Loved loved loved the tour

We had the most amazing time with our guide. She showed us everything wanted to see. But most of all our driver was extra special. We had had him on 3 tours where we joked & had so much fun. Highly recommend

Great tour with knowledgeable guide.

The pyramids were exquisite and we appreciated the historical background from Dina. our driver Mario was also calm, patient, and skilled.

One of the nicest guides in egypt

We had a lot of fun with the tour guide, he delivered a very informative tour of sakara, mephis and dahshur. The driver and him made a good team and everything went well. The punctuality was top, the wealth of information top and the fun factor too. Always happy to go back with these two. Best regards from Germany

Off the beaten path

Not too many visits these sites, I recommend because these are different than overhyped Giza. Memphis is a small but interesting site full of artifacts.

Excellent tour

Excellent tour given by Deina. Very friendly, relaxed and helpful in explaining the Memphis, Saqqara and Dahshur sites. A great day out.

Nice tour but the “lunch” broke the spirit

We booked a tour with car, driver, guide but no lunch. At 13:00 we finished the tour and were thinking about going back to hotel for lunch but the guide insist on making us visit a perfume shop. We then had to go to lunch with him and he brought us to a tourist trap restaurant (The valley of the King). Usually we eat for 150 egp/person but at that restaurant we ended up at 600 egp/person. And the perfume shop was totally uninteresting. I recommend people to stop the tour at the end of the visit of the pyramids

Great time at the pyramids

This tour was fantastic. It was great to see the pyramids up close and the Memphis museum was great. You MUST request Dina as your guide. She was great, very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions I might have.

Amazing experience!

Oh, I have to give a 5-star rating because I really enjoyed the Mario Guide tour. It was such a great experience! Our guide, Mario, was incredibly patient. He taught me about the history of Egypt, and when I didn't understand, he explained it again. That was so important to me because my English isn't very good. Plus, he was really friendly. I highly recommend taking a tour with him and never going without a guide. Oh, and I ran out of money, but he even loaned me some to pay for my souvenirs.

Tour to Memphis

While in Giza we booked a tour to Memphis and Dahshur. We feel very fortunate to have had Dina our tour guide for the day. She spoke very good English and was easy to understand all the while looking out for our safety. She was very knowledgeable about the sites. As we were driven to the sites by our impressive driver Marco, Dina was able to clarify questions from the tour we had the day before that was lead by a different guide. Dina was not only easy to talk to but her explanation made this great history come together for us and gave us a clearer understanding. I highly recommend this very intelligent and pleasant guide.

Great Day Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our day of sightseeing to Memphis, Saqqara & Dashur with Michael Farouk through Twitter Egypt Travels. Michael is an Egyptologist who is a wealth of knowledge about all things related to Egypt’s fascinating history. I highly recommend this tour.

Exceptionally knowledgeable tour guide

Professor Ahmed, our Egyptologist tour guide, was exceptionally knowledgeable about the details of the archeological sites we visited, also gave us a lot of historical context, and even could read hieroglyphics. In Saqqara, we especially liked the interiors of the pyramid of Unas and of the mastabas for Neferherenptah and Ty. Thank you to Caroline, another Egyptologist tour guide and a former student of Professor Ahmed, for getting Professor Ahmed involved! Our driver, also an Ahmed, was a very skilled driver and was as friendly as Caroline and Professor Ahmed. We especially enjoyed the meal at the end of the tour, where after much sightseeing everyone could relax and have a great time over delicious Egyptian food. The tour guides and driver had vouchers for the restaurant, so we only had to pay a reasonable amount for our two meals.

Awesome, Fascinating and Intriguing Experience w/Hoda Laila.

Hoda Laila was our tour expert guide for two full days. One day we went to see the pyramids and the next day we went to the museum. Hoda has a masters in Egyptology and her depth of knowledge is what made our experience so wonderful. She shared with us so many intricate details about Egypt's fascinating history. She was very patient and addressed all our questions and queries. There was a not a single query that she was not able to address. We have used many tour guides before, but Hoda is in a different league and I highly recommend her if you are planning to visit Egypt.

Giza or Dashur? Choose Dashur!

Dashur is AMAZING! Just as good as the great pyramid but less crowded, less vendors, less hassle! Ita almost as big, has more casing in tact, is older and yiu can go inside without an extra ticket. Our operator organized AWESOME guide and driver. Hany was more than a driver, he took care of security and made sure we saw as much as possible while enroute to our destination. Our guide, George, was a legend. He knew so much about Cairo and ancient Egypt. He was informative, kind and really funny. He loves his job and it shows! Both Dashur and Sakkara are must see locations. Memphis was cool too but you could skip it if short on time.

Great tour to the outskirts

Very interesting visit and our Guide, Nour was very informative and wonderfully easy to travel with. She answered any questions we had and was always asking if we needed anything and sometimes knowing what we needed before asking. We felt very comfortable riding with her and her driver and so glad we booked the tour with her!

Great Experience

Spent a great day with Noru and Hany who was our driver. Noru was very knowledgeable about the areas and they were a delight to be with. Our day tour with them prior to joining our Viking Cruise is doing equal to or better than Viking. Highly recommend!!

Great!

We had a great time exploring sakkara, memphis and dashurt. Our tour guide is very knowledgeable and went over all the highlights at each part. Definitely recommend them for anyone visiting Cairo! Even when we are driving they are telling hs about what we are looking at and random facts.

You MUST See These!

I'm so glad Isaac at Twitter recommended this tour to us. Of course everyone knows about the Great Pyramids of Giza but these are the pre-requisite pyramids that those were build upon. You have to see these before going to Giza, it will make that experience so much better.

Amazing trip!

This is a must do one day trip , we had the most wonderful guide, he was very friendly and accommodating , we loved the interesting stories of history he shared with us in perfect English,very professional and knowledgeable, We had so much fun, we would do it again with the same company as they were very organized and took great care of us and all the little details , Thank you !

Amazing tour with stunning history!

The tour was amazing! I loved the history and our guide Ayam was the best! Everything was arranged by her and we felt very very safe and very well taken care of. We were with our son of 3 years old and he enjoyed himself as well. He loved Ayam and she made sure he was well taken care of also! Twitter Egypt is an amazing company and the manager Isaac really took care of everything. We initially booked his Airport escort service but he provided us with so much more. We literally had everything taken care for us!

Very instructive

The steep descent into the pyramid in Dashfur....followed by a very good explanation of the statues in Memphis. End of the day in Sakarra just beautiful.
