Kismat our tour guide and driver was amazing!! We had so much fun and he was so helpful in giving us advice on what activities to do and to top it off he is also and amazing photographer! Thanks so much Kismat and team! We had so much fun on our Desert Safari day!!

So much fun for our family

Mr khan accompanied us as our driver on this desert safari, he is a kind and courteous person who looked after us and kept us informed about everything. The food was brilliant, camel ride was enjoyed by my daughters and the show was spectacular. I would recommend this for families as a brilliant day out

10/10 Experience

Booked the private 7 hour package for my family and it was great. Our guide Mr Adnan was very professional, skilled and friendly. My family enjoyed the Desert buggy and the dune bashing experience. The BBQ dinner was good along with the shows. All In all, a perfectly worthwhile experience. Would recommend 10/10

Awesome Experience

The experience was awesome. Our tour guide Aftab did a wonderful job. He kept us entertained and motivated the entire time. 11 people enjoyed the whole experience.

Great adventure

We have enjoyed our evening in the desert, with an interesting adventure dune ride(thanks Adnan for that!), great show and surprisingly good food.

We loved sand dunes thingy that was really a good experience just becoz of Adnan’s great driving skills

Adnan was really a friendly guy explained everything in detail in such a nice way and I really admire his driving skills and way of talking towards us

Today I went to go to the safari withe non's he is very nice person. I'm really enjoy everything Specially for the court but you can't for the sand voting for the pictures for everything adnan. Thank you so much again.

Fun in the desert !

Dune bashing was a blast, Khalid is very experienced driver, he did his best for us and we enjoyed it a lot. The camp was nice place to be as well, there are camels, food was fresh and tasty and you can optionally add hookah if you’d like, very well organized. Overall the value of the service is great. I highly recommend!

A must do trip!

Picked up promptly by Qasmit who was fantastic throughout the day, fun and informative while looking after all guests on our tour. The dune bashing was a thrill and required some expert driving experience. Bbq and show were outstanding - recommend choosing vip for this - your own table and no queuing for food.

Family in the desert with Dilbar

We were picked up from Ajman and guided through the tour by Dilbar and what a fantastic guide. He took care of us throughout the day and provided an amazing experience. Kids, 10 and 12, thoroughly enjoyed the day. We did the desert safari, where Dilbar manoeuvred the car through the sand dunes with great expertise. We stopped for the quad bikes which was a fantastic experience. Dilbar even took amazing photos of my family in the desert, thank you. We had a fantastic day and Dilbar helped create these amazing memories, you are an absolute credit to the company, thank you so much.

Brilliant!

We had a brilliant time dune bashing and sand boarding hosted by our safari guide Qamar who was very attentive, funny and an excellent photographer too, getting us some brilliantly memorable photos. I would definitely recommend this tour and hope you have a guide who goes the extra mile for you like we had.

Amazing!

Amazing trip with Mr. Khan. The dune buggies were crazy and much faster than we thought they would go. The dune bashing was cool too in the car that took me and my family there! The evenings entertainment was very good too, lovely range of food and dancers were inincredible. Mr. Khan is best guide for this tour, definitely recommend to all.

Going through the desert and having the time of my life with my friends.Our driver Mujeeb was amazing, and was so humble. He showed us all the best places and took care of us.

Don't leave Dubai without dune bashing!

Had a lovely time driving out to the desert dune bashing, stopping to see Camels roaming about and enjoying an excellent dinner and show. A must experience for the whole family while in Dubai!!

Safari ride with my 10 month old

I visited dubai with my 10 month old and wanted to do the desert safari and was disappointed to know that infants won't be allowed to board the dune bashing. After a lot of research and looking at different tour operators and their reviews, contracting them individually, I booked my experience with Fun tours. If you are travelling with infants, it's best to book in a private safari. If you thinks one of you can hold the baby at the camp and wait for the other - don't. Safari is what you pay for. It really made the difference for me as we could do everything on our on convinience. We can control how slow or how fast the dune bashing can go according to your needs, carry the stroller etc. I will review this in 2 parts - Asif our tour guide and the whole experience. A small tip in selecting the tours - a lot of operators had good ratings overall, but when I read their recent ratings it was really bad. Fun tours had a of of excellent ratings recently (post pandemic) and I decided based on that. Asif - a 5 Star guide With all I've read, your experience will only be as good as your tour guide. Asif was excellent from the start. He contacted me around 12 noon to let us know that he will pick us up front the hotel at 2:30. I got his message at 2:28 informing me that he had reached. He also told us to get some warm cloths as it would be cold in the desert in the evening (which I forgot). We had nice conversation all along, he wasn't pushy to get us do to the non optional activities and gave us plenty of time in the desert. We were able to relax and have a great time without feeling rushed. He also was kind enough two click some very nice photos of us. I would recommend Asif if you are looking for a nice guide. Fun tours experience Dune bashing - the best of them all. 5 Stars hands down. It was really enjoyable and I kind of found out that my 10 month old is into adventure! You cannot describe it in words, but you need to be there to experience it. You should not miss this if you are in the UAE. Sandboarding - another fun activity, although to do it standing which is the best one, you need practice or a good core to balance. Be prepared to fall down a few times if you don't have that. You can do it sitting - but not as fun. Rest of the tour ( Dinner, Shows and other activities) The professionals who did the shows were wonderful and the shows were good. However, the test of the stuff is where I'm taking one star out. We booked a vip dinner so table service. The food was only OK. Do not expect a star level dinner. Henna painting, the will do it on your hand for free and you'd need a microscope to see it. Anything bigger is chargeable. Hokkah in the table is chargeable - what's free is within a tent away free the shows. Cold drinks are unlimited, but how much will you drink? Falcon photos are good - camel ride is a really short one - if you need longer you need to pay extra. There are different people trying to sell stuff to you while you eat in between the shows which was a bit annoying. All of this doesn't take away all the fun from the experience, but I'm highligting these so you can have your expectations set. Overall, the whole thing was a 4/5 experience!

Asif was an amazing guide!!He made sure we all had a great trip to the desert and was a very good driver!!We had an amazing time in the desert and would definetly recommend this Safari!!

Impressive experience in the desert

I travelled alone and was worrying about safety of the trip. I found this company at Tripadvisor and it was the best choice. The tour was organized by a car for 5-6 tourists (it is much better than big buses). The car picked me up from the hotel on time. The car was clean and new; the driver was a professional (drove safely). The description of the tour is correct: desert riding, sand boarding, camels, dinner included. The driver (he is also the guide) was polite and nice. Good choice for a good price. I would obviously recommend this tour for my friends.

We did the VIP desert package and I can not recommend funtours enough, expert driver, very fun but extremely safe and enjoyable experience, 10/10

Amazing day out

Great day out. Picked up and dropped up from hotel. Drive to the desert for dune buggy ride and then dune bashing in 4x4 car. Then into a camp for dinner and a show. Excellent service from start to finish and our guest Anwar was fantastic.

VIP DESERT SAFARI

Our driver was very friendly and someone you can good talk to. The event was good organized but it was a awkward tourist attraction with pseudo cultural parts, sorry. Not really to recommend.

One of a bests evning desert safari

The trip was awesome! We got what we expected from this well organized programme. Our driver/guide Mujeeb was very helpfull and friendly. We were on a private tour and he guiding us all night we got lot of infomation from him! Two thumps up Mujeeb and thank you!

An awesome trip with an awesome Guide!

Safari Tour in the dunes was awesome. We enjoyed quad biking in the desert and bbq dinner. Evening program with belly dancing and more arabian entertainment made the trip extraordinary.

Fun family desert experience

This is a fun and good value family tour with lots of enjoyable activities. Highlights include camel ride in the desert and quad bike on dunes (optional extra but worth it). Big and tasty dinner and entertaining shows including belly dancer. We went with toddler and boy of seven and they enjoyed it. Mujeeb is excellent host, friendly and professional. Would highly recommend.

Sehr schöne Zeit in der Wüste verbracht! Wurden am Hotel abgeholt. Hatten einen sehr freundlichen und aufmerksamen Guide, der gut englisch sprach und uns viel erzählen konnten. Auto war in einem guten Zustand und komfortabel! Essen und Show war ein sehr schöner Abschluss von dem Tag. Immer wieder gerne!
