********* The best safari I ever had I recommend the company 100% it was a perfect match from the minutes I called them up . You can’t get anyone to answer the phone on Sunday at 21:00 but I got them. I have a special request for kids and they make that happen , not only that I refuse to use the credit card from my own reason so they sent a person to pick up deposits at my house. You just can’t ask for anything else with them you get the whole package and the best time ever !

Summer Fun!

From the pickup to the drop off, this desert tour was amazing! Latif, our tour instructor, was very kind, knowledgeable, and allowed for us to have a memorable day. He directed us to the activities and was fantastic with the sand dune bashing. We had so much fun. Thanks for the great experience!

Quad and safari

It was a lovely experience, the driver Ali was very friendly and helpful. My son had the opportunity to enjoy the quad in two occasions during the trip. The journey was long but comfortable. Before entering the village there were a lot of activities. The show was amazing and the atmosphere in the village was very good. Everything was fine however we did not enjoyed the food maybe not our kind, there was a good selection of salads, rice, some meat and rice pudding with watermelon, fizzy drinks and water. I would recommended.

I paid $175 For 2 people that supposed to be VIP I’m glad I didn’t take that girl with me otherwise woulda been embarrassed Got picked up in a 7 seater from our location with 2 other people, had the same basic quads as everyone else which broke down 4 times, after making a complaint they gave us another me which was ok. Basic food that you never eat if you’re out in a restaurant There was 6 people in the land cruiser including the tour guide, which went on for maybe 15-20 minutes to get to that middle of desert “entertainment place” Nothing VIP about this service!!

Not recommended

We paid 500 AED for for a private car. 25 minutes of driving (was nice but too short). Dont expect real desert, they take you to the edge of the city and that is it. The camp looks not very welcoming. Dancers were dancing without passion. No free-flewing soft drinks like was promised, only with dinner time. Very cheap food and not good quality, it was simple and poor. Sendboard in bad condition and barrely able to slide on sand, the hills were tinny, like for kids. My impression was that everyone out there just tried to get more money on the back of the toursts. Not recommended!

The Very Definition of a Tourist Trap

We were picked up at 14:30, and went for the Dune Ride in the car (not before stopping at a a shop where they tried to sell us everything they could, of course). The Dune Ride itslef waa fun, but it was all downhill from there. By 15:15 we were dropped off at the tent camp, with the evening program set to begin at 18:00. So we had almost 3 hours to wait with absolutely nothing to do, except a camel ride, and a quad bike ride which cost an additional 100 dirham for 20 minutea in an extremely limited area. The sand boarding wasn't reallt an option. By chance we noticed a few snowboards just thrown on the sand, which didn't really work either, as the dunes aren't steep enough for any kind of sand boarding. After waiting for close to 3 hours, the evening began, and was equally disappointing. The dancers were amateurish, the food mediocre at best, and by the end of the evening, all we wanted was to get out of there. The whole experience was disappointing and I can only hope to warn other peoples of this service to avoid the mistake we did.

What a wonderful experience tour from gateway to desert safari, And thanks a lot to alli khan and shakeel bahi they have very good heart, and good humanity, they are explaining each and every thing of desert safari, i wil suggest u guys select shakeel bhai to guide he is very good person.

Desert Safari Experience

Desert Safari was a really good experience with good memories. The tour guide was Abu Ibrahim humble personality and professional. The experience of Dune Bashing was amazing and was good adventure.

i would like to say, it would not be that pleasure if we have not met Mr. Shahzad. he make this trip more memorable, by guiding and trying his best to facilitate us as much as possible. he offered me a cup of karak chai, that was awesome, heheh. moreover he visit us time to time in camp either we are comfortable and require any thing. i appreciate his all loves, caring and politeness. whomsoever would like to visit Safari, only ask for Shehzad. thank you very much for making our day beautiful.

I have visited to many countries but this trip was very special, I thank Mr. Shahzad for being a wonderfull instructor...surely will visit again in Dec 2020 with my family and I would prefer Mr. Shahzad as my instructor again...100% recommended and if you want to make this trip special kindly ask for Mr. Shahzad as your instructor...belive me you will not regret it...

Desert Safari time is too short.

Vehicle is very poor and desert safari time is to short. 1st they pic up in a very poor vehicle and after that services that are included in booking is not all provided.

5* Desert Safari Experience & other tours

I would like to extend a huge thank you to the team at gateway tours who arranged several of my tours during my visits to the UAE including a day trip to Oman. There was a group of 7 girls traveling with me to the UAE. I spoke to a very kind gentleman at Gateway Tours, Muhamad, who helped me plan my itinerary for my travel. I started planning my trip some months in advance and despite me sending several e mail queries and requesting call backs i always spoken to politely and the responses were very prompt and efficient. I booked the following tours with gateway tours and all were were a 5* experience for me. 1) Desert Safari 2) Abu Dhabi Day Tour 3) Fujairah full Day Trip (my absolute favorite) 4) Marina Cruise 5) One full day trip to Oman The desert safari was great, we had so much fun dune bashing, the sunset in the desert was absolutely gorgeous, there were several live shows and all very entertaining including a fire show and a huge variety of food too. Our driver for all tours was the same asides from the Oman day trip. Mr Sarim was one of the most friendliest, kindest, caring, helpful & professional drivers i have come across in my many travels. All our pick-ups and drop-off were on time. We were always given full details of what was included in our tours and the rate were fantastic. I have traveled to the UAE before but the level of customer service & satisfaction i received from gateway tours cannot be compared to other tourism companies. I have since continued to use gateway tours when i have visited UAE and have recommend them to many friends and family members who were very impressed with their service. Amazing Desert Adventure

It was really amazing this trip to desert. Our driver Sana was really nice to all of us! He cares too much to make us enjoy all the experience. I highly recommend you to do this!

A must do when in Dubai

The day started already great when Sana picked us up at Lulu hypermarket. He was there on time and we were welcomed with some amazing beats from the car, so the trip to the desert was already a party. The trip overall was amazing. It was so much fun to cross over the sand dunes in the car, we had some time to take pictures in the desert and Sana was so kind to be our photographer for some amazing jumping pics in the desert. After that we drove to the camp where we had the option to go for a camel ride and sand board for a while. We didn't do the camel ride, but we enjoyed the sandboarding. In the camp we enjoyed all the shows and to top it all up the food was delicious. It was in a buffet format and we had so much food to eat. It is maybe good to know that there are two queues for the food. One for women and the other for men. So keep that in mind when you are in the line, so that you are not standing in the wrong queue. Overall an amazing experience with gateway tours and I really recommend them.

The best experience with Getway tours

Hi, me and my sister did the Dubai desert safari with Getway tours we paid for a car to collect us at the hotel and drop us back after which was very convenient. We had the best experience with our guide from Getway Mahmoud. He was excellent, so attentive and Friendly and easy to chat to as well as being very knowledgeable. The activities were great. We did sand boarding, quad biking, camel riding and dune bashing. We were also provided with a great selection of food and drinks which were delicious and there was loads of options to choose from. There was entertainment throughout the evening with 7 different shows which we enjoyed. I can’t recommend Getway highly enough, the service was great from start to finish and we really enjoyed the company of Mahmoud who was excellent. I would book again with Getway in the future.

VIP Desert Safari

Excellent and professional service, everything was perfectly organized and the services was so nice even with there pick and drop it's was awesome. the dinner is served on tables which provided in a specific area of the camp. I highly recommended.

Everything was perfectly organised. Especially the driver (from Pakistan) was at anytime ready for help and explanation with a smiling face. Great sand dunes ride with 4x4 and awesome camp atmosphere. To recommend!

Desert safari Dubai visit

I and my wife visited the desert Safari with Gate Way tours. We were picked by Mamoon our driver, after picking us up 3 other people were picked up at their hotel. Our driver Mamoon made our trip very enjoyable. The Quad drive is optional, not recommended for the price given. The 4 by 4 dune bashing was a great experience. Camel ride, sandboarding, henna tattoo, buffet and show is included in the tour. Overall I would highly recommend to do this tour when visiting Dubai. I would not recommend the optional Quad drive which is fun but 250 AED, which is approximately, 60 euros which is a bit expensive.
