Torture! Beware: Ripp off- Cheap food, bad service

For a price of 50 Dollars per person we expected a solid dining experience in a festive atmosphere for our teenagers and us . But this was quite an awful experience. For the last part we dissolved into helpless laughter because the whole thing was simply ridiculous. Even though wasting 200 Dollars and one night isn’t a joke. Quite obviously, the management eked out the food whereever possible to maximize gainings. Complimentary welcome drinks were cheap sugary “juices” mixed with water. The worst was being tortured at huge volume (think Dance Club) with a chaotic melée of music through huge speakers of incredibly bad sound quality, the whole interspersed with random advertisements, unpredictable interruptions, back- and-forth changes and repetitions in the middle of the tracks throughout the cruise. (But: they turned down the volume a little bit when my husband asked, so at least it was possible to talk) Highlights: - hardly enough food to go around for all diners - watered-down hummus (soup-like) and yoghurt dip ( as liquid as milk) - knuckle-sized pieces of chicken breast were doled out 3 per person by chef personally - rice with veal had a very few bits of meat well buried. Chef came over to stir meat under even deaper - some dishes tasted pretty good, though, quality as such was not bad - entertainment progamme was subpar I could go on about the unprofessional and not very friendly waiting staff, the cheap uncomfortable chairs, the bent cutlery etc. but will leave it at that.

Views were amazing, food was ok. They ran out of orange juice and not notified there was dessert. Entertainment was good. Had prime seating on upper deck, excellent.

Nice dinner and antique wooden dhow

We had an amazing time on the dinner cruise. The services provided were excellent, and the crew on the boat was extremely polite and accommodating. On our last night in Dubai, we decided to embark on a Dhow Dinner Cruise from Pier 7 at the Dubai Marina, aboard the largest Tour Dubai Dhow. It was truly a wonderful experience. The dinner served was delicious, and the lively music perfectly complemented the breathtaking scenery around us.

Can be avoided

We booked this attraction through klook.com. We took the 4 star Cleopatra (name of the cruise). Its an old dhow full of lighting which can hurt the eyes at night. Not to mention blaring loud pain in the ears Arabic pop music. You can't talk to your partner properly because the music is so loud. There are other 3 star cruises so we thought 4 star would be better but it was worse. Won't rate it even 1 star. So we got the upper deck but we're soon pushed down as a big booking came and the owner merely told us that our booking is for down deck. No problem but at night you can't see much outside as lights inside are very bright and because there is glass windows, you get a lot of reflection. The bathrooms are less said the better. The entertainment is of the 5th century and can't really be called entertainment. Its a joke. The food is pathetic. Down right pathetic. Cold and tasteless. Not much veg options. Soft drinks are served. The owner mentioned that the food is same upper deck and lower, but the upper deck had a few more items. They gave us noodles, biryani, kebabs, some gravy dish in veg and non veg, rice and salad. This is the type of food you might get in jail. The desert had custard without enough sugar. Overall this was a hopeless ride and a waste of money. Please avoid and take the better yacht cruise from dubai marina which atleast takes you around some good spots and in a modern yacht. This dhow cruise is a bloody joke. Thank me later.

Ok types

Donot expect CRUISE like feeling from this as it's a small boat with sitting arrangement at top also without AC in open and in lower compartment with AC and food also being served there, it's a 2 hour boat ride with dinner, There are plenty of options available and on spot booking Is also done, We boarded 8pm cruise and came back post dinner by10-10:15pm. Food was good with plenty of veg and 2-3 non veg options, colddrink and welcome drink are also served, small dance but very good effort by dancer to entertain evryone, Boat keeps floating in that creek and post some photography is done and dinner it becomes lil boring, Overall to keep ur eveneing busy u can try this as it includes dinner. Weather was good. Special mention to that Dancer, he was too good.

Worst trip ever

Worst trip ever. Not allowed to go to upper deck due to an private party. Food was horrable, toilets was dirry and rotten smell all over. No beer at bar as only upper desk guest was allowed to have beer. Trip was about 1 hour 15min and not the 2 hours advertised. Unabke to take any photos of city as guests was not allowed on upper desk

Unsatisfied family of tourists.

The cruise was supposed to be 2hours long, in fact it was only 1.hour & 30 minutes long. The food on the boat was not at all nice and very rushed. We were only given I bottle of water and a small glass of orange Fanta, the temperature was 36c when I asked for more water we were told 1 bottle each only. I would not recommend this cruise company.

Food and entertainment very good. Having to sit on a bus for an hour to pick someone up spoilt overall experience.

Pick a different Dhow company

I ordered a Dhow Cruise in the Dubai Creek. The tour operator messaged me saying that only the Marina Dhow would allow pickup from our hotel. For this inconvenience we would get a "VIP Upgrade" for no additional cost. We'll start with the driver. He literally drove past our hotel 4 times when picking up guests. He had no idea how to map an efficient route. Our group arrived last to the boat. Fortunately, he figured things out for the trip back. Our "VIP" tour was downstairs. There was a loud stereo for those of us in the hold. We were served orange Kool Aid! I haven't had Kool Aid in probably 45 years. I'm an adult! To be fair, Coke was offered later. The buffet dinner was just ok. We had to ask permission to go upstairs where the entertainment was. We were able to stand in the corner and see it. Honestly, there was nothing "VIP" about this. The whole cruise seemed second rate for those of us in the hold.

A great start with an on time pick up from our hotel at the agreed time. The whatsapp communication before the activity was very helpful. Sufficient and good food was served. It’s a value for money and everything went well. I recommend

Ok Cruise

The live entertainment - Dancer was good and entertaining. The weather was too hot to be eating outside. Chairs and tables are available inside on the first deck. However, we were forced to dine out side on the Second deck.

Dinner on the beautiful Creek Cruise

Amazing family time while having dinner on the cruise and enjoying the creek area of Dubai. Entertainment shows were also nice and food was delicious. Recommended

You will be seated with complete strangers. The food was not worth it. The trip was short, you don't get to see much of the creek.

Absolutely horrible

Typical tourist ripoff Driver was 45 minutes late.The boat is a neon abomination of a dhow, cheap food and Pepsi that tasted like it was opened a week ago... The show was a complete embarrassment, maybe only the small kids enjoyed it. The service staff (probably underpaid and extremely unmotivated) took our drinks before we were done without even asking . Would absolutely nit recommend, better flush your money down the toilet

Lovely Cruise on creek

lovely weather and lovely view. food was great. got a nice table and food was hot and tasty. almost 2 hours of unlimited entertainment while we cruised in creek area. must to visit for couples. recommend

Beauty at its peak

If you want to see the beauty of Dubai nights you must do this tour. Old Dubai looks amazing in night lights. Had a wonderful dinner and enjoyed Tanura dance and magic show. What a wonderful night

If you are looking for a quite and romantic dinner try with the dhow cruise. Pick up and drop off is included. Dinner are fine selections of arabic and continental. Music and audio back ground to relax you while dining. Also there's tanura dance and magic show to further entertain guests throughout the evening. Great experience. Must try

Passeio Diferente

O fato de andar de barco a noite pela Dubai é incrível, mas como praticamente todos os guias não recomendam, é um passeio legal para viver uma experiência diferente. Nós fomos apenas para ter certeza mesmo e dizer que vivemos aquilo… a comida já estava fria quando jantamos, o self service não era um dos melhores também. Exigiam entrada de esporte fino, mas tinha várias pessoas de moletons. Em contrapartida, o fotógrafo foi super gentil e nos deu todas as fotos que tirou da gente por 40 AED, sem contar que chegamos uns 20 minutos atrasados e o Barco nem havia saído. Para quem tem curiosidade de conhecer, vale a pena, mas já para quem quer economizar, sugerimos jantar em algum restaurante com vista para o mar.

Schönes Boot, ansonsten wenig geboten

Zum Geburtstag haben wir diese Tour gemacht und waren froh als es vorbei war. Die letzten in der Buffet Schlange haben nur Reste bekommen. Es gab Wasser, Cola und Sprite. Die Tour ging Richtung Meer und war nur am Anfang an schönen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Entertainment war so skurill, dass man immerhin was zu lachen hatte. Ich würde diese Tour nicht noch einmal machen. Waren zu dritt und alle Gäste haben eigene Tische bekommen. Große Gruppen und Familien waren dort. Sehr internationales Publikum.

Leuke avond, matig eten, entertainment was bijzonder grappig, veel gelachen. Transport van en naar hotel was goed.

Dineren op het bovendeck van de boot, al varend in decor van verlichte buildings sprookjesachtig en aanbevolen voor romantische koppeltjes, lekker gegeten.
