Alexandria Day Tour. Do it!

We had a great day exploring Alexandria and saw a huge amount considering it was a one day tour. If we wanted to stay longer somewhere, they were flexible with the change. Communication with the tour company was good before meeting, so I was confident for the day.

Best Alexandria Trip

Ehab & Hussinr we're the best tour guide and driver we could've asked for. They were attentive to our needs, patient, and very knowledgeable in all things Alexandria and Egypt history in general. Ehab even accommodated taking us to St Marks Church, which was not on the itinerary! If you are looking for a guide to visit Alexandria, this is the ONLY way to go.

What can I say once again Hesham and his crew come through again. Eslam and Ehab accompanied us throughout the journey. Ehab is quick and concise explaining everything and always makes sure we enjoy our time. Eslam is a master driver in the hectic Egyptian streets 10/10 recommend them for any tour.

Amazing Alexandria tour

Great experience in Alexandria. I was driven from Cairo to Alexandria where I was taken to the most amazing spots in town. Rania, my tour guide was very knowledgeable, answered my questions and was most helpful because she obliged me by helping me buy a luggage for all of the amazing stuff I’ve bought in Egypt. Fantastic trip with fantastic people

Fantastic trip, with fantastic people! Our driver Adham got us there, around Alexandria, and back to Cairo comfortably and stress free with exceptional service! Our guide Ehab was very knowledgable and personable! As one gentleman at Ft Qaitbey said, "you have the best tour guide in Egypt!" - I agree! Communciation before and after was also top knotch! Alexandria from Cairo

I saw all the highlights Alexandria had to offer. It was quite busy because Ramadan had just finished - also the library was closed. However, my guide was great and the catacombs were particularly fascinating.

Day at Alexandria

We enjoyed our day which started with a car ride from Cairo to Alexandria. Our driver Tamer was a safe and courteous driver, and was happy to answer many questions we had about Egypt. Our guide Shaima was very knowledgeable and kind, taking us through the various sites in Alexandria. We were very pleased with our experience, and highly recommend this tour.

Amazing Trip to Alexandria

We had a great day trip to Alexandria from Cairo. Hesham booked the trip for us over phone and arranged everything for us on short notice. Ahmed was our guide, he was very knowledgeable and helped us understand the history and also answered all our questions. We covered all the major attractions including Catacombs, Citadel, Roman Theatre, Pompey's Pillar, and the library. We had kids and elderly parents in our group, and both the driver and the guide accommodated well for our requests to make quick stops along the long drive (~3hrs each way). It was our first day in Egypt after arriving from the US and the guide and driver personalized the itinerary to suit our needs as we were slow and jetlagged :) Ahmed also took few good pictures of us and stopped us a cute little tiny restaurant that had the best falafel pitas. The driver picked us up promptly in the morning, the drive was very smooth, the van had good AC and was very comfortable for our group. We highly recommend Hesham Tours. They made our first-ever day in Egypt memorable.

Day trip to Alexandria

Smooth drive and great guide. We went all over Egypt and that was definitely one of the highlights, Alexandria is nice, but the driver and the guide was even nicer.

Alexandria is a must see

We had a great day visiting the beautiful Alexandria with our guide Ehab and driver Tamer. They both are very personable and friendly - eager to make the experience exactly what we wanted. Ehab knows so much Egyptian history and shared many details with us. He also knows the best spots for photos and made sure we got them all. Tamer navigated the heavy traffic like a pro and we felt safe for the entire long drive. Thank you to them both for a lovely day!

Our tour with Yassir was spectacular. The drive to Alexandria was entertaining and informational. Be prepared to learn a lot. We really enjoyed the library and our lunch and the catacombs were really cool. All around a perfect day dull of memories with a wonderful guide snd driver

Alexandria is worth the visit!

Our day trip from Cairo to Alexandria was amazing. Driving in Egypt is not for faint of heart fortunately our Driver Tamar drives like a pro! He knew had to navigate through both cities and in between. He communicated with us every step of the way and has us to each point of the journey safely and on time. Our guide Raina was so sweet and super knowledgeable. She sets us up for the perfect amount of time and detail for each of the incredible stops along the way! Those 2 mad my birthday visit even more memorable, Alexandria is definitely worth checking out, gives you a different vibe and feel to Egypt.

A whole day filled with so much to see!

My boyfriend and I had a great time after booking this tour with Mohamed and Eslam! Mohamed knew so much as our tour guide and answered all our questions, and was very personable and fun to talk to! Eslam was our driver and got us to our locations smoothly, almost like a pro with all that crazy traffic! Definitely helped make it a comfortable ride, even though it was 2hrs there and back. Compared to other similar tours, I love how this was jam packed with places to see, yet never felt rushed in any of the locations! Highly recommend these guys and this tour!

Visiting Alexandria

Great city & sites! We stayed in Cairo so it’s about a 3 hour drive from Cairo to Alexandria & back. It was over the weekend (holiday) so the sites were a bit crowded & a little harder to absorb the beauty, nevertheless a great place to see. Yessir was our guide & did great. He took us to try sugar cane juice & falafels, super tasty.

Ehab was our tour guide. We had him previously on another tour, to the Pyramids. We enjoyed so much, so we booked this tour with Ehab to Alexandria. We enjoyed every single moment. Amazing trip with our tour guy hamdy, we did lot things in only one day , alexandria library, alexandria light house , pompey pillar and Kom al-shokafa. I recommend this trip with hamdy.

Great day in Alexandria

Another great tour while in Egypt. This time our tour guide was Ehab and our driver was Medhat. Ehab arrived on time for our tour since we had to travel over two hours to get to Alexandria. The ride was smooth once we left all the congestion of the city. Ehab was really nice and very knowledgeable about the area. So happy with our tour experience and all the places we got to visit.

Alexandria in a Day!

Ahmed Osama, our guide, is very knowledgeable about ancient Egyptian history, historical landmarks and is eager to share these details in a pleasant and conversational manner. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Alexandria with him. We were a bit short on time and Ahmed Osama and our driver Ahmed made it very easy and efficient for us to see the city still. I would highly recommend this guided tour. Great job coordinating this and for assembling an excellent team, Hashem!

Great day trip to Alexandria. Highly recommended!

We had a great day with our guide Ahmed. During the car ride, he gave us an introduction to egyptian history and handed us a printed guide of all what he explained to us (very nice touch). Then, we visited all the important places of Alexandria. He also waited for us every time we wanted to spend some more time taking pictures and took some nice shoots of us along the way. Finally, he gave us some options to have lunch and we had a lovely meal by the sea side. Highly recommended!!!.

Alexandria day Tour

Alexandria has much to offer from historical library to 1 of the most famous mosque in Egypt. There is plenty of room for shopping—swimming and when you’re done there are many eateries to visit; from authentic Egyptian food to any internal foods to fit your taste. Ahmed Elamer was great and knowledgeable in all aspects to fit your tour needs—Great Guide—friendly and personable.

City tour of Alexandria

Great food at chicken tikka restaurant. We explored multiple places in half a day visiting from Cairo. We went to the fort, library, Pompeian pillar, tomb, etc. Mina shared the history behind each monument and drive us back and forth from Cairo. The city isnt as awesome as Cairo but is a must see nonetheless. Great experience and Mina helped plan the schedule very well.

Great trip with only one flaw

Our guide Ehab was great the trip was fun. He was knowledgeable and we enjoyed our time with him. The only negative was the lunch. If you choose the waterside restaurant you get what they give you. The server we had let us sit for 15 minutes without even taking our drink order. The fish was whole and where I come from we call it mullett. Some people like it but to not have a choice of what you are going to eat for $30 US did not please me or my wife. Where we come from for $30 we get grouper or snapper fillets. All together with exception of lunch it was good.

Great experience

Our egyptologist was ehab and our driver was mustafa. Ehab explained us everything in detail. A very knowledgable , hard working and humble person. In alexandria and on the way he showed us all the important things with good explanation. Both of them made our trip an enjoyable and a memorable one.

Best Day Trip To Alexandria

I ended up being the only one for the day doing this tour and the guide Emad and the driver Mohamed were absolutely amazing. The tour itself has a good selection of activities from the catacombs to the citadel. Alexandria is less hectic than Cairo and Emad was very knowledgeable and approachable to all questions and queries. Would definitely recommend both the guide and driver again and the tour to Alex for the day.

Pleasant Trip

The trip was surprisingly enjoyable. The transportation was on time and very pleasant company, thanks Assem. The guide was very knowledgeable and provided great contextualisation of the subject matter. Definitely an eye opener into the history of Alexandria. I am glad to have the guide as most of the history is not apparent.
