Great for swimming as well as sightseeing

Four waterholes in one day, all beautiful and unique with Berry Springs the best of them, though it’s hard to choose. I’m glad I chose this tour over the others for that reason.

We have a fabulous day. Our guide Jason had great knowledge and organised the day very well. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience the national park.

A fantastic day made even better by Aaron. Aaron is so knowledgeable as well as being a really nice man; he was very kind and thoughtful when I didn’t feel very well. He went out of his way to make sure I still enjoyed the day. I highly recommend this wonderful excursion.

Bucket list 👌

Aaron our host was amazing ,Lichfield Park is definitely a to do. Wangi was a beautiful place but at this point in time you couldn't swim but that didn't matter. Buley we swam there ,stunning falls had a lovely lunch there as well ,then to the plunge pool as Aaron calls it at Florence falls. Absolutely stunning beautiful place to swim even had Aaron in the water taking photos for everyone, but not only that Aaron explained alot about the plants ,trees etc how they could & can be used. You can't leave Darwin without doing this tour .

An amazing tour

We were picked up from our Hotel, taken to 3?falls, 3 swimming spots and it was a very informative and interactive tour, we learnt about the Flora and Fauna of Darwin , sampling along the way Enjoyable and knowledgeable we had a fantastic time very good hosts and very friendly

Best single days excursion

An amazing day spent with a friendly small group and very knowledgeable and entertaining guide who went the extra effort to share his years of experience and local information on all the flora & fauna. Outstanding swimming holes under the waterfalls which were a welcome relief in the heat. Dan managed to find us less busy options, nice walks and ensured everyone was safe & happy & knew us all by name.

We were blessed to have Aaron guide us today as he worked so hard to ensure we were all well looked after and able to experience everything. He was knowledgeable and very personable and genuinely cared for our enjoyment. A fabulous day out in a beautiful part of the world.

One day tour for those short on time!

Tour was great - Dan was very knowledgeable and made it worthwhile. Good value for money and all the group was catered for. Batchelor was a great way to end the day. Highly recommended to all.

Litchfield National Park Day Tour

We had such an incredible day on this tour! Dan was a brilliant guide, very knowledgeable about the area, and took us to some beautiful spots in the national park. Learned a lot and had an unforgettable experience that I would definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed this day- our guide Aaron was so lovely and knowledgeable, and one of the swimming spots had nobody else there aside from our tour group. It’s a smaller tour group too, which really helps logistics and everyone chatting and swapping NT travel tips. Highly recommend.

Great day in Litchfield, non-crowded swimming holes

We had a great day with Aaron’s jovial guidance! He knows A LOT about the region and is very generous with his knowledge and a funny guy. He took us to a beautiful swimming hole where our small group were the only people there! Very special. Recommend this tour!

We were sorry about the...

We were sorry about the fact our day did not take place, we booked and paid for it, then in a matter of hours we were told it was cancelled. Then we had to get the refund, which in the end was no hassle…. But we were disappointed as we were looking forward to it.

A perfect taste of Litchfield beauty

Fantastic day out and great value. Our tour guide Aaron set the friendly, welcoming vibe that is characteristic of the NT, and offered lots of interesting facts about the local history, flora and fauna. Very well organised and professional, while still feeling relaxed. There was a perfect balance between seeing the popular tourist spots and a few hidden gems. A great option for solo travellers and those without a car.

Beautiful

It was a breathtaking experience. Right from the start, as soon as we boarded the bus early in the morning, our guide established a connection with all the members of the group, making us feel like true explorers rather than mere tourists. Throughout the journey, his voice accompanied us with explanations of useful information about the park, the local flora and fauna, and highlighting with examples from real stories the behaviors not to adopt in case of getting lost in the forest. Fantastic One Day Litchfield Park Adventures

We had a great day out at Litchfield with Litchfield Park Adventures. We went to many different water holes and Dan was an excellent guide as well as entertaining. The tour was informative as Dan had good knowledge of his surroundings including flora and fauna. Dan provided the floats for those that were not strong swimmers and they too were able to enjoy themselves in these beautiful surroundings. The lunch was sufficient and next time I am in Darwin I will also do the fishing tour with Gavin - the fishing guide who lives and breathes fishing. Unfortunately on this holiday I ran out of time. We had lots of fun on this tour and I recommend this excursion to everyone.

April 22, 2024. One day Litchfield National Park

Had a wonderful day with Aaron as our guide. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. Taught us a lot about the local fauna and flora including medicinal uses of plants. We visited some beautiful waterfalls and swimming holes. Would definitely recommend this tour with Aaron.

The trip was great! Aaron our guide was very knowledgeable and made the whole trip more fun, he even risked his phone to take photos for us while we were swimming

The day was awesome! Beautiful waterfalls and crystal clear swimming holes. Aaron our tour guide was amazing, very knowledgeable, friendly, and went out of his way to accommodate us!

Must be physically fit

Litchfield Park Adventures is a great basic tour. We drove for several hours from Darwin to LNP. Based on the weather, water levels and croc sightings, stops will change. We visited 2 swimming holes, saw several falls, took in the local flora and fauna and had a filling and nutritious lunch. Aaron, our guide, was super friendly and went out of his way to tell us about the plants and animals. A note about lunch.... this is the only tour we took that really means it when they say to bring a container with your drink. They had a 4 gallon container of water that was just plain tap water. No ice, which would have been refreshing as hot as the van was. So bring a cooler or frozen drinks. Where the whole thing fell apart for us was the physicality. If you are under 60, can swim and are in good shape, you should be fine. My husband and I both have walking issues and the booker for this tour said we'd be fine. We weren't. I had to sit out the last 2 stops. Aaron kindly brought me some of the plant samples and told me about them and the park was nice to see but I was certainly disappointed.

Litchfield National Park in a day!

Aaron did an amazing job at making us feel welcomed. The tour was small and very personalised. Aaron made sure we got to experience as much of Litchfield National Park as the wet season allows. We saw a few wallabies and a goanna but they were too quick for a photo. Aaron’s knowledge of the flora and fauna added to our experience. We learnt lots about the history of Darwin, Aboriginal culture, food and medicines. Thank you for an awesome day! Highly recommend this tour.

Adventurous and relaxed day out

We had a great day with Aaron today. Although some swimming spots were closed off, Aaron knew all the spots to take us so that we could still go for a dip and cool off. He also had many interesting facts to share about the park and it's flora and fauna. It was an adventurous tour which wasn't rushed and I would highly recommend!

A memorable tour of Litchfield National Park.

Our tour guide, Joey, ensured our small group of 6 had a highly entertaining and informative tour of Litchfield Park. He was very knowledgeable, entertaining, and made the day one of the most enjoyable day tours we have experienced. It is a day we will treasure and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Darwin.

Great day exploring Litchfield

I spent a lovely day exploring Litchfield National Park on an overcast day in the wet season, where they received a lot of rain in the previous 24 hours, so a few things were closed. Our fearless leader Aaron did not let that dampen our day, and he took us on a whirlwind adventure with plenty of sights, two swimming spots, and countless wildlife. Aaron is full of information about the park and surrounding areas, and really cares about his guests and the park. Thanks for a great day, I'll be back next time I'm in Darwin.

Great day out in Litchfield NP

I had a fantastic day exploring Litchfield National Park, led by our fearless guide Aaron who really knows his stuff. It was a day in the wet season that followed very heavy rainfall the night before, so a few of the normal sights were closed, but that didn't stop Aaron from delivering a very enjoyable day. We visited two spots for swimming that were just beautiful, and saw countless amounts of wildlife, my highlight was the dingo. Thanks Aaron, I'll be back next time I'm in this part of Aus. Nicole

Fantastic Family Trip

Beautiful day, especially for our child who loves to swim. We made a family trip of it and really enjoyed ourselves. Beautiful scenery, we learned a lot and enjoyed cooling off in the beautiful falls.

Great day out

Had a great day Aaron was a hive of information on the area and surrounds. A great picnic lunch after a swim in a secluded rock pool. Then spectacular swim under waterfalls.

Great trip to Lichfield Park with a knowledgeable guide. It was a shame the butterfly farm was closed as I was looking forward to seeing them.

A Boxing day escape in Litchfield

The park's natural beauty left me in awe, with breathtaking landscapes that exceeded my expectations. Despite being in the wet season, we were blessed with a sunny day, resulting in little to no crowds and a chance to fully appreciate the magnificence of the waterfalls. Along the way, we encountered fascinating wildlife such as wallabies, golden orb spiders, fruit bats, and various fishes. The crystal-clear water at the swimming holes provided a refreshing escape from the tropical heat Our tour guide, Aaron, played a pivotal role in making the experience truly memorable. His infectious enthusiasm, humour, and extensive knowledge added a dynamic layer to the journey. Not only did he navigate the park with expertise, but he also shared insightful information about the native flora & fauna and their relationship with the Aboriginal people. Overall, this visit to Litchfield National Park was such a pleasurable summer-day escape. I definitely recommend this tour to all travellers who'd like to immerse themselves in the top end's nature.

Walks with Wonder

This was a gorgeous and beautiful experience. The swimming locations were straight out of a fantasy. Beautiful walks with surreal views. The guide was very informative and clearly loves his work ;) it made the whole day not only fun but it went by way too fast!! Perfect end to a perfect day - Butterfly Farm. Do it!!!

Spectacular 😍

So much information provided. Within the first few hours we had seen a number of animals. Aaron knew his history and bush medicine. The whole day was spectacular. One for the memory bank!

You will learn a lot about the Top End, herbs animals, insects and trees and flowers 💐 Aaron was a great guide knowledgeable and likeable. Enjoy.

Once in a lifetime adventure in Litchfield.

The water falls and pools were spectacular. Aaron was a thoughtful and knowledgeable guide and prepared a lovely picnic. More walking than we thought but worth it as we cooled in the pools and cascades. Lots of flys but ‘Tis the season!

Much better than the others

Aaron was wonderful and so knowledgeable. Very professional and passionate. I was on a very similar tour with another company last Feb and it was nowhere near as good as this experience. Aaron showed us native animals, plants and fruits. Thanks so much Aaron - highly recommend this experience!

Really great experience

Great day tour. Aaron was really friendly and laid back. He was more than happy to take photos for us, which was really good. The included lunch was lovely and one of the reasons we picked this tour over other ones. We had ample time at the different swimming areas. Speaking of swimming, Florence Falls was a highlight for me and my Mum, it was so lovely. We were shown the termite mounds and had plenty of photo opportunities. We were also shown local bush food and medicines. We were really lucky and saw plenty of wildlife while we were in Litchfield. Overall, a really great experience that was really enjoyable. We missed one of the swimming holes as this was in the off season and the swimming hole was closed but we weren't disappointed as the other ones were so good. The butterfly house was a little disappointing, as the owner wasn't there, so there weren't many butterflies, but the mango smoothies were amazing and we did get to see and feed a collection of farm animals.

Amazing tour, highly recommended

Had a awesome day at Lietchfield. Our driver/tour guide Aaran was amazing and went above and beyond to ensure we had a very good day. He even went into the pool with us to take pictures for us. Tour started with on time pickup. On the way to the first fall, he stopped a couple of times to show us something. Visited 3 awesome falls in total and had time in each for a swim. At the first fall, he also prepared lunch (wraps which we could fill on our own). After the falls we saw the termite mounds followed by the last stop at the butterfly farm were we bought tasty Mango smoothies/daiquiri.

CAUTION this may be a SCAM site. All I know is that I booked the tour for a Friday, then they notified me that the tour was cancelled, and tried to rebook me, but I couldn't do a different day. They promised a refund would come but made me cancel it myself, and never refunded my money.
