Very poor service. Meet and assist was not there. We had to spend 1 hour in the passport control. He didn't help us with the luggage. Sad and shameful. I hope Viator can refund us our money

Running to a meeting from the airport

I had a tight schedule - a meeting that I was to attend begun at the time that I was scheduled to land at the airport. Surely, I could not make it to a full meeting, I wanted to minimize the damage. The meet and greet service (facilitating the airport arrivals procedures) and a private transfer in a comfortable car with a guide and a driver made it possible to be at the hotel (identical to the meeting venue) in a reasonable time. It really minimized the stress caused by my schedule.

Excellent Service

The provider met me just beyond the gate and walked me through the Visa process, going through customs, getting luggage, finding a working ATM, finding a bathroom, and going with the driver to the hotel. I paid a bit more for the complete service but it was well worth the extra money since I was a single, senior female traveling alone and arriving late at night. I was so glad I had arranged this transfer from the airport to the hotel!

Miscommunication all around

We were told that the driver would meet us inside the air port and assist with luggage and passage through customs. In stead, we found out later that they were waiting for us out side on the side walk. We didn't have a way to contact them, so ended up using one of the hockers for 3 x the price. We did use them for other trips to and from the airport and they did much better.

Transition made easy

This was my first time to Cairo and I suspect I had the average trepidation of my first time in Africa and the Middle East, and how it would be to navigate through customs, gather my baggage, and then get to my hotel. I can't recommend this service high enough. They made this voyage simply effortless and pain free. Right off the terminal (nearly the gate) they were waiting, and proceeded to facilitate getting the Egyptian VISA (which took literally 5 minutes with their help). This was clearly accelerated as they spoke with the official to help, and then right through customs, and to an awaiting car just outside the airport doors. There are so many people, and groups, that are shouting for you to come to them that it can be overwhelming as one doesn't know who to trust--by hiring this service all of the confusion was defused. The car service from the airport to my hotel was also efficient and expertly driven. For those who haven't had the pleasure of experiencing Cairo traffic yet . . . lets just say that the lane lines are really just for decoration. I'm pretty sure all of the drivers in Egypt are orders of magnitude better than in the USA as they just have to be. Imagine a sea of flowing high speed bumper cars inches away from each other flowing around traffic but not hitting each other. I'm sure a taxi service will also be good and safe but knowing I had a TripAdvisor researched driver did make me feel completely confident. Overall the entire process was super helpful, and I will not hesitate to use them again.

Great service! Arrived late in the evening jet lagged and guide was at the bottom of escalator near baggage. Assisted us thru passport control. Once you get your bags he takes to the arrivals curb and phones a car to pick you up. No one is allowed to wait near the curb like at us airports. I couldn’t see any taxis to hail. He jumps in with you and got dropped off about 3 minutes down the road in the middle of the freeway. A bit weird but I was too tired to ask. All in all easy and smooth service.

Exceptional service!

This was the most helpful and friendly service when we arrived at the Cairo airport. It was midnight, we had been flying many hours. Ibrahiin was right there waiting for us and helped us through the Visa process, Customs, and assisted with our luggage. We then met our driver, Mohammad, who along with Ibrahiin got us to our hotel. This whole experience was so helpful and appreciated by our group of four!! Thank you!

Excellent reliable service.

I used them to pick up my in laws. Their flight was delayed 2hrs. The rep wasn’t at the designated pickup spot before passport control but was still able to find them. They said the service was courteous and they were helped all the way through customs and given a nice ride home. They said their three suitcases barely fit into the sedan so if u have lots of luggage let them know in the special request section. They are a wonderful company and I definitely recommend them.

Could not have been any easier!

Meeting our assistant in the airport was great, he had a sign with our name on it, helped get us through the airport claims, baggage, & customs in record time. Help with our luggage the entire time, all the way out to meet our driver. The driver loaded our luggage and proceeded to our hotel with no hassles. Our drive was much more relaxing not having to worry about the drive, directions, or if we were going to have to pay to much. I would recommend for those that like to have a plan!

Our representative was waiting for us upon arrival. He helped us retrieve our luggage and purchase the entry visa stamp, then delivered us directly to the limo. He made our arrival so easy after a long, tiring flight. A completely hassle-free experience!

<p>We weren't sure how easy it would be get transportation from the Cairo airport to our hotel in Giza. So to make it easy for ourselves, we booked a round trip with Viator and ended up with Sinai Travel. We weren't sure if we needed to confirm our booking but by the time we arrive in Cairo, we didn't even get a chance. But as we deplaned and started walking towards passport check area, we saw a guy holding a sign with our names! We thought he was our driver, but turned out to be our airport greeter. Mohammed helped us navigate through the airport - getting us out in record time. And guided us to the car with the driver. He gave us helpful tips - what to expect, what we might want to do and where to go eat near our hotel. Not only that, when we had questions about what we should do in the evenings, he helped us book a night tour of Cairo and a dinner cruise on the Nile! Overall, we had a great time with him on the night tour and really enjoyed hanging out with him. Mohammed is super friendly and honestly, felt like a friend by the end of the night. We are so glad we booked the airport transfer but found Mohammed who gave us two really fun experiences.</p>

<p>If you book this through Viator, request that the local tour operator is South Sinai Travel. Then request, actually, DEMAND that Akram Hassan be the one who meets you at the airport. As a woman in my mid seventies traveling alone I was quite nervous when I arrived in Cairo. Akram was so patient and so attentive and so accommodating. He calmed me down. Got my visa for me. Took care of the luggage and customs. Helped me register at the hotel. Pointed out various things about the hotel that I would be using during my stay there currency exchange, business center, etc.. He has the perfect personality for the job that he has.</p>

This was a top notch guide and company as I also used them for another tour that night. He also went above and beyond his duties in assisting me with contacting the tour guide for my 10 day tour as I had not heard from that guide when I arrived. What excellent customer service. On my second 10 day tour in Egypt I had 2 passengers that also booked their day trip through this tour company and were a little uneasy as they did not know what to expect. When they told me the tour company I reassured them they were in excellent hands and would not worry one bit as I had Ameer and shared my experience with them. Our driver met us in the terminal after we got off the airplane and helped us through the process of getting our tourist visas and working our way through customs. While we waited in line to get our passports stamped, he purchased our tourist visas so they would be ready to go. He helped us out with our luggage and got us out of the airport quickly and efficiently. While the process caught my girlfriend and I off guard, it's a legitimate thing in Egypt and I'm happy we were able to get that kind of service, especially at 3 a.m. when you're exhausted from 24 hours of travel.</p>
