60 Min Quad Bike Ride Private Tour from Cairo or Giza

RAAFAT THE BEST

Raafat, the driver who picked us up and took us back to the hotel, is excellent. Very friendly and patient, he took us to different stores in the area and waited for us whatever was necessary. Recommending sites and very gentle and correct. The problem was with the Quads, because of 1 hour of quad that we had hired, they only took us 30 minutes through the desert of the pyramids. Thanks to Raafat, they gave us another turn of the time that was due to us, but this time it was through meaningless streets and without a view of the pyramids. The experience is good, but they don't fully comply with what is contracted. Raafat was undoubtedly the best and helped us a lot. Recomendando sitios y muy gentil y correcto. El problema fue con los Quads, porque de 1 hora de quad que teníamos contratado, solo nos llevaron 30 min por el desierto de las pirámides. Gracias a Raafat, nos dieron otra vuelta del tiempo que nos correspondía, pero esta vez fue por calles sin sentido y sin vistas a las pirámides. La experiencia está bien, pero no cumplen del todo lo que se contrata. Raafat sin duda fue el mejor y nos ayudó muchísimo.

Good overall experience

Overall, the experience was great! I will say that they were accommodating in a later start time since I booked it last minute and was far from their pick up points. I met them and it was no problem. I would say anticipate 2 hours in total to get to the location, ride the atv/quad bike, and head back with traffic. However, they will probe you about other shops not listed in the itinerary. Scarfs, spices, and oil/perfumes. I get it - it’s part of the business but I was on a time constraint for a different tour. Thankfully we only did a quick stop at one of the locations and they skipped the others ones per my request. The actual atv/quad bike experience was excellent! I would say wear pants bc the heat from the motor was bit hot against my legs and I was wearing shorts. I had not ever drove a quad bike before but it was very simple with their explanation and the guide sat right in the front to help. Drove through the area which was a bit sad to see but once we passed that - the desert was excellent for photos and videos. The driver Rafaat and interpreter Andrew were easy to deal with. Understanding of my situation so no issue with them. I would have left this 5 stars but I’m bringing it down a notch due to someone contacting me constantly on WhatsApp for a review. They also sent me lists of other tours they offer right after booking and confirming on WhatsApp. This isn’t an issue for me but might annoy some other people. The issue is just constant messages to leave a review which I don’t like.

Exhilarating Ride, But Poor Customer Service.

Pros: The ride itself was amazing. My tour guide sat on the front of my bike and steered and used gas the entire ride and had he not done that, I would not have had the same experience. It was exhilarating! One of the most memorable moments of my life. He was very kind and experienced. Cons: the operator of the tour harassed me in messages, trying to force me to book other tours with him. He also got upset if I didn’t respond to him quick enough. The driver who picked me up for the bike ride took me to FIVE shops, after I told him several times that I didn’t want to stop and was not interested. The pickup was at 10am, but the ride doesn’t start until 12pm and the two hour gap is so that they can take you to shops and hope that you buy. The driver was not listening to me at all and tried to pretend that it was because he didn’t understand what I was saying. When he dropped me off at my hotel, he asked me for a tip. If this tour was simply about the ride and nothing more, I’d recommend, but all the nonsense that comes with it is honestly terrible. I know that after posting this review, the operator is going to respond rudely and with lies, so that’s that.

Quad bike in Giza Pyramids Sahara

Very nice experience, we got picked up from our hotel by driver Samuel , he was so god and friendly , quad bike was ok not new but that availability in that area , we drive easy and got so many photos in the Sahara

ATV desert tour

The experience was a five but the actual ATVs were a bit lacking in up keep. Brakes were not the best and the area we drove through to get to the desert was filthy. Besides being picky it was a hell of a time and would do it again with better clothing in expecting to get dirty.

Fun sunset quad bike ride

It was a fun sunset ride on the quad bike. It wasn't too hot. I could see the sunset in the pyramids. Everything went well. I was in good hands with my driver Tamer .

ATV and Pyramids!

The ATV ride was so much fun. We stopped at 3 view points to view the Pyramids. Unfortunately it was a little hazy in the morning so the Pyramids were a bit hard to see. But as the day progressed, the Pyramids came into better view. The guide sat on the front of my ATV to help steer and adjust gas/breaks as needed but he would give me the directions first so I could do it myself. He led me on some jumps on the sandy hills around the Pyramids and it was super fun. If you have time, definitely ride some ATVs among the majestic Pyramids.

Quad Bike Fun!

This was a fantastic experience! We had actually gone to the pyramids on a different tour a few days earlier but couldn’t pass on the chance to go back to see the amazing pyramids again. The quad bike tour was amazing. You are free to roam the desert and sand with a guide giving you a rough path to follow. You are free to choose your speed and this was not a tandem bike. You have multiple stops where you can take amazing photos with the pyramids in the background. I would strongly recommend this tour and in fact, we had originally booked a different quad bike tour a few days prior. However, that tour operator was terrible and was not responsive. We booked with this company as a result. We had a great time and would add this to your trip if you have the time.

Exiting experience

Our trip was excellent because we got exactly what we payed for - we were taken from our hotel, brought to the place, had the quad excursion and then brought back. There were no extra offers, no imposing or stops in tourist places. The driver Ahmed was nice and we felt comfortable with him. Everything was safe and we can recommend it.

QUAD BIKE RIDE AND THE PYRAMIDS BACKDROP

We had great experience today on the quad bikes. Collection and drop off to hotel as stated. We then were safely taken out to the dunes and taken on a track to photo spots, our guide took some fantastic shots of us with the pyramids in the background in several locations. Crazy ATV Desert Ride 💥

No words can describe the experience... Absolutely phenomenal. My driver arrived early and was very informative throughout the journey to the pyramids. Quite jovial and kind. My guide was also awesome! Took amazing pictures and videos, very professional! You can also add more tours if you'd like for a reasonable price which was good. Totally would book with these guys again!

We had a great experience with this tour. We originally booked an ATV tour at the pyramids which was awesome, but then we extended our time with our Driver Moaz to take us to the other side of the pyramids and also to the Egyptian Museum. Moaz was patient and flexible. A pleasure to work with!

Quad bikes tour! Very fun and the views were great. You could see the pyramid really well while driving in the desert!

Great views and a really nice trip! Pick later hours for the quad bikes as you will enjoy it better when the sun isn’t as hot. Definitely wear long bottoms and a cover for the face along with sunglasses as it gets dusty! Overall, I recommend this tour!

ATV Quad Bike Tour on Pyramids

Fun times on an ATV by the Great Pyramids!!

I had a great time and the driver was great! He picked us up on time and drove us safely to the ATV business and returned us to our hotel.

Amazing adrenaline rush

It was a great adrenaline rush and there are awesome views of the Giza Pyramids. No large cameras are allowed, but you can bring a cellphone for photos.

Atvs in the desert

We booked this last minute as we went to Cairo for the afternoon. We received a response straight away Moaz the driver was polite and collected us near the pick up point which was efficient as we were already on the way to Giza. We then rode the atvs to the desert which was cool the path along way the way is through the back roads which is interesting. The actual experience in the desert was good, the sand dunes are crazy. The guide took great pics in front of the pyramids. I’m only giving 4 stars as they wanted to charge us extra to drop us at a hotel we was going to have dinner at. This is unfair as the deal included hotel pick up and drop off and even though we basically came to then. They couldn’t drop us back for free. Apart from that good activity!

Quads and the Pyramids!

Had a blast riding quads by the pyramids. The guys were awesome and took some awesome photos for us. I would like to give a special shout-out to our driver Tamer, extremely personable and quite knowledgeable. Overall, I would recommend it.

Very beautiful views, very good explanations on the history of the pyramids. Very good quad ride, it’s magnificent!

Terrible

Zero security, many of the quads stopped dead. The guys who guided rode in the front and drove backwards. No helmet, even though stones flew when passing over them, they didn't hit us by a miracle. The garage where the quads are located has an absolutely terrible atmosphere. Garbage and dead animals everywhere, a smell... I don't recommend it, it's also tiresome until you're bored trying to get more tours and take you to stores to buy and get their commission. Very heavy.
