interesting things about Dubai. He was also very caring and was looking after us very well

Very nice short trip

Biggest highlight of the trip was our guide who was very well prepared. He told us a lot about Emirates, we learnt a lot during the trip. Trip itself was very well organised and we were able to see some places in Dubai which were hardly accessable from our location. I recommend to do this trip at the beginning of your holiday so you can still use the information from the guide during your trip. We did it on our last day unfortunately but we could enjoy it anyway

The old real Dubai like a local

Great idea of old Dubai with.informatiom about history, religion and customs of people in Islam. Thanks to our wonderful, friendly and smiling guide Hassan we learned so many things with humor and an interesting way to presend them. The mosque was nice and the market astonishing. In Dubai finally there are two different worlds and the one is the old town. Its a must visit.

So much fitted into a half day tour - well worth the money

Hassan was a fantastic guide, we saw and learnt so much in just a short period of time. We have been to Dubai a few times and still saw areas on this tour we had never seen before. Would definitely recommend.

Fascinating tour of the best sights in new and old Dubai. The gold covered Dubai Frame was especially interesting.

We were picked up at our hotel in a small bus that held about 10 people and we saw an interesting variety of new and historical Dubai sights. Our first stop was The Point, an outdoor retail center at the top the Palm Jumeirah that had great views of the Atlantis Hotel across the waterway. We drove by estates of the Royal Family before reaching the Burj Al Arab hotel, which can only be viewed from a distance. We toured a mosque and they have free clothing that you can wear inside. The Dubai Frame was the highlight with panoramic views of old and new Dubai and the frame symbolizes looking from old to new Dubai. The building has a glass floor and the guides were helpful in composing the perfect photo. The entire structure is covered in gold leaf. After a walk through a market area with endless jewelry and saffron shops, we boarded a boat to cross the Dubai Canal before enjoying traditional coffee and dates at a historical restaurant. Our guide brought all of the sights to life with his informative and interesting commentary and helped us appreciate what life is like in Dubai. Everything about this experience was wonderful and I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Old and New Dubai Experience - Walk and Ride

This was a great overall tour to learn and experience Dubai while not being overwhelmed by an all day tour. The highlight of the tour was experiencing the Dubai Frame as a group and not feeling rushed. My one suggestion would be to allow more time at the Souk stop. You will be stopped by every vendor and if you’re not firm while passing you spend a lot of time trying to make your way through or a lot of time in one shop. This stop should be treated just as the Dubai Frame experience. Overall, I loved the mix of walking and riding to escape the heat versus a full walking tour. I chose this tour company because I had booked a desert tour with with them and I was pleased with both activities.

Worth it visited lots of places!

Our tour guide Riz is great he is very organized, generous in taking our pictures ,and very informative we got to know all places we visited on our tour inside Dubai frame, blue mosque, Gold and spice souk, rode Abra. Had picture taking outside Burj Al Arab ,Palm Jumeirah beach we chose tour with Lunch , the restaurant is beautiful and food ‘s great !

Ali was a fantastic guide taking us through various destinations! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Dubai Frame was definitely a highlight for me, just that it would be good if we were given more time in the Frame (don't miss out on the future of Dubai in virtual reality when you come down from the Frame). Lunch in Alkhayma Restaurant very good too! What a treat!

Fabulous day

Such a good day. Very informative guide, which made the day so enjoyable. The lunch was amazing. If anyone is thinking booking the trip, book with lunch, it's a memorable experience. Inclusive of frame tickets, this trip is well worth the money.

This tour was brilliant. It was well organised and the guide was excellent. The lunch at the heritage centre was delicious and so glad we booked this. The frame was a little scary at first but it was superb. Great memories. Well done.

Unorganized

Not very organized at all. The driver that picked us up from the hotel got lost so we started tour an hour late. Traffic everywhere. The frame was nice but the rest caused us all anxiety

Very good and informative guide. The view of Atlantis and tour of the Blue Mosque were outstanding. Large crowd at the Dubai Frame.

Great start to Dubai

Excellent tour guide, went above and beyond to make it a fun tour. Highly recommend the Dubai Frame. Wish I had done this tour on Day 1 of my arrival.

We liked it

The trip was well planned and the guide was great. It was not just sight seeing, it was also about having experiences that you wouldn't have somewhere else. But I wish we would have had more than 45 min to explore the Dubai Frame.

Excellent half day tour

We booked this half day tour with the add on of lunch. We were out all day! No time constraints at all. Our guide, Paulo was fantastic and very knowledgeable. We went to places we would never have gone to on our own, it was a great trip - do it if you can.

Awesome experience

Mohammed was an excellent tour guide. He brought Old Dubai to life and thoroughly explained the history and culture to us. The food was so good, our group didn’t want to leave the restaurant. Please ask for Mohammed as your guide. You won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful Tour!

We had a wonderful experience on this tour. Our tour guide was fantastic. It was our first day in the country and we were able to have a great understanding of the city, food and culture. Everyone was very hospitable and courteous as well.

Frame Plus

The Frame alone was worth it. Tour guide (Hassan) very knowledgeable and helpful. Dealt with irritated customers well. The tour was unfortunately delayed in souk by late returning members of party which caused many issues re food and end time.

Great tour negative guide

Tour was nice but our tour guide talked way to much and when we did walk with her she was a speed walker. At the mosque she grabbed me a small robe that would not close and even when I said something about it not fitting she was like they don’t care in the mosque. She complained about not to stand in line and created her on version of the tour

Great Tour to Sample Dubai

We had a fun and informative tour with our guide Ramadan. He was very knowledgeable and provided his personal insights which made it special. We liked this tour as we got a taste of various areas of Dubai in a short period of time which was a lot easier than doing it on our own. The only thing that could have been better was more time at the Dubai Frame as there was a lineup to go up which took some time. Overall, a very good tour!

Great experience

This was a very inspiring and informative excursion. My guide name was Khan and he was the best guide that was very patient and knowledgeable about everything Dubai. He was so amazing we tried to book him for another tour to Abu Dhabi but unfortunately he was reserved but he did recommend someone else which was also amazing and we saw Khan while going. Khan was Very patient and even took pictures for us. I highly recommend this tour and if you’re lucky to get Khan you’re in for some knowledge. This was definitely a 5 star from beginning to end.
