Beyond our expectations! Our guide Raina introduced herself the previous evening and met us on time to start our adventure. The tour itself was well managed and tailored to our needs and flexibility. The camel ride is an experience not to be missed. We were glad that the camels provided were healthy and well looked after, we were in 2 minds Wether we should do the ride as we saw a few if the camels in an appalling condition. Lunch was great and plenty. The girls had a grand time at the bazaar... thanks to Raina and Yasin for being kind and for a great tour

We had a lovely time visiting Cairo's sites. The guide was knowledgeable and happy to discuss any matter. The lunch of grilled fish was particularly nice.

Demanded Extra Money for a Fully Paid Booking with No Explanation

I booked and fully paid for a Tree of Life Full-Day Giza Pyramids, Egyptian Museum and bazaar Private Tour. After I booked the tour, I changed my hotel to a hotel that was 300 meters from my old hotel (less than a four minute walk), so I sent a message to Tree of Life telling them that I changed my hotel and asking them to change my pick-up point. Tree of Life wrote back and told me that there would be a $25 surcharge. I wrote back and asked what the $25 surcharge was for since the hotels were next to each other, but said that I would walk over to my "old" hotel and be picked up there if that was why they were giving me a surcharge (both hotels were airport hotels that were on their "pick-up available drop down menu). Again, I asked what the surcharge was for. Two days after I asked what the surcharge was for, they responded with the message "what do you mean trying to charge you? this is not acceptable," and they CANCELLED my booking. Given that they 1) tried to charge me an extra $25 for something that I'd already paid for, then 2) refused to answer my question about what the extra charge was for, then 3) denied the extra charge even though the demand for extra money was in our string of messages, then 4) cancelled my tour, I cannot recommend this provider. They appear to be dishonest.

A must do

Shemaa was a fantastic tour guide, extremely knowledgable and accommodating. The tour was packed with activities, a memorable adventure.

Sites, history and culture were all so great.

My friend and I had such an amazing time on our journey through Egypt. Our tour guide Fatima had such an insane amount of knowledge, she was so friendly and helpful with anything we wanted. Our driver Mustafa was incredibly prompt and we never had to wait for anything. We were able to get to sites without having to wait through crowds. Fatima took us to amazing food and was so helpful to get us around and find things without them. Any security or providing tickets was explained well so we would feel really comfortable. The pyramids were so cool, all the history of Egypt was so interesting to learn about. We saw so many amazing things and I’m really happy we came here :)

Great experience in Cairo

We were in a group of 7 friends and Memo (guide) and Hany (driver) were very kind, patient and professional during our day in Cairo. Memo is very knowledgeable in Egyptology and Hany is a great driver. They are both great people who made us feel welcome! The lunch was delicious too!

Just magnificent

This was a incredible tour with our great guide Mina Wasfy. He explained everything clear and it was a pleasure to be on a tour with such a capable guide. I truly enjoyed my time traveling to through Cario and Giza. I highly recommend taking this trip. Lunch was included and Mina took us to an incredible restaurant. Go with Mina to experience truly incredible trip.

Beyond our expectations with Zenab

Our tour with Zenab went beyond what we expected. She was very well informed and did her utmost to ensure we would see the Pyramids before the rain. Everything went as planned and our driver was very professional despite the flooded roads. All of our tours in the future will be with this company if their people are on the same level as Zenab. Excellent tour

Couldn't ask for a better situation. Driver and guide where both excellent. Easy to understand and full of interesting knowledge. Guide also helped us understand how to navigate the area. A must if first time to the area. I highly recommend Ashraf and Yasser

Very nice

Today we had a tour to the pyramids /sphinx/egyptian museum for a family group of five adults and one toddler. Our driver was always prompt, polite, and the vehicle was very clean. Our guide Mohamed "gouda" was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. He brought my toddler treats and helped my grandmother navigate difficult areas to walk. We were very happy with our trip and would recommend this company to others.

Thank you Gouda for a great time, you really made sure we were doing exactly what we wanted and were having the best time! We saw pyramids, museum, market, had lunch, went to the jewelry shop and the papyrus place (highly recommend). Gouda even walked with us out to the desert when we panicked on the camels! Perfect layover tour

Gouda was an excellent guide for us during a long layover. Communication was excellent before, during, and after the tour. The pickup and drop off at our airport hotel was seamless. His stories of ancient Egypt were fascinating and kept us enthralled even though we had very little sleep after getting off a long haul flight. He seemed to know everyone and we never had to wait to get in anywhere, skipping the long lines which was invaluable. Thank you Gouda and Mustafa for such a wonderful Cairo experience!

Nice guided Cairo tour

Our guide Zenab and driver Hussaim were punctual and friendly. They were there at the airport to receive us. We were a family of 5 on a layover tour of Cairo. Our day began with the tour of Giza Complex. Zenab was an excellent tour guide. She has a stock of knowledge regarding the history of Egypt. She was quick in answering our questions. The camel ride was very much enjoyed by the boys. We, then departed the site for lunch at a restaurant, where we enjoyed the authentic Egyptian lunch. The restaurant staff were courteous and friendly. We also visited Cairo Museum and ended our day with a visit to Al Khalili Bazar. Every one enjoyed this short Cairo trip. Thanks Zenab and Hussaim for making our stay in Cairo a memorable one.

Expectations exceeded!!!

Shahenda totally exceeded my expectations for this Tour - I can't recommend highly enough. I got a reminder note through the day before and a WhatsApp providing contact details and exact pick up point. Day itself started promptly with a dedicated driver in addition to Shahenda, who herself was excellent: personable, open and really knowledgeable. Tour got me to all the things that I wanted to see and I can't wait to get back to Egypt to see more! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I did 2 tours with them both were amazing. We received lots of interesting information and the guides made sure that the tours are tailored to our needs. Personable and punctual

Manar A and the wonderful man who drove us were exceptionally great. They were most of all very personable and friendly. They had superior knowledge of all topics we discussed and Manar’s English was great. They were punctual and provided us options though out the day to fit our day and experience. We had a great day with the team which enhanced our over all vacation to Cairo from the USA.

2 day private guided tour

We really enjoyed our 2 day visit. A lot of historic monuments. Very interesting. Fatima did a great job showing us different places.

Excellent experience

After being hesitant going to Cairo due to negative social media posts. After consideration we decided to go ahead and book a tour with Tree of Life tours. We were enthusiastically met by Lima at the airport. We went to the museum and Lima had great insight into the exhibitions. We felt safe at all times and he gave us options in regards to how we wanted to do it. We also went to the pyramids and felt safe and secure at all times. Big thanx to Lima and his driver for looking after us and building a good friendship! Thank you for answering all our questions and opening our eyes how lovely Cairo is. Highly recommended

Layover tour highly recommended!

We purposefully booked a long layover in Cairo to squeeze in a day tour to the pyramids and the Egyptian museum. Mina was assigned to us on the day and it was an absolute pleasure from the start! Mina has approx 15 years tour guide experience and it shows: he was incredibly knowledgeable about Egyptian history, had a great command of the English language and a absolute pleasure to be around. Mina was very accomodating in terms of our needs (we opted to skip the market visit and camel ride) and made great suggestions about purchases throughout the day and scams to he aware of. He was genuine and made great effort to give us only the best experience. Mina is also a great photographer. Mina was accompanied by Mido, who navagited us through some pretty chaotic Cairo traffic. They were a great team. I can highly recommend the company (and in particular, Mina)!

Couldn’t have asked for a better tour of Cairo/Giza

My husband and I did a private tour. I highly recommend private, it is worth the price. The pyramids, the camel ride, and the Egyptian Museum were all great and something I have been always wanting to see. Fatma was our tour guide and she was excellent! I think I learned more from her than I did my history teacher in college. She spoke great English and was funny and great at taking pictures. She made us feel safe and gave us great advice with the hagglers on the street. I highly recommend this company and this tour and if you can get Fatma that will make things even better!

Amazing!

Fully recommended, one day with major attractions and easy to adapt. Great tour guide and driver always there to help you and teach you the Egypt culture. If you have limit time and you want to have a full experience in one day, this tour is for you!

Great Tour guide, driver, and experience

Basem and Ebrahim were great. They picked us up and the tour started right away with Baden’s excellent knowledge base and description of what the plan was for the day. I would book them again.

Perfect 1st day exploring Cairo/Giza!

My friends and I had Ashraf as our guide and we couldn’t have asked for anyone more kind, funny and knowledgeable. We took a lot of what he taught us that first day in Cairo throughout our trip and quickly realized he was the best guide of our entire week in Egypt- it would’ve been great to have him for the whole week in Aswān and Luxor! The tour itself was great - we started at the great pyramids and Sphinx, visited a papyrus shop and the Egyptian museum, had the best falafel of our lives, and ended at the bazaar. Probably the best day of our week - thanks Ashraf!!! :-)

Friendly guide

I was satisfied with this tour. My tour guide was Ashraf. Since he has more than 20 years experience, he has plentiful knowledge about the history of pyramids and the collections of the Cairo Museum. I learned a lot from his explanations. I personally think that a guide of a private tour should be not only a teacher of the culture but also a nice photographer. If Ashraf improves his photo techniques, he would be an even nicer guide. Having said that, he is very friendly and paid attention to my requests. He is a very nice guy and made me enjoy myself a lot.

Fantastic day

Booked our tour through Viator and in our opinion got Ashraf, the best Egyptologist and the best driver, Salah. We met at the hotel, given a brief of what our day would consist of (we didn’t want to do the bazaar so had more time in the museum) then off we went to the pyramids before it got too hot and busy, Ashraf sorted the tickets and entry was very fast, no queues. His knowledge was immense and his sense of humour was good! He didn’t pressure us for time, leaving us stay as long as we needed to take photos. We saw all 3 pyramids and then up close to the Sphinx, again lots of time for photos. Then on to where papyrus is made...didn’t want to stay too long there-very interesting tho the way it’s made, well worth a visit. Lunch then on the Nile-we were given a choice of places but how could we not chose a restaurant on the Nile? The food was nice at the Andrea restaurant. On to the Egyptian museum...Ashraf was excellent, explaining about the artifacts and answering our many questions. Again time was given for us to browse at our leisure. Over all a brilliant day, transported safely too and from and in between by the smiling Salah. I would highly recommend this tour and if you could request a guide and driver then it would be Ashraf and Salah.

Egypt is a place worth to visit... The warm hospitality of the people there are excellent.... Egypt will be a place I won't forget because of its remarkable tourist spots and historic places... I am really amazed! --Giza pyramids,we cant complete our tour in Egypt w/o visiting here, & 1 of the most famous tourist spot in the world! --Egyptian Museum i visited the incredible museum ever!

Excellent Experience

Our guide, Gouda (his nickname ) was completely professional and knowledgeable about the Pyramids and Sphinx visit. He arranged our camel rides at the pyramids so that we would not be taken advantage. He took all the pictures we asked him to take. Our next stop was lunch at a local restaurant where we enjoyed a tasty lunch of mixed grill items. After lunch we went to the Antiquities Museum. Gouda’s knowledge the contents was impressive. With over 34,000 pieces, Gouda took us to the most important galleries to explain the importance of what we were about to view. After seeing over a dozen mummies and King Tuts tomb and treasures. We ended with a visit to three stores that sold jewelry, papyrus based art, and oil based scents. Our driver was also excellent. A big shout-out to our Guide Gouda was with us the whole step of the way. Highly recommend our Guide and this full day tour. Thank you!

Exceptional tour with Tree of life and guide Rasha

It was a wonderful time that we spent with Rasha. We got an amazing day with her.A nice touch from her , she bought us cold water during the day and stopped to bring me a medicine from a pharmacy. We started the day by 8 am and we headed to the pyramids where we got tons of information about Egypt's history then we had a chance to take our lunch in a nice local restaurant where food was fresh and delicious .Next visit was to the museum where our informative guide showed us all highlights of the place .we were so happy to see king Tut collection. 8 hour Private Tour

My friend and I recently took trip to Cairo, and booked an 8 hours private tour of the Pyramids, Sphinx, Egyptian museum, and Khan Al-Khalili. It was an excellent tour! We had the pleasure of having Ashraf as our tour guide for the day. He was very knowledgeable and very kind! This tour is definitely a great way to see the major highlights of the city.

Private Tour

My family and I had Manar as a guide and we were impressed and extremely happy with our experiences! Manar spoke very clear English, was on time and actually went above and beyond what was excepted from her—we had accidentally left a book bag behind at a restaurant across from the Sphinx (our error!) and we didn’t notice it until 45 mins later. Manar immediately acted and contacted the restaurant, verified they had it and then took my husband back to retrieve it. We felt very safe being in Manar’s company and left cameras and materials in her possession while we toured inside the Pyramid. She also took lots and lots of family pictures for us!! Her background studies clearly show that she is very knowledgeable about Egypt’s history. Any questions we asked were answered. She made sure to include our 11 year old son and kept his interest throughout the tour. I highly suggest and recommend Manar!!!!

Unforgettable trip

I would recommend to everyone Ashraf from Tree of life tours. He contacted me on the previous day to confirm that he will pick me up from the hotel at 8:00. He was on time and we went to a clean and air-conditioned car. Cold water was offered to me all the time. During the whole day he was telling me interesting facts about Egypt and the Egyptian history. Incredibly polite and friendly person, who helped me to have this incredible life experience. The pyramids exceeded my expectations as well. Thanks Ashraf for the great memories.

All day tour

Fantastic tour! Super amazed my it. Thanks to Rasha and her driver for the wonderful experience. Rasha arrived at our hotel and we were immediately relieved to know it was a private tour. Just myself and my partner. She also spoke Spanish which was extremely helpful. She definitely knows the history of the pyramids and the Sphinx. She also answered questions we had regarding the egyptian culture. We got to ride the camel around the pyramids and it was gorgeous. Lunch was covered by the tour and it was delicious! The entire experience overall was amazing. So lucky to have her as a tour, thanks again!

Ashraf was a wonderful guide! He was so knowledgeable and informative. We had the best experience with him. He made us feel very welcome and was very proud to show us his culture and country and all it has to offer. Great tour

Yasser and Yasser picked us up from our hotel at 7.30 to beat the heat. We headed directly to the Giza pyramids, and we took a short ride through the desert. Guide was nice to take pictures of us. After we went to the papyrus gallery to see a demonstration of how it's made. After a delicious lunch, Yasser allowed us to alter the schedule and go the Egyptian Museum, where he gave us a guided tour of the exhibits. Then we went to the great perfume gallery to sample fragrant oils. Yasser and Yasser were very punctual and flexible with us.

Giza/Cairo tour

Our guide, Yasser, was amazing. I would highly recommend him if you’re are able to request your guide. He was personable, full of positive energy, and very accommodating. We started off the tour at 7:30am (earlier start to combat the heat and get a head start on other tourists) and was picked up from our hotel. Yasser and the driver were prompt and were waiting for us outside our hotel. They bought us water and went straight to the Pyramids of Giza/Sphinx. Yasser explained the details and history on the way to the pyramids and while there. While there, we rode camels for about 15 minutes for a quick photo. Afterwards we headed to the papyrus museum, where we learned how papyrus was made and were able to purchase some pieces of artwork on papyrus. Then we had lunch. We were supposed to head to Saqqara after lunch but we were so tired from the heat (112°F — one of the hottest days in Egypt) and requested to visit the Egyptian Museum instead. Yasser was able accomodate us. He made a few phone calls and got us a scheduled tour to the museum! We ended the day at the perfume factory, where we were able to sample and purchase scents and oils. Throughout the whole tour, Yasser was great and made sure we were comfortable at all times. Just a couple of things while on tour in Cairo/Giza. Make sure you haggle, haggle, and haggle again!! We didn’t do that at the papyrus museum but after reading reviews, I realized we could have bargained the price listed. This is true for perfume factory as well! The restaurant they took us to was pretty pricey ($15 for each person, drinks not included). If you’re on a tight budget, maybe do some research beforehand of where you want to eat around the area and ask them to take you somewhere else. I’m sure the guides will honor your request. One controversial activity we did was the camel rides. I honestly wished I didn’t participate after reading reviews talking about the living conditions of the camels. After experiencing it first hand, I would have to agree that the camels do not look like they are in the best condition (comparing it to how the camels looked after coming from a trip in Jordan). If you’re not comfortable, just tell your guide to skip the camel rides and just take the pictures, minus the camels. The view is just as good! You’ll also save yourself from getting bitten from hundreds of bugs.

Pyramids and Egyptian Museum

Yasser and Ibrahim picked me up from my hotel at 8am, bought me water and juice on the way and took me first to the front of the pyramids for some history and pics then for a camel ride around the back of the pyramids. Riding the camel with the pyramids in the background was an amazing experience and something I have dreamed of doing since I was a kid. I even got a camel kiss. Off to the Sphinx afterwards for some more cool pics, including a Sphinx kiss! Yasser is a great photographer! We went to an egyptian perfumery who supply oils to the big perfume houses. I wasn't expecting to enjoy this visit as much as I did and walked out with 4 bottles of pure perfume oil, two of which are recipes found from ancient Egyptian tombs... Yum! Visited the papyrus scroll gallery and got a demonstration of papyrus paper making and then bought a beautiful hand painted papyrus paper with a secret glow in the dark watermark! Had the most amazing lunch with soup, bread, tangine, kofta, salads, rice and a selection of yoghurt and tahini. There was so much food I couldn't eat it all but the manager kindly packaged it up for me to take for later. Went to the Egyptian museum with my own personal egyptologist and saw so many mind blowing things including the golden mask of tutankhamun and unwrapped mummies. We stayed until the museum closed and then was dropped off to my hotel door. I had such an amazing day, it really was a dream come true. I was nervous about being a single girl travelling on my own but I needn't have worried because Yasser and Ibrahim looked after me so well. Couldn't recommended higher!

Fantastic day with tree of life

Tree of life provided us a safe, fun and informative tour. Lunch was great and the transportation comfortable. Yasser was an amazing photographer who knew the best angles and locations for memorable photos. I can’t recommend Tree of Life highly enough.

Amazing tour with an awesome guide!

My wife and I did an 8 hour private tour with tour guide Mina Wasfy. He showed up on time and took us to all the places on the list and more. We were impressed with his knowledge of all things Egyptian. He definitely took his time explaining everything to us. Even while we were driving he pointed out places and things of interest. He also took us to some of the best places to buy souvenirs. The icing on the cake was that Mina took some great pictures of my wife and I. This entire experience felt like we were doing a tour with a friend. I would definitely recommend doing a tour with Mina.

Incredible day tour!

My friend and I spent the day exploring Cairo and Giza with Ahmed Maged (tree of life day tours). He was definitely the best tour guide that I had during my time in Egypt! You can tell that he is very passionate about Egyptian history and culture and does an excellent job of sharing that enthusiasm. I really enjoyed our tour through the Egyptian Museum - his explanations about key artifacts combined both historical knowledge and humor. My friend and I also requested to be dropped off downtown after the tour, and he was very accommodating of our schedule. Go on a tour with him - you won’t regret it!!

Great day, great tour, great guide!

Me and my sister visited Egypt earlier this month and booked this tour. By far the best tour I got in Egypt! Our guide Ashraf was amazing! He was prompt in replying to any of our questions prior to the tour. The planning of the logistics was great and seamless. He was on time for picking us up. He set the correct expectations for the day as far as all the activities, places and timing around each part. The car arrangement was very comfortable and we never had to wait long for the transportation. Ashraf was great in sharing his passion and his knowledge with us. It made the experience come alive. He was very flexible in changing the destinations (we stayed a bit longer shopping) and gave us the best highlights of the museum, pyramids and other places as we were passing by them. His wealth of knowledge of the country and the city's history made this tour excellent!

In love with Cairo

Our tour guide Rasha picked us up from the hotel on time and she was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. She was excellent helping us with photos during the day and all in all a wonderful tour guide. I highly recommend her.I wish I could have stayed longer but I will definitely return one day.
