A Perfect Escape to Fayum Oasis with an Exceptional Guide

We had an exceptional tour to the Fayum Oasis near Cairo, thanks to our amazing guide, Adri. Our group consisted of three women and two young children, and Adri was incredibly attentive throughout the trip. He ensured our safety and made sure we had fun at every point of interest. His perfect Spanish and fresh perspective added so much to the experience. For those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Cairo and do something different, this destination is a perfect choice. It offers both nature and entertainment, making it a fantastic option for a unique adventure.

Amazing experience

What a pleasant tour. The valley of whales is so amazing. Though we didn't find the large whale fossil in the openair area. The view of oasis and magic lake are also magnificent. Lunch is delicious and large portion.

I cannot rate this trip highly enough - it is bettter than excellent. Book it and prepared to be wowed!

I was picked up by Amr and from thereon the day was fabulous. The Valley of the Whales was awesome and I was totally blown away as was the Waterfall. I could have stayed at Valley of the Whales all day, but Amr gently reminded me I had other things to do lol. Amr is very knowledgeable and great fun too. He made sure my every need was tended to and the pace was set by me. I was totally comfortable throughout. The lunch was a very good standard, delicious and so much of it. I cannot recommend this trip and Amr enough - the value for money is off the scale. It was also nice to get away from the bustle of Cairo and move wiith the sedate pace coupled with loads of fresh air. Miss this at your peril. Thank you Amr, every day has been a great day in Egypt. This was my penultimate day in Egypt and it doesn't get much better than this. I feel very spoiled.

Awesome tour and experience

Tolva (aka Tony) was our tour guide. He was awesome, fun, knowledgeable, and kept the haggling locals at bay for us. The camp site that we visited had a wonderful lunch prepared for us. You really do get your money's worth on this all day tour. Our driver who took us around the desert was also fun, and kept us safe. Definitely would recommend this tour for small groups 👍

Definitely recommend it

Really amazing experience. Eslam was my guide (and driver from Cairo to the camp and back) and he was very friendly and helpful. Asked me if I had breakfast already on pick up from the hotel. I declined it but he still got me some snacks, water and a fruit juice. Very good driver too. We stopped at the White Desert Camp on Fayoum Desert area where we got the 4x4 car and driver to go to the Valley of Whales first and, when we got there, it was almost nobody around. Went to the visitor centre and then a bit of a walk around the site. After that, we departed in direction to the Magic Lake where you can swim if you feel like it. We stopped at the top of the hill for a panoramic picture of the lakes. After the magic lake we went to the Wadi El Rayan Waterfalls. Then back to the camp for lunch and experience a bit of sandboarding. Then back to Cairo after a day full of adventure. Thank you Eslam once again for your time, friendship and availability to help when needed. Definitely recommend it.

An interesting and fun day

My friend and I were very lucky to have Tolba as our private guide for a long day tour. The weather was beautiful, Tolba is fun, very patient. He also took some fun pictures with us and for us. Our desert jeep driver Mohamed is a skilled and safe driver. The lunch was delicious. Overall, it was a fun day.

Amazing place and wonderful guide and driver

The valley of whales is amazing. Our guide, Tony is very nice and we learned a lot from him about Egyptian culture and daily life. It made the drive from Cairo very pleasant. Our driver, Mohamed is great. The sand dune rides are my favorite. The lunch is very tasty.

Valley of the Whales experience

We had a great trip with Tony to Valley of the Whales! He was really attentive and catered to all our needs. The lunch was lovely and we really enjoyed the 4x4 experience driving up and down sand dunes. The Valley of the Whales was also quite interesting. Tony took many beautiful pictures of us.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would

We had an amazing day with Tony. He’s as great of a person as a tour guide. The views were breathtaking, the program was fun. Everyone was really welcoming and made sure that we have a great time. We even learned some words and phrases in Arabic from Tony that brought us closer to the culture. We definitely recommend it to couples, groups and families too.

An experience not to be missed

On time pickup by Khaled was appreciated especially since it is a long drive from Cairo. The Valley of the Whales is an incredible site not widely known, well looked after with a very nice museum. A visit to the waterfalls and lake was an interesting contrast to the open desert. Lunch at the Bedouin camp was delicious and more than enough. The hospitality and friendliness of the people was warm and inviting. A great experience!

Incredible trip with an incredible company!

This tour was amazing! Great from start to finish. The owner kept us in the loop with all the plans and everything was very well organized. We were picked up and given breakfast, snacks for the road, lunch and dinner! Our driver made regular stops including stops to take photos. He was an absolute gentleman, always opening our doors and he took very good care of us. Upon our arrival at SIWA, we were given time to freshen up at the hotel and our reception was warm and inviting. After we had a nice rest we headed for our night of camping into the desert. We took 4x4 vehicles and the expert drivers raced us through the gigantic sand dunes…it was so much fun! We then stopped for a picnic and watched the sunset. When we arrived at our camp, we had a delicious traditional Siwan dinner cooked in the ground and I can tell you it was the best chicken I’ve ever had in my life! The owner, Gamal attended all of the events and he was absolutely lovely and lots of fun. His crew took very good care of us. The following morning we went to our hotel in town and then we toured many sites including the salt lake which was incredible! Gamal and his group paid attention to every detail and made this trip a memory that will last a lifetime!

Khaled is THE BEST!!!

We had the most amazing time with Khaled! He kept surprising us with more and more! This was definitely one of the best tours I’ve taken in Egypt over the past 15 months that I’ve been exploring this region. Khaled was exceptional at explaining everything and he just made the day 100% enjoyable.

Absolutely amazing tour guide delivering a fantastic tour. Khaled picked us up from our our hotel with snacks and water for the trip out and gave us an entertaining drive He took the extra effort to walk us through the exhibits and fossils of whilst we could see other guides were sitting in the local cafe He also knew all the tricks to take amazing videos and photos - could instantly tell he was a seasoned veteran at this The 4x4 sand duneing aspect of the trip was also perfect, Khaled set us up with ‘Desert Vin Diesel’ who was a lead foot and suited us perfectly Khaled also snuck in a present for us that wasn’t part of the usual trip and was very appreciated Overall experience was tailored to us and I’m very grateful we got such an amazing tour guide

My friend and I had a superb time in the desert with Khaled who deserves a promotion for being the most considerate guide we have ever had. We loved seeing the beautiful oasis, learning at whale valley and eating a traditional lunch. I highly recommend this trip!

Fun day trip to beautiful sites outside of Cairo

Eslam was an excellent guide. I had always wanted to see Wadi Al-Hitan, the valley of the whales, and he was a ton of fun and always checking in on my needs or answering my questions. I had a great time and would use this company again if I had had more time in Egypt!

Tolba is extremely kind, friendly and always did his best to satisfy all our demands. We felt very safe. The car was clean and confortable and we couldn't wish for a better service.

Brilliant Day!

We were looking for something unique to do on an extra day in Cairo. The tour to Valley of the Whales with oasis, lakes and waterfall was fantastic - more people need to be aware of this experience with the fascinating history of what was once ocean and now desert and the discoveries made there. The tour also included a delicious lunch at a Bedouin camp. It is a long day but there is no one better to spend it with than our personable and knowledgable driver/guide Khalid. He really went above and beyond! He made sure we had the best day! We highly recommend this tour with Khalid!

Good private trip in the desert

It was a nice local day trip if you search for desert discovery. Ahmed and Mohammed were very kind and helpful. In addition, you will have great pictures for souvenirs.

Amazing experience

Felejthetetlen program, csodálatos helyeken

Imádjuk a természetet, ezért nagyon jó választás volt nekünk ez a program. Csodálatos volt a sivatag, az ősi bálnák és más állatok fosszíliái, az élettel és színekkel teli oázisok, a rengeteg madár. A legjobb viszont a vezetőn volt! Khaled Al Faramawy a legkedvesebb ember, akivel Egyiptomban találkoztunk. Jól felkészült, kedves ember. Mindenkit ismert, mindent azonnal el tudott intézni. A teljes napot úgy igazította, hogy nekünk a legjobb legyen. Majdnem 10 órás volt a program és végig nagyon élvezetes. Köszönjük Khaled, remélem még találkozunk!

Unforgettable journey

The guide was very good, fluent in English, punctual, responsible, able to meet all needs, and also create surprises. The whole journey was comfortable and convenient. Relaxed and safe journey

The driver Islam was on time for the pick-up. He drove smoothly, safely and reliably throughout the trip. He helped us find a 4WD driver and took us to visit the Whale Canyon and the waterfalls in Wadi Rayaan. We also made a short stop at Rayan Lake. The lunch was authentic and filling. The driver Islam was young but very attentive. He was also patient and waited for us to take pictures. He also recommended some other places for us to visit. Thank you very much. It would be better if he could explain more information about the attractions in English.

Fun, interesting and highly recommended experience!

It has been a fantastic and very fun experience. The 4x4 excursion through the dunes has been very exciting, with an experienced driver who has made it very enjoyable. The visit to the whale valley has been very exciting; There are multiple fossilized whale skeletons in the desert sand just as they were found and a very interesting museum. The visit to the waterfalls has also been very nice, especially seeing the local population enjoying the bath, their kindness and the affection they showed us. We also visited the magical lake and were able to swim. The food at the Bedouin camp was very delicious and in a beautiful setting, where we were also able to sandsurf on a dune. Finally, we highlight the kindness and interesting explanations of our guide Mahmoud, who was attentive to our well-being at all times. Without a doubt one of the most interesting experiences of our trip to Egypt

Journée de rêve !

Nous avons été ravis de notre journée dans le désert et particulièrement de la visite chaleureuse avec Esslam. Ponctuel, il a su contribuer à rendre cette journée inoubliable grâce à sa discussion et à ses talents de photographe. En effet si vous avez la chance de parler un peu avec lui et du vous intéresser à la culture, Esslam se fera un plaisir de vous raconter des anecdotes, de vous emmener dans des lieux magiques et de vous faire bénéficier de ses connaissances sur la spiritualité egyptienne. Nous avons ainsi pu, durant le trajet, voir la cérémonie du changement de place du musée égyptien. Plein d'humour, il saura vous divertir et vous expliquer les détails sur les lieux que nous avons traversés qui sont juste exceptionnels. Il vous emmènera vers un camp bédouin ou l'accueil est chaleureux et où Mohamed prendra ensuite le volant pour un voyage riche en sensations! Au retour vous bénéficierez d'un succulent repas typique et encore une fois, si vous vous intéressez aux personnes, elles se feront un plaisir de vous répondre en détail. Bravo pour la conduite à Esslam et Mohamed! Enfin nous pouvons garder de très beaux souvenirs de cette excursion grâce aux magnifiques photographies que notre guide a prises avec talent. Bref aucune fausse note pour cette excursion que je recommande vraiment. Nous sommes très contents d'avoir choisi celle ci parmi toutes les autres proposées en Égypte, nous avons du faire un choix et pour nous c'était le bon!
