Absolutely awful. Use the metro system to get around unless you sitting on incredibly uncomfortable seats for an hour to two hours sat In blistering heat and traffic. Not worth the money at all

Fantastic way to see all of Dubai, the new and the old. Tickets included a trip on an old Dhow on the creek. Staff are super friendly and helpful with one guy in particular, Thapa, giving us tremendous help and advice. Throughly recommended.

Great way to see many of the sites

Really enjoyed the ride. The information in the headphones was very enjoyable however, the microphone from the bus driver was garbled and could not understand a single word. The drop offs were easy however the pick ups the bus stops should’ve been more clearly marked. Learned later that there is a way to find/follow, that would’ve been helpful earlier on. Otherwise a great way to spend the day. Checking out a lot of the great sites. Would’ve been nice to have Water on board since it mentioned it but the coolers were empty.. title of

Great Dubai hop on/hop off!

Great tour of old Dubai & new Dubai including the historical areas as well as the Palm & everything in between. Lots of interesting info on the audio part of the tour & we got lots of great pix. Marco Julio was very helpful & professional in booking the trip for us, & he was also very responsive on WhatsApp to any questions we had about the pickup, etc. Would highly recommend! 😀

Tour is OK, but buses are old and not clean

Tour is OK, but buses are old and not clean Booking Reference Number is: CST0012136728 The tour is good, but expensive. The buses we have taken were old, and the AC did not work.... we were promised a 90 minute journey, but the bus stopped about 20 minutes in Dubai Frame parking.... the buses are not punctual, not clean enough. A tourist bus going on the highway is strange and not interesting. I would not recommend.

Not worth the money

We’ve done hop on off buses world wide and this one ranks as one of my less favoured. Last time we were in Dubai we did big bus and it was great and we thought we’d try this one as it had a shorter night tour. The day tour was ok but apparently not as many stops as the big bus. The night tour however was shocking! No commentary and pretty much the same route as the Blue route we’d not long for off! It was not supposed to be hop on or off but people did and we waited 19 mins before heading off at one point in the tour. Felt this tour was a money grab. If the night tour is something you want to do then don’t choose this bus. We had done city sightseeing in Singapore and it was well organised and the night tour had people lining up to board in and orderly fashion, no racing for seats and needed to prebook. No such luck on this tour however. Singapore had a real person giving the commentary and was interesting. Pick up your game Dubai! Very expensive and not worth the dollars.

A bit rushed in 24 hours

We always like to do a city sightseeing bus. The entertainer app gives you two for one on this so it was a bit more realistic. We had lots of plans in Dubai so just went for the 24 hour pass. We went on the red route then the blue. If we had it to do again we wouldnt bother with the red, unless you want to do the Dubai frame or museum of the future (the latter is just a stop off as tickets seem to be sold out well in advance). The blue was decent, but we ran out of time, so didn’t get to all the places we wanted to stop. Also we were disappointed there was no water in the buses when it says that there will be, vital on a hot day.

Great Experience

Locations are great and indeed best experience. Should add to the bucket list when visiting Dubai. Kuddos to Daniel and Meraj very handful and give you best assistance you need.

The service of the bus is very good and punctual

It was very fun. I enjoyed it. The service is good. The only problem that I had was that the headphones were not very very clear and they were cutting a lot plus every time we arrive the speaker of the driver when he was telling us where to stop was not clear

Hopping on and Off was wonderful

Meraj and other bus drivers and crew were very helpful and always provided service with a smile. Hop on hop off tour is highly recommended for anyone who is visiting Dubai for the first time as it orientates Dubai and its key attractions !!

Traffic Logjam

Absolutely appalling experience. We have literally moved 100m in 45 minutes. We are hungry and late for dinner. We are stuck in the most awful traffic and the driver keeps letting cars in in front of him. We would be quicker walking. Unless you have nothing else to do, get a taxi. Hoping that the bus doesn’t run out of diesel…it is now completely dark and freezing upstairs.

Do not book through Viator

DO NOT book through Viator for this trip. Not only are they more expensive but they have horrible customer service and are fraudulent. They refused to refund me for a valid cancelation and lied. Do NOT trust them.

Avoid

Horrible run down busses. Upper level AC rooms are not functioning and suffocating. Radio does not work. Online false instructions. They say that you can come on any stop with online voucher. This is a lie. Some stops are impossible to find. Stop #7 on Blue line has completely different location than what is on the route map. Bus broke during a ride. Half ride on Blue line took more than 2 hours. 80 Euros for all this nightmare is a complete rip off. Worst experience in Dubai.

Great way to see Dubai!

I would highly recommend City Sightseeing Hop-On Hop-Off Bus as a great way to see Dubai! I purchased the 48 hours pass directly through the City Sightseeing website, and I'd say you need at least the 2-day or 3-day pass to really see all of Dubai. The hop-on hop-off bus brought me to places I may have not visited otherwise, and opting to do this bus was economical too. Taxis and Ubers around the city, especially in traffic or rush hour, can get really expensive, so the bus was a much cheaper way to get around and get a good impression of Dubai as a whole. If you purchase your pass directly through the City Sightseeing website vs. on Trip Advisor, it's cheaper, so I'd recommend doing that instead!

Dangerous and horrifying experience

We had an absolutely horrifying experience with this company. The driver drove like an absolute lunatic through the traffic in Dubai, breaking harshly, intimidating other Road users and constantly on his horn. He pulled off while we were still trying to ascend the stairs! Never again.

Best way to see the sights in Dubai

The best, and cheapest way to see the best of Dubai is to use the City Sightseeing Hop On - Hop Off buses. Mr Meraj Mohammad ( such a gentleman ) and his fantastic team are based at the Dubai Mall and will guide you to your destinations.

A long day....

We used both red and blue routes, we only got off at 1 stop (where we had lunch for about an hour) and we were on the bus from 10:00am to 4pm! It is a great way to see the sights, but there is also a lot of motorway and sometimes a big gap between stops! I wouldn't do this again, I would instead use the Metro to get to the places I wanted to see, the metro stops at the majority of the major sights.

Recommended, great way to see all the sights.

We bought a 3 day pass which included a night tour. We did both routes completely first then when doing the routes a second time we knew where we wanted to get off to explore. Great way or getting around Dubai. Night tour was good but traffic at night in Dubai can be busy, I think the route was changed slightly due to this. Special mention to Meraj Mohammad, such a gentlemen and very informative, we had a lovely conversation with him whilst waiting to change bus routes at Dubai Mall. Download the app so you can keep an eye on where the buses are, however there is often a member of staff at each drop off point to advise of timings for pickups.

One day pass sight seeing

Used both red and blue routes and the dhow cruise. Staff helpful . Did both routes and the cruise in one day. Only got off at the cruise stop and we were on the bus from 10:30 to 5pm! Would recommend a two day pass to get best value and more opportunity to get off. We had time constraints. Thoroughly enjoyed the information and the sights .

Terrific Tour and Personnel

We bought a 2 day pass, which included the Creek cruise and Atlantis aquarium. it was so comprehensive and interesting. Definitely the way to see Dubai. The central point was next to the Dubai Mall, where there is a terrific foodhall catering for everyone`s needs. We must give a special mention to Meraj Mohammad, who was based at the central meeting point and gave us great advice and help on how to get the best out of the service. Lovely man! There are 2 routes, both of great interest, and a night route out to the Palms. Although it may seem a little pricey, it is actually good value, as you can get to every place of interest and easily fill your 2 days.

Hop oh Hop off was a great experience and worth the money.

The stops are great and the pickup waits are short. The buses are clean and the drivers were very good. Dubai traffic made it slower.

Poor

I paid for the trip but Viator didn’t send the voucher in time for me to use it, so I had to pay again with a different supplier. Viator have refused to refund me even though I didn’t use their voucher. Poor PR.

Fantastic sightseeing bus tour in Dubai. Absolutely brilliant way to explore Dubai. The bus with a 48-hour hop-on/hop-off option was wonderful. We saw everything we wanted, thanks to the assistance of Mohammed Meraj and Faheem Javed. Without the help of these wonderful people, we wouldn't have been able to enjoy the trip because we didn't have QR code with us just reference number.. The tickets included an additional bonus, a Night Coach Tour by bus. We would definitely use the services of this company again in Dubai. Awesome Dubai City Sightseeing bus Tour

Absolutely brilliant way to get around Dubai. The hop on/hop off 48hr bus was fabulous. We got to see everything we wanted with the help of Meraj.Mohammad, he helped us navigate our way through the red and blue bus routes and work out times for us to go up the palm view after we realised we hadnt booked a time slot before we boarded the buses. If it wasnt for the help of the staff we would have ran out of time to see the view. Especially as some of the roads where being closed in the morning for all the presidential COP visitors. The tickets included extras, a Dhow creek Cruise which was so lovely and relaxing, plus entry to the aquarium at the atlantis Palm hotel. Plus a sunset night coach tour . There was always a City sightseeing bus representative at each stop. Each one ready to help. I would definitely use this company again in Dubai. Thankyou Mohammed Meraj you are a credit to the company

Dubai 2023-The monts of monts holidays

It was an unforgettable vacation during the 5 days I was there with my group. We had time to see the sights, go out to restaurants, go to the hotel pool, sunbathe, go swimming in the Persian Gulf .Moll Dubai fascinated us. I would come back here anytime with pleasure! the weather was only good for walking, 27 degrees. The food and people are exceptional, always smiling! I am so glad that I was able to get here! The city bus route a it was fabulous! The team that works here, exceptional! I will share our experience with other friends! We hug you!

Hop on hop off experience

This is an excellent way to see all the main sights around the area. We did the old tour first followed by the dinner time river cruise and then the over tour out to the Jumeriah area and Atlantis. This was much longer and by time finished had been very informative but did not leave much time to hop on hop off so would suggest a 2 day pass to enjoy the benefits.

Excellent Customer Service

We have done Red Bus Hop On Hop Off in many cities around the world. In Dubai, the sales reps and bus drivers were extremely polite and helpful. We did an afternoon tour around the city and then stayed to go on the evening tour, which shows the city all lit up. You don’t want to be below or even under the canopy on the top deck for this tour. The lights are amazing. That being said, traffic in Dubai is horrible and you will spend a fair bit of time stuck in traffic. Still, it may be the easiest way to sightsee around the city and stop at places you want to visit.

Abused by an Arab sales rep

We approached an arab salesman at Dubai mall as were interested in the city sightseeing tour. He explained in english though his arab accent was a little mumbled so after a 16 second conversation, I asked him to confirm the price offer so I could pay, and he rudely shouted "what is wrong with you are you not listening?! Now listen to me!!" After he said that, he lost our business and we walked off. I have never been so rudely abused like this before. What I have learnt from this is Arabs have zero patience. They just want you to wave your credit card, no questions asked. They think they are above all. I would not recommend this business as you are treated like ants.

A wild ride across a busy city!

We were disappointed with the commentary on the headset but regardless this is a safe and simple way to negotiate the city of Dubai. All of the major sightseeing stops are easily accessible. The buses are always filled to capacity. We were surprised to be flying down the highway at 100kph on the open top deck of the bus. Bring eye protection!! The staff at each of the stops were all very helpful and friendly.

Great showcase of Dubai

The tour was very good - providing comprehensive coverage of both the old and modern Dubai. Particularly enjoyed the sunset tour with the chance to see attractions at night time. Our operator Merat-Mohammad was cooperative, welcoming and helped clear up our questions about Dubai and the tour.

There's a better option

We wanted a solid intro to Dubai plus an easy way to get between attractions efficiently; HOHO buses in other cities had given us this. In Dubai we found the HOHO option we chose ran every 30 minutes - except sometimes they didn't show up. Their Blue circuit (2.5h) had no stops of interest to us at all, being almost all beach hotels with little apparent access to the actual beach. The commentary was mostly about how wonderful Dubai hotels and bars etc are, very little on actual history and points of general interest. The Red Route (1.5h) was more promising, but we got off to see the Dubai Museum only to find it hasn't reopened since Covid (they could have said!), and the Dubai frame had a 2 hour queue to get in (no thanks). Their app was supposed to show when the next bus was due (not reliable) and lacked any other useful info - eg a photo of what each bus stop looked like in case you were on foot, background info on opening times so didn't get off to find you were too early/late and useful websites for nearby attractions. Their staff were the best part, very helpful, but overall the experience was quite disappointing. We booked online - only discovered after we arrived there was an alternative HOHO bus service that seemed much more frequent and had better info, we would use them if we ever went again.

Would not recommend 1 day pass due to price

Felt a little on the expensive side (as things in Dubai tended to be, 1 day was 300 AED if you have time a 48 hour pass is probably better value unfortunately we didn't. There was quite a bit of travel between hop off sites especially on the blue line though interesting to drive around Dubai. Why the average we were going to get off at one stop we were in the top up front air conditioned part by the time we got down the steps the bus took off and we missed our stop. There are better and cheaper ways of getting around if you are touring for one day.

Slow Buses

Buses were always late. The driver told us we were on the night tour which was not suppose to stop and it did which made the tour longer than stated.

I did 2 days ride at hop On - Hop Off bus in Dubai. It was an excellent way to see all the main points. I got the chance to meet (twice) the nicest driver ever... thank you so much Meraj-Mohammad for your kindness.

Helpful, informative, and convenient! Good orientation!

Such helpful people! At Mall of Dubai, Meraj Mohammed helped with suitcases and a taxi (at main driveway, not taxi rank inside) after my knee started acting up. The next day he recognized me and was again helpful! Faheem Jared at Mall of Dubai and Mostapha at Port Rashid also worked with me to move around Dubai. I find this bus service informative and interesting, and buy a 2 day ticket in order to return to places I found worth more time.
