Was a lot of fun to see the different vendors and learn more about the local products. It’s a great introduction to middle eastern culture for those who may not know much about it too. Mohammed was a delightful guide! Very informative and personable. The “factories” we saw were so interesting - papyrus making; rug making by hand, cartouche making, and essential oils. Our driver, Hassan, was amazing driving us through chaotic traffic!!

Our Guide Mohamed took us to some fabulous places to shop. Our driver Ahmed got us there safely. I loved this private shopping tour. Because we got some fabulous unique items. Yasser is an excellent guide! Yasser is fun, funny and helped us with Arabic translations to ensure we were getting the best deals and also helped us feel safe the entire time. Him and his driver picked us up from our hotel, and took us to legitimate, top-notch quality shops with friendly shop owners. The hosts of the shops were so friendly and welcoming, and we got a free coffee, hibiscus juice or tea with each stop. We not only bought a lot of great goodies, but also learned a ton about the processes. We went to papyrus, Egyptian cotton, jewelry and perfume shops, topped off with an incredible traditional Egyptian lunch that was included with our tour price. 5++ stars - I highly recommend booking!

Amazing Time!

The shopping tour is great and you can tell what you’re getting is authentic. Bring lots of cash so that you can get all that you desire and they always accept cards. Don’t be afraid to bargain, some owners/employees are willing to work with you and your budget. I’m truly in awe at the talent we saw. You can even tell the host something you were looking to purchase and they will try to bring you to a shop. All in all an amazing time and met the coolest/most talented people ever. Be sure to bring a portable charger or something with you as well.

We had a great day with our tourguide Yassir. We got to see and learn about essential oils, Egyptian cotton and carpets manufacturing and shop the handcrafted things right on the manufacturing site. Yassir was very accommodating being out tourguide, he was knowledgeable, informative and patient. We were left to shop at our own leisure and he even helped us with getting a good deal on souvenirs we wanted to buy for our relatives. Amazing tour with snefro!!!

I would definetely reccomend this tour and Snefro! Yasser was with us helping and explaining everything but also giving us the space to explore alone. I loved the visit at the carpets school its wonderful what they do! Also it was wow to see how they make papyrus at tue papyrous museum. We bought essential oils and a khayamiya. Amazing tour amazing people!!!

Helped me get bargains.

I had Yasser as a private guide to help with shopping around Giza, Memphis and Saqqara. We visited multiple shops who sold Egyptian cotton, perfume, carpet and also market stalls. I bought pure Frankincense from a well-known perfume store who were very accommodating while they explained their family history and floral extracting techniques. Yasser also worked his magic on a purchase for multiple gift items as the seller wouldn't move down on price, he got me a great deal. I appreciate Yasser for his shopping recommendations and help with better pricing.

We asked Yassar to take us to the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar. Of course he helped us in translation but to our surprise, he even helped us in price negotiation which was very important! Without him, we could have easily paid more than double of what we paid.
