Absolute must for visitors to Egypt

An absolute must to get away from the tourist areas in Cairo and Giza. Our guide was Anton and he was outstanding for the whole trip, making sure we did everything we wanted to. After being slightly disappointed by lazy guides around Giza spending half of the day trying to sell us Papyrus and oils, we were concerned about this trip but it was completely the opposite. Incredibly unique and the absolute highlight of our trip.

The best time!!

Outstanding experience with Magdy and his team!!!! I was a bit jet lagged for the trip and I lost a pair of sunglasses and a variety of other unfortunate circumstances, but Magdy and his team saved the day every time, seamlessly without any fuss! Truly hospitable and professional.

Excellent experience with unforgettable

I have really great time since we start tour with very delicious breakfast ;falafel; then we start tour to white desert with unforgettable camping there. And after we took long drive to Siwa, even it took so long time but everything there is incredible. We love Siwa so much, salt lake, desert safari and Siwa culture, everything is so nice. Before we go back to Cairo, we stop by Alexandria, the weather is cool and comfortable. Catacomb is amazing. And of course Cairo is gorgeous with pyramid. All of the program is excellent especially tour guide , Ayman and Said, they made us have enjoy moment here in Egypt. Everything is Egypt is super gorgeous. I already miss Egypt and hopefully to go back there again.

Poor overall experience, but glad we did it.

Siwa is definitely worth visiting. Our leader Magdy made the entire trip! He was energetic and thoughtful- 5 stars for him. Our driver was excellent, as was the local tour guide in Siwa. The salt lakes, town tour, dune bashing and sand boarding were experiences of a lifetime. I could never recommend this tour however because of a few things. The hotel the first night was good, but probably very rustic for most folks- we are experienced travelers and found it okay for us though. Nice pool and beautiful courtyard area. The accommodations in the "desert camp" were far from okay. Tents with sleeping bags on the ground. We used 3 tents for our group and 2 of them had broken zippers. The third had rips in it and allowed many mosquitoes in through the night. The overall location was not at all in the desert, but on the outskirts of town. There was a lot of traffic and yelling in the streets and a problem with stray dogs. There was a nasty dog fight right in front of our tents and we were prevented from accessing our tents several times because of aggressive dogs. The staff at the camp seemed more concerned with hanging out together than with anything we needed. The dinner they cooked us was delicious, but then they were up playing instruments and talking loudly until after 3 AM. We began our journey home after a very small breakfast. The car ride back to Cairo was 10 hours with no food or opportunities to buy lunch or dinner (other than chips and pop). Overall we are so glad that we experienced Siwa, but I have major hesitations recommending this tour to anyone. Our leader, guide, and driver were the only things I would recommend because they we great.

Don’t think, just book it!

We had such fantastic time! I am a female traveling solo, and my tour guide, Aimen and driver, Said made sure I am well taken care of and safe. It’s a lot packed into 3 days but I only had 5 days in Egypt so the program was perrrrrrrffff for me. Love the Shali fortress, love the desert safari, love the salt lakes, love everything!

I am so glad I took this tour. It was so enjoyable and well-planned. I only had 5 days in Egypt and a 3-day program was perfect. Our group was small so our tour guide, Aimen and driver Said treated us like family, took care of us and make sure safety and our interests are the top priorities. Just ok

Pro's - Amazing experience at all of the historical sites + the Salt lakes even if it was just for 30mins - The tour guide who guided me through the historical sites is very knowledgeable an amazing historian if you ask me - Great driver Con's - Didn't make it to Mursa when headed to Siwa as per the itinerary (was meant to stop off on the way back to Cairo, but the driver had to tend to his son in hospital, which I was understanding of). - The campsite that I stayed at on the first night is apparently "new", but it looked like a work in progress with no proper amenities. - The amenities that it did have (only two toilets + basin outside to wash hands) looked like it was constructed using old sanitary fixtures that looked like it was literally picked up from a dump and installed, dirty and old. - Nothing to the campsite, just 3 tents and a fire pit. I was told that the campsite is not the regular campsite that the tour company uses. Given the issues with people who were meant to be on this tour cancelling, I suspect the tour company placed me in what I'm calling a dirty & unpleasant (sh** hole) place because the cost of catering for one person on a tour is expensive and they have no proper solution in place to cover costs besides cancelling your original booking and paying cash (this solution was not feasible for me). - Originally booked for Friday the 10th of May, got shifted to Saturday due to the rest of my group cancelling, only for it to be a waste of time because the people that were meant to be on the Saturday tour also cancelled. - The Siwa salt Lakes tour was only 30mins not 1hr 30mins. Tbh I am really disappointed in this given this was the highlight for me and the real reason why I took this tour. - The tour guide I had was unprofessional, especially because I am a female travelling solo.

Amazing

At the beginning, my trip almost got canceled because I was suppose to go with an other group. And the group canceled due to family reasons. Thanks to Touritos, we found a deal to make sure my trip is maintained. I spend 3 amazing days with my guide Eimen and my driver Hani. There were so kind to me, make sure I missed anything, that I am confortable. That I got enough food or drinks. They did not make it to ask tips. They did it with their heart. I learnt several things. Plus the landscapes in Siwa were breahtaking. Any of this wouldn’t be possible without Eimen and Hani. So, once again, thank you guys for these 3 wonderful days.

Must to do in Egypt

I don't even know where to start. I had an incredible time in Siwa. Our driver Mohamed was an amazing person and will help you with anything and give you information about almost everything. Ahmed was the craziest tour guide ever. We had incredible memories with them. Sandboarding in the desert, enjoying Arabic music, watching the incredible sunset and floating on the magnificent salt lake. If you are going to Egypt you should definitely take this tour and especially ask for Mohamed and Ahmed. I was in Egypt for about a month and it was the best 3 days I spent. Of course, having the person I love with me added a different beauty in this tour. We love you and miss you Mohamed and Ahmed Sincerely Nazli and Mustafa :)

Great from start to finish

The highlight of our trip to Egypt. The whole team was very professional. They came to pick us up at 5:00AM at our hotel in Giza. Very punctual. The road from Siwa to Cairo and back is long (~10 hours) but thanks to the driver Mohamed who did everything he could to make us confortable (drinks, snacks, bathroom break) it flew by fast. Once we arrived we where greeted by Aymin and had a first amazing meal in Siwa before going for the visits of Cold and Hot Springs and some really fun (and fast!) Desert Safari followed by sandboard on the dunes. We ended our day by a tea break and food in the desert with a small camp fire. Throughout the afternoon our guide Hassan made sure everyone was confortable and gave us lots of insights on the Siwan desert. We ended the day at the Hot Springs camp with a nice dinner. Second day we were given a tour of Siwa with Boubakr who was a very knowledgeable guide and had answer to all of our questions. The story of Siwa as explained by our guide was fascinating and we learned a lot about the landmarks and habits of Siwan people through the visits of Oracle Temple, Mountain of the Dead and so much more. After the guided tour we headed to the famous salt lakes for a swim which was amazing and went back to the Cleopatra Bath for lunch. Ended the day with a dinner in the city center and back to our hotel. Third day was already time to go back to Cairo with amazing memories of all time spent in Siwa the amazing people we met. Would definitely recommend taking this tour with Touritos. Thanks again to the whole team for the kindness Aymin, Hassan, Mohammed, Boubakr and all the others who made our 3 days and unforgivable experience we will never forget.

This was really a wonderful experience overall. I can't recommend it enough. The travel company was great and very communicative starting two days before the trip began. Places they take you are wonderful, and the local tour guides are brilliant and insightful. It is a very full trip, so be prepared for a full schedule. Extremely safe environment from the pickup to the drop off, even for solo travelers. Lots of tourists in Siwa so one never feels like an outsider. The car ride was quite hot in the backseat since the a/c didn't quite reach the backseat passengers. Beautiful people, beautiful culture, beautiful experience. Don't hesitate to do this trip. I would do it again (and might!).

The great experience in Siwa

Siwa is an amazing tourist spot in Egypt! It has the unique history, cultural landscape, the spring, the hot spring, the salted lake and the amazing desert. Not only these attractive points but also the kindness and friendly Siwa people surprise me. You will never find the tourist spot in Egypt which offer very reasonable price for the local souvenirs. The private tour package is well designed and organized. You can fully enjoy Siwa and discover this oasis. What made me unforgettable experience is the safari and salted lake! During safari, tour guide Ayman let me try sand board along a big slope and I really enjoyed it. Besides, I saw the fox after the sand board. The blue of the salted lake also surprised me with its light blue! It was a really great journey that I will recommend.

Destination not to miss out…

We had fabulous experiences in Siwa. Siwa is very reach in history and wonders which you dont want to miss out. We enjoyed every activity and tour on our 3 day package. Going with a 19 month toddler was a worry at the start but it turned out to be fulfilling and unforgettable moments for the entire family. The safari couldn’t be more amazing than what we experienced…very experienced drivers, funny and enjoyable turns..thanks to Ayman and the drivers for the experience., this can not go without appreciating the wonders of the salt lakes…🙏 Site visits in Siwa and the amazing sunset views was amazing..thanks to Abu Bakari and his amazing son Mohamad for the detailed explanations and guide…we really enjoyed. All these could not be possible without the kind heart, amazing and cool drive from and back to Cairo by our driver Mostafa. He is so lovely and a great driver you need to ask this company @Cairo Vallera Tours. One advice for improvement will be on the camping site. Organizers can do better by informing visitors on what to expect and what to bring…things like mosquito repellents, a flash light, etc. Also it can add more value by having simple mattresses on the floor.. Apart from that minor setback, the rest of the tour was amazing…worth the 3 days time off your busy schedule..we loved it… and we will for sure plan for another visit inshallah..👌🙏

Magical three days in Siwa 🌴

Words cannot describe how magical those three days in Siwa were - the definite highlight of our trip to Egypt. Thanks to Hassan and Ayman we surely saw the most beautiful sundowns, only had amazing food in the coziest restaurants and slept in natural but elegant surroundings. Both rides - back and forth - were fast and as pleasant as such long car journeys can be. Ayman stopped whenever we needed a break and even let us decide on the music. We independently decided about the pickup time for our journey back to Cairo. In Siwa Hassaan picked us up after one of the most amazing lunches we had in Egypt. From then on he made sure nothing was missing - we loved the lodge we slept at as well as the camp for the second night. Besides our hosts hospitality of course the salt lakes, dune bashing and sandboarding in the Sahara were unique and unforgettable. Not less than that we enjoyed the Siwa tour and climbing the old fortress in the morning. A few side notes: after reading the reviews carefully we were afraid there might be not enough food and we would end up hungry. That was never the case - in fact every meal was perfectly timed and especially on the Siwa day we were stuffed! There is really nothing to complain about. If you want to visit Siwa we strongly recommend to do it with Hassan as he will show you the loveliest spots for a reasonable price. The only thing that could be improved is giving more clues about the timing. For instance when you’re left alone in a restaurant or a historical sight I think it would be easier for both parties to simply announce the expected time to leave the place again. Then it wouldn’t be necessary to check on us. But that is really just a minor thought. We will never forget this place full of stunning nature, views, people and history - and be back with Hassan for sure! 🙏

Amazing trip however read my comments

We went on this trip and I would totally recommend it to everyone up for an adventure, the views and experience the trip gives you is absolutely amazing. However there are a few things that you should be aware of before going. We booked the trip due to the salt lakes and the picture in the add looks absolutely amazing, we saw everything else as a bonus in the program. Anyway the salt lake does not look like the picture, however the salt lakes was still an good experience and we talked with the responsible about why we did not got to see the place in the picture and they explained the reason for us. The area changes from times to times due to the salt industry in the area. I think that’s good to know before going, to know what you can expect on the trip and that it might look totally different from the photos you see before. Our driver Waleed was amazing during the whole trip and very attentive to us and our wellbeing. We had lots of fun during the trip and the long drive from Cairo felt less with his company. If you get him as your driver you’re more then lucky! The time spent in the desert was absolutely amazing and the views will be a memory for life. A recommendation for the hungry ones are to bring some own protein bars/nuts/etc to fill out between the meals, I would not call this trip “all inclusive” in the food category. A trip that you must do to save to your memory bank for life.

Brilliant trip to Siwa - a must book

We had a wonderful time in Siwa, the trip was fantastic from driving over the sand dunes and sandboarding at sunset to swimming in the desert Oasis and learning about the history of Siwa with our brilliant local guide Abubakar. We couldn’t fault the experience and our driver Saied who drove us all the way from Cairo was always friendly and drove us everywhere safely. Would highly recommend!

magical beautiful siwa

all in all an amzing tour and worth a visit. our schedule was slightly different to the one discribed, but still wonderful! siwa oasis, the desert and the historical sites are breathtaking. during this trip we had so much food, i do not remember when i ate this much last time 😂 only thing which might be good to know: the oasis spring camp does not provide towels, so bring one for the hot (warm) springs and also the sleeping bags are not freshly washed, but used from the guests the night before as well as the pillows, so if you like it more hygenical bring an own sleeping bag ;) there were a lot of flies in the morning (heads up). the ecolodge was dreamy and the rooms beautiful and lovely! the whole trip we were so warmly taken care of! also the guides and organisers were wonderful and lovely! all in all we can highly recommand this tour! oh and during the ride from cairo and back we just slept, so 8-9 hours do not seem too long ;) definately book this tour! it is worth it!

A surprising visit to a beautiful landscape and wonderful culture

Amazing and unique 4wd desert Safari and salt lake experiences, surrounding a relaxed oasis culture. Best guide ever in Amn, he made the trip so enjoyable, and is very mindful of your best interests. There is a camping night, in a very comfortable camp, but it’s not for everyone. Though we loved the trip as a whole.

A little be of everything: history, sports, adventure and leisure

Apart from long trips to Siwa and back, which took us approximately 10 hours each way, the trip was pretty good, the itinerary included a lot of stops, historical insight, some adventure and leisure activities. All in all, it was a good combination. The staff was very good, friendly and was doing their best so that we would have a great time. Our guide. Hasan, was very helpful and made sure that everything went well. Mohammed, the driver, was also very nice and helpful.

Siwa tour with Touritos_ A must in Egypt

Had the most amazing tour and lucky to be grouped with the most wonderful travelers. Syed and Hassan made sure that we are safe, comfortable , and enjoying every part of the tour. Will definitely recommend this to co- travelers and friends. I also booked pyramid tours with them but unfortunately, that sucks. The guide Moeni ( if i am not mistaken by her name ) made the whole pyramid experience disaster. Complain was raised to the manager the same time. The manager/ owner act promptly . but time can never be back. This I will not recommend.

Great experiencing an eco friendly environment

Our driver, Samir, was the absolute best. He smiled and was friendly throughout the 3 days we had him. If you have a choice, do choose him. We had a different guide for each segment of the tour so to speak, and they were all knowledgeable and kind. The only downside we experienced, was the eco logde where we stayed, which was included in the tour, had no heat. We were there in January and it was cold. When we told our guides the following day how cold it was, they all seemed surprised that no heat was provided. Siwa is an eco community, so WiFi connection is sparse. Also, the picture of the salt water lake is not what it actually looks like. The lakes are excavated, however, it is as natural anyway. The salt water is real and you do float. I highly recommend this tour.

awesome adventure

so many good things about this tour. 1. the guides and drivers were great. very hospitable. enormous knowledge on siwa culture and history.2. The sahara desert was breathtaking and the salt lake was unbelievable. 3. sunset was amazing. i gave 4 stars because although the econolodge was beautiful and a rustic experience no heat was provided and it was very cold. the camp grounds accommodations were -also cold and uncomfortable to sleep on floor. pillows or cushion under sleeping bag would have made it more bearable.

Amn, my guide was so accomadating in every way possible and so entertaining to talk to. Every activity, accommodation, and tour blow me away. While camping we talked with locals and travlers playing local music by the fire after taking a dip in the natural hot spring. The sand safari we had such an adrenalin driven experience with with 4wding the dunes and sand boarding followed by watching the sunset together with a tea brew over the fire in the middle of the desert. The salt lakes itself was such an incredible thing to see and swiming in them was such a werid and relaxing feeling at the same time. In between my actives I got hear about Amn amazing stories of egpyt and his life, as well as history, among other things, was always entertaining to here. Meeting and learning about siwa from the locals gives you such a good perspective on life and kindness . The travellers and locals I met along the way were so friendly and happy. The jounery leaves you feeling happier and lighting. I'm very grateful for this experience!

Absolutely magical.

Had the most INCREDIBLE time in Siwa with Touritos - far exceeded all my hopes and was the most amazing trip!! We were so well taken care of, shout out to Hassan and also our driver Harun as well for taking such good care of us, and for making the trip so fun and special. Genuinely overflowing with happiness! My personal favourite was the first day, we went on a 4WD safari in the Great Sand Sea and I haven’t laughed so much in forever. We also went sandboarding, had a picnic on the sand dunes with hot Egyptian tea and sweet dates, watched the sun set, then enjoyed hot springs and laughed and talked around the campfire. Of course, the reason I had gone were for the salt pools which were stunning, and the Temple of Amun-Re which was also incredible (and our guide was so knowledgeable), but I think in the end it was the amazing people who truly made this trip magic 🩷 Thank you so much for such a beautiful experience!! I will cherish it forever.

Most unique VIP experience we would have dreamed of

This private three-day tour was by far above all of our expectations when booking at first place. Additionally to be filled with many extraordinary activities, it was most of all a real life and human experience. Aimn, our special guide/driver/photographer/ advisor/protector, etc was the most wonderful man we could meet here in Egypt. We felt safe at all time with him (like real VIP) and learned so much about the culture and life itself. He has so much to offer and has the most wonderful heart. We cannot wait and really hope to see him again soon! We can only recommend to take this tour, we ourselves are going to push all our families and friends to go to Egypt, just for this experience !!). Special mention to the safari in the desert which provided us some magical memories, having a nice cup of tea by the sunset in the middle of the dunes, after enjoying sand boarding, was something different!

Blasting through Siwa Oasis!

Amazing time. Ahmed showed us all the local ins and outs and was also an amazing photographer. We are not influencers, but Ahmed directed us to the best instagram-worthy poses. We won't share these photos on social media, but they will forever live with us.

First of all! this experience was out of this world! Aimn was always available for questions about local gems! Safety was number. #1 and Egypt is full of polite smiling faces! This country is so much more! I cannot wait to be back! See it to believe it! BOOK NOW!

Don’t miss it! 10/10

I am incredibly happy that we decided to do this tour. Even if our travel budget is actually not that big, this trip was worth every penny. We got picked up at 4.30 in Cairo (from our hostel) and drove all the way in a spacious, safe car, with a very friendly, funny driver to Siwa. Of course we were tired when we arrived but there was no time for rest: we directly started the desert jeep tour, pushing the adrenaline. At that point we met Aymen and Ahmed, our driver and guide for the desert. Both were outstanding in what they’re doing: Ahmed, the ‘baba’ of all jeep drivers in Siwa, a lovely man with such a good heart; and Aymen, always in between joking and spreading good vibes and sharing deep thoughts and histories. We took photos, drove around like in a rollercoaster (but better), did sandboarding and attended a beautiful sunset with some tea and snacks. After, they brought us to the camp (which is not completely in the off; you do have electricity, running water and so on), where we enjoyed the hot spring. Surprisingly we were the only ones at the camp (it had rained on the way to Siwa, maybe that’s why). Then, the hosts and Ahmed prepared a big dinner for us. After that we had a good talk with Aymen before they left us. We ended the day lying under the stars of Egypt. (Actually we ended in the tent and it was reaaally cold (though we had warm sheets), so be prepared!) The next day we had breakfast and got picked up at 9 by Samir, our driver, to have a little tour around Siwa itself with several stops. This time we had a different guide, and he was nice too, as he knew a lot about the history of Siwa. We also went to the salt lake, which was very impressive, too. And cold. But great. After our lunch, we had some rest at the new accommodation (ghaliet lodge, no wifi, but not a big problem when you have internet, which we did) and then went to see the sunset at Fatma island (I think that was the name). There we got a drink and enjoyed. Finally, we went to the Siwa museum, as our guide is the voluntary manager there. That was interesting to see. And then we had a tasty dinner (we could choose in advance what we want) in a pretty restaurant, where we said goodbye to our guide. Samir took us to some shops before heading to lodge again. He and other drivers even invited us to have some tea with them - they are so nice people! The next day we got picked up at 6am, to be sure that we’re back in Cairo for our flight at 10pm. All in all: amazing people, a wonderful escape from the crowded city and an impressive desert experience. 10/10

Best place in Egypt!

Literally the best tour I’ve ever done! It started with the journey from Cairo to Siwa (which is a 9 hours drive), where our driver Samir treated us like kings. Whenever we needed something, he was with us and even though he doesn’t speak proper English, we communicated by gestures, Arabic and English key words and most important: by laughing! Arriving in Siwa Ahmed (the driver) and Aymen (the guide) assured our once-in-a-lifetime-experience! Ahmed has 22 years of experience in driving in the desert and it’s a lot of fun to take the dunes the dumbest way possible, while listening to Spanish music and clapping to the beat (Ahmed wears a traditional costume, but it turned out that he is a very modern, open-minded guy). Aymen told us a lot about the culture in the desert and in Siwa and tried his best to get incredible fotos of us!! The lodges are also very nice, as it seems like a very authentic upbringing, with hot springs, clear skies with a lot of stars and welcoming owners. The only negative point: During winter it’s quit cold in Siwa and there’s no option to get rid of the cold, as the rooms are very cold and the first night is spent in a tend which is very cold as well. So make sure you bring yourself enough warm clothes!! Please believe me, doing the 9h ride is worth it! Siwa is such a magical place with a very traditional way of living. It’s completely different to the rest of the country. If you book this tour, make sure to do it with Aymen, Ahmed and Samir!

A must do in EGYPT!

This is one of the best places in all of Egypt to visit in my opinion, the scenery and activities were some of the best I have ever done! My favorite part was going on the safari tour of the sand dunes. The trucks are all Toyota 4 Runners and they go pretty fast over the dunes, it was amazing! The camping was also great, I thought it would be in the middle of the desert but it was pretty close to the city and not in the sand dunes. A man named Aimn runs the place, he was very helpful, fun to be around and knew pretty good English. I was doing this trip solo but never felt lonely or left out. The people I met were amazing and it was such a great experience! The hotel we stayed at was newly built and had a nice pool and full sized queen bed. They served breakfast there that was pretty filling. The meals are included but any drinks like water, tea or anything else is not included, Except at the camp site. You will usually get water with your hotel room 1-2 bottles anything else cost money. The tour of the Siwa springs was also amazing! The tour guide spoke very good English and was the volunteer manager of the Siwa Museum. The driver to and from Cairo was very nice, but didn’t speak much English. Every guide and staff member was very friendly, respectful and catered to our needs very well. Siwa felt very safe, no crime or issues at all. Completely safe during the day and night. The people in siwa don’t harass you to buy things at all compared to Cairo and other parts of the country. It was such a relief to just walk peacefully and not be bothered. I really wish there was more time to hangout at the places we visited, it would be nice to have stayed for an extra day, I felt extremely rushed through the day as we moved to different locations. There wasn’t much time to do much other things than the scheduled itinerary (shopping, food shops…. etc) Also on the return trip to Cairo you do not stop for food other than poor gas station food. You wake up at 6am, eat breakfast and shortly after leave around 7:30am to Cairo and you are not expected to eat for the whole 9 hour trip back to Cairo which is not okay. This hopefully will change, or at least they should bring you a lunch to go. All in all this is by far a must do and I would do it all over again!

AMAZING Siwa!

The experience began with an early wake. When Aimn came to pick us up on time and made us feel comfortable since the very first minutes. We pick up some snacks, breakfast and start our trip to Siwa. Aimn drove very well and on a safe way, he gave us some privacy at the begging to rest & sleep a little. After a few hours we started knowing each other and building a friendship. Before arriving to Siwa he explained us the culture, some about their traditions and what made this area so special to him! His passion made us felt welcome and safe in such a great place. We started the activities with the Safari experience that was AWESOME! We really enjoy that it wasn’t a short activity. The experience started with a long ride and some stops to discover the oasis, dunes, do sand boarding, take great photos of the sunset to finish up with tea and snacks under a beautiful sunset. We also enjoyed the company of another group of young people as us. The camping experience was great!, we were afraid about cold weather but the place had everything we need. Food was really good using a traditional cooking method of Siwan culture. The best is the hot spring that you can enjoy all night at the camping. The second day was nice because we discover more about the culture and history of the place together our guide. He explained us everything clearly and answered all our questions. We continue our experience with a swim on the salt lakes, that were beautiful! The water was clean and clear, and there’s a shower to clean you up, if needed. We got lunch in front of Cleopatra’s Oasis, the food was amazing! After a little shopping in town, we watched the sunset on the lake in a magical place, enjoying some tea. The diner place was really beautiful. Our day finished up in a wonderful surprise going into an AMAZING hotel with a special room and more hot springs to enjoy! The place was MAGICAL! We came back to Cairo at the thrid day! And also this time Aimn made us feel comfortable. We stop whenever we needed for wc, coffee or other. We enjoyed talking and some music. He really is an amazing, passionate and interesting person. We will miss him and we highly recommend him on your trip! Siwa and this tour became the best experience of our Egypt travel!

Nice People, Nice Place, Nice Trip

Our trip to Siwa was one of the most beloved experiences we had during our time in Egypt. Starting with our driver Mohamad, who is the best driver in Egypt and made the long way to the oasis and back quite tolerable, as well as all our transportations throughout the trip. Continuing with our guide Hassan, who always fulfilled our needs and helped us with the various excursions of the place. And finishing with the various specialized guides we had, explaining everything about the story of the oasis, the lives of the people, etc. The 4x4 drive in the sand-dunes was definitely the highlight, but also the hot bath in the camp was quite relaxing (however we had to share the relatively small pool with the other guests of the camp). Tents and sleeping bags were good and we didn't feel cold despite the weather. Sadly, the weather was not in our favor in the second day as well (quite windy and cold), so we could not do the salt lake bath but anyhow the "lakes" and the landscape was not very welcoming. We got a lot of Siwan salt for cooking though! The rest of the second's day program was followed successfully. The meals in general were OK, some very good (like the Egyptian pies or the chicken with olives), some less (Egyptian breakfast is somewhat poor compared to what some Europeans are used to have). The team however was always offering snacks so we did not feel hungy anytime! Overall, we left with quite positive feelings of the trip but just be aware that the drive is long (and felt longer in the return since we did not have proper lunch anywhere) --BE PREPARED!

Beautiful and fun way to start the year

It was a great trip! Best way to start the new year. I was alone with Ayman -out guide. He was fantastic. The place was stunning. I wish I could have stayed longer to walk in all the dunes. and the sandboarding was a lot of fun. Thank you I loved

Oasis of Jupiter - Amun (Siwa) experience

A memorable experience in one of the most magical places on earth. First night at the desert camp ... could use some more fat or an maybe a yoga mat ( 🤣) and following night at the eco camp. The experience was already amazing but was made "perfecter" by the very accommodating, patient and helpful Aimn (Guide), Abu Bak (Guidel and Imam (private driver). Traveling with a 7 and a 10 year is not easy. They made it easy and we thank you for that.

Great Trip!!!

I cannot express how grateful I am to have experienced such a wonderful excursion. From the very beginning when our friend Eit picked us up to the minute he dropped us back we felt safe. Ahmed our tour guide was very knowledgable and such a great tour guide! We had our 9 year old son with us and he will never forget this 3 day trip and still talks about it! Ahmed and our driver Eit catered to all our needs stopped as we needed and made it soo much fun! If there’s anything you dont want to miss out is doing this! I can never thank them enough for their hospitality. On the last night it was my birthday and they even surprised me with local gifts and a birthday cake. I will always remember this birthday because they made it so special. The whole touritos group is amazing. 10/10 experience!

Great 3 days, with great people.

Hassan did an amazing job of taking care of me during my time in Siwa. He was fun and had such a great passion for Egypt. I honestly don't think the trip would have been the same and have a friend for life. Mohamad was brilliant. being my driver for a few days, taking me from Cairo to Siwa and back, and helping transport me around the Oasis. He was great company and made the long drives so much more easier, as we chatted and listened to music the whole way. The 3 days was really well organised and a really nice way to explore Siwa. The car used for the drive was a modern and well-maintained 4x4, which allowed for a relaxing journey.

It’s one of the best division I’ve made for traveling.

I choose the three day tour “Cairo to Siwa” and it was literally the highlight of my travel in Egypt. We were riding a dune buggy in Sahara desert, swimming(don’t swim just buoy) in the salt lakes and visiting the local historical places. Furthermore, the tour guide/driver Aimn took care of us very well, I didn’t have to worry about anything but just enjoying my time in Siwa. It’s one of the best division I’ve made for traveling.

Excellent service, underwhelming salt lakes

Honestly the best part of the trip is probably the desert surfing, the salt lakes were quite disappointment cuz it looked nothing like the images you see advertised online, there a digging vehicles everywhere mining the salt and it honestly feel quite underwhelming. Nevertheless our guide Mounir and the driver tried their best to find a good spot for us to take some nice pictures. Throughout the tour they are super attentive to our needs as well and their service is definitely 10/10. We stayed at the lodge on the first night and packed a smaller bag for our second night stay in the tent. (the larger suitcases were stored at the lodge). The company is also very accommodating and arranged alternative transport for our early flight from Cairo. Would recommend visitors to go into the tour with adjusted expectations of the salt lakes.

Amazing experience!

I’m glad that I have visited Siwa. Our tour guide Hassan is very friendly and fun. The local tour guide is knowledgeable. The place we stayed is comfortable and beautiful. Desert tour and salt lake is amazing and people are nice. Also our driver is very nice and drive safely. I wish I could have spent more time in Siwa.

Best experience ever

This was our first visit in our travel and what a experience! We met Hassan and Mohamed who made the trip to Siwa incredible from minute 1. They are always with a smile and always make you feel 100% comfortable. The landscape, the history, the adventures and the accommodations are incredible, but what marked our trip was meeting Hassan, our guide and Mohamed, our driver. They do their best to keep us always with a smile. We are very grateful and will remember this experience for ever. Thank you so much!

THE MOST INCREDIBLE TOUR!!!!!

I had the most amazing tour of my entire life with Aimn in Siwa. This tour was the perfect way to not only explore the salt lakes, but also the history of the Siwan culture and historical landmarks but also many fun activities like the desert atv ride and sand board along the way . Mr abobkr is an absolute wealth of knowledge and provided so much detailed information as we visited the historical sites and monuments. I am so glad I did this tour. The pictures are incredible but the memories will last forever. I will definitely be coming back and bringing friends and family just so they can experience the tour and Aimn’s one of kind hospitality. The best tour guide ever, as a solo traveller I was nervous at first but Aimn made me feel safe and comfortable and was also so attentive and went above and beyond to ensure I was amazing at all times, it’s as if I was travelling with a great friend.
