Nile River Dinner Cruise in Cairo

Watch out for extra $$$ on wine order

We ordered a bottle of a wine with dinner. The price was about 30$ usd. The “Manager” Substituted a bowler. It $300 usd without asking or Telling us. When the bill came we complained and he did nothing. The belly dancer was verity good. The food was good. But this left a very bad taste in y mouth. I wish I had that “Manage’s” name - he should e fired.

Beware

Was charged $350 for dinner and cruise. Suppose to include good but pay for drinks yourself. Arrived to a boat billowing in cigarette smoke, told appetizers and salad were extra. The smoke was so bad had to leave before boat left the dock since wife is an asthmatic. No mention of smoking or if only partial food payment in Viator write up. If had known would not have booked, especially at that price. Have asked for a refund.

An amazing experience - the food, entertainment, service and outdoor ambience were absolutely worth it.

Nile dinner cruise .. never again !!

Food is cold and cheap. Reminds me of bad buffets in Vegas . Music not too bad . Traffic from our hotel like LA traffic on a lot of steroids. Would not recommend . Would rather go to mc donalds. Not handicapped accessible at all .

River Nile dinner cruise

Excellent entertainment. Service exceptional. Food good. Beautiful ship. Took pictures inside the dining area and outside as the ship flowed down the Nile.

Good Cruise

Would have been nicer if we could have taken pictures with the entertainers after the show. Food was okay. Liquor was expensive. More explanation should have been given on time of dinner, time of entertainment, where exactly were we cruising to.

Poor compared to price paid

The program was OK while the food was not tasty.I paid 150$ for what worth 50$ which is unacceptable

Great Nile Cruise

My family and I attended this cruise. The ship was really nice and the atmosphere was perfect. They also had great entertainment. The only need for improvement is the food. We selected the buffet, but a salad bar was the only real choice. The rest of the meal was pre-selected. The driver was on time to pick us up, the transportation was great. I felt bad for the poor tour guide. He is made to stay on the cruise the entire time, I guess in case we need anything. That might be a bit much, just felt bad for him. But I definitely recommend and would go again.

Left a Great Deal to be Desired

This entire experience left a great deal to be desired. From beginning to end, it was poor. Farid, our tour guide, met me and my friend at the hotel on time. The interaction began with casual conversation and pleasantries, but quickly ended when we told him we were not interested in another tour his company provided. The dinner cruise itself was mediocre. The performances did not seem authentic and left a lot to be desired; the drinks were overpriced. Additionally, all of the food was served before the actual cruise left the dock. Once the cruise ended, our tour guide took us back to our hotel in silence. I recommend if you are going to go on a dinner cruise to find one yourself and provide your own transportation through Uber, taxi, etc. Booking through an agency is not necessary especially one of this poor quality.

We book night Nile cruise with hotel concierge and i would recommend you to do so even though we pay a little extra. But we got a private car and a driver to get us there and pick us up on the end of the cruise. The dinner was OK, nothing special, drinks are not included. The belly dancer was ok but whirling dervish was amazing. How he can whirling and not get dizzy? It up to you to discover it.

<p>The food was not good and even though I specified that I am deathly allergic to nuts and peanuts when I booked this tour they brought it out with almonds not once, but twice after I pointed out the fact after the first time. The entertainment was like sitting at a bad Las Vegas show. The Tanourah dance was really the best. The belly dancing was OK. The Nile was OK but my hotel is downtown and it was no different than when I walked to the highway or bridge and looked at it from there. My tour guide then demanded more money for his tip because what I gave him initially he raised his voice and said this was nothing. So I went to my hotel room, came back to the care with more money and even then he appeared to not be satisfied even though. He didn't really show me anything. The driver picked me up and he stayed on the cruise - that was it. Very bizarre. Don't recommend.</p>

<p>In general its good, but not great, it should be better, when i was in the cruise, they put me in a table in the middle not directly beside the window even there were too many empty tables beside the window, and when i asked them, they told me that the tables beside the window are reserved, but when i reserve this trip via viator i did not now that we can reserve a specific table!! if i knew that, i would reserve a table on the window !!! is this the fault of viator or of the organizer or the cruise responsible ???</p>

<p>What a fun evening. The guide and driver were very friendly and careful with us. We took my friend's twelve-year-old son, and he had a blast. The food was really good, with enough choices to satisfy a child/picky eater. The dancing was spectacular, and the dancers were very friendly. We really enjoyed seeing Cairo at night from the river.</p>

<p>If you are first timer to Cairo this tour is a must. The tour leader picked me up at my hotel, delivered me to the ship and then was there to pick me up when I finished and brought me to my hotel. Soo easy.<br/> The dinner on the ship was delicious and the service was fantastic. <br/> The show was ok. Nothing too fabulous. The belly dancer was gorgeous. <p>This was nice to do in the evening to get out of the hotel.The dancers and band were very good and put on a great show. The food was just okay, as I expected. The real let down was the boat. Smoking was aloud and it seemed like we were the only ones not partaking. The outdoor balcony was VERY small and not that enjoyable for an escape. A larger boat with outdoor seating would have been nice so you can enjoy the views from the Nile. I would not recommend taking your children on this boat due to all of the smoke.</p>

Other entertainers were boring and cheap looking as well. The whole thing didn't have an authentic feel. Dinner was good but I would rather have ate somewhere else for the money we spent. The cruise doesn't even go past the pyramids. Don't pay the money for this. It's really corny.....</p>

<p>This is a great way to end the day. After lots of activity, there is something very relaxing about dressing up for a nice dinner, enjoying the sights of the city from the Nile River and watching excellent performers do what they do well. For the meal, the best part was the salad bar buffet. It featured a variety of things. Unfortunately, my bread didn't come early enough to properly enjoy the hummus and baba ganoush. The rest of the meal was well done, but nothing special. The performances had a nice flow from one act to the next, and all performers did a very good job. The 2.5 hours goes by very quickly. I had been a bit worried about being on a boat. But, the ride was VERY smooth--unless you watch the banks of the river, you wouldn't notice that the boat was moving at all.</p>

<p>My wife and I were picked up from our hotel and driven to the boat, ushered onto it and seated for the dinner show cruise. A couple of tips would be to ask for a seat at a table as close as possible to the dance floor, as it will give you the best view of the show you can always walk out to the balcony to get a better view of the city, and the other tip would be to give yourself plenty of time to get there as the traffic in the evening is at it's very worst.<br/> The meals was pretty good, with a large selection of sides, and the wine selection too.<br/> The show started with some Arabic music by the house band, then the amazing belly dancer came on and performed a great show. This was followed by the guy performing the Whirling Dervish dance. He was outstanding. Have you cameras charged and ready.<br/> Overall, it was a great night of food, wine and dancing. Recommended</p>

<p>First experience of Egypt with some traditional cuisines and traditional floorshows. Truly a wonderful experiences that we will always remember having dinner and cruising on the famous Nile River. The tour company looked after us very well especially on our first experience of Egypt and also our visits to the Egyptian Museum and other places. I will highly recommend this Tour Company to my friends and colleagues who are planning future trips to Egypt and I look forward to booking this company again for my future travel back to Egypt to complete my sightseeing of the other historical places in Egypt.</p>

<p>This is a fun way to start your trip, especially if you get into Cairo in the middle of the day and don't want to start a big adventure before resting up. The food is pretty good and the dancers are incredibly athletic and fun to watch. It would be a good idea to bring soft earplugs, though the music is very loud and in a confined space, and it starts to wear on you after awhile.</p>

<p>Wonderful tour - we covered an unbelievable amount of ground in a short time. Saw all the world class sights, great information from the friendly English speaking guides. A day I will truly remember forever.</p>

Drinks were expensive especially the alcoholic ones. The entertainment was good apart from the singer who we felt was uncomfortable being on stage. We were driven back to our hotel where the guide was expecting a tip. Seeing how we managed to spend almost 300 this evening we did tip him but he was not impressed witb the amount given.</p>
